Comparison can sneak in fast, especially when you’re scrolling and watching everyone else “win.” We start with that real feeling, then bring it back to a steadier truth: God’s timing is not our timing, and our job is to trust the process, give ourselves grace, and celebrate the good happening in other people’s lives. I share what I’ve been reading in 1 Corinthians 2, where Paul shows up without fancy words and keeps the focus on Jesus Christ and the power of God. That simplicity is freeing if you’ve ever felt intimidated by the Bible or turned off by religious “frill.”

We also talk honestly about church, including why people pull away after hurtful experiences, and why I still feel called to encourage fellowship. A church community should be a safe place to learn, ask questions, and walk out feeling lighter because you’ve handed your burdens to God. Then something sweet happens: my sister Rachel drops into the live recording for a spontaneous birthday chat. We get into her garden artistry, the peace she prayed for, and even her hands-on monarch caterpillar and milkweed care, because nature has a way of teaching what faith looks like in real life.

From there, we move into backyard plant medicine and herbal tea, including mallow and wild St John’s wort, plus practical tips for plant identification using Google Lens and learning contraindications before you try anything new. I also share a simple approach for beginners: pick one plant, build a relationship with it, and let that wonder grow. We wrap with a local invite to Homegrown Music Festival in West Bend, Wisconsin, where DNA Hemp and our high-vibe community will be out sharing the day. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs peace today, and leave a review so more people can find the message and the healing.

Opening Worship And Fourth Of July

SPEAKER_00

Indeed I'm a child of God Yes I am I am chosen not forsaken I am who you say I am You are for me not against me I am who you say I am Yes I am who you say I am Blessed be brothers and sisters we have survived the Fourth of July and all the fireworks and celebrations and goodness that comes to celebrate our freedom just in time for 1111 here starting off this podcast for season three episode three in divine alignment with our highest and best. My name is Ashley Amber. I am the host of Sunshine and Bubbles High Vibrational Podcast here to spread peace, love, and light to all of my friends and family, spreading the good word of our good Lord Jesus Christ and all of his creation. And that includes Mother Earth. And there's so much to celebrate here in the season of abundance in summer. It is just absolutely amazing that we get to be on this earth and discover, create, play, and explore with all of his creations because he just speaks it into existence. But I was reading today that has for you and for I, we were made out of dust, molded by his hands for a special divine purpose. And so that was my reading this morning in the Bible. From that has commentary by Joyce Meyer, God bless her soul. She has a divine purpose to really spread the good news, and I just love her for that. But it was talking a lot about boasting, envy,

Envy Online And Divine Timing

SPEAKER_00

jealousy, and it it really kind of hit with me because you know, on social media, sometimes we see other people do great and do wonderful things, and then we just wonder, like, well, when's it gonna be my time? Or when's my turn? Or geez, I wish I could be more like them. And I just was reminded that it is it it is something to be celebrated, other people's wins, and know that our timing would be in all divine timing, his time, and everyone's journey is different, and it's gonna look different from your journey than from my journey, and that is a beautiful thing, and that is something to be celebrated, and is I just love that as you dive into his word, that he reminds you of this, and it's just kind of saying that the spiritual journey is fluid, right? Like we have to give ourselves grace and mercy for for being on our own path and and trusting in the process, and that's where your faith comes in of having that like true rooted faith that we are exactly where we need to be in this given moment. And that is so reassuring to know that you know it is not our timing, his ways are not our ways, his timing is not our timing, it is all up to him. And then as soon as you put your crosses at the foot of his cross, it's just so liberating and free, and and just kind of throwing your hands up and being like, Woo, as long as I have faith, as long as I trust the process and trust in him, there is nothing to be worried about. And 365 times in the Bible it says, do not be afraid. All this anxiety and worry, fear, frustration, depression that plagues our great nation is so unnecessary. That's not what we're called for. We are chosen, not forsaken. We are who he says we are. Uh, and I just feel like I just feel so alive and so on fire with those truths that I believe wholeheartedly. And that is why I am here sharing with you because it is good news, friends. This is good news, and I want to just I if I you put me on top of the mountaintop, I will go out there and tail it. I will tail it on the mountain. So I just wanted to give serious thanks and gratitude for being able to sit in this chair today and share these ether wave moments with you. And thank you so much for listening and tuning in and bringing, I hope I bring a smile to your face and maybe

Paul’s Humble Focus On Christ

SPEAKER_00

a little knowledge. I want to get into, I am now in the book of Corinthians. I've just finished Romans and I'm into Corinthians, and Corinthians chapter two says, When I came to you, brothers and sisters, proclaiming to you the testimony of God concerning salvation through Christ, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, you know, no lofty words of eloquence or of philosophy, as a Greek or oritator might do. For I made the decision to know nothing, okay? That is no for-go philosophical theological discussions regarding inconsequential things and opinions, while among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified, the meaning of his redempted death and his resurrection, I came to you in a state of weakness and fear and great trembling that my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, you know, using clever rhetoric, but in demonstration of the Holy Spirit. Oh, that's so good. So he's coming, Paul is coming in a humble heart of saying, hey, forget all the frill, all the fluff, all the, you know, like, oh, the Bible says this and this is what it means. Like, no, he's coming on his knees as just a humble servant of Christ and delivering the message of our salvation. And that we can throw our hands up and not have a care or worry in the word in the world because that is what we are called to do. And it is said point simply and and plainly, just like that. I feel like a lot of people are nervous about getting into his word, the Bible, because of all the frill and the fluff, and maybe words that they don't quite understand or theories or concepts that are new to you. And it's you're called to do not be afraid. Start step by step, day by day, one chapter at a time. Because scrap all of the people that that have might have put a bad taste of God into your head. They their ways are not his ways. Okay. That's what we really just have to remember that I hear a lot of times of people not wanting to get plugged into a church or be within fellowship with other Christians or other believers because

Church Hurt And Real Fellowship

SPEAKER_00

of what this church did or what that person said or how that person behaved or reacted to them. And so they're like, no, not for me. I don't want that. But as my beautiful, bold, and and bodacious babe of a sister taught me, my my fellow sister in Christ said, she's I've known I can hear her voice where she says, do not let other people put a bad taste of God into your head. Let him show you who he is, let him work through you. And I feel like that's why people might abandon that kind of fellowship and may not choose to dive down in the in the spiritual journey because their understanding of they don't have that relationship with Christ. And maybe they do, maybe you do, maybe I do. Maybe my relationship with Christ is here in the woods, and that's how I can really hear him and feel him and talk to him clearly. Maybe it's not exactly in the church, but I just feel so called to urge people to get plugged into a church so they can be amongst fellowship and communion with people because this is where we learn, this is where we discover, where we exchange and share ideas. A church should be a safe place for people to come together and and keep it real. And and and I feel like church at the core is really about spreading the good message and and and diving into his word and dissecting it and explaining, hearing other people's perspectives of about explaining what he means because it is dense. There there is a lot. There is a lot in this book, and it's a lot to understand. And you know, you're don't feel like you have to understand it right away. I feel like, too, that that's what church was for me, is was sitting next to my sister Rachel. And that felt really good about just sitting next to somebody that you know was supportive in this spiritual journey. And I I didn't know everything, and I didn't, and but I felt like I wanted to, and I knew that was the best place to start was sitting next to someone I love and care about that was supporting me on the journey, that was encouraging me to live my best life and throw all my cares on the cross and be my true authentic self and being being honest and and loving thy neighbor more than I love myself. It was just really encouraging to sit next to her, and as I sat her, sat next to her and listened to the pastor who isn't my our pastor Aaron at New Life Church off of Highway D is such an ordinary dude. He's a truck driver for a company, that's what he does. You know, you know, I don't know if it's nine to five or seven to three or or maybe overtime, I don't know what his exact schedule is, but he makes time to come and preach at our church and spread the good news. And he has a history of a youth pastor, a youth in youth ministry in Africa. So his worldly experiences are absolutely amazing, and he's really been able to gather and collect information from a variety of congregations as he works within the community and share that with us. So his messages just like hit home. They like speak to me on a soul level. Sometimes they really resonate with me. And honestly, when I leave from church, I just feel so much lighter. Like something like a weight, a burden, something that I've been carrying with me throughout the week is just lifted off my shoulders and I just give it to God. And I'm like, here you go. Thank you, Pastor Aaron, for being bold, brave, and bright to be able to have the courage to get up here and teach, drop some knowledge on us and be able to relate with everyday ordinary people without all the frills, without all the the authority that you know he thinks he has. He's very he's a very selfless person. And and honestly, I feel like our church is not perfect, right? Sometimes people and say say and do things that you know aren't directly from God. Sometimes I was offended at some sometimes what people had said or how like people when they approached, approached me and didn't quite understand and things they said, but his ways are not our ways. His ways are not of this fleshly ordinance or world. So I just want to, you know, remind myself and everyone listening to trust in God and his plan. And part of that is being plugged into church. And through church, through the church, I have been hooked up to music. And it was a calling, and I prayed on it. Oh my goodness, the neighbors are divine timing per usual. I hope it doesn't interrupt this this podcast too much. Come on! I love you. Okay, so um

Surprise Birthday Chat With Rachel

SPEAKER_00

Lord give me the strength to keep on going. Music, music, music, music. So, through church, I was asked to be on the wardrobe team. Holy crap, is Rachel watching? Rachel Schaefer. I love you so much, and I want to wish you the biggest best birthday ever. We are gonna celebrate you today, sister. I woke up today, literally woke up out of bed, and I was like, thank God for Rachel Schaefer and that she is my sister here in this life. The fact that, you know, on a July 9th, you were born today as a beautiful cancer soul. You are like the yin to my yang. I I thank God every day for you, because through you, I have been open to learning about God, and I witnessed God's goodness through you, sister. And your just peaceful nature and your humble spirit have just been so inspiring for me. And those seeds that you planted are like totally coming to fruition. Like, look at all this beautiful goodness that is sprouting from what you have planted here by just by just being you, your perfect, beautiful existence here, and in these loving arms and being able to share that with people is such a gift, such a blessing. You are such a gift, sweet pretty Rachy and dragonfly princess, the most humble of all beauties. And I'm just so blessed to have known you, known, know you, and get to know you. And I had the best time shopping for your birthday gift. It was awesome. I was like in the store, like dee dee, like how sweet it is that I have a sister and my other sister too. She's very much fun to shop for, don't, don't get me wrong. But well, and all of my sisters, my goodness, I feel like your vibe attracts your tribe, does it not? But I had so much fun shopping for your birthday gift, and it was amazing that I could just be like, dee d, oh, she would love this, and I love this and will love this, and I can't wait to see watch it flourish and grow, and how sweet it is. And honestly, that song comes to mind too. I think I keep saying, Oh, how sweet it is, because it's that song about Jesus where it says, Oh, how sweet it is to be loved by Jesus. And when you sing that, it's honestly like voice of an angel. It's such a beautiful thing to hear your sweet voice, and I can't wait to share it with you soon. Maybe at homegrown music festival this Sunday. Yow! I'm so excited. Rachel, can I bring you on the video? Is this a vibe? Is this a thing? I don't know. It could be. I'm gonna try. Send request. I'm gonna request it if she's still on there. Did she get off? Do not be afraid. Come on here and join me so we can celebrate you just for a teensy weency bit. I know you gotta get your butt in gear and get over here so we can go out on the boat and uh be in reverence of this beautiful day that God has supplied for us, but I'm hoping for you to get on here. If not, I totally understand. We have all the time in the world, sweet sister. Yeah. Honestly, I prayed for this, Rachel. I was like, you know, I really want to have her on the podcast, but I don't want to like take up your day. You know what I mean? I felt weird being like, hey, Rachel, do you want to be on the podcast? Well, God had other plans, sister.

SPEAKER_03

I just happened to stumble on while you were live. And I can't decline an invite, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yes. How sweet it is, because it's divine timing, sweet Rach. It is divine timing, I think. Happy birthday, sister!

unknown

Thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my gosh, everything you just said is so, so, so, so sweet. Like soul level complimenting.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's what it is. I feel like your soul is just so radiant. And every person that you come in contact, I feel like it's a little piece of your piece. Like your peace, like a piece of your piece. I mean, how do you where do you source this piece from, Rachel?

SPEAKER_03

No! I prayed for it. I asked for it. Because it wasn't always this way, you know?

SPEAKER_00

And that's keeping it real for sure. It wasn't always this way, but then you're saved. Saved by his goodness.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, ma'am.

SPEAKER_00

And I feel like in the sweetest, humblest way, you share that with people, especially through nature. I just, I drove my mom and I and the kids drove by your house yesterday. And we all had like we had to slow down at like a creep level, which is hard to do on that road. But we were like, look at all the beauty that you've created there. Are you in your garden now?

SPEAKER_02

Um, I'm out. How do I switch the camera around?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, can you show us a little peek of olive? I feel like God works through you and your gardens too.

unknown

I don't know how to switch the camera around, but I can't.

SPEAKER_00

I see it though. We can see those beautiful bodaceous flowers. Oh, that's your love language, like working with nature. And how often do you hear all the people saying how beautiful they love going by your house and just getting like a whiff of that beauty?

SPEAKER_03

Um, all the time, which is so so sweet. Especially like my favorite recently was this really um cute old guy. He pulled up and he was like, excuse me, are you the artist here? And I was like, I am. He said, I look forward to springtime just to see what you do. And this isn't even my way home. I take this way on purpose, just to drive by your house. And I thought that was so sweet and special.

SPEAKER_00

It's um it really is art that you're creating there and how everything kind of just like ebbs and flows, and like I feel like you can feel the love raiding off of radiating off of those plants.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I do feel the love.

SPEAKER_00

Well, your love and his love. And honestly, I had the biggest smile when I woke up this morning because it rained. Did you did you get rain this morning over there?

unknown

Uh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And I was like, look, God watered Rachel's garden for her so she didn't have to spend an hour this morning and she could get out of the lake that much faster.

SPEAKER_03

Four inches.

SPEAKER_00

Wow, four inches this from just this morning?

SPEAKER_03

From last night until today.

SPEAKER_00

Wow. Wow.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I bet those flowers are all like good. Happy birthday, dragonfly princess, princess of all winged creatures and flowers and everything high vibrational.

SPEAKER_03

They are too. That's exactly what I said was how sweet God watered all my flowers to be. Now I'm just able to walk around and look at them.

SPEAKER_00

I heard that. I heard that. Well, mammy, I think that you should make yourself your own birthday bouquet today.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I don't know how much I have to cut, but maybe.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my gosh, how much you have to cut? Just like a whole yard pole.

SPEAKER_03

Well, there's just not very many tall ones, you know?

SPEAKER_00

That's true. That's true.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I know you can create some beautiful magic, Miss Rachel. Keep on creating, sister, and we're gonna celebrate you today. I'm so excited.

SPEAKER_03

I'm so excited too.

SPEAKER_00

I just love that that outlet of creativity and to like it's I feel like the garden is kind of like when it and what you're creating your what your love for his nature and and sharing that with the community in that given the space is just such a blessing. You are such a blessing, Rachel. I love you so much.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

I was I don't know if you caught on here about homegrown and the song that I did. Can you sing it for us? Just that line. Jamie! He's probably like these girls. I know they're used to us.

SPEAKER_03

I'm about to give my baby caterpillar.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I got a new milk weed for them right here. Oh.

SPEAKER_03

But look at these cute little babies. These ones, these are only, I think, a day apart.

SPEAKER_01

So there's one.

SPEAKER_00

Rage! Wow!

SPEAKER_03

That is one day apart. Yeah, either one or two. I don't remember, but I'm pretty sure it's just one. Oh wow.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my god, that's like the hungry, hungry caterpillar.

SPEAKER_03

I know. I got a fresh one for him.

SPEAKER_00

Oh thankfully. That is so sweet. Do you have them in the butterfly cage yet? Or where are you keeping?

SPEAKER_03

And uh in a Tupperware. Just because there's so little right now, I would lose them like 15 times. Maybe maybe a hundred. But I did finally figure out how to make the milkweed last in there. How's that? And it it's actually really easy. You once you cut the little stick of milkweed, you bring it in and run it under water and cut it at a 45-degree angle, like as it's running underneath the water, and then you pop it in the water you have for it right away. And then on top of like I use like a little cute apple juice jar with just a small top on it, and then you put a cotton pad around it with a rubber band and just a little slice to pop the milkweed through. So then the caterpillars don't fall in and drown. So it works, it lasted like probably three weeks. Which I couldn't even get them to last a day before.

SPEAKER_00

Wow. So it's really rinsing them, cutting them, and sticking, giving them that water source.

SPEAKER_01

Oh. Oh, I got you. I sorry.

SPEAKER_03

There you go, your little nugget. Fresh.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my goodness. I can't believe how hungry they were. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I know. This was what I ate in like, I don't know. I think it came out of its egg on Sunday, so.

SPEAKER_00

Wow.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That is wild.

SPEAKER_03

And then the little twins, they shit a lot too.

SPEAKER_00

I suppose they eat that much, it's gotta come out somewhere.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. They clean their little paper towel every day.

SPEAKER_00

You're such a good mama. A good earth mama, a good parent, child mama, uh nature mama.

SPEAKER_01

God thanks.

SPEAKER_00

That's wonderful. And don't think for a second that all of uh all the ch the children of God aren't witnessing this and and soaking in all that magic and being inspired by your goodness. As is a reflection of him.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you. Thank you. I learned my mama nest for my mama, so I just told her that this morning. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Well, yeah. Being passed down. All that sweet goodness. Well, I cannot wait to spend the day with you today.

SPEAKER_03

Me neither. We're all packed up, ready to go.

SPEAKER_00

I was gonna say, hurry up and get out of here. I'm gonna wrap this up and we'll be ready to rock and roll.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, sounds good. How sweet it is to be loved by thank you. It's so sweet. I love it. Okay, well, I'll see you soon. I love you. Okay, sounds good, sweetie. My sweet sister.

SPEAKER_00

What a blessing you are.

SPEAKER_01

I love you too. I love you too.

SPEAKER_00

I can't wait to give you your gift. So get over her.

unknown

Oh, I can't wait for it.

SPEAKER_00

All right, sweetie Pie, see you soon.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, love you.

SPEAKER_00

Bye.

unknown

Bye.

SPEAKER_00

Oh.

Life Is A Garden Perspective

SPEAKER_00

Or you can stay, okay. Oh, I loved that. That was super awesome and spontaneous. Honestly, I was thinking before she got on here, I was like, oh, it would be great to have Rachel on as a guest for this podcast. I've been trying to really stay consistent with Thursdays of like Thursdays, and I feel like I gotta kind of rally sometimes because you know, it's just life be life in, and it's hard to like make that time and be consistent with it. So when it was Rachel's birthday, I'm like, well, I don't wanna, I felt kind of like selfish to go live today without, you know, her being a guest or like having her involved in it. And look, God always provides. That's just another testimony. You know what? I love living in awe and wonder of his goodness. And honestly, when you do cast all your cares and leave him at the cross, when you do throw your hands up and be like, I'm not gonna be afraid, I'm just gonna live to the way he's called me to live. And that is to be like royalty because we are chosen and we have a seat at the throne. It is just so awesome to live in on wonder of his goodness, and like to be able to recognize those small moments, those small wins, those like things that really just like continue to testify to his goodness, like and call them out and like speak that out there is just such a wonderful thing. So thank you for dropping Pretty Rachel on the Facebook Live and letting her uh spew some of her goodness onto this wonderful podcast. I can't wait to have her on as a guest again, full on, like a full-on episode, because we can dwell deeper into the ebbs and flows and the weaving of life because she has so much goodness to be shared and to give her that outlet, just another outlet is just such a blessing to be able to do. But as you can see, her beautiful gardens and flowers, and shout out to all those beautiful gardening mamas out there that continue to show up for God's creation day in and day out, day in and day out, and speak blessings over them, you know, sing to them, talk to them, water them, tend to them. I mean, really, life is a garden. You just gotta dig it, right? Like, life is a garden, and the more that you put into it, the more you will get out. And not to say that like we need to get something out of it, but it is just so rewarding when you see all of your consistency, perseverance, and hard work come into fruition into your life, and then to be able to give that glory to God is just such a liberating thing. God bless the USA, where we have the freedom to be able to create, display, discover, and explore, and share that with the world in a place that we're so

Meet Mallow And Herbal Tea

SPEAKER_00

connected. I also wanted to share with you, speaking of gardens, I had this beautiful little plant come to be this year in my garden. It's part of the mallow family, which is very mucilangeless, which is very like lubricating things. So if you have like a dry throat, the mallow family is something that you would want to use and make a tea with. But speaking of the garden, I never planted this plant, right? It just came, it was like a tribute. And normally I think that this plant would be considered a weed. Normally, it would have been pulled by now, way in the beginning of spring, uh, because it's like, ah, this this plant, you know, it's a weed. And it does take some patience to watch it grow. But I this year decided not to pull it, and I was going to let it grow. Let it grow, let it grow. And I did, and now it's this and it's a perennial, so it will come back year after year now. And it was into this big, giant, beautiful bush of all these beautiful flowers, and they almost look like tiny hibiscuses when you look at the pistol, the piston there, and all of uh I hope you can witness this pure plant magic. So it reminds me of you know the hibiscus plant. And when drank in and you and put in a tea, like I made with a fresh tea this morning, it's very calming and uh soothing, and it helps with your skin. It kind of tonifies your system, and it just really brings a lot of peace into your life just by using this herbal tea. And so I guess when I decided to let it grow, I did not fully realize that it was plant medicine. I just thought it was a beautiful, like perennial flower, and I decided to, you know, pour into it a little bit, invest back, and you know, just see what happens. And bam! I looked it up, I did my own discovery and decided and I found that it is plant medicine and it can be used. And I'm like, oh my good, good sweet lord. Always providing and surprising around it's like just on wonder around every corner here if you if you choose to to live like you're you're called. So chas mates. I just love yeah, I can feel that. It's very like it's very like wet, it's very cooling um sensations of this. So I love to be able to, you know, learn. Learn about the the magic and literally like everything in nature, you know, we know we've all heard about the circle of life and that everything kind of has its purpose and its ebb and its flow. And that don't count plants out as that. And I feel like part of building a relationship with a plant is knowing their name. You know, before I had a relationship with Jesus, you know, I didn't really use his name. It was as a matter of fact, kind of it might have been considered like sacrilegious to be able to like speak his name before that. Like you didn't really talk about, you know, religion and God growing up in the bar. I didn't like grow up in the bar, but you know what I mean in the industry. Definitely not there. And so I feel like by getting to know who God is, and that name really strengthened the relationship. And the same goes for plants and trees and animals. You know, no longer am I calling any of his creation it. I will seek to know the names because no, you shouldn't call me an it. Like, hey, it come over here. Like, hey, it, you're invited to this, or hey it, why don't you like no, like, like you're gonna say, hey Ashley, and now you got my attention, right? And so the same thing with the vibrational match of nature is no the first step is getting to know its name. So, hello, Mallow. Thank you for always providing. Yo! And that goes for all of this beautiful plant medicine that I harvested at the farm just yesterday. It's really wonderful. It's been so much fun to get to know the plants that grow just in the backyard there and what their uses are and how we can best bring in this plant medicine into our life. And so now, you know, years later, after growing this relationship, I know what all of these plants are and potentially what they can be used for. And really, plants are just so wonderful because they create such a beautiful synergy within our body. And, you know, you can, if you believe it, you can achieve it. And so I feel like working with nature is really about trusting in trusting your intuition, trusting, trusting that inner voice and kind of just listening. And then in a world where we are so connected, utilizing the resources. So I could really like name off all these names. I feel like the most interesting one that I want to just talk about is this one right here. Uh, they're all interesting and beautiful. I'm sorry, babies. Okay. Um, we will you will, we're gonna use you all in a beautiful tea and see how that all comes together. It's gonna be wonderful. Except maybe borrage, where I will just top my salad with this, as these are edible flowers. I'm sure you've seen all these borrages. They're kind of Mediterranean flowers, but very edible, very delicious, and they bring a pop of color to any dish. Yum. Oh, oh, oh, but

St John’s Wort And Mood Support

St. John's work. It was kind of crazy because I would try to cultivate or plant the seeds of St. John's this season, and nothing really came up in the basket. And I was just kind of like, oh man, well, I tried like St. John's, and I'm still not losing hope. I'm like, is something gonna come up like here, maybe? Maybe even next year the seeds will come to fruition. I don't even know. But I was like, darn, because St. John's is actually an herb that and a flower plant that we use in our high vibe herbal blends at DNA Hemp. And so I was like, oh, I really need to like get my hands on some more St. John's because my supply is running low and I didn't want to have to buy it. Not when I know that plant medicine is so abundant, right in my backyard and kind of utilizing what I have. And so I was kind of like mourning the fact that my cultivated St. John's wasn't really doing so hot this season. And I was on my way into the back 40 of our property, and on the way to the hive, I have one beehive this season. Normally I have two. I have one this year, um, where I'll be for honey because I use a lot of honey into my herbal elixirs and and teas and and formulations. But I was like thinking that day about St. John's as I was watering. I was kind of like, oh man. Um, but it's it's it is what it is, it wasn't meant to be. And as I was on my way back on to back out into the hive, I looked over and I was like, is that St. John's? Oh my goodness, yes, it is. And I was like, St. John's. I was like, let me so I hopped off the UTV, went over and approached her and asked permission. I was like, St. John's, may I please check and see if this is the real deal? And sure enough, the good great way of checking in here, you squish the flower in your fingers, and if you can see that, it turns them like red. It has a red pigment, which is kind of the for you know, for to link it all into Christian and say like the blood of the sacrifice of Jesus. But because in St. John, you almost have to tie the two, but it's not John the Baptist, it's Saint John who devoted his life to spread the good word, and he was very like a happy, cheery guy, has been noted. And that's what St. John's actually does. It is a nature's natural remedy for anxiety, depression, a seasonal, you know, seasonal slump. All of this is a natural mood booster, in which that by the doctrine of signatures, how God lets you know what it's good for is by its color. So it has they're kind of like faded and wilted right now, but it is bright, vibrant yellow colors to them. So when you think of yellow, you think of a smiley face or the sunshine, and you automatically get happy because of good old vitamin D. And so that's what St. John's really just by looking at it, you can tell that's what it's good for. And it's so fascinating that this red pigment would come onto your hands when you squish the flower or when the when you tincture it, that that alcohol becomes red, like almost instantly. It's kind of wild, but that means it's good for your blood. It's it's a wonderful tonic, it's a great purifier, and it helps with your circulation and with your blood and kind of tones your capillaries and tightens everything up so things can smoke, so things can flow smoothly. And not only that, it can be good for your wounds as well. It's been Saint John has been known for your wounds, and so how wonderful it is to think of like Saint John, who's spreading the good message, is helping us heal our spiritual wounds and by letting us know to don't worry, be happy. And all of that is wrapped into the messages of a sweet little plant. And even just hanging out with the plant and and being a part of that like vibration is healing in and of itself. And I very much felt that when I hung out with St. John's, and again, gotta throw my hands up for the testimony of goodness when I was like, oh my gosh, ask, and he will provide every single time. All you have to do is ask. Literally was like needing St. John's, and literally within the hour as I go back there, I discovered her, and it was crazy. I felt silly kind of cultivating St. John's or trying to like plant it, but with intentions of sharing, I did want to, you know, like pot it up and share it and give it out to people so they could have a little piece of the action. But you know, sometimes it's like love her but leave her wilds, right? Love him but leave him wilds. He he was best foraged and wildcrafted out there. And I was reminded of like of that sweet message too of like sometimes, you know, it's not you you get what you need, and it's not exactly how you think it should be. It's going it's how he thinks it should be, and he will surprise you at every corner. So there's many lessons wrapped into the discovery of St. John's of asking you shall provide. Um, nature always provides some lover but leaver wilds and you know, of of herbal healing too, that the God's creation is the best natural pharmacy. And I actually shared like a meme today of like, since when did medicine become where start like as this is like plant medicine of like herbal healing and you know, trusting your intuition and you know, taking good care of yourself so you don't get sick into like to giving the power over to a stranger with pills from things that you don't know what's inside of there, but trusting that person because of an institution that wasn't built on divine alignment and spirituality. So I think it's kind of kind of wild and wild and crazy how we outsourced our power. And this is me actively taking it back and learning the herbal lore and wisdom because believe it or not, all of these herbs have been around for thousands of years and they were just breathed into existence by our good Lord Himself. And the fact that this herbal medicine is so accessible. I mean, we can order borrage from the Mediterranean and have it shipped over here if that's what we want, you know. But or you could, you know, just find it right in your backyard and love on that. So I just think that I'm just giving a lot of reverence to plant medicine and what he's already provided, and that's just such a beautiful thing to encounter and recognize and utilize because that is what we're called to do. And trust in that. Trust in God, it'll he'll never, he will never fail. He will never fail. I trust in God, my savior, the one who will never fail. He will never fail.

Plant Names And Google Lens Tips

SPEAKER_00

Speaking of mallow and hibiscus, I have it right here. I will tell you all about it. I just wanted to like kind of pour some water on the thirst or the hunger for knowledge and information that everything is accessible, it's out there. You know, I'm traditional, I love to have like the book in hand, but you know, not only that online. I just taught a gal the other day about backyard medicine and how to use Google Lens to take a picture of the plant, and then it'll literally help you identify that plant. And then, of course, with a couple more clicks, all of the knowledge and wisdom is literally at your fingertips for you to scroll and check out and share and with recipes and ingredients, constituents, contradictions, what a person that shouldn't be using that plant medicine. So, really like trusting the vibe there and getting what you need for that information because it's all so accessible to you. And this was a book that was gifted to me by one of my sweet girlfriends, Miss Mariah, and it was kind of like on the beginning of my herbal journey, and it was it's called Growing Your Own Tea Garden. And I was like, wow, like whoa! And when I first read this, as you can see, I was really excited. I was like, I'm gonna like just flag everything, and I'm so excited about this. This is really resonating with me, and it seems like in super awesome alignment, and I felt like I had to do it all all the time. But honestly, as I was going through this, it's really like pick one plant, pick one plant that you're connected to that's easy to grow. I mean, maybe you know, you see some Yarrow in your backyard, maybe you know where an epic stash of St. John's is, maybe oregano is speaking to your soul, whatever it is. Pick one plant and build that relationship with it, sit with it, have that plant initiation, let that plant speak to you, how it could help you and give it a try. Experience it for yourself. Don't just take my word for it, okay? I want you to empower yourself to get out there and get after it and pick a plant. I feel like when I first started, I was so overwhelmed with all the different plant medicine. I was like, oh my gosh, this is amazing! Like all of it all the time. And that's just really not how you build a relationship with a plant. Like you can spread your loving all over the place, but when you come home, you better make sure there's some left for you. Okay, so I was kind of like, this is what comes to my head about, you know, like not want choosing to love them all because then you won't have a like a secure relationship with just one. And I feel like lemon balm, you know, Melissa Officialis, she's a beautiful tea, a natural nerving. She calms you down. It's just wonderful. You can this book is just chalked full and uh parsley, sage, rosemary, sage is in this bundle too. You know, what the natives used to use it for and what it what you can do, how do you work with it? It's just chalked full of information on how to grow your own tea garden. And even if it is just starting with one plant variety, that's okay. Always meet he always meets you where you're at. So just wanted to plug like. And encourage that it's not too late. Today is a new day to have a really great day. And go into your backyard and create discovered displore. You don't need me. You don't need I will come and help you. If you want that camaraderie, that companionship, that fellowship, I will like ask and you shall receive. I would love to make some time and spend that with you. But you know, don't wait for me. Like get you don't need my permission to create, play, discover, and explore. Use that childlike wonder. Involve the family, you know, if you want, and see what really speaks to you. Because again, my journey is gonna be look a lot different than your journey, but that doesn't make it any better or any worse. It just is exactly where we're at. So meet yourself where you're at. He will meet you right there in the garden because that's a beautiful place to connect with his creations. As we learned from Pretty Rachy, you know, the world is at your fingertips, and you can create something truly beautiful, and that vibe will attract your tribe, in including in the plant world, because they're energy too, and that energy will match your energy, and you can heal yourself, okay? I just love being able to share this plant medicine. I feel like it is one of one of my gifts to be able to be in communion and co-creation with his existence, and and to be able to share that is just truly an honor. And I want to say thank you so, so, so much for, and I want to speak the word and the blessing over everyone from Joyce Meyer here. Thank you, God, thank you, God, for preparing me for things my eyes have not seen, my ears have not heard, and my heart has not thought of. Things that can only be revealed to me by your spirit. And that was adapted from 1 Corinthians 2, 9 and 10. And such a beautiful thing. And it also says the 1 Corinthians 2.5 teaches us not to put our faith in human wisdom or philosophy, but in the power of God. So when you are out in that garden and you are talking with God and talking with your plants, give him the power, give him the glory, ask him what you what plant you should be working with, and it'll be revealed to you. And trust in that and make yourself some tea, tincture that so you can experience that all year long, and maybe even share with a loved one of what you discovered, learned, and explored. And then that way that'll open the line of communication for them to share with you things that they have been co-creating with. And then our understanding just broadens and we raise a vibration. And before you know it, we're gonna be surfing the uh ether waves ourselves because we'll be vibing that high. It's all really good things, friends, and I love to be able to share, but I don't want to speak too too much. Um, but I am gonna end it with a shameless plug to get your buns out.

SPEAKER_00

If you are in the Washington County area and beyond southeastern Wisconsin, we'll open it up too. I want you to come out to Homegrown Music Festival this Sunday. It is a beautiful group of people that want to bring local artists and bigger named artists to out to Regner Park in West Bend, Wisconsin, okay? And they will be rocking and jamming all day long. It's kind of like a folk, like bluegrassy, alternative type of vibe there. So much fun. And DNA Hemp will be there offering our plant medicine. And another special thing that has happened is last year they invited Sunshine and Bubbles and the High Vibe Tribe to come on out and perform in some capacity. Last year we brought out the sound bowls and we, you know, caught a vibe of playing the beautiful crystal sound bowls and elevating the vibration in that capacity. This year, y'all, I hooked up with J Bird, who is a local DJ, well, local DJ and beyond. He's like a very, he speaks the language of music and how to produce and uh master and provide sound on so many different levels and capacities for so many different events and kind of elevate them using his gifts. And he hooked me up with my first ever two speakers and two microphones. And I don't know exactly what I'm gonna create with that awesome, but I what I do know is that I have a whole binder, binder here, full of music, singing his praises, that I have learned in just this short year that I've been on the worship team at New Life Church, singing, singing to our dear Lord and Savior and giving him all the grace and gur mercy, and it's been reminded to humble myself that I'm still learning, but I do feel like I'm called to share. Maybe I'm creating a band. I don't know. Come join it. I want you to be a part of this sweet action. It's gonna be a lot of fun, and we are gonna be throwing our hands up and singing and giving the glory to God out there with two speakers and two microphones. I'm set up. Thank you so much, J Bird. That was an early birthday gift to myself and my mom came with me and helped support it as well. Thank you so much for planting these beautiful seeds and giving that little bit of encouragement of like, Ashley, I know this is new to you. I know that this might seem a lot, but you can do hard things. And I will forever be grateful for J Bird for just like taking the time and the patience. He labeled every single wire, he labeled the speakers, he knew that this was totally new to me, and it's just something that I'm kind of dipping my toe into, leaning into this new world that he is just a master at creating, and is always new opportunities are opening up for him. So I just I'm just grateful. It it touched my heart of just like that little, like small, like mustard seed, mustard seed of faith in in a sister, you know, and just saying, get out there and do it. You yes, you can, and you will, and it's already yours, and it's already written. And I will it I will hold a sweet spot in my heart for sweet J Bird for, you know, hooking me up. And so now at a homegrown music festival, who knows what kind of magic we're gonna create. But again, I invite you, I want you to be a part of it. Check it out online. I will be sharing it so you can share with your friends, and we can all be friends and co-create some magic. Are you with me? Let's go. All the way up, nothing can stop us. All right, till next time, friends. Hopefully, I'll see you over the weekend. If not, next Thursday. It's a vibe, it's a vibe. And hey, hey, just a little shameless plug. If this podcast has touched you anyway, if you learned some super awesomeness, if you need to bring a smile into one of your neighbors' life, please share the podcast. Share if you care. Just say, hey, this crazy lady, Ashley Amber, I can't even with her, but you know, check her out. And I would so appreciate it because that would help further his kingdom work and spread the good message of his glory, grace, love, and goodness. And you know what? It's already been done before, but not by me. Okay, and not by you. And I'd love to collab in some capacity. Much love, brothers and sisters. Go out there and be blessed. Spread your light, spread the blessings. You can do it. Yes, you can.
