Why "know Surrender" it is taken from a pamphlet I was given some years back and is a play on words. "No Surrender" is of course a well know phrase but to "know Surrender" that is to surrender your self to the Lord Jesus, the Christ is more than a well known phrase. It is the key to eternal life.

In this podcast we examine the theological significance of the Nicene Creed’s declaration that Jesus Christ descended from heaven for the sake of human salvation. They emphasise that because humanity is inherently fallen and incapable of self-rescue, the incarnation represents a deliberate act of divine grace rather than a response to human effort. This pre-existence confirms that Christ is the eternal Son, whose voluntary humility in taking on human form provides a bridge between a holy God and a sinful world. Furthermore, the texts present this doctrine as a protective barrier against various heresies, such as the false beliefs that Jesus was merely a moral teacher or that salvation can be earned. By defining the scope of this mission as being for all people, the documents clarify that while the need for rescue is universal, the work itself remains exclusively a divine achievement. Consequently, the incarnation is framed as the essential foundation of the Gospel, ensuring that the Creator remains near and compassionate to His creation.
Welcome to Know Surrender—a podcast about learning what it truly means to surrender to Jesus Christ. Not in defeat, but in devotion. Here we explore scripture, history, and the call to follow Christ with heart, mind, and life. To know surrender… is to know Him.
