In this episode of PT Path, Amber Fitzsimmons talks with Tanya Goodrich, PT, DPT, founder of Healthy Pelvis Physical Therapy and one of the nation's leading voices in pelvic health physical therapy.

Recently named a 2026–2027 Tory Burch Foundation Fellow, Tanya joins an extraordinary cohort of women entrepreneurs recognized for their vision, leadership, and commitment to building businesses with purpose. She was also featured as an Architect of Change in Maria Shriver's The Sunday Paper for her work advancing awareness of pelvic floor health and transforming the conversation around women's health.

Tanya entered the specialty at a time when pelvic health physical therapy was still relatively unknown, helping to educate patients, clinicians, and the public while advocating for better care for women across the lifespan.

Tanya also shares her remarkable entrepreneurial journey – from treating patients as a solo practitioner renting space in a friend's yoga studio to building Healthy Pelvis Physical Therapy into a thriving practice with multiple locations and a growing team of pelvic health specialists. Along the way, she reflects on the challenges of starting a business without formal business training, learning to lead, mentoring the next generation of clinicians, and remaining grounded in the mission that has guided her career from the beginning.
