Leah Scarmeas is the current Miss Heart of the South High School America 2025! Leah, currently finishing out her Junior year, has been involved in the high school america system since 2022 when she competed in her first prelim for SC HSA as a Freshman.
Leah’s platform “Rooted in Service” empowers Military Children to thrive! Her mission is To support, empower, and celebrate military children by advocating for their unique challenges, fostering resilience, and building a community of support through education, service, and recognition.
As a military child herself, Leah understands the frequent relocations, deployments, and the challenge of rebuilding their lives in new environments. She hopes to provide them with stability, support, and a sense of community-giving them “strong roots” no matter where they go!
