Sunshine & Bubbles's High Vibin Podcast
The High Vibe Tribe: Sunshine and Bubbles Unleashed
Two soulful friends break their silence after years of dreaming, planning, and growing together—literally. Sunshine and Bubbles finally hit record on their long-awaited podcast, inviting you into their world of hemp farming, spiritual growth, and authentic friendship.
Their journey began at Sheryl’s Club 175, a local biker bar where fate first introduced them. As they reminisce about wild Sturgis adventures in 2006 (complete with hailstorms, bikini tops, and Tom Petty concerts), they reveal how these shared experiences formed the bedrock of their decades-long friendship. The conversation flows naturally through memories of dancing on tables, chasing windblown tents, and screaming "Where is the love?" from the back of a four-wheeler—moments that shaped their unbreakable bond.
Fast forward to today, where hemp has become their unifier and catalyst for change. For seven growing seasons, they've cultivated cannabis while raising their children side by side, learning about the plant's healing properties and discovering their shared purpose. Their passion for dispelling misinformation about hemp and sharing alternative healing knowledge shines through as they discuss their vision for what they lovingly call their "High Vibe Tribe."
But this podcast isn't just about hemp. It's about divine timing, answering spiritual calls, finding your purpose, and being vulnerable enough to share your gifts. From Bubbles joining her church worship team after receiving multiple signs to Sunshine's insights on the potential of the cannabis plant, their conversation weaves together spirituality, motherhood, entrepreneurship, and friendship in a way that feels both grounded and uplifting.
The episode concludes with heartfelt affirmations, inviting listeners to join them on this journey of growth, learning, and community. As they say, "We didn't come this far to only come this far." Speaker 1:We're like at a moment, we're like we're looking for a producer, but that if we were looking for a producer, we would never be doing this. We are the producers, the editors, the creators, the I was going to say fornicators.
Speaker 2:Got that yeah On a good day, danny.
Speaker 1:Baby. It is springtime so I feel like that is in the air Feisty. It is Fresh and feisty. Yeah, that whole revival, yes, kind of thing. I think it couldn't be more timely to be popping off this podcast Podcast On 4-2-25. In the spring season, coming off of the new moon, for new adventures, new beginnings. And I've seen Sandhill Crens today, so that's how I feel, like I knew it in my soul that it was time.
Speaker 1:I'm so down for the ride girl. Seriously, when I woke up this morning, I did not think we were doing this, did you? No, I thought we were for the ride girl. Seriously, when I woke up this morning, I did not think we were doing this, did you no?
Speaker 2:Nope, I thought we were playing with herbs, which is fun. This is even more fun we can make our own sound effects.
Speaker 1:For real Loop that Garage band. Just kidding, love you garage band. Be nice to us, be kind, we're learning. It's intimidating, though I feel like that's what so much of this is like. We knew we had a vision.
Speaker 2:What? No, that just seems so good, the fact that we just invented that we're intimidated. I'm like, oh, the cat is out of the bag, that's a lot Either way. I know, but it just felt so good to be vulnerable. Like guys, we don't what we're learning. We've learned so much and that's why we're here to share it all of it.
Speaker 1:All of the beautiful lessons that have been served up by the divine creator himself. You can't make this stuff up. Not our plan, seriously, to like be driving after the YMCA and be like see the sign of Sandhill Cranes and be like it's time, go time, show time. Just start the podcast and start sharing.
Speaker 2:I'm so happy that you're in tune to those signs, because I feel like they're everywhere and we just miss them sometimes.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:How many times do I have to tell you?
Speaker 1:I'm telling you, tell it, get it. We'll never get it right, we'll never get it wrong. We're never done learning. That was good. I know there is more to that, but it's out there. How much fun. And then here we are.
Speaker 2:Oh my gosh where's the love kind of the beginning right, sunshine and bubbles. Before we were even sunshine and bubbles. What was that crackling, I don't know. Did you hear that too?
Speaker 1:I'm hearing that is it because? Oh yeah, that's okay, we won't hear it. Yeah, it could be with that. Do you want to get into surges 06? I don't know, sunshine I feel like that's a whole other. That's another show. That is another show. Or do we just do it now?
Speaker 2:well, I mean, I feel like even then, our mission was the same like stand along. Where is it?
Speaker 1:it's fine, let's share it here we are as we're riding on a four-wheeler following the water truck in glenco surges, south dakota 2006, with my dad and his friend. Ah, that's sealed in our friendship right there. We had known each other from cheryl you work in the club. You were young, you were a baby, you were 18. I was young.
Speaker 2:You were even younger, I was even younger. How old was?
Speaker 1:I. We are how many years apart? I'm 37. You just turned 41. Yeah, so four years apart. So you were 18. I was 14. When you started bartending? Yeah, not in 06. No, when we went to Sturgis, I was 18. Then, yeah, which is wild. But so you had been working at Charles for a while. I was too young. I was staying out of the bar. I was like hitting the books.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I remember when you'd come in you were so cute and so much energy and and you're so cute and so much energy and you're just like what, really? Yeah, they didn't even know what hit them?
Speaker 1:What Meow?
Speaker 2:Who is that? And you had this super cool purse and it was like like lice and plates Do you remember that no? I don't know if it was like a lice. I think it was like different ones.
Speaker 1:I actually kind of do remember that.
Speaker 2:The things you remember, right? That was the first initial Me remembering meeting you Coming in like a hurricane.
Speaker 1:Hi guys, let's party. Well, I do. When I was 16, my mom would strap a shot belt on me and she was a biker bar you and be like oh, go feed the fish or go sell these shots. She threw a leather hat on me with the vest, and I was out out in the wild. I went so I made really good money.
Speaker 2:You did so good yeah, I remember being like make it, make it yeah they still love me, but yeah.
Speaker 1:I still love them that was amazing you can take the girl from Cheryl's, but you can never take Cheryl's from the girl the original mothership the OG mothership, yes, where our friendship all began. And it's because of my mom and your brave heart walking into a crowded biker bar and asking my mom, cheryl, for a job.
Speaker 2:Twice, twice. She told me no the first time. I still had braces, though.
Speaker 1:She's like, yeah, I'm losing the braces.
Speaker 2:Are you?
Speaker 1:eagle, are you old enough to be in here? Right oh my gosh, I did I was like ah, remember me how long, like how far in between?
Speaker 2:like months, just like a couple months. Yeah, so it's still fresh.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they were supposed to be way before that oh my god, she probably, she's probably protecting you in her way. You know she was like it's rough out here I had no idea.
Speaker 2:I had no clue.
Speaker 1:You need those braces off. But what a place of community Cheryl's Club To bring us together. And then going to Sturgis, I mean like I remember my dad just having this idea of like we're going, I'm like, let's go, I'm in. And I remember my dad just had this idea. He'd be like we're going, I'm like let's go, hi man, yeah. And we like packed up and we went. I don't think we thought too much about it.
Speaker 2:No, we were just going.
Speaker 1:And like we were like, oh yeah, get sunshine, Cool yeah, I would have gone without you. No, we were the only girls.
Speaker 2:Yeah, 40 year old, 50 year old men. Like father like figures. Yes, yes, all our dads. We had so many dads.
Speaker 1:Little Mikey Scooter and Scoop. Yes, regimen, he was there, but yeah, it was like our squad, they looked out for us. We were well cared for.
Speaker 2:Until we weren't, until they let us loose yeah, until we were like peace.
Speaker 1:We were like crawling control army, crawling back to the tent. You were trying to make me puke. You were like have another shot you'll never forget that right seriously it's like jack, you want some jack it worked. Honestly, I carried. I carried that with me throughout all of my party days when I was drinking, because you know when you need to puke I'd be like, oh, I had another set of Rumblemans in my head. Oh my gosh. Thank you for that, sunshine.
Speaker 2:Bite the dog to bit you.
Speaker 1:Hair of the dog. Oh my gosh.
Speaker 2:Wow, we made it.
Speaker 1:We saw Big, and rich we saw tom petty and stevie nicks in the rain, in the pouring rain, at the buffalo chip that was. That was and I'm pretty sure tom petty had a really good buzzer going on, because I remember him tripping. He was tripping over the cord, he was doing full-on Whaley's though Remember that I will never unsee Tom Petty rock and he rocked so hard. He was everything he wanted to be. And then Stevie Nicks seemed to levitate on her magic carpet. She floated in there on her magic carpet and waved her hair around and I was like and the land side.
Speaker 2:Before we knew about the magical hippie gypsy women.
Speaker 1:She is the original gypsy lover soul.
Speaker 2:She's amazing and their chemistry is undeniable. They were so good together.
Speaker 1:And they still are right. Dv nicks is still going strong. She is still out there, yeah yeah, yeah is that betty alive?
Speaker 2:no, all right, we love one time. You'll always be a legend in our hearts. Not too long ago.
Speaker 1:I miss that. Okay, I can't Google it. Come on Where's your Post-it. Yeah, google, when Tom Petty passed. My goodness, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2:I kind of set you up for that one Bubbles. I apologize.
Speaker 1:Well, no, if I don't know, chances are maybe someone else doesn't know, right? Well, I guess Stevie Nicks is still. I mean, I've just seen her. Well, maybe that was like seven years ago already, but she, I never my jaw was. I was hanging the whole time. I was like this lady, yeah, powerhouse. For sure, just her stage presence and her confidence and her message was just so powerful.
Speaker 1:I just remember being that experience I'll never forget. Yeah, I believe it. But yeah, oh, jackal too. We seen Jackal at a full throttle before it burned down. Yeah, the original full throttle, oh yeah, which was insane Jackal. I think they were just kind of like up and coming. Yeah, cause it was the chains.
Speaker 1:I was like, yeah, because it was the chainsaw. I was like, and he was like with the chainsaw on the stage and we were like, yes, that was so cool in between, like the sphere with the motorcycles, like going around, and we were like, oh my gosh, how much detail should we get? We've seen some things at Sturgis that we will never unsee. But also I feel like the miles put on, that that was. I feel like the miles put on, that was so cute, that was such an adventure.
Speaker 2:Us in our mini skirts.
Speaker 1:Riding Harleys In bikini tops In hailstorms. String bikini tops in hailstorms.
Speaker 2:I'd do it again. Yeah, I totally would.
Speaker 1:There were so many. Now looking back, there were so many magical occurrences that happened. You could tell angels were on our side and looking out for us every step of the way. But I think where we had started with this whole Sturgis adventure which could be an episode in and of itself when we want to divulge into all the dirty details but it was how we solidified our friendship and looking for I'll never forget riding around in that four-wheeler and just screaming out on the top of our lungs where is the love?
Speaker 2:Isn't that the Justin Timberlake song and the Black Eyed Bees?
Speaker 1:Oh yeah.
Speaker 2:Like that wasn't what we were, but no, we were like where is the love? Where that came from.
Speaker 1:We found it.
Speaker 2:We found it in so many Everywhere.
Speaker 1:It was all around us. We are the love.
Speaker 2:Especially that sweet cop that believed that you were 30.
Speaker 1:When I was 18. At one eye check, it was on. From there I feel like I got the wristband or something. I was like dancing on top of tables and it was on from there. I feel like I got the wristband or something. I was like, yeah, dancing on top of tables. Remember that Little Mikey never looked so happy he was cheering us on.
Speaker 2:He was like yes, after he went and chased his tent.
Speaker 1:Yeah, chased his tent down from flying away and flapping in the wind. He had to stake it down.
Speaker 2:He just refused. Yeah, he was like free bird.
Speaker 1:Untethered. I love him.
Speaker 2:All right.
Speaker 1:He's still my key. His laugh, though, was so infectious, goodness.
Speaker 2:So much love. And your theme song for Sturgis, before we close the Sturgis book for a minute, was Buck Cherry.
Speaker 1:Crazy Bitch. Yeah, yes, and mine was Niles Barkley.
Speaker 2:Does that make me crazy? I think it's called Crazy. Does that make me crazy? And Ronnie's was Fergie.
Speaker 1:Oh yes.
Speaker 2:Which one? I don't even know. All of the Fergies, the promiscuous.
Speaker 1:I'm thinking of Fergalicious Definition.
Speaker 2:I don't think, I don't know if that was it or was it, we'll have to get back to that one. One in particular, but I can't pinpoint it.
Speaker 1:For some reason I'm thinking of Feel Good from the Black Eyed Peas, though the laugh where he's like.
Speaker 2:That is definitely in the mix. Yeah, we can make a soundtrack for that trip, and then we'd have to throw Mikey's like, can't you see?
Speaker 1:Can't you see?
Speaker 2:What that woman is doing to me, bangers. I remember, remember when the jukebox fell off the wall at Cheryl's and then we had, like the old school one, like the push button, for a minute. No, oh my gosh, somebody ripped the jukebox off the wall. Jukebox.
Speaker 2:It may or may not have been Chadwick and yeah, we got a replacement of like an old school one where you had to like push the button and like the little record it was probably a CD at that time, but like it came down and like that's where you learned a lot of people's music, because they had a. Really you only had so much to work with, right. Yeah, yeah, that was really a lot of people's music because they had a.
Speaker 1:Really you only had so much to work with right yeah yeah, that was really fun, oh my gosh digress I'm sorry, little mikey, I love you all right.
Speaker 2:Oh amy, what do you want? You need to be me, I think. I've been for you for a while Maybe longer if I do yeah Longer if I do.
Speaker 1:Yes, oh, such good times and we have been friends ever since. Yeah, fast forward. That was 06, right, mm-hmm, probably Wait. Well, yeah, I think we met before then friends, oh, six, yeah, so yeah, like there's no denying, like the universe brought us together through via sherald's club, yeah, I, yeah, it was definitely surges. Yeah, that would make an unforgettable experience together. That was the foundation of our friendship.
Speaker 1:Yeah and that's like right when you first met danny yeah, I was gonna say like I went, danny, when I was 18 yeah, you were only a couple of months like months in dating him. I remembered yeah and so oh yeah, and he, I didn't met his parents yet and I remember meeting them, I think, right before I went to surges. Oh so you're like no, yeah, so, so, and then they were like you're going where?
Speaker 2:What yeah?
Speaker 1:I was like I'm with my dad yeah, we're going there was, but I remember them being like Daniel, we need to talk. You might want to.
Speaker 2:Just getting ready. Yeah, oh, yeah, oh yeah. Hence DNA.
Speaker 1:Danny and Ashley, DNA all the way With Kelly Sunshine. We're super dank, Dank. Then you got Dankert in there too, Love him. Jet ski Jesus Amen.
Speaker 2:He reminds me of King Triton on. The Mermaid Especially with that wave right here For real Just needs one of those.
Speaker 1:Tritons yeah.
Speaker 2:When's your?
Speaker 1:birthday Dank Dane Gertrude Coming up. That is amazing. Yes, all the beautiful people and friends and mutual friends that we have along the way has been really, really special.
Speaker 2:Yes, 100% Too many to count, so you've always been Kelly Sunshine, though. My mom gave me sunshine. Yeah, she has been that someone for me oh yeah, I'm sure every mom's. Well, it's stuck. I don't know if it was my blonde hair.
Speaker 1:Yes, yeah, and you're a shining personality. You are a ray of sunshine, you're the whole sun.
Speaker 2:She's so happy somebody was telling me like their impression of me and it like made me giggle so hard. They're like you just like walk in. You're like is that really what you think of when I walk in? Because that's funny, I appreciate that, all right, cool. Because you like, like we talked before, we don't really know what people think of us.
Speaker 1:Who cares? I was like no, we don't care care. I don't know.
Speaker 2:But you know, it's just like you just never know until they tell you yeah, I'll take that that's huge.
Speaker 1:I mean, what a compliment that is yeah. I know. I mean you really embody the sunshine spirit. That is for sure. Whenever, yeah whenever I even see sunshine, I think of you. That's like the hugest, the best compliment ever.
Speaker 2:Thank you. I'm glad you said that it's a beautiful thing. And Miss Perculator over here. Yeah, I bet you guys can't guess what she got her nickname.
Speaker 1:Get down with Pcolator. It's not percolator, no nor the torculator oh, there has been times. There has been times, don't? That's the after podcast party yes, oh yeah, how much fun, how much fun, so fun. Yes, shout out to Uncle Dave who nicknamed me Bubbles. I just loved it. I heard it and embraced it and I was like, yeah, this is it.
Speaker 2:No, it totally like it's you. They're so light and floaty and fun and beautiful and colorful.
Speaker 1:Yes, I like that colorful. Yeah, you know, bubbles are colorful remember that one batch you got.
Speaker 2:They were like I've never seen bubbles like this before. They were like orbs like when grease leaks out and like it's pretty, though Like yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we got to get some more of those, for sure.
Speaker 2:Farmer market season All the bubbles I really want.
Speaker 1:You know, like those bubble witches that like have it like in their cauldron and they like push goes around like boom out goals. I need like a whole bubble bath situation. Uh, okay, we just need to. We're gonna make it happen. Yes, all of them I might. One of my favorites is that big like uh wand one where you would kind of like pull it apart in your bucket.
Speaker 1:We care, we literally carried around a bucket of bubbles all summer long sloshush sloshes, slush, sloshes in the back of our truck, back in the G unit, and my goodness, that is wild.
Speaker 2:But they bring so much joy and happiness, just like you, to everybody, especially kids. Who doesn't like a bubble? For real Five million. Right, that was a hit at St.
Speaker 1:Patrick's Day. Oh my gosh, I was in my glory.
Speaker 2:You looked like a Statue of Liberty and you had the green shirt With my mom putting down the ribbon on me.
Speaker 1:Looking back, I'm like I look like the mayor. You did you did and people were waving at you. I was the mayor, mayor, you did, you did and people are waving at you like you were new.
Speaker 2:I'm a mayor in my own universe Nailed it, mayor Vacaville.
Speaker 1:Well wait, it was because you brought the bubble gun out of nowhere on St Patrick's Day. It was a total surprise. You got me, which is turns out I actually ordered a bubble gun Very similar, did not come in time, and here comes Kelly Sunshine.
Speaker 2:That's even more wild.
Speaker 1:Yes, that's why I was like you can't make this stuff up. Manifestations are real. I'll just say that the universe will find a way, one way or another, Time and time again. You just have to have faith and trust that everything's going according to plan.
Speaker 2:The power of the spoken word. Just be careful with your words.
Speaker 1:Be careful. Positive, think of sunshine and bubbles. How much fun. Oh my gosh, this is so much fun.
Speaker 2:I cannot believe it. What are we nervous for? We're just being ourselves.
Speaker 1:Yeah, this is great. This feels really aligned, this feels really good it does.
Speaker 2:And this is the perfect way, because we always have our friends, our high-five tribe Do you know? High-five tribe. Telling us that they just want to hang out with us and spend time. We're like, yeah, we do too Every time. Well, you know, like come to Farm Day and then you know a couple people come or whatever. We're always like the door's open. But this way we can like enrich your life in the best way possible, be convenient A little energy zap. Thanks, yeah, definitely.
Speaker 1:Listen at your leisure.
Speaker 2:Absolutely. Car rides are my favorite time to listen to podcasts?
Speaker 1:Yeah, I think a lot of people listen before bed too. Um, maybe to maybe not so much motivational, inspirational, but unwind. Yeah, it's like an unwinding like a ritual before bed. It's really. I see that too. That's when I read. Yeah, because reading is one of my favorite things to do. That's why you're so smart. You say you're supposed to read 30 minutes a day 30 minutes, that's the magic number, that that is the magic number. I mean you can start with 10.
Speaker 2:And honestly, that's really it's a good book. 30 minutes goes by like five minutes, right, you're just like you're into it. Yeah, Like okay, 10 more minutes.
Speaker 1:I feel like that's where most people get like intimidated or stalled out is because they're not reading the right book 100%. But there is something out there for everybody.
Speaker 2:There's a million zillion, trillion different books and you just got to look within. What makes you happy? What kind of talents do you have?
Speaker 1:What gifts do you have? The signs? I feel like if you go give yourself an opportunity, it'll jump out of the shelf at you. You know it'll be like read me yes. If you go to say a prayer you know, I wish to find exactly what I need when I need when, I need it, and that book will jump off the shelves at you one way or another.
Speaker 2:A hundred percent.
Speaker 1:And you better read it. Plug for reading Plug for reading.
Speaker 2:When's the last time you I love the library? It's like a spaceship. Neverneverland.
Speaker 1:Whee, I was actually. It's funny you mentioned the library because I was just talking with Carly from the facial, my facial lady, and she was really curious about herbs and she was asking me about herbs and I know she's a reader and I know she loves science. So I was like you know, go to the library Because I think she's like and I know she loves science. So I was like you know, go to the library, yeah, because I think she she's like. No, I'm gonna just buy it right away and I don't. I don't like to tell anyone what to do, but I'm like hey, may I make a suggestion? Yes, I'm like. I would really recommend going to the library and looking through the books because there's just so many different, even styles.
Speaker 1:So an herbal, an herbalism book, you know you have the scientific the pictures the witchy herbalist, you know, like the, the um astronomy sometimes. Yeah, zodiac, planting, gardening, I mean I just feel like there's a zillion and one ways to define herbalism in your in. Make it your own, so someone, one book, will speak to you. So I was like until you, until you know, you don't know. So you gotta go into it with an open mind at the library too, because sometimes the book picks you 100.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's great. Um, I was gonna say something about it. It was good. It's okay, I'll back and if you don't like, the book. Oh, that's it. Yeah, because you have to return it. It's like encourages, if you do check it out, to read it, right, because you're like now you got a deadline. Yes, oh, that is yes.
Speaker 1:I didn't.
Speaker 2:You know, I bought books, so guilty, and they have not been read yet. Yeah, with the best of intentions, of course, but yeah.
Speaker 1:And that's energy. You know, you spent money on there. I feel like time is the best, the biggest resource right and use it wisely. So if you knew you had to return it, and no harm, no foul. If you didn't read it, let's say you did get a couple of pages and it just wasn't for you, it wasn't jiving that's okay.
Speaker 2:Yeah, just return it in time so you don't get a fee, right that is a. Thing if you do, you know you're still supporting the library. Yes, and if you get too many, you don't pay them, they take your license. Did you know that?
Speaker 1:actually I feel like I have heard that yeah, so return your library books what's someone else's property? It's not your book. Yeah, yeah it's like be kind, yes leave it better than when you found it, or in the same condition, like take care of your, take care of it, I wonder.
Speaker 2:I don't know if it's allowed, but can you put like a little like something in the book for the next person? Yeah they like shake it right, I bet they go through it. A sticker yeah, something nice, of course not malicious, but even a little note yeah, I feel like wouldn't be yeah.
Speaker 2:I've even purchased, like used books and had notes that like aww, even though it wasn't written to me, I was like that is so sweet yeah, like you're almost like in someone's mind or someone else's like thoughts, because it is private yeah it is vulnerable when you're invited in to someone else's thoughts or even like underlining and stuff.
Speaker 1:It's like, oh, I wonder what they were thinking when they did that. Oh man, I highlight like everything and I kind of like oh, yeah, I would have done yeah. So it's like you're vibing on a whole nother level.
Speaker 2:Everything's energy. I do highly suggest buying a used book that has been used, like highlighted or underlined or something, just to see a different perspective.
Speaker 1:Just make sure you smudge it first. I feel like I would just smudge it because you just never know you have to protect your chi at all costs.
Speaker 2:Yes, hi-ya the gong, cue the gong. Protect your chi, yeah, at all costs. Yes, hi-ya yeah.
Speaker 1:Where's the oh the gong, cue the gong, hi-ya, hi-ya, cue the chime.
Speaker 2:My favorite. I just love that.
Speaker 1:I honestly think that's where it started. Those chimes On your desk, yeah, it was like my first instrument, I believe. So, honestly, I remember just loving I went to maybe not my first instrument, but I remember going to church and having Rich play on the chimes and it seemed to put me in this great mindset. I got the chimes, then I think I got the gong that was there too, and the chimes and the tambourine it's been everywhere. Yay, love that thing.
Speaker 2:This tambourine could talk. Who signed it? Sierra? Marin In my club Willie, willie Nelson. It was to Willie. It was at Dave Matthews Band, it was at the Elevation Worship. That was amazing. They played it on the stage.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they brought it up on stage. That was wild. Whoa, that was powerful stuff. They brought the tambourine up onto the stage. That was really cool I thought I was going up there too. I was like bring me up there. Yeah, I was like bring me up there, I was like bring me. I was like bring me, I'm the tambourine player. They wanted the tambourine. They missed the cue. It was a sign. Maybe another time I did DM them too and be like, hey, do you ever need a tambourine player in your band?
Speaker 2:Next time they're in.
Speaker 1:Wisconsin.
Speaker 2:I'll fix you. Yeah, like let's go. Yes, uh, miss worship team member over here band practice tonight.
Speaker 1:Worship practice tonight with a whole new set of songs. Because there's two worship teams, they go every other and so I was supposed to be on the one but they but I had to be on this one.
Speaker 2:So so you're going to be there this week again? Yes, and then next week too.
Speaker 1:I don't think so, I don't know. Stay tuned, yeah, stay tuned. I'm fine by the seat of my pants with this one.
Speaker 2:I was so excited to see you there. I hope you liked it.
Speaker 1:I loved it. I was like oh my gosh.
Speaker 2:We just saw Kid Rock the night before, blue jeans and a rosary.
Speaker 1:Yes, speaking of the tambourine, I tried to bring in the tambourine and they were so gracious enough to let me. They watched on. I was like it's my prized possession and they watched it. They watched it underneath the was like it's my prized possession and they watched it. And they said they could. They watched it underneath the metal detector and they said I could pick it up after the show. So I did, but they took your harmonica.
Speaker 2:My whistle.
Speaker 1:Oh, your whistle.
Speaker 2:It was on my key chain.
Speaker 1:Really that's not even like you had it on your neck, like you were going to play the whistle Like it's, like I didn't even know it was there. It was a rape whistle.
Speaker 2:What the heck, I thought they were going after my tick remover. That could have been a weapon, I don't know. They're like the whistle ma'am, those are not allowed. But then I was like, is it because of basketball games or, like you know, because I could be confusing everybody blowing whistles, I don't know. She had something.
Speaker 1:No distractions, no whistles, no distractions no whistles don't take your eyes.
Speaker 2:I didn't think I'm like asking if I could get it back and it probably didn't think it was that special to me and it wasn't really. But I'm just gonna get another one and not bring it in there next time. Amen, all the lessons you learn.
Speaker 1:I'm taking the whistle, but cheering for learning these lessons.
Speaker 2:The blessings in the lessons.
Speaker 1:I love that the blessings in the lessons. I don't know why I want to say it.
Speaker 2:I love it when you say it wait. Who is that? The blessings in the lessons? It reminds me of the call Calling me now for the free reading. Who's the?
Speaker 1:father of the baby Right? Is that what you were thinking, hey?
Speaker 2:I love when you bust that one out.
Speaker 1:I love busting that one out. What's?
Speaker 2:your name? I don't remember. Do you remember?
Speaker 1:oh, delilah after dark no the lady.
Speaker 2:I thought that's who you were imitating. Did she have like a commercial that you? Where did you get?
Speaker 1:that from. It is something from like Delilah the dark days, I feel like, and it was like a commercial coming on. You heard it like multiple times and you were supposed to call the 1-800 number on the bottom right, and then get your reading. Yes, okay, thank you I forgot her name. This is, and then she'd say this, and then she'd say that We'll have to Google search away.
Speaker 2:That lady.
Speaker 1:Love her Calling search away that lady love her calling me now.
Speaker 2:Who is?
Speaker 1:the father of the baby? Who that? No but the worship team. I'm so excited. I don't know, like, even where to like. Do I invite everyone? I feel like, yeah, I want to invite all my friends and family to come worship with us.
Speaker 2:That's my favorite part. I love that. I love it all. Yeah, but I love singing with the people too. You know like, and sometimes you're not sure like a concert are you supposed to be singing, because they're the ones singing. But I feel like it's both an energy exchange you sing to each other and all the vibrations.
Speaker 1:That's why I love Al the worship leader, because he's always inviting the people like sing with us, fam, sing with us. That's the whole point is to kind of get the energy up super high, and then Aaron's going to get out there. Pastor Aaron is just going to like drop some knowledge on you and then you're going to lean there and be like what Bible bombs.
Speaker 2:And you're like whoa yes.
Speaker 1:And realizing how interconnected everything is.
Speaker 2:Yes, shout out to New Life Church. It's important work. Oad West Bend, uh-huh. Come see Miss Bubbles Sunday at 10.
Speaker 1:Sunshine will be there too. Am On the tambourine. No, you play the tambourine. We'll work it. We'll keep working at it. She's, kevin, she's.
Speaker 2:Kevin, there is no chime player up there, or like a bongo player. I didn't notice.
Speaker 1:Oh my gosh, kelly, if you played the bongos they were looking for a guitar, a drum player, but I'm sure they would take the bug, the bug on, go the bug on, go the bongos? I don't really know yet but you can make it happen. You know, prayanth, that's exactly what I did. I didn't know, so I was asked by sweet little Karen a while ago and I told her no.
Speaker 2:Karen is the keyboard player right.
Speaker 1:The keyboard player yes, and she also brings all the fellowship food from her heart.
Speaker 1:If you ever want to bring anything too, she does not take anything away, she helps her out. So I feel like, yeah, that's a commitment what they're doing, and I'm just learning a greater respect and appreciation for what it takes to run any kind of organization, especially a high-vibing church. Yeah, you know where jesus is at the forefront and it's all for his glory. Yes, so she had asked me and I had said no, it wasn't ready. You know, my kids, your, our kids, the kids, you know I just had a million excuses right of like why I couldn't commit to band practice or band to band, but it just so. That was on the back burner, didn't really? You know, thought about it, but not too much. But I was reading in my, in the book what the journey, it'll come the prayer.
Speaker 1:I'm completely by Rick Warren present something time to be in the present by Rick Warren, something like no, that's not exactly it. It'll come, but in the chapter it's like a 40 day journey that you're on of, you know, making the commitment which you started right at lent, so that's perfect yes, yes, right on ash wednesday, I believe, and can't make it when it just fell upon me.
Speaker 1:I remember reading the first page, I'm like, oh my gosh, it all makes sense. So we're all here. It's like that kind of riveting story because you've read it or you're working through it. But that page that I was on, I was talking about fellowship and commitment to the church and how, in order to deepen and strengthen your relationship with Jesus and God, you have to make that commitment and quit making excuses. And it spoke to my soul. It was like, oh my gosh, like here we go, yes, yes, yes, I'm ready. This is the sign. Surrender, right, surrender. So I prayed. It was the day that I was on, it was right before Sunday, and I've been, you know, reading the book and a chapter of the Bible or chapter of the book and some passages every morning. So that morning I prayed for a sign and I was like give me a sign to show, to give me a sign of how I can get further involved. It was either through music or through the children's program, in teaching the Sunday school for the littles, because I love, I love those littles.
Speaker 1:And they need somebody for that as well. So it takes a tribe, take the high five tribe. So I prayed for a sign and, sure enough, oh, so I did double church that day. So I feel like my first sign was when I went to, the churches were connected Right Like it talked about a purple cloth in at Kettlebrook off of 33. And, would you believe, I walked into that new life and there was that purple cloth draped around the cross. In the beginning I was like, oh my gosh. So because I was kind of like church crisis, of like which one I go, I was doing both. It was taking up a lot of time, like I was like oh my god here, but I loved it and I I'm still gonna keep trying to do that. Obviously this is fabulous when I get um but so the purple cotton?
Speaker 1:like, oh my God, this is where I need to be, like church, and that is for real, for real, and, and then I made it for worship. I was late, but at the end of the singing Mary was saying how she was stepping down and there was, through her own personal circumstances, was saying how she was stepping down and through her own personal circumstances, she had to step down from her singing position in the choir and they're looking for new people.
Speaker 2:That day.
Speaker 1:That day, purple cloth day, purple cloth day. Then Nate Haynes, rachel's brother. He says like Ashley, you should do it. And I was like what, what? I did not know Really. And I was like what, what I did not know really. And I was like, oh man, nate, because he sings up there and he's like join the choir. I was like, oh boy, still not totally convinced. Then, after he hooked me up with al, the worship leader, and al confided and said, geez, when we were sitting there during the sermon I kept looking at you and I was like she should really do it, she's the one she should come up here. And he told me that and I was like, really, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2:What a compliment.
Speaker 1:Because I also found this year that the universe is really wanting to be asked to do things. And so there it was, in three different ways being asked to get up there, and I was like, yes, let's go, sign me up, put me in, give me the music sheets, put me a coach.
Speaker 1:I'm like we're doing this. It's a whole vibe. Danny was not thrilled because I feel like the commitment, you know, band practice once a week and then coming there an hour and a half early before service as well. So, and you know, of course you're on a pickup with a kid.
Speaker 2:Yeah, he's got it.
Speaker 1:So it's going to be take the time, take the whole try, but I'm going to be more excited to but he was there to see you. Yeah, and he came and he brought the kids and I remember the kids are like the first. The Sunday later is like Nixon, give me the thumbs up, You're over there.
Speaker 2:I didn't want to distract you, but I was like all the beautiful faces and I feel, I felt so good. I just felt so good in line.
Speaker 1:I didn't want to make eye contact, so I was like don't make her nervous, no, make the eye where I was supposed to be looking or whatnot. But then I thought too, I'm like you know, like looking out at the music, like I feel like performer, like people like you should know the music, Like you shouldn't have to look at the music sheet.
Speaker 2:To be honest, you were looking up more than some and not comparing. But yeah, you were making eye contact.
Speaker 1:I was like is this awkward?
Speaker 2:Is this weird?
Speaker 1:I feel like it. Yeah, they're like look into my eyes then a couple times yes yeah, I was really. And then Charles Barlow's there too, the girls, to see that singing too.
Speaker 2:Layla, I'm not so sure Lily was singing, yeah, because I don't know if they normally do like. They might a little bit, but they are singing more Like probably because you were there, I'm assuming right.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 2:Why else would they? They're like okay, this is okay to sing.
Speaker 1:Yeah, she's up there singing yeah yeah, yeah, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2:We're people, we can do this.
Speaker 1:Like, honestly, I have no choir background. Like I think I was in choir. That was 20 years ago. I love singing, I love humming, I love dancing. You have such a beautiful voice. It's very unique, it is.
Speaker 2:Someone's like it's the rasp that it needed up there. You need to embrace that. That's a beautiful thing.
Speaker 1:I am. I'm trying to just let it go. I can't change my voice.
Speaker 2:It's your gift.
Speaker 1:That's why I feel so strongly with the Sunshine and Buzzles and the High Vibe Tribe sharing the gifts, because I can't help but think that all of our experience and everything that we've learned along the way together has been leading up to this very moment, right here, right now.
Speaker 2:No, we did not plan this.
Speaker 1:No, no, we did not plan this. No, with your sweet, humble self and all your herbal knowledge and respect for the earth is just so inspiring to me, like I like, look at you like mother Gaia's ray of sun. It takes the sun right like it takes all the elements and I feel like for you. You're in my universe, that's you for me. And I just love that.
Speaker 2:And we got the yin yang going. I'm like the water and the earth and you're the air and the fire and it's like aww.
Speaker 1:Literally yin yang best friend situation, on a divine mission to spread peace, love and light. And hit the chimes. On a divine mission to spread peace, love and light. Ah, and hit the chimes. Yow, wild Woman, sisterhood, unite and beyond, and all our generous males too, that masculine, feminine energy, it all starts to make sense, it does.
Speaker 2:It's a delicate balance, for sure.
Speaker 1:All the sweetest blessings.
Speaker 2:All the sweetest blessings.
Speaker 1:So that's why in this I know we're recording this too we have the pot cast going. I feel like we have the podcast going. I feel like pot has been the unifier yeah, I mean for us in the land and working together and giving us that divine purpose and mission out here. And I just, you know, you have to just giggle about what we're doing because, literally, you know, marijuana or cannabis is not legal in the united states. Right, it's not. It's not even decriminalized, no, still classified as a substance, one drug, uh, and. But hemp is not. Hemp is not.
Speaker 1:And it has been god's gift to us to really come to a better understanding of this plant and it's intent, nature's intended purposes and taking out any euphoric feelings. Right, because they both. I'm trying to, instead of using psychoactive, we're using euphoric feelings. That's the differentiator between thc and cbd or um, hemp and marijuana or cannabis. I don't even want to use marijuana anymore, no, but cannabis gets confusing because that's the plant family and hemp's under it it's all cannabis, yeah, it's all cannabis, yeah yeah, so yeah, that definitely reunited us.
Speaker 2:Like going from the mothership club ship, we each had our babies and brought it back with the cannabis in the field.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and that's how seriously you have been my A1s and day 1s out there in the field. I remember I don't even know did I call you. I was like Sunshine the weeds they're taking over. I mean, you had landscape background. I knew that you were the earth whisperer.
Speaker 2:I know how to pull a weed Well, and beyond. Much more than that.
Speaker 1:That was more than just pulling weeds baby.
Speaker 2:That was jungle fever. That was my first taste of jungle fever.
Speaker 1:But it was the unifier, the hemp, and then we just came together and forged the way and came up with this we still don't have a plan.
Speaker 2:All while being moms and wives and bosses, and caretakers and healers, and we wrote some.
Speaker 1:I mean students, mothers, yeah, juggling all the things. I feel like just like the typical woman here living in america you know, shout out to you women.
Speaker 2:Yes, we love you men, but women keep it together. We're the glue. I feel like a lot of the times the neck.
Speaker 1:They said men is like the head and women are the neck they make, make it move.
Speaker 1:That's from Hunter Pivot. I like that. Yes, it takes all types and all types of women and that's why I just I feel like loving flowers. They remind me so much of women because it's just no one. And hemp flowers, cannabis flowers, flowers no one is the same. They're all different and beautiful in their own right. They're different, uh, phenotypes and terpenes and and thriving where they grow. Different environment factors also attributes to. So it's just they. I feel so connected with the with, with cannabis, um, which has brought, spewed on to all the other alternative healing modalities that are out there and available and free free mostly to all of us, in a day that, in the age that we're so connected through the ether waves, right, like never have we been like this before. This is a dawn of a new age. A 5g, yeah, right, so it's got a and it's all coming together yes, yeah sorry I went off there all in the hump.
Speaker 2:It all started back in the fields. Yeah, that was a magical moment. I didn't see it coming. I just remember you're like, you want to help me I still have have to pinch.
Speaker 1:I'm like change me. We're rolling joints for a living here as our babies were running around, like literally babies.
Speaker 2:They were like two. Yeah, they were like two.
Speaker 1:Well, it's 2019. Yeah, so this is going on our seventh growth season. So, yeah, nixon's nine. Yeah, they were two Mom of the year over here, why not, it would be out in nature. Yeah, no Wi-Fi.
Speaker 2:No water either when they dumped it all over.
Speaker 1:Yeah, all of our bottled water they dumped to make like a mud pie. And we were like no, so thirsty, yeah, we're so thirsty.
Speaker 2:Stay thirsty, my friend and we have and that's what's gotten this far and we're going to stay thirsty, continue to learn and grow and love and be loved for all of his blessings, all of his knowledge, for all of creation, to keep creating with the divine at the top of mind. Using your gifts, fulfill your purpose. We all got one Multiple yes, tune in and tune on. Oh my god, right, right, this is the right right.
Speaker 1:This is the heart chakra for love and healing. Tuning fork makes a difference. We utilize these in our sound bath experience powerful stuff.
Speaker 2:I have the yellow, which is the solar plexus chakra for balance and understanding put it on my head. Put it on my head, yes oh yeah, that's it oh, my god is that so weird, I'm sorry, oh goodness it's on top of my head Like ma'am.
Speaker 1:what's really going on back there?
Speaker 2:See, that's why we had this yeah.
Speaker 1:Totally clear, transparent here. I love you I love you.
Speaker 1:We're going to go tell it on the mountain. All of the beautiful things that we're learning and creating that's our intention is to share. I feel like that's been top of mind for me. It comes up a lot in meditation. It's like share, share, share, share. And then, with my communication degree and herbalism degree, if I ever had a shadow of a doubt what I'm supposed to be sharing, it is probably about the queen herb herself, and that has been the unifier and such a catalyst for change too. I feel like the plant in and of itself has so much untapped, unlimited potential and that's how I feel about, like our being, our, our essence, the farm here, like so much potential. Everywhere I look, I just see beauty and wonder and awe of this plan that we're just unfolding along the way, and I definitely think it's worth sharing. I definitely think it's worth listening and we are just getting started. My friends, buckle up buttercups.
Speaker 2:We figured out how to turn these things on Watch out, check, check.
Speaker 1:We figured out how to turn these things on. Watch out, check, check. That's the intention. Practice what we preach to be his hands and feet can I get an?
Speaker 1:amen, amen. So, in case we missed it in the beginning, I'm Bubbles, I'm Sunshine and you out there listening, tuning in, tapping in and turning on, turning it all the way up our high vibe tribe, because you got to be vibing on some type of awesome level to be listening to us in this far 50, some minutes in to this. And you are our people and together we want to spread the message.
Speaker 2:Welcome to the high vibe dry buds.
Speaker 1:Yeah, Buckle up buttercups. That's what you always say. Told you why it's going up All the way up.
Speaker 2:Elevation station.
Speaker 1:Share the stories, the knowledge and empower our community and unite through love. A one love and share our God-given gifts. Don't be scared.
Speaker 2:Be vulnerable. It actually feels really really good Chop a mind. Let that ego, let that pride. Nah, we ain't got time.
Speaker 1:We're making magic here. Ain't nobody got time for that, but one day at a time. Rome was not built in a day so your patience are appreciated but good news is you're forgiven, we are forgiven. The price has already been paid through his salvation. You can keep rambling on about your business are forgiven.
Speaker 2:The price has already been paid through his salvation.
Speaker 1:So you can keep rambling on about your business, because we already have sin nature and it takes effort, energy and tension to remind ourselves of the good and the love and the light. And this is just one sweet little outlet that we're super pumped to share, and when you focus on that, it's going to multiply.
Speaker 1:ah, yes amen in the land of abundance, especially thinking about why we are born here today, in this day and age, and what is our purpose? Oh, something purpose. That's the book. Journey, taking back your purpose or no, still working on it.
Speaker 2:We got purpose, so much purpose. I feel like we got to play like Wheel of Fortune or something. Am I a mole?
Speaker 1:Yeah, Elevate, co-create and create a utopia here on the Thon. This is Sapphire Studios, where we're recording Coming to you, live on location, and then we're going to be mobile too. We have that one little kidgy gadget that I can't wait to figure out how to plug this in. It's all coming down, but we got to start somewhere first and we're going to get out of our own way. I like looking at you through this screen on here. I still feel like I'm talking to you without, so that works too, yeah.
Speaker 1:I do feel like you're a little over. I feel like you need to come in a little bit more.
Speaker 2:Gosh, my chair doesn't work. Should I sit on your lap?
Speaker 1:There. Now, this is where it should have been the whole time. Don't do that to ourselves, right? No, no, no, we're never going to get it right. We're never going to get it done.
Speaker 2:We're never going to get it wrong.
Speaker 1:Nope, be here now. So I think, on this pot pot because hemp is always the star of the show we are going to focus on the plant for a good portion of it. Or you know, I feel like it's going to take some time to kind of dissect that, because there's a lot of questions, there's a lot of mystery, there is a lot of misinformation out there. So I'd like to dispel some of that and come at you with some cold, hard facts. Yes, some truth.
Speaker 2:Yes, some truth to tell you about it. Yeah, comment you with some cold, hard facts. Yes, some truth. Yes, see some truth that you're about it. Yeah, so you guys have any questions? Please we would love to answer them. We are still learning every day. I feel like there's always something to learn, so we'll learn together. Yes, but we want to know what you want to know, because we know what we want to know but then we know, and then we know, and then we learn more, because communication is key.
Speaker 1:Right, this is a two-way street. We definitely love any feedback, support, encouragement, guidance, tidbits, knowledge, all of the insights. Give them to us. Yes, we will use them and share them and I feel like that's a big vision. Is once we kind of felt like we have talked about him so we can't talk about him anymore. We're gonna bring on experts. We going to bring on industry leaders. We're going to bring on friends, family, loved ones, who knows? And everyone is welcome and get their moment to tell their story and share their gifts, their knowledge, their love, their light so we can build those relationships, cause it's all about a relationship together in the community and that takes time. So please give us lots of grace and mercy. Lord knows we need it. We greatly appreciate that.
Speaker 1:I'm going to thank so much in advance for that.
Speaker 2:Yes.
Speaker 1:And we're going to keep on blazing trails here. Blazing trails, cue the music More cheering. Yay, it's going to be one heck of a ride.
Speaker 2:Yes, Thanks for joining us guys. I feel, like just even listening for this hour and three minutes will greatly change your life, as much as it's changed ours. I don't know, but keep listening and it will Promise.
Speaker 1:That is our blessing.
Speaker 2:Come into our pocket come into our bosoms yeah, that's the hippie fest.
Speaker 1:That's another story. So now to kind of wind down, I invite anyone still listening, you, beautiful person, to close your eye, take a deep breath in and let it out Again, holding up a tap Tight type. Let's do over time and we're gonna throw some positive affirmations your way. Feel free to repeat them in your head or say them out loud if you feel so called I am worthy.
Speaker 2:I am loved, I am blessed. I am safe. I am heard. I am heard, I am seen, I am creative, I am special.
Speaker 1:I am boundless.
Speaker 2:I am capable. Thank you. Beautiful Imaginative I am capable.
Speaker 1:Beautiful imaginative, resourceful gifted.
Speaker 2:I am one with nature. I am dot, dot, dot. Fill in the blanks, guys. You're all those things and more. I am enough. I am present in this moment. I am worthy of abundance and happiness in every moment of my life. I am forgiven. I am forgiven, I am loved, I am thankful, I am grateful and we are blessed and we are blessed.
Speaker 1:Seat at the throne. People, let's go. We invite you on this journey with us. We didn't come this far to only come this far. We love you so, so much. You are beautiful, you are blessed, you are abundant, and we couldn't be more grateful and thankful. Let's wrap this up. How do we wrap it up? It's like the good old Wisconsin goodbye, it's never one love, one heart that was amazing. What.
Speaker 2:I was like my leg with it yeah, it felt really good.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I feel like just having, yeah, mmhmm, and then we have others to choose from yep, cause you gotta go, and then we have others to choose from. Yep Cause you gotta go. It's gone, my friend.
