Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to another episode of Harry. Sorry I'm late, a Harry Potter Podcast. It's me, Coda.
SPEAKER_03And it's me, Alicia.
SPEAKER_01And today we are here to talk about Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, chapter 5, Weasley's Wizard Weases. And chapter 6, The Pork King. Two interesting chapters. Harry has officially left Primit Drive and he's at the borough kicking it with his chosen family. And they are getting ready to go to the Quidditch World Cup. But before they do, you know, there's just typical girl shenanigans going on with the Weaslies and whatnot. Fred and George are getting into it with their mama. And I don't like to see it, but you know, that's a part for the courts when it comes to family. So we're gonna be talking about that. And then we also have what else going on? We have some more wizard lore in terms of the use of port keys and apparitions and Percy's Percy's getting some shine these two chapters, so it's gonna be interesting to talk about him as well. And overall, yeah, just it's gonna be a two interesting chapters at the barrel. Alicia, what do you think about these chapters?
SPEAKER_03I liked it. I like that we've we're out of private prison. So we're at the Weasley's house, we're outside. I like the family dynamics of the Weasley, and now we're introduced to Bill and Charlie. So that was cool because we get a description of what they look like and kind of their sense of style that Harry takes note of. And then yeah, Percy's just he's in his own world. I can't stand this point. I like him, like he's not an enemy, but he's very uptight and he's very proud of himself. I feel like his family intentionally kind of brushes him under the rug because they don't want to hear his voice. Like he phrases himself enough, they're like, You got it. So we see that a little bit in this chapter where he's like trying to talk about this top secret project and nobody gives a damn. Whereas I feel like if it was any other kid, people would be asking questions. They're like, firstie, you and this ego of yours almost.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. I would say he feels like a bit of an outlier in terms of I mean, to be an outlier in a family of how many people? I always forget, like nine, but seven kids, two. I don't know. To be an to be to feel like an outlier in such a large family is like, damn, you don't have one sibling that you vibe with, or I don't know. It just, I don't know. And now, like you said, we were introduced with Bill and Charlie, and they seem to fit right on in with Fred and George and Ron and Jenny, and then it's just Percy just being Percy. So yeah, as the story develops and we continue on, you know, we'll get more of Percy. And the fans are divided on Percy, I'll say that. Okay. Not to spoil anything for you, in terms of like decisions that he makes and family stuff. And so we'll get more of him. But this is the beginning, the beginnings of us really diving into Percy. And I guess I'll just put the correction right here. So a listener, Irene, she left me a Spotify or left us a Spotify comment, just giving me a slight correction on something that I had said in the previous episode. I think at the time I had said Percy was still in school with them at Hogwarts this year. But actually, Percy graduated at the end of last year, which was like I that completely went over my head. Like, I don't know, they didn't make a big deal out of it. I so I'm guessing Percy is two years older than let me just read what Irene said, chat. I don't get it wrong with the second time. Okay, let me see. So Irene said, Great episode. I would like to offer a small correction about Percy and the twins. Percy took his niece at the end of Prisoner of Ascaban, so he is finished with Hogwarts. So Percy graduated at the end of Prisoner of Ascaban. The twins are now six years as they took their owls in prisoner of Ascaban. So, yeah, so now Fred and George are like almost about to graduate, and then Percy graduated last year, and then Ron and you know everyone else is below them or whatever. So Percy is officially a Hogwarts graduate, and that makes sense now when we're going into these chapters, and he's talking about his new job at the ministry, and he doesn't want anyone to forget that he got a big boy job and you know his boss and all his busy nine to five shenanigans. So it all makes sense now. So thanks for that correction, Irene. Look, I uh this is only my second time reading the books. Like I said, I've watched movies a lot of times, so I'm not a Harry Potter expert by any means. I am a Harry Potter fan. So I don't know. Sometimes I get things wrong and I happily accept corrections over here because it helps you to understand the context of everything. So yes, but yeah, okay. We we kind of jumped into the chapter before I asked how you were. So how are you doing?
SPEAKER_03I'm doing good. I'm doing good. I feel very light this episode, and just kind of this week, I was telling Coda that I had more of a heavier, like emotional weekend. So just feeling on the other side of that feels really good. I've been getting more clients that I feel like are more my style, my speed, appreciate like what I bring to the table. I'm like, oh, this is perfect. So I feel very aligned and like like I'm doing the right thing. I recently got a massage yesterday from one of my coworkers, and the whole time that I was on his table, I kept thinking, wow, this man brings so much value to the table. Like I could pick his hands out of like a lineup if I was blindfolded, like this is real perspective. And then I left and I was thinking, you know what? My clients can do the same with me. Like, I really feel like I have a unique sense of style and I've kind of found my niche or like I'm finding it more. And I just left that session with a lot of confidence that I wasn't thinking that I needed, but it I feel very reassured in this moment. So I'm feeling I'm feeling nice and bright. How are you feeling? How are you doing?
SPEAKER_01I'm doing okay. You know, I'll beat myself up a little bit because something told me to put in my calendar the date you told me of the Lionsgate. I think it was August 8th.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_01I should have put it in my fucking calendar because next thing I know, I'm looking and it's August 10th. I'm like, fuck! I'm like, all my dreams and aspirations are gonna go to shit now. Like I did not do my manifestations and my blue. I was so annoyed with myself. Like, you know, it's not the end all be all child. Hopefully, the next is it yearly or is it like the end of the day?
SPEAKER_03The thing is, we're in eclipse season. We're in like huge changes. So the portal is open. It's not like a one and close. It's yeah, if you missed it, it's okay. Like, we're still in that August big change energy. Okay, just keep pouring you know your dreams into your path.
SPEAKER_01Okay, okay, all right, all right. But yeah, myself, I did miss a gay chat. I said, I can't make it to platform energy course is worth a damn. Um yeah, so but besides that, I'm doing well. I will say I was in Miami this past weekend visiting a friend, and it's just crazy how sometimes life choices will put you in certain places to meet certain people. And like, so essentially what had happened was my friend and I, I was visiting my friend in Miami and we're trying to decide on where to go. And at one point, we're like, let's just walk to this place, but then she's like, No, I really want to go to this place. Like, I'm familiar with it, it's good food. So, okay, let's go there. So we take an Uber there, we get there, we put our name down on the wait list. Well, I'll just talk of her business, but while I was putting my name down on the wait list for a table, this girl and this guy walked up to my friend and was like, Oh, we really like your hair. So they're just complimenting her, whatever. She's like, Oh, thank you. Like, here, and she was like pulling up the hairstyles to give to the girl. She's like, Oh, yeah, here it is, whatever. And then the girl that walked up to my friend turned the conversation over to, so I do OnlyFans, and my business partner and I were wondering if, like, you know, anyone that was like looking to collaborate, whatever. My friend was like, Wait, my friend was like, wait a minute, hold the breathes. Is that the trafficking? It really was giving that a little bit. And we were like, but I was I had walked away, so I didn't see that I didn't like I wasn't there for the interaction. But when I came back, just tell me we're like, so was a compliment to the hair just to like lure us in to have conversation with them, and then the role goes the OnlyFans. You know what I mean? Like 100%, yes.
SPEAKER_00That is the game plan.
SPEAKER_01That's the game plan, and the girl didn't even take down the hairstylist's information, so it's like she didn't really care what they did in the first place. She didn't give a damn.
SPEAKER_03She's just spread your legs and make me money.
SPEAKER_01So we were like, whoa, what the fuck? And my friend's not that kind of girl. No shades of the OnlyFans creators. If anything, I'll probably be more of a suitable candidate because I was wearing my short shirts and my crop top. It's Miami after all, child. What kind of stuff? Um, but so we're like, what is going on? So that was just interesting, but that's besides the point. But our tables are ready yet, so they sent us to the bar. So we go and we're standing by the bar trying to scope up the bar for his seats or whatever. And then at one point, like there was a there was we were standing in front of a table and there was a guy sitting there, and we were kind of like on top of his table a little bit, but it was only him, so like all the other seats were open. But like I had a chair on the back of one on one of his tables, and my friend, it was just kind of like if it was like us sitting at the table, we might have been like, Can y'all like back up a little bit? But so we, you know, just being the nice people where we turned to look at him and kind of just apologized, like being all up on the table. And you know, sometimes people just like once you make eye contact with them, like they're itching to talk to me. He's like a shark in the water. Yeah, no, literally. So as soon as he turned around to apologize, he's like, Oh, it's okay, you don't have to apologize, whatever. He's like, Oh, how are you guys? And then, you know, next thing you let's another, we just hit the you know, off to the races in terms of talking. He invited us to join him at his table. My friend and I, and she's a girl. Um we she invited us to join him at his table. And my friend's like, oh no, we don't want to intrude, you know, whatever. He's like, No, no, it's not an intrusion at all, whatever. And ultimately we're like, oh no, we're gonna, or oh, we got to touch our table's ready. So we're like, oh, our table's ready, but enjoy the rest of your dinner. So as we're walking back to the host stand to go get our table, I know my friend's like, my friend's like touring because she's like, Oh, she'd be down, but also she just wants to spend time with me or whatever. And you know, me, I'm always down for an adventure. You never know where the night's gonna lead, one night in Miami. And so I was like, come on, we should do it, like, why not? And you know, life is too short, whatever. So we're debating, debating, debating, and then finally I like coaxed her into joining him at the table. So then the hostess takes us back to him, and we end up sitting with him, and we end up having a full, our full dinner of the three of us there, and then he invites one of his friends, or or his friends is already on the way. So his friends joined us. So now it's like a full table of four, and we're just having dinner with these strangers that we just met. And it was a really nice dinner, like it wasn't weird, conversation was flowing, like everything was everything was great. After the end of the dinner, then the guy offered us a ride back to my hotel.
SPEAKER_03I'm stressed. I'm stressed. He's talking about my sister right now. She'd be getting right. I'm like, yo, you're making my blood raise or boil, whatever the phrase is. Yeah. Okay, keep going.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I'll I'll wrap it up. But as but basically, oh, also while we're at the table, I could tell that the guy was digging my friend a little bit, and she was just coming off of you know, some issues with some another guy. So I was like, this is a perfect opportunity to kind of like move on to the next person, whatever. So I was like, this is yeah, let's let's just keep this going. So, anyways, he gives us a ride back to our hotel or my hotel, and then we're just talking more. Everyone exchanges contact information. We're planning on hanging out again. He's like, he likes the both of us, like it's cool. So, yeah, it ended well. But I'm just saying I'm saying all this to say that if we had chosen to go to a different restaurant or we had gotten our table right away, or like any of that stuff, then we would have never met him and like his friend and have this pleasant evening in Miami. So it's just interesting how sometimes life choices can you take you in any direction. So, but I will say to anyone who's thinking about you know doing something adventurous, do it because you never know what it could lead to, like going out by yourself, having a conversation with a stranger, like you just never know. Obviously, be safe and stuff like that. It's uh Easter um when it comes to their uh safety, you know, or whatever.
SPEAKER_03But I agree with so you guys avoided, but they'll def shots, and then y'all ended up with like a friendly dinner. And did he did he take care of the dinner?
SPEAKER_01No, he didn't take care of the dinner, though we were expecting he would, but it was my friend's birthday, and at one point he had whispered to the server something, and he had told the server to bring out like a cake with sparklers or whatever. So he did that, even though my friend didn't want any hubbub about her birthday. It wasn't that day we're out, it was a few days prior. But so that was a nice gesture on his part to show a little initiative or whatever. So we'll see where things go. I think my friend is planning on meeting up with him in the future, and he wants me to come back down to Miami to hang out. So I'm like, we'll see. Really cool. Wow, yeah, no, so now let us introduce a new segment. It's kind of a segment that we've already been doing, but we're kind of just putting a name to it. And what is it called, Alicia?
SPEAKER_03It's called the Muggle Report because the way we break down hot topics in the Muggle world, we need a whole other segment for this. And then you guys can submit ideas for the Muggle Report for the week. You can DM us on Instagram if like you really want us to talk about a hot topic.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And I will say, yeah, like we we are Harry Potter primarily focused podcasts, but like we said, we always there's always things going on in pop culture and in present day, and that will kind of ground us and tie us to what's going on in the world and stuff like that. So I feel like it's important for us to kind of talk about the things that are going on in the world and stuff like that. So that's kind of what this is going to be now, officially, the Muggle Report, whether we talk about it at the start of the episode or at the end of the episode, just things that are going on in the world. And it's kind of like it's also a way for us to honor our one of our favorite talk show hosts, Wendy Williams. So that's kind of why we've kind of like culminated in doing this now. But yeah, so this is officially the Muggle Report. And today, Alicia, what do we have on the Muggle Report?
SPEAKER_03Unfortunately, to start us off, we have a Muggle obituary, we have a passing in the Muggle land. You guys probably already know what we're about to say, but our girl Hayden Peneteer has passed away. Hayden was born on August 21st, 1989, in New York in the Palisades, and she died August 16th of this year, this week, in Greenville, South Carolina. So she died five days before her 37th birthday. And it just makes me really sad. She had a younger brother who unfortunately took his life during COVID. So she's been dealing with a lot of grief and depression, and she's spoken out in certain interviews, like with that Jay. What's his name? Jay Preddy. Jay Shetty.
SPEAKER_01Jay Shetty, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Jay Shetty. Like she was kind of off with that. She's had like tumultuous abusive relationships that she's talked about in her book that came out recently. But we know her, we love her, we've grew up with her. I talked about heroes on this show quite a few times. That I it's one of my favorite shows, and she is like the cheerleader they have to save the cheerleader, save the world, and now our cheerleader is dead.
SPEAKER_01Like, yes. And just even thinking about the fact that she played two separate cheerleader characters between heroes and then also bring it on, all or nothing. Oh my gosh. Yeah. I mean, I mean, talk about a filmography, talk about just cultural impact for us millennials. For me personally, like, like I see like you said, heroes, bring it on, all or nothing. There was a show on ABC called Nashville that I used to watch back in high school. High school, I was really big in my cable TV show watching days. ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS. Like, I watched all the cable shows that came on at 8910, and Nashville was one of them. It was her, and then Connie Britton, and they played two country pop stars. Connie Britton was like the older one that was kind of like being pushed out, and then Hayden Pantera was like the younger one, I believe her country's name was Julia Bryant. And she was like the new one that was being put uh come ushered in, and they're kind of just butting heads. The show has a lot of great music on it, a lot of great country songs. Like, that's a show that kind of like I, you know, I'm open to all genres, but that show is like, oh yeah, country. Like, but yeah, so that was another popular show that she was on. And then finally, the Disney Channel show, Disney Channel movie that I was kind of familiar with growing up called Ice Princess. But it wasn't until Michelle Trachtenberg passed away. I was like, have I seen this movie from start to finish? I wasn't sure. So when she passed away, I decided to watch it fully to kind of like honor her. And of course, Hayden Panitari was also in that too. So now just with her not passing away, it kind of is bringing back up the memories of me watching that. So it's just like, uh, it's just, it's yeah, it's it's one of those, yeah, one of those deaths. As soon as I opened my Instagram and I saw, like, first thing was, I was like, I've gasped. Like, you know, there's certain celebrities that you just gasped because you just don't even think it's something that you're gonna be seeing, especially someone at such a young age felt like it was out of nowhere, felt like she was on the you know, up and up recovery, like road to, you know, doing better. So it just really made me sad. And Viola Davis, she put out a statement, and I just love this tribute quote that she said. She said, I wish the world had more time with you because I had a burning curiosity about who you were becoming. And it's something, yes, yes, you know, Viola Eva's poetic as hell, but it's just something about artists, people in general, but but people that die at such a young age, they're forever immortalized as this young version of themselves. You don't get to see what they would look like or be like when they're older because they die at such a young age. So it's just something for her, it's like it, yeah, it's just words can't describe. And I don't know, sometimes I feel weird being all like, I don't want to say parasocial about feeling these emotions about something I didn't know. But in a way, I feel like we did know them through their work that they had put out to share with us and the connection and the that it brought us and the comfort that it brought us in the times that we watched them.
SPEAKER_03So yeah, it's thanks for saying that quote too. And I didn't know that Michelle died until this week.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I had no idea. And Ice Princess, that movie came out around my birthday. So in elementary school, me and my friends went to go see it, and like my parents did like the pizza party thing that you used to do at the movies for the Ice Princess movie, and like to know that they're both like away, it's just really sad. It is.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, wishing her safe travels onto her next destination. But yeah, rest in peace, Hayden Pan is here.
SPEAKER_03Rest in peace, Ice Princess.
SPEAKER_01Let's get into the Harry Potter of it all. Alicia, are you ready for a whiz quiz for chapter five, Weasley's Wizard Weasis?
SPEAKER_04Let's get into it. Okay.
SPEAKER_01I feel like this this chapter, this title is definitely a tongue twister. Okay, it's just I'm gonna ask you five questions. What does Bill Weasley do for work? And he's the oldest Weasley sibling, the one with the ponytail and the earring.
SPEAKER_03Bill works at the at the bank.
SPEAKER_01At the at the bank is correct.
SPEAKER_03He's a Green God's banker.
SPEAKER_01He is a Green God's bank employee. That is correct. Okay. What is the nickname for Ron's pet owl gifted to him by Sirius Black?
SPEAKER_03Ron Ron's owl meant black?
SPEAKER_01No, so remember Sears Black gave Ron the owl at the end of last book, and he's in this chapter chirping around and acting a fool.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I forgot. I forgot that part.
SPEAKER_01Ron keeps calling him thing, is correct. What department does Percy now work for at the Ministry of Magic?
SPEAKER_04Can I use my notes or no?
SPEAKER_01You can use your notes.
SPEAKER_04You know what?
SPEAKER_01There are a lot of there are a lot of department talk in this these two chapters. Like, there's so many departments being thrown out there. So I will say the answer is the Department of International Magical Cooperation. But yeah, these two chapters are very department heavy. We have the Department of Magical Games and Sports, Department of Transportation, Magical Cooperation, and Proper Use of Magic. There's just so many departments going on. So yes. Okay, finally, let's see if we can get this one. What teams were playing in this year's Quidditch World Cup? What two countries, what teams?
SPEAKER_03I'm just gonna make this up. Bulgaria.
SPEAKER_01Okay, that's one. That's correct. And I can give you a clue for another one. Green.
SPEAKER_03Greenland. Oh, Iceland.
SPEAKER_01Well, no. I was gonna say Ireland.
SPEAKER_03Ireland.
SPEAKER_01Yes. The way you said Greenland so quickly, chat. That's hilarious. Okay. All right, not too bad. I think that was what 50% to two out of four. Okay. All right.
SPEAKER_02We keep the sanders low over here.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I know that's right. And without further ado, now let's jump right on into Harry Potter, the Goblin of Fire, chapter five, Weasley's Wizard Weases. I have to say it so slowly every time. Okay.
SPEAKER_03Alright, so from the last chapter, Harry and Arthur Weasley were about to apparatisize. How do you use that in the first form? We're about to aberrate and evaporate from the Dursleys and go into the Weasley's. So a whirling and a twirling Harry transports from the Dursley's basement to the Weasley's kitchen. Immediately upon his arrival, the twins want to know did Dudley ingest their special, let's call it their laffy taffy, that they left on the floor for him. Harry says that he did, and the twins happily tell him it was their invention called tongue taffy. Everyone laughed when they said, Finally, we got someone to test it. Bill and Charlie were also in the kitchen, and these were two people that Harry had not met yet, but sure had heard a lot about. And they joined in the family's laughter. Harry noted that Charlie was short and stout, kind of like his twin brothers, Fred and George. Harry knew that he Charlie lived in Romania since back in book one, Norbert Norbert the Dragon was sent to be taken care of by Charlie in Romania, and he helped them out quite significantly. Harry noted that Charlie actually had a burn on his arm, so I don't know if that's important, and just decided to write that down. Charlie was really freckly. You know those people that are so freckly, they look like they have a tan on them?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's kind of what that's Vibe of Charlie was. And then Bill was totally different. Bill was tall, athletically billed, and kind of of this wild card because, based on such a serious job at working at the Gringotts Bank, you would think that he would dress a certain way, but not at all. He had like long hair with a ponytail. He was honestly kind of cool. He had this dangling fang earring with these dragonhide boots. Like it gives very like who's that really out there basketball player from the 90s?
SPEAKER_01Dennis Rodman.
SPEAKER_03I was picturing Dennis Rodman, but an Irish redhead version of him.
SPEAKER_01Definitely some wrist to him, like some a cool factor, like Harry describes him. Like I think, and I from what I remember, Bill's like attractive. Like he's like, out of all the Weezys, he's like, yeah, I need that. Yeah. So yeah. Definitely give an older sibling. Yeah, it's redhead vibes.
SPEAKER_03And suddenly a pissed-off Mr. Weasley aberates into the kitchen and he has some harsh words for his twin boys. What the hell did you guys give him? His tongue grew four feet long before the Dursleys even let me help them turn him back. As we talked last episode, this was a horrible first impression between the Weasleys and the Dursleys, who already don't like the magical world. And then the twins say, Well, Dad, we just dropped it on the floor. How did we know that he was gonna ingest it? Mr. Weasley's like, Boy, you know this man is fat. Like, you know, this little boy is fat. You know he's on a diet. Of course he was gonna eat the candy. As the room left again, Mr. Weasley got even more upset. He's like, Don't you guys understand how bad it looks that I work at the Ministry of Magic. My part of my career campaign is to work against the tr mistreatment of muggles. And you're gonna do this in front of my face? Like that's not okay. The twins defend themselves and say it's not like we were discriminating against him because he was a muggle. We were doing that because he treats Harry so fucked. And Harry was like, It's true, Mr. Weasley. I'm a victim of bullying. Mr. Weasley's like, Mr. Weasley's like, even though that might be true, I don't want to hear this. And he's like, because I'm gonna go ahead and tell your mom. And just like a mother has like the perfect golden ears for when someone needs her, Mrs. Weasley walks in the kitchen, she goes, You're gonna tell me what, love?
SPEAKER_00Ooh.
SPEAKER_03And Arthur now turns into like just Arthur, not a father. Because he's like, uh, because he clearly didn't want to tell Mrs. Weasley and have to explain what happened because she would be so pissed and embarrassed.
SPEAKER_01Especially with what we know about what's been going on in the Weasley household with Molly and the way she's been getting on Fred and George about their shenanigans. Like, this is not gonna help their case at all when she finds out what she's about to find out.
SPEAKER_03So So Mrs. Weasley walks in and she's like, Tell me what, love. Mr. Weasley tries to cover by saying, No, no, no, I I already told them. I already I already um reprimanded the twins over it. And she says, Oh, does this have anything to do with Weasley's wizard Weases? With quite an attitude. Hermione, who is quick to pick up on social cues today, is like, guys, let's go show Harry where he's staying. And Harry's like, What are you talking about? I I've been here before, like, I came here before you, sis. I know where I'm about to sleep. But Ron is like, Yeah, let's all go. Let's go. And the twins try to say, Yeah, like we'll come with you. And the parents are like, not so fast. The parents halted that escape.
SPEAKER_01Harry, like, I feel like Harry of all people should know how to read a motherfucking room. Like, sir, don't you see that your friends or your friends are about to get reprimanded by the parents and it's time for you to politely excuse yourself in the room? Like, oh my god. I get it. You know, he yeah, maybe he's not used to being around family. I guess you know, him not having siblings, he's not used to seeing being around when your siblings are getting in trouble. Because, like, you know, me, like with my like if my if my siblings were getting in trouble, like you know, you you want to don't you like want to be there to witness it?
SPEAKER_02And if they make you leave the room, it's still too fun.
SPEAKER_01So Harry was giving, I want to be here to see what is, but her mom's like, come on.
SPEAKER_03See, that's why I always wanted more than one sibling. Because you get the dynamics because you could talk shit while the other one gets in trouble. I had a lot of cousins, so sometimes we would have that dynamic. Like my grandma would hit like two of us, but the rest of us were safe. Those are yeah, that was kind of nice.
SPEAKER_01I don't know, those dynamics get tricky though, because like I have two older sisters, and like they will butt heads a lot, but then they will also come together to be against me and my younger sibling too, sometimes. So then it's like it's like, okay, which one is it? Like, y'all don't like each other sometimes, but then y'all also want to fight with us. So it's like 2v2 versus like and then I have three sisters, so sometimes it's all three of them against me as the only guy, and then it's like it's just a weird dynamic, or it's like my Gen Z sister versus all of us, so she's not seeing what we're trying to tell her. Like, it's just so many dynamics when you have multiple siblings. But but there's also something interesting in your case when you just have one other sibling, where it's like there's only other one person for you to beef with, but there's also the only other person you have, so it's like you make up and then break up, and I don't know, so yeah, and all the things, and then there's like the triangulation, because sometimes it's like me and my sister versus my dad, or me and my sister versus my mom, or my mom and my sister versus my dad.
SPEAKER_03Like it's just always like a three-person triangle thing. Okay, so the twins unfortunately have to stay in the kitchen and get get ripped a new asshole, but the trio plus Ginny. Oh, because I forgot to mention that Ginny and Hermione walked into the kitchen. Ginny turns beat red every time she sees Harry. This always reminds me of my crush in middle school. I would just say her government, Adrian beep. And I went over to her house to do a project with her. She was Indian and Mexican, and that brother was literally on the guitar with his like amber golden eyes, singing, I can be a huge baby. And I walked in, I'm like, oh my god. I think that was the first time I ever felt my ovaries. I was like, what the fuck? So I felt like Ginny when she walked in and saw Harry in that kitchen. Like here, he's in my home, and I'm hungry.
SPEAKER_01The boy who lived, please awaken me, child.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, so now Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and Harry all make their way up all these crazy stairs. They have Harry's luggage with them, and Percy, Percy essentially interrupts them because he's trying to work at his big boy job. But Ron Hermione and Harry have quite a few questions about what is the Weasley's Wizard Weezers? Like, what is that about? And Ginny said, We have heard explosions coming from the twins' room, but we didn't really know that they were actually inventing things this whole time. And Ron and Ginny were both laughing as they tried to explain that the twins have this big idea, like this concept, of opening up a practical joke shop filled with their own inventions. And Ron and Ginny to seem to be quite impressed with their brothers because they're like, wow, you guys actually made a product, it worked, it turned Dudley's tongue like four feet long. Like it was successful, like, good for them. Apparently, had the twins also had plans for the next Hogwarts year to sell some of their products and had already collected order forms from their fellow classmates, but Mrs. Weasley found out about that and shut it down. She's really not happy with the twins already because they are spending all this time on nonsense in her eyes. And also they're owls, which stand for what again?
SPEAKER_01Ordinary wizarding levels. So it's just an examination. It's almost I was it's like it's an examination, like I wouldn't say SATs, but it's like a test, a test you take to kind of figure out where you're gonna go next in the wizarding world after you graduate Hogwarts. So it's the OWLs, you take that in your fifth year, and then you take your newts, which is like the step up from that in your sixth year, and then you kind of go off to your big boy job. So it is a big deal. So for them to kind of like strike that for this whole toy invention thing is not the best in Molly's eyes.
SPEAKER_03It's not the move. And their scores on this, these exams were basically like my scores. The average was quiz, not good. Not good. Yeah. So Mrs. Weasley confiscated all those order forms, shut down their entrepreneurial dreams, and was like, Yon are gonna focus on school, because that's why we send you there. We don't send you there to open up prank shops. So Percy enters the room, and he is he enters like the stairway, or maybe he opens his door.
SPEAKER_01I think they were making their way up to Ron's room, but you know, it's like a lot of four of them talking and stuff. So then, of course, Percy has to be dramatic and open the door is like, keep it down, or whatnot. And you know, Ron does not see for Percy, so he's like, child. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Percy's like, quiet down with all this ruckus. I have a big report due for my new job at the Ministry of Magic. We need to start standardizing cauldron thickness. There's been an increase of leaks, and unimpressed Ron says, Wow, that will change the world.
SPEAKER_00Cauldron leaks cleared him.
SPEAKER_03And Percy's like, listen, you can snare at me all you want, but we want to preserve we want to prevent shitty cauldrons from flooding the markets next year. So there's a purpose behind his work, and Percy will always find the purpose behind what he does. Like he's very internally motivated and driven, and so for him, that is like a good goal. Ron cuts him off, clearly annoyed by how meticulous Percy can be, and the group continues up the stairs to show Harry where he's staying. So Ron slams his bedroom door so that they can't hear Mrs. Weasley cursing out the twins anymore or Percy complaining. And Harry starts to scan the room. So there was in Ron's room, we've seen it before, but he has like quidditch team posters and they move and they're like on their broom, so that's cool. They have the little owl pig from the last book. He's kind of running around being a hot mess. And then now there are four beds smashed together because to make space for the older boys, Bill and Charlie, the twins are just up there with Ron, and then Harry has to have his own bed as well.
SPEAKER_01And Percy, of course, needs to have his own room because you know he has his big boy job that he needs to get rest for and work. I'm like, Percy, okay. They're there, the Wheelers are making do with their accommodations, but it's a lot of people in this house right now. It's not a lot of space.
SPEAKER_03It is. Would you have paired Percy with someone else? And if so, who?
SPEAKER_01I don't even think I would have had the choice. I don't think Percy would have allowed for that. I I feel like I feel like because Molly wants Fred and George to be like Percy in terms of being studious, getting a job and being all that, like she's trying to take care of her like golden child, so to speak, in terms of like my Percy needs his own room, he needs to get his respiratory. So I don't even think it would have been a possible. Like, yeah, I don't see Percy being able to room with Fred and George because I'll just be too chaotic. Bill and Charlie are grown, so they need to be have their own space.
SPEAKER_03I would have put Percy with Harry, but I guess it's kind of punishment for Harry that just came from the drive.
SPEAKER_01I will say uh Percy's birthday is August 22nd. What sign is that?
SPEAKER_02Virgo. Fuck. And you knew it, too.
SPEAKER_01I was afraid you're gonna say that.
SPEAKER_03It's in between, but I'm pretty sure it's let me look this up.
SPEAKER_01Shit. I was like, I know, okay, it's Leo Virgo, but which one is it? Dang, that means Leo's end on August 21st.
unknownOh.
SPEAKER_03Usually the signs end on the 21st, 22nd around there. So he could be a cuspy if you believe in those.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03I'm a cusp.
SPEAKER_01Okay. Cause I don't know. I was thinking, like, okay, he's giving Virgo with some of his behavior, but I could also see Leo for him, also. But I mean, if he's a Virgo, I'll probably claim him to be join me and Hermione and I, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03He's a Leo.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_03Okay, it says August 22nd falls under the sign of Leo, representing the final day of the traditional Leo date range between July 23rd and August 22nd. Because it's right on the border, they could be considered a Leo and Virgo cusp.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03Blending Leo's fiery passion with Virgo's analytical edge. And I think he has a little both.
SPEAKER_01Yes, I could see that. Very passionate about his job and about his business. When he was a prefect, when he was a head boy, he was very like gung ho about doing a good job with those roles. But then he's also, you know, organized, analytical, you know, studious, all that stuff. So I can see both. Okay. All right, fair. Okay. That's your astrology moment. Okay, Percy.
SPEAKER_03As Harry scans the room, he asks where Hermani's Crookshanks cat ass is, and she says he likes the garden view. So he's outside with the nose. Harry asks Ron how Percy is liking his new job, and Ron says he probably wouldn't have come home since he loves his job so much and he loves his boss, Mr. Crouch. But he had to come home for the Quidditch Cup. He says, I'm surprised he's not engaged to Mr. Crouch. The way that he talks him, talks about him so much and brings him his name up. I wrote down could this Weasley be gay? Gay for pay? I don't know why. I always want everyone to be gay. Ron begins to hey, don't act like it didn't work. Anyways, Ron begins to ask if Harry heard from his godfather serious. But since Jenny was still in the mix, he kind of cut himself off from saying that. And Hermione, who is taking more social cues, notes, hey, I think that Ron's parents are done. Like ringing out the twins. I think we should go downstairs and help for dinner. And that was good because Jenny was kind of giving a curious look to the trio. Like, what y'all got going on? And the group makes their way down the Ziggy Zag stairs all over again. Poor Percy.
SPEAKER_00Yes.
SPEAKER_03But at least they don't have suitcases this time.
SPEAKER_01Right. I do think Jenny needs some friends of her own. Like it's nice to you know that your older brother Ron is like letting you hang out with his friends and stuff like that. And I guess like Hermione's kind of like her friend too. You know, they're the two girls of the youngins or whatever. But I feel like Jenny, it wouldn't have hurt if Jenny invited was able to invite one of her friends over as well to hang out. That way she's not always like tailing around them because you know the trio got a lot going on. And yeah, so. But yeah, so yeah. So they all make their way back downstairs and to the kitchen to find Molly Weasley not in a good mood and flustered. Molly is directing them to take plates and cutlery out to the lawn as there isn't enough room in the kitchen for 11 people to eat. That's a lot of damn people. So it's nine Weasley's total and then Harry and Hermione. So whew, full house. So Molly is ranting to herself about her disappointment in her sons, Fred and George, talking about how they have no ambition and she doesn't know what is going to happen to them. And it's even more frustrating for her that they are smart, but they're not applying themselves, but they would rather cause trouble. And she's basically saying how she's had more letters from Hogwarts about them than the rest of the children combined. And if they're not careful, they're going to end up in front of the office of improper use of magic. And all of this venting is going on. Molly's pointing her wand at things as she's preparing dinner. Potatoes are flying out of the sink. Knives are like dashing across her room. Hearing her Ron almost have to like step out of the way of the knives. Like, damn, Molly, so mad at two pairs. You're so mad at two of your children. You're about to kill another. Like, relax. It's a lot. So she goes on to say she doesn't know where they went wrong with them, you know, standard parent phrase. And as she goes to pick up her wand or what she thought was her wand, it ended up being one of Fred and George's fake meow wands that turns into a rubber duck. And that even sets her off more. So Ron was like, that's RQ. Let's just take this cutlery out to the yard and off they went, leaving Molly and her motherly frustrations over her misfit sense. Now we'll talk more about Molly and Fred and George of it all in a bit. But just based off of this right now, do you see where Molly's coming from with her frustration when it comes to Fred and George kind of being these goofballs and not applying themselves? Or is it kind of just like, why not support your kids in this pursuit if you can see that they are good at it or they have some type of skill for it? Because it's not easy to do what they did when it comes to creating a candy that has this magical special effect and it actually works and not be harmful. So this could be a good market for them, but I don't think Molly sees it that way. Because I think for her, all she knows is, you know, going to Hogwarts, graduating with good grades, getting a job at the ministry, and you know, starting a family as, you know, typical, typical life path. So I guess this is just all new to her. Um, I don't know if she's handling it the best way, but what do you think?
SPEAKER_03As I was reading it, I was kind of going along with what you just said. Like, why can't you pour into your kids? Why can't you see that they have different gifts and like niches that they they could make something from this? Like just pour into them a little bit more. But when she mentions you guys could really get in trouble for misusing magic, then I was like, okay, this is serious. Like, there are serious consequences. I don't know if you can ever get your magic taken away from you or you're on probation or how that works. But knowing how these two like egg each other on almost, and like they're always saying yes, or always saying yes, they're not very risk adverse. And so they kind of need an anchoring force to be like, y'all, rein it the fuck in. But I do wish that maybe there could be like some sort of common ground where they could understand why she's concerned, but also say, you know, the owls are not everything. You know, I kind of think that like in this day and age, a lot of people now people know what influencers are, but like when influencers were first starting up, when YouTubers, content creators, I know a lot of them would be like, My parents don't support this, they didn't support this until the money started pouring in. So it's like you have to just believe in your path, know that you're meant for this, and like do the best that you can. And they're from different generations, they have different values.
SPEAKER_01Mother versus children, what can you do? Tells all the time. So, not a moment after they step outside, it's return of the crook shanks as he chases gnomes throughout the garden. We also have a loud banging happening as Bill and Charlie Weasley are making two picnic tables float in the air and bang against each other as they're trying to like knock each other out of the air. So it's not only Fred and George that have like this mischievous like goofball nature to them, because also Bill and Charlie, the two older siblings, they're also you know having a time. So it's just like, I don't know, the Weasley just have a little bit of like a lightheartedness, goofball nature to them, at least the Weasley men. So Molly just needs to ease the fuck up. Um my thoughts came out. So Fred and George are cheering, Jenny's amused, and Hermione's anxious, but also like laughing at the shenanigans. But there is one person that is not entertained by the shenanigans, and that one person, of course, is Mr. Percy Weasley. Percy Weasley pops his head out from his bedroom window, frustrated and angry, asking them to keep it the fuck down as he's trying to get his important work report done. And Bill Weasley asks how the report on the cauldron bottoms is going, and Percy says bad, and he slams his window back closed. I'm like, uh, okay, Percy. Okay, child. So that stops the fun, and they bring the tables back down to the ground and put it together, and it's time for dinner right around 7 o'clock. Now the table was full of all of Miss Weasley's wonderful cooking, all nine Weaslies, plus Harry and Hermani are enjoying themselves under the clear blue sky. Harry, most of all, I mean, after a full summer of living off the Deursleys diet that they're feeding Dudley, and you know, still cake that was being sent by, you know, Harry's friends. Harry said, Moy bien, bon appetit. I'm gonna eat good because, like, oh my god, he was having it up, and he was just like, he was doing more listening than talking. He was just listening to all the conversations happening around him as he was enjoying himself some chicken and ham pie and whole potatoes and sound like my boy was eating good. You love that for him. So at the far end of the table, we have cranky stank Percy talking about his report on cauldrum bottoms and just general, like talking shop about the ministry with his dad Arthur, who also works at the ministry. So kind of a little father-son bonding in that sense. Like, on one hand, I like that Percy is like grown into this young professional that's about his business. But on the other, it's like relax. Like he just graduated like two seconds ago. Like, I don't know. Like, I go back and forth with Percy, and like I said, we'll see him develop and we'll see what comes of it. But like, yeah, yeah. So Percy's telling Arthur how he plans on having his report done early for his boss, Mr. Crouch, as the department is very busy right now with the Quidditch World Cup going on, and they're not getting a lot of support from the head of magical games and sports, Ludo Bagman. And Arthur is like, well, I like Ludo as he's one of the, he's the one that got the Weasley's tickets for the World Cup. As Arthur had helped Ludo out with something dealing with his brother and the lawnmower, and who knows? So Percy's like, that's great and all. Glad you like him. Pops, but he's not good at his job, and that's what I'm talking about. And how he became the head of the department like beats me. And he goes on to say how it's crazy that a member of his department, Bertha Jorkins. Now remember, Ms. Jorkins was the girl that was missing from chapter one that uh Voldemort and uh uh Pettigrew were talking about. So this is the So big Bertha is dead. Uh yes, yes, essentially, even though they don't know that right now. So Percy's saying that it's crazy how that a member of Ludo's department, Bertha Jorkins, has gone missing for over a month now, and he's completely aloof, nonchalant, about locating her whereabouts. Now, Arthur says he's asked Ludo about it, and his response was that Bertha has gone lost, gotten lost plenty of times. And Percy now takes the opportunity to talk shit about Bertha, saying that she's hopeless and has gotten moved around from department to department, even having worked in the office he's currently employed in. And because of that, Mr. Crouch has taken an interest in locating her. But Bagman just keeps on with the joke saying that she might have just ended up in Australia instead of Albania knowing her. So yeah. Percy, like I said, you literally just got to the Ministry of Magic like two seconds ago, and you're already talking shit about people that have been working there for longer than you have. Like, I don't know. This is something about like you can't okay.
SPEAKER_03But but that is so real. Like, I have had coworkers, I'm like, you just got here. Don't act like you've been here longer than even a day longer than me. I've been here for years, like at the restaurants. They're like, oh my god, she always does this, huh? Like, you haven't even had one period since you've met her. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_01And I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_03I have a question for you. What is a better drag name? Okay. So this would be a drag king called Mr. Crouch, and this is Harry Potter theme neck. Mr. Crouch, or now a drag queen called Le Cauldron Bottom.
SPEAKER_01I like I like the Le Cauldron Bottom. I have something about, yeah. I don't know, drag kings. I don't like that whole idea. I like the I'll I'll stick to the I like the second sexist comedy.
SPEAKER_02Wait, what? Let's keep a ticker.
SPEAKER_01No, I'm just like, I like drag queen, drag queens and all their fabulosity. Like, let's keep it to the OGs, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_03So keep it to the men, is what you're saying.
SPEAKER_01The men that are no the men that are honoring women and their fabulosity and femininity, okay? Whatever. Thank you, thank you. I cleaned it up.
SPEAKER_02I don't know. Like, I think AOC could make such a cool.
SPEAKER_01I could see that. I could see that.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think you have to have the right vision.
SPEAKER_01I could see that. As you Darby on Real House of the Potomac was playing with that this past season or the season prior. And it was interesting to say the least. So I'll just leave it there. Okay. So Percy just goes on with his complaints, reiterating how his department has a lot going on without having this to add to it in terms of finding Bertha Jorkins. And now he clears his throat and speaks loudly enough to make sure that the rest of the table can hear that, especially with them preparing and organizing another very big event right after the World Cup. Now, Percy's like laying it on thick, talking about some, you know, the one I'm talking about, right, Dad? The top secret one. And I'm like, Percy's just the type of person that you can't like, don't let them get a good nine to five well-paying job with the senior title because they're just going to be acting so brand new, so quick. But whatever. Congrats. So you know, you know how Percy be working Ron's nerves. So he rolls his Ron rolls his eyes hard as hell and tells Harry and Hermione that Percy's been trying to get them to ask about the top secret event all summer long. And I feel like he's doing that just so then Percy could be like, well, I can't tell you. Official ministry business, whatever. But Ron's not banging into it, thankfully. So now we have in the middle of the table, we have Molly Weasley being a mom, of course, complaining about Bill's fang earring and asking him what do they say about him wearing that at the bank? And Bill's like, they don't care how I show up as long as I'm bringing them money and treasure. Okay, like I can look like however I want to look as long as I bring the bank money. And she then goes on to talk about how his hair has gotten so long and she wishes he would let her trim it. What is it with parents and they're wanting to cut boys' hairs, you know, if it grows too long? I don't know. I feel like that's always been a thing.
SPEAKER_03But also they act like we're their Barbie dolls. Like we are our own people. I'm so sorry. Yes, you gave birth, but I do the rest. Like I dress myself, I choose what I believe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I don't understand.
SPEAKER_01I feel like they never grow out of the time when they had to do it for you in terms of like picking out your clothes and making sure that you're well groomed. So once you get into those teenage years of like 13, 14 when you can start having some more autonomy over like what you want to wear, how you want to look, it's kind of like a but wait, I've been doing it for so long. Like, and some yeah, some parents are good at like letting go, and others like, no, I still need you to look like this or present like this. I'm like, yeah, like I'm not your Barbie doll. So, like, yeah, that's kind of how my oldest sister is with her daughter right now. She's only like two or three, but you know, she has a lot of cute outfits for her, you know, they match and it's all that. But I'm like, I'm just I'm a little worried about what's gonna look like when my niece you know gets older and like wants to have a little bit more autonomy. Cause I don't know, my sister's not, you know, she likes to control things sometimes. So hopefully, you know, I feel like it's gonna be that butting heads of teenage daughter and mom, but and I'll be the uncle that's on my on my niece's side chat.
SPEAKER_02But you and your niece against the world.
SPEAKER_01So we'll see.
SPEAKER_02You're like, I've had beats with her for years. I'm definitely taking her.
SPEAKER_01I understand how your mom is, trust me.
SPEAKER_02Um, so so you're like, thank god another generation understands the pain. I've been waiting for you, bestie. Let's go.
SPEAKER_01So now Jinny jumps into uh Bill's defense saying how she likes Bill's look and that Molly needs to stop being so old-fashioned. So I'm like, okay, Jennerva coming to her own. Like, shout out to you, Chamber of Secret 2. Um, so yeah, shout out to Ginny. So we also have a conversation happening between Fred, George, and Charlie about the Quidditch World Cup and who's going to win between Ireland and Bulgaria and other countries who were in the cup leading up to the final match. And we get mention of the star player on Bulgaria's team, Victor Crumb, also. So that's also going on. So now the sun has set. Molly lights some candles and passes out homemade strawberry ice cream. And Harry is truly satisfied with his meal, being surrounded by friends and family, and good conversation. I love that for him. The trio now finally have a moment to themselves, and Ron asks if Harry has heard from Sirius, and Harry replies yes, and that he may write to him while he's here at the borough. Harry then remembers what he was right to Sirius about in the first place, his scar hurting and this weird dream. And for a moment, Harry wanted to tell Ron and Hermione, but he decided not to ruin the peace and pleasant evening with more, I think someone's trying to kill me, hijinks. And if Harry had told him and I was Ron and Hermione, I would have like let out a deep sigh, like, uh here we go again.
SPEAKER_04Here we go again. Demi Lovato song.
SPEAKER_01Like the school year hasn't even started yet. Someone, like someone's trying to get my guy, like, oh my god. Like, I'm sure, you know, I love their friendship, but sometimes I'm sure it's exhausting being friends with the boy who lived. Because my God, every single year, like we haven't got to Hogwarts here, and here you go talk about something that's damn ska.
SPEAKER_03And tying it back to heroes, like save the cheerleader, save the world. Like, you gotta keep this man saying, Oh my god. Save the keepers, save the wolves. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, oh my goodness. So the chapter ends with Molly Weasley sending everyone off to bed as they have to be up early, early, early to make their way to the Quidditch World Cup. So she tells Harry to leave his school list with her and she'll get it for him when she does all 30 of her kids' school shopping while they're away enjoying the Quidditch World Cup, as there may not be time after it's over because before returning to Hogwarts, because one year the match lasted five days. And Harry's like, Quidditch for five days, like that sounds like a dream. But Percy's like, absolutely not. I can't imagine being away from work for that long. My mailbox would be completely full. And Fred jokes that someone might put dragon shit in it again. And Percy's like, it was actually a sample of fertilizer from Norway. I don't think that makes it any better. And he goes all red in the face and he's embarrassed and saying that it was nothing personal, whoever sent it. And Fred whispers to Harry that it was, in fact, personal because they were the ones that sent it.
SPEAKER_04And they're always preying on his downfall. These fuckers.
SPEAKER_01And that is how Harry Part of the Goblin of Friar, chapter five, Weasley's Wizard, Weasley's end. Fuck, I fucked it up, but I'll ask hi. Weasley's Wizard Weasus ends. And we'll get more of the whole Weasley's Wizard Weasus of it all and how that continues to develop. But overall, a very interesting chapter. We start to see a little bit of infighting, like I said, between Molly and her two sons, Fred and George. We got the introduction of Bill and Charlie, so that was cool. And of course, we were gonna start to see some Percy shenanigans as well. So overall, very chill chapter for Harry, at least, in terms of just being able to eat good and be with his people. So I really like that for him. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03She gives us at least two chapters. Sometimes, I mean, we're already in chapter five, and we're still not at Hogwarts, to kind of build the foundation of what she's plotting. So we have this birthday character that we need to know more about. We see more of Percy's like separation from family or like the inviting, like you said. And then Ginny is also kind of coming into her own, so I'm excited for her new school year because this is now her third year, which it was really significant for the trio. So I think she'll have some some good growth. Can I say the announcement now?
SPEAKER_01Yes.

SPEAKER_03We're kind of doing some testing right now and everything. But it's there. It's there if you want to support us. We would love you so much for that. Yes. But it's gonna be great, okay? Yes. So yeah, happy 50th.
SPEAKER_01Wow, you just dropped that on me. I was I totally forgot. I knew it was coming, but I didn't even like think about it. And I, you know, lining up when like this episode's coming out, whatever. But 50 freaking episodes is crazy. Do you understand, Alicia? Do you understand the dedication, the time, the commitment? I mean, you guys have saw my little day in the life vlog I did, but that's just a little pre-but like the notes that it takes to you know prepare these episodes, plus the editing, plus the workshopping, plus just think about our very first episode with our bad Wi-Fi, technical difficulties, and just figuring out the logistics of it all. So, not us coming and like just getting right to the groove of things and even still having some starts and stops and rescheduling and cancellations. And I mean, 50 episodes is no joke. Like, yeah, I mean, I just want to give you a personal kudos because I'm sure it's not easy, like you're experiencing these books for the first time while also adding this feat of this creative pursuit also on top of it. And I'm just thankful. I I say this all the time, but I'm thankful too. I wouldn't want to do this for anyone else besides you.
SPEAKER_02Um, and my heart isn't beaming.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, and it's just it brings me a lot of joy doing this every week. And for alongside you, and for you guys, the listeners, and you know, hearing from you guys and the listener emails, the comments you leave on Spotify, the five-star reviews, people in person. Like anytime someone brings up Harry Potter now to me, you know, that's the first thing I bring up. Is I have a Harry Potter podcast, and then we start talking about it, and I share it with them, and then you know, they're all excited and impressed by it. And it's just like it's it's been quite a journey. It's been quite a journey.
SPEAKER_03And you've been the conductor because Coda Edits, yeah, he is the Virgo behind the mastermind of this whole thing. This podcast was his idea, and we've just been learning a lot, and whatever work I do, he does like double, and he has a very busy schedule with his European shenanigans, travel, work, acting school, but you still prioritize this space. And for next week, we're gonna be sharing some listener owls that have come through. Owl listening, what do they call it?
SPEAKER_01I'll just say listener letters at this point.
SPEAKER_03The listening letters that have been coming through have been so personal, have been so beautiful, and like we're so excited to share a particular one. And it's just really cool to see like strangers really do listen to this podcast, and we have had impact. And it's just like, what do you mean we've had impact? What do you mean we've been doing this for now over a year? What do you mean we have 50 episodes? Like it's very surreal, but really beautiful. And I just wanted to say I love you, and congratulations on 50 episodes, King Conductor Coda.
SPEAKER_01Congrats, Queen, grip, my grip under queen.
SPEAKER_03Like I was calling you a different name when we started this.
SPEAKER_01Like you are hilarious, though. Talk about the the name change, like I said, recording different countries. We've had apology, PR apology statements on your end, relationship developments on my end, and your end, I think.
SPEAKER_03And my end too, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, because he's yeah, yeah, we don't, yeah. But so it's just been it's just been a time, it's been a time. So yeah, and I love I love this time capsule. I love this time capsule. So when I do the best of episodes at the end of every season, I go back and listen to every single episode. So it kind of also becomes like, okay, this is going on in our lives at this point, and then this and this and this. So it's just very cool. It's very cool. Um, but thanks again. Congratulations to us, and thank you guys for listening and supporting us. Because best believe, if the viewership and the engagement wasn't there by episode 10, I would be like, all right, Lisa, let's just talk about this book on the side. We could just uh wrap this podcasting up. But let's actually know literally, literally, but because of your engagement and your support is what has kept us motivated to keep going. So just keep that up, and we will be at 100 and no time. But yeah, thank you guys.
SPEAKER_03All right, so next segment we have Keeping It Coded. In this last chapter, we saw that the twins are on their entrepreneurial journey. They wanted to sell certain products at school. When you were growing up, who was the entrepreneur in the class and what were they trying to sell you guys? Was it like the basic candy, or did you were you classmates with someone like very creative?
SPEAKER_01Well, I'm thinking back to elementary school, and I would like to say that I was the entrepreneur. Oh shit. Um, but it was a nonprofit.
SPEAKER_02Okay, commendable.
SPEAKER_01So basically, I think it was our English or reading class, I think that's what it was called back then. And we basically had to use book reports. And my like in my childhood home, like we had a library with full of books, like a whole bunch of books. And I think my parents had bought like a 50-book collection of like all the classics, like Oliver Twist, Great Expectations, uh uh Jane Eyre, like all those books, like I think they bought us like the kid versions of them. So they weren't picture books, but they were like kind of like the the reading level was brought down to like you know, middle school reading level or whatever. So I had like a 50-set collection of those books. And the cool thing about these books is like they had like a nice little synopsis on the back of them or whatever. So basically, when we had to do these book reports, I would just bring in one of those books for myself and like just kind of use that synopsis to like fill out the book report and just call it make it a day. I would read the books too, but you know, it just helped to have that little synopsis or whatever. You know, like again, these are like books that are like my teachers probably look at me like, what the fuck are you doing? Reading Jane here, great expectations or whatever. I was like, hey, I have the book right here. This is what the book's about. So then eventually, like I started bringing some in for my friends, and then it became like a whole class thing, and I was like bringing them in for my classmates on the low, and they were all using the books to kind of like fill out the book reports or whatever. I don't think my teacher ever caught on to it, but that was my little thing for a little bit, just bringing in those books for us to exchange and readers stuff, stuff like that.
SPEAKER_04So when you said non-profit, you weren't donating profits, you meant there was no profit.
SPEAKER_01Yes, there was no profit, right? Yes, bringing the profit. Yes, exactly. I was not making any money from this little reading scheme that I had come up with. But when you asked me that question, that was like the first thing that I came to mind. But also, a lot of people were doing the whole candy thing. I'm trying to think like candy, honey buns, all the you know, sweets, just the general stuff. I think I'm trying to think, I think that was the main, the main goodie that people were offering. But I think that kind of got played out eventually because in high school we had the school store that sold all those things, so like there was no need for like other people to be doing it, also. But I guess it kind of it's just more convenient if you're getting in the hallway in the in between class or something like that. But yeah, so candy and then myself.
SPEAKER_02Wait, that's really cool that you were able to you're increasing the literacy.
SPEAKER_01Yes, no, literally in the classroom. The kids used to read, child. The children are the children need me, okay? The children need me back in those classrooms, child, because they were and you needed that book back.
SPEAKER_02You're like, this is a library you are to return. I was like, your parents would be like, what do you mean you're giving the books away?
SPEAKER_01Where are other books? Yeah, no, I was not planning about getting my books back, but no, it served the purpose at the time. What about you?
SPEAKER_03My school, we had the Live Strong bracelets were really big, so people would sell like their knockoff versions of them, even though the the money's supposed to go to charity, so I don't know how that worked. I know in my sister's class, her friends would sell cellybands back in the day, like the elephant. She had one that had looked just like Dora the Explorer. I'm like, wow, this is so creative. But in my middle school, I went to school with this kid, I forgot his name, but let's call him Cesad. And he would you could pay him to write cards and drawings. So, like if it was like your friend's birthday, you would pay him and he would draw like a really nice message. You would write down like what you want to say. And I'm like, I know they do that in prison, but he was doing that in our middle school, and it was really it was really cute and wholesome. It's like he was having the skill and he would take his time, we pay him for his labor. Like it was like two dollars for the cards, but still, it was really nice. I never I never sold anything. I should have.
SPEAKER_01You were focused on your studies.
SPEAKER_02But thank you for playing, keeping it coded.
SPEAKER_01Alright. All right, well, now let's go on and just transition right on into our next chapter of discussion, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, chapter six, the port key. But before we do, Alicia, are you ready for another whiz quiz?
SPEAKER_02A double whammy.
SPEAKER_01A double whammy, okay? And I have faith in you. Just four simple questions. Question number one. What is the name of the magical object that is used to transport wizards from one spot to another at a pre-arranged time?
SPEAKER_03A pork key.
SPEAKER_01That is correct. Who did the Weasley family and company share a porky with to the Quidditch World Cup?
SPEAKER_03They shared it with Amos and his son Cedric.
SPEAKER_01That is correct. What a Hallerous house is Cedric Diggory in.
SPEAKER_03See, I knew I should have written that down. I just know he won the match. I'm gonna say Hubb Hubble Hufflepuff.
SPEAKER_01That is correct. And finally, what position does Cedric Diggory play on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team?
SPEAKER_03Well, according to the girls, everything. No, I think he is also a seeker.
SPEAKER_01That is correct. Woo!
SPEAKER_02So that means my grade average went up. Now I'm at 75%.
SPEAKER_01Yes, four out of four. The seeker and also the Quidditch Captain, but in terms of position seeker, yes. Four out of four, correct. We love to see it. That would be a great way to transition now into Harry Potter and Goblin of Fire, chapter six, The Port Key. Before Harry knew it, he was being awakened by Miss Weasley at the butt crack of dawn, as it was time for them to begin their journey to the Quidditch World Cup. This was one of those mornings where it's so damn early, no one is in the mood for conversation or talking or anything like that. Like, so everyone is just quietly shuffling around, shuffling along, getting ready for the day. I remember back in college, one of my college jobs, one of my friends and my coworkers, she always used to joke. She's like, Don't talk to me until it hits the double digits on the clock. So, like, even if we have to come in to the office at like seven or eight, she's like, uh-uh not until it hits ten o'clock. Let's just be quiet till then. And honestly, I kind of did not mind that at all. So, one thing about Molly Weasley, she's gonna be cooking over a damn stove. So she had the breakfast going, a pot of porridge was on the stove cooking. Arthur Weasley is also down in the kitchen dressed in what he deems as muggle attire, as they've been instructed to dress incognito or blend in. And Harry gives him the nod of approval as someone that's around a lot of muggles, much to Arthur's delight. Now, George is asking Molly where Bill and Charlie are, and she answers that they'll be operating later on, so they are just gonna be sleeping in. And Harry's like familiar with apparating, like, which is essentially like teleporting, but mostly from like adult wizards, like fully grown. But he's never known people that were like fellow Hogwarts students to be operating. So he's like, Oh, like I it's cool that younger folks can do it too. So Fred basically is annoyed and asks why they can't why they can't operate too then. And Molly retorts that they're underage and they haven't passed their official operating test. And she goes off to find Jenny and Hermione who hadn't come down for breakfast yet. Now, Fred and George, I would like tread lightly because you guys are already on the Outs with Molly, like your mom, so maybe you shouldn't be trying to, you know, start anything out this early in the morning. Like, okay, I'm just saying.
SPEAKER_02Like it's been 12 hours since your last incident.
SPEAKER_01And it's about to get rough again. So yeah. But I will say it is very convenient that Bill and Charlie and Percy, that as we're gonna find out, can operate because, like, uh, what do you mean I can just wake up, shower, and then just teleport to liquid draw cup, as opposed to like have to like go through this whole ordeal they're about to go through. But yeah, you you get to operate once you get to be a certain age and you pass the test. So, okay. So Harry being curious, ask about this test you need in order to operate officially. And author answers that yes, there is, in fact, a test and it's organized or overseen by the Department of Magical Transportation, and that department had to find a few wizards for operating without a license, as operation isn't easy to do, and when it's not done properly, it can lead to horrible consequences, as was the case with these wizards who ended up splinching themselves. To which everyone at the table kind of winced at the the word splinched, and besides Harry who didn't know what splinching was. But Arthur goes on to explain that basically it's when you're splitting your body, leaving one part of yourself behind in the place you operated from, and then leaving you essentially like unable to move in either place. So here you just imagine like a torso standing idle in one place, and then the wizard's top half in another place, so it's just not a pretty sight. So the wizards have to wait for the accidental magical reversal squad to come and fix them up, and ultimately they were fine, but they ended up getting a hefty fine, and they wouldn't be trying that again. So some wizards don't think it's worth the trouble of like learning the skill and having to go through all that and the dangers and the risk of risk of it. So they just stick to their brooms or their flu powders or you know their magical transportation besides apparating, even if it will take them longer to get there. So it's kind of just to east your own type thing. But Harry confirms that. So Bill can do it, Charlie can do it, and Percy can all do it, to which Arthur answers yes. And Fred adds that Charlie had to take the test twice with the little laugh kind of just clowning him a little bit, as Molly, of course, re-enters and be like, Well, he passed. So um, not too much. And of course, now Jenny and Hermione are also here as well. So George adds how Percy only passed about two weeks ago and he won't let them forget it, feeling the need to operate from his room into the kitchen on every occasion. And I'm like, okay, Percy. So, but honestly, like being able to just sit up in bed and then teleport yourself to the kitchen to be in front of the first to get whatever you want. I don't know. I could see, I could see the pro that also like, you know, get your stuff soon.
SPEAKER_04That is the laziest way. You're not even leaving the residence and you're still snapping and getting to the next place.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. But imagine being able to do that to like let okay, this might be problematic, but I don't care. But imagine like, it's like you wake up at like 10:15 and you really want a Chick-fil-A, like biscuit, chicken, biscuit, whatever. But you know, breakfast starts at 10:30, and like by the time I, you know, put on my clothes, get in the car, drive there. But imagine you just be able to operate right in front to the store and then you know, get the breakfast or whatever. It doesn't have to be Chick-fil-A, but whatever. But you know, it's just like that type of convenience, you know, is unmatched. But yeah.
SPEAKER_03I'm with you because I would 100% operate to the Trader Joe's because their parking lots are always a fucking mess. I know they they they will choose places with shitty parking lots because it's like cheaper rent and everything like that, and it's a way to keep costs low, but it is always a mess. So I would operate right into Trader Joe's. I will have all my bags and operate right on home.
SPEAKER_01Eco-friendly. I know that's right. I didn't know that. Okay, interesting. Okay, so Jenny is still half asleep, asks why they have to be up so early. And Arthur answers, it's because they have a bit of walking to do, and they're all like, we have to walk to the World Cup. And Arthur is like, well, no, but they have to walk to how they will be getting to the World Cup, as it's not uh it's not an easy feat for such a large amount of wizards to travel discreetly to this major wizarding event. Now, before Arthur could continue, he's interrupted by Molly screaming George's name, as she has apparently caught him red-handed trying to sneak something away with them to the World Cup. And George is trying to play innocent, asking Molly, like, what? What are you talking about? And she's like, Boy, if you don't, you better not play dumb with me. So what's she's like, what's in your pockets? And of course he lies and says nothing. She's like, Oh, really? And she casts the spell Akio, and which is like the summoning charm, and like things just start flying out of George's pockets, like several brightly colored small objects just all start coming out of George's pockets, and George is like trying to like reach for them, but they're all coming and landing right into Molly's hand. And basically, there are a whole bunch of the tongue toffees that you know, the ones that the gave Garsley. So uh, and Molly just starts going off about how she had told them to get rid of them. And the scene Harry is witnessing is described as unpleasant as Molly's just yelling, Akyo, Akya, Akyo, and Toffee keeps just coming from all pockets of both Fred and George, like their pockets, their butt cracked, their ear, like everywhere on them, and just like coming out of everywhere. Like, so Molly's just like pissed. She's like pissed.
SPEAKER_02Like, is one and the fact that they try to catch them while she's trying to take them away. Are you serious? Even more punishable.
SPEAKER_01No, really. No, it's like, okay, back in the day, you know, I you used to get beat, quote unquote, with a belt or whatever, and when you're a kid a bat as a kid, you know, like I don't it's like as your parent was beating you, like if you tried to grab the belt from them or like try to defend yourself from the whooping, like they'll be double punishment.
SPEAKER_02You just charge them up. Like now they got heroes.
SPEAKER_01Like, how dare you try to put your hand up to avoid this butt whooping? You try to grab the belt, like, oh god. What a time.
SPEAKER_03Don't grab the weapon, honey, because it's not going anywhere but return to senders.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so they are uh they're over it. It's not pretty. So both the twins are hella mad as they said that they have spent several months creating and developing these toffees. And I'm assuming after planning on taking them to taking them to the World Cup to sell them, like this is a very celebratory event. Like, people are gonna be looking to have a good time, turn up and play pranks on people. Like, this is a good money-making event. So, like for Molly to be busting up this financial revenue income is like is not a good look. But Molly continues to discard all of them, like just throwing them away right in front of them and adding what a great way to spend the last six months. Imagine if you had spent that time studying for your OWLs, perhaps you would have passed more of them. I said, Jesus. I said, Jesus.
SPEAKER_04This is about to be the start of their villain era because they're about to really not give up.
SPEAKER_01Well, I will say.
SPEAKER_04Can I tell you a story about Miermana?
SPEAKER_03So when she was in high school, this is actually crazy. Okay, allegedly, allegedly, she had drogas that her friend was gonna sell, and so she was holding them for her.
SPEAKER_01What was she gonna sell?
SPEAKER_03Drogas.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. Yeah, okay, you guys gotcha.
SPEAKER_03And my mom caught her. My mom took them to the police. Okay, and my sister was like, I was gonna make money from that. Me and my friend were gonna make money from that. You owe me the money.
SPEAKER_01You are not scared enough.
SPEAKER_02Like, I remember hearing that story. Like, what the fuck?
SPEAKER_01Wait, your mom turned in.
SPEAKER_03Allegedly. My mom turned into the police, and the police were like, man, like, we can't really see anything.
SPEAKER_01She turned in your sister and your sister's friend. No, she turned in the problem to the police, which is crazy.
SPEAKER_03And my sister had the nerve to get mad that she didn't let her sell it. She's like, I wasn't gonna use it. I was gonna make money. Like, now you owe me money because I don't work. Little sisters, the audacity on that one.
SPEAKER_01Who dare you don't let me be uh pursue my drug dealing error? Like, what do you mean?
SPEAKER_02Like, talk about entrepreneurship.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh, that is funny. All right, so yeah, so everyone's exit from the borough was kind of an awkward one as Molly was still fuming as she kissed Arthur goodbye. Fred and George just grabbed their bags and left the house without saying a word to Molly, their mom, mad as hell. And Molly, of course, still being a mom, she yelled out for the twins to have a good time and to behave themselves. The twins didn't even bother to turn back and acknowledge her, and they just kept on walking. And so all of the Weasley clan that were present, plus Terry and Hermani, embarked on their early morning adventure to the Quidditch World Cup. I don't like this. I don't like this. I don't like this when it comes to Molly and Fred and George. Like, I don't uh I understand parents and kids or their children not getting along in times, but like this world is so dangerous that they're living in that you just never know when it's gonna be the last time seeing someone. So, like for them, it's almost like how Arthur was getting on uh Vernon two chapters ago for not saying goodbye to Harry before he stepped into the fire. Like, this is your son, the boy who lived, you're not gonna see him for a whole year, and you can't even utter a goodbye. So, but I also get Fred and George, like being so mad with your parents that you don't even want to speak to them. So it's just it's it's a tough place to be in. You can tell they're very passionate about this toy prank, weasley, wizard, wheezes invention thing that they got going on. So for Ma to kind of just be trying to stop them at every turn, it can I can see how it can be frustrating because you would hope that your parents, your parents are the ones that are gonna be your champions, gonna be in your corner, your biggest supporters, and for them to be your biggest adversaries, it it can hurt. So yeah.
SPEAKER_03And the Weaslies are not rich. So God forbid me and my brother try to make us some money.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna take it there, but of course, here you go. I said, Molly, you should be happy that while they're starting to hogwards, they're trying to bring some more money into this damn household. Lord knows you could use it.
SPEAKER_03But like you wanna celebrate your my older brothers for graduating and then be employed. We don't even need to graduate to make money. But you took that from us.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so so as they walk, Harry takes the time to inquire with Ron's dad, Arthur, more about the logistics of the Quidditch World Cup, asking, how does everyone manage to get there and for the World Cup to even happen without the muggle detection? Arthur goes on to explain how it has been a logistical nightmare, but that's why they have dedicated departments at the ministry for the task. As it takes, as it's about a 100,000 wizards in attendance, and there's no wizard-only sites large enough to house all these wizards, and the thought of trying to fit everyone into Dagon Alley or Platform 93 course is just it just wouldn't work. So they found a muggle site, kind of think of like the Coachella Desert. Like they found somewhere that's kind of like it's in mug, it's in the muggle world, but it's a big enough space that they can kind of place like muggle protection spells over the air to kind of cloak it from muggles kind of like happening upon it. So once they had the site solidified, then it's about getting people there. So they stagger people's arrivals to the games. People with cheaper tickets have to arrive two weeks or prior to kind of like camp out and whatnot. Well, whereas like more wild people can just come like the day before, whatever, and whatnot. Some wizards even use muggle transportation like buses and trains, but not too many. And some wizards operate, but even with that, they have set up like dedicated operation sites so that wizards aren't just like teleporting onto like in front of muggles or like out in the public. And then finally, the use of port keys. Arthur goes on to explain that port keys are objects that are used to transport wizards from one spot to another at a scheduled time. And for the Quidditch World Cup, there are about 200 port keys placed all throughout Britain, and the closest one to them was atop Stoats Head Hill in the village of Ottery Saint Catchpole, very British sounding uh locations. So that's where they were currently walking to. Harry asks, What kind of things can be pork keys? And Arthur says pretty much anything, typical muggle objects, trash-like things that even at times, things that muggles wouldn't think to pick up. So they're walking and they're walking. Less talking now as they're out of breath from climbing this damn hill, but they finally reached the top. They reach the top of the hill and they have about 10 minutes to find the pork key before it's activated and it's time to go. So now it's just a matter of finding it. So Arthur tells them how to spread out and start looking for it. And it was only a few minutes into them searching for it that he they hear a yell calling Arthur's name to let him know that the pork key had been found. And Arthur smiles, recognizing the man, and he makes his way over with the rest of them following behind Arthur to the two pork keys and the two gentlemen that were also here to take the pork key.
SPEAKER_03Mr. Weasley goes over to the other side of the hilltop and says, Amos, it's so good to see you. And they went to shake hands. Amos was shaking hands with Mr. Weasley, but in his other hand he held this moldy boot, which apparently was the port key. So, like Coda was saying, it's always something that a mogul wouldn't really notice so that they can get away with it. And it was noted that he had a very scruffy beard. Arthur Weasley explained to the group that this is Amos Dickree, who works for the Department of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. And y'all should know his son already. Cedric. The group says hi to Cedric, but the twins, who are already in a mood, do not acknowledge Cedric, which is really fucking rude because Cedric simply won the Quidditch game against Gryffindor. But Cedric was a class act, like if I remember correctly, Cedric was a class act during that time. Like we have seen uh Draco and his nasty comments, his nasty tactics, but Cedric simply just stayed on the broom. And so he won because this is the game that or the match that Harry fell. And Amos says, I wouldn't miss the Quidditch World Cup for a bag of galleons. And honestly, it it costs about that much this year. And he says, Oh, Arthur, are all of these kids yours? And Arthur says, No, Hermione is Ron's friend from Hogwarts, and this is Harry. And he goes, Amos says, Merlin's beard, which I think means holy shit in the magical world. He says, You're Harry Potter. And a bashful Harry, who's also kind of used to this, says, Yes, I am. Ama says, Oh, my son beat you in Quidditch last year. I told him he's gonna have to tell his grandkids that he beat Harry Potter. Cedric is like, Dad. I told you that Harry fell off his broom. And Amos makes it worse. He's like, Yeah, but you stayed on, so you won. One falls, one falls, one stays on. You beat him. You're the better flyer here.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god. Oh my god. Like, not like I understand. Uh I guess I was just talking about how a parent should be bigging you up and not being your op or whatever. But in this case, like time and place, like time and place, especially under the conditions that Cedric had one or beat Harry. Like, come on.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. This is I feel like it was very distasteful. And Amos and Arthur both say, Are we waiting on anyone else? And they're like, Nope. This is everyone. They form a nine-person circle and clutching the moldy boot together, Arthur looks at his watch and says, Oh, we gotta go. Three, two, one. Harry feels this jolt from his stomach, his navel, it almost is like a magnet towards the boot. And everyone is like broad shoulder around him. All the kids fall down like pinballs. But the two adults, the two fathers, keep standing up, even though they're a little bit woozy. And then from one moment to the next, they hear a voice that says, Seven past five from Stout's Head Hill. And the chapter concludes. Before this episode, two chapters ago, we uh rided or apartheid. We did an erasing.
SPEAKER_01Oh, they did they did flu powder.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah, from Privet Drive powder, from Privet to the Weasley's, and now they are key. A port key. So lots of transportation in the wizarding world.
SPEAKER_01Yes, yes. Magic, the magic of it all. I love it. And they have arrived at the Quidditch World Cup. So, yes, we will see all the Quidditch World Cup shenanigans in the chapters to come. But an interesting chapter. We we're getting new characters. We got Bill and Charlie last chapter. We're getting Amos Diggory. We met Cedric Digger, but now we're getting more of him in terms of him actually like speaking. And thankfully, like I guess it's a little bit of character personality coming off for Cedric and the fact that he was like embarrassed by the way his dad was acting. He wasn't kind of like, oh yeah, I did beat him. Like, you're right, dad. Like it was kind of like a dad show. Like, it's not like that. So it gets a humble, humble, I guess is the way you could describe him. And I think last school year it was described as Cedric is like the hottie around Hogwarts, like all the girls be crushing on him. So, you know, he's a looker, so yeah.
SPEAKER_02So he said, Daddy chill.
SPEAKER_01So we shall see how that goes about. But any final thoughts on this chapter, the last the past two chapters? It's two interesting chapters. My heart is the most, my heart is currently the most, you know, filling things for the whole Fred and George Molly of it all. So I'm gonna have to sit with that a little bit and hope that they can recover. And also, yeah, because I think from the Quidditch World Cup, they're going straight to Hogwarts. So Fred and George might not even be seeing Molly for a whole school year, especially if they don't reach out to her. So like it could be some time before they see her again. So I just don't like that that's the way they ended it. But what are you gonna do?
SPEAKER_03I'm sure she'll send him an them an owl. And then they're gonna ignore it.
SPEAKER_01They're gonna ignore it. So I don't know.
SPEAKER_03But that's okay. They're in their like rebellious teen era, and she knows she pissed them off. It's not like they're happy. I could I can see both sides.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And then imagine if now that they're back at Hogwarts, or when they get back to Hogwarts, they continue with the prank making stuff like at Hogwarts Child, that mom's really gonna have to come up there and bust off the party, child. That is really gonna be off to the races.
SPEAKER_03I would have been like, okay, you want to take that source of income, get me a scanner, get me the Moo Rooters map, and I'm making copies for this. And I'm putting in like the Times or something. I'm putting it everywhere. If you want more of this, contact the twins.
