Love Thy Neighbour
Love thy neighbour is a podcast for anyone who's ever been bullied, judged, or othered - whether it is mental health, sexuality, criminal records, disability, race, age, gender. Created by a Neurodiverse formerly incarcerated host living with complex PTSD. My name is Phillip Jenkins and this is a space to fight back against stigma, standing up to the community who think they can silence you with your past, or ghastly judgements from neighbours that breach human rights laws because of having a criminal record. If you have ever felt like the outsider, this one's for you. Know you're rights. Reclaim your story, and most importantly: Love Thy Neighbour - but keep the gate locked.
Love Thy Neighbour
"Breaking Point: Surveillance, Stigma, and Survival"
In this episode, I share a harrowing journey of discovering hidden surveillance and confronting the devastating effects of stigma. Through an intimate narrative, I talk my life becoming a digital prison, exposing not only the psychological torment of privacy invasion but also the harsh realities of systemic failure and community indifference.
Phillip doesn’t just recount trauma—he advocates fiercely for awareness, resilience, and solidarity. Highlighting how easily personal privacy can be weaponised, this episode urges listeners to confront their roles in either perpetuating silence or fostering support.
Raw, emotional, and profoundly human, this episode is a call to reclaim dignity, community, and justice.
"You've been listening to Love Thy Neighbour. If you loved it - share it. If you didn't.... well, maybe you're the neighbour we're talking about."
