They're sucking up everything, bro. So this is new I saw a post about this new data center that they're building in New Mexico and there's like a A river near there and the river is just bone dry. This is this this building is so massive I think that this it takes like 75 million gallons of water every year to pull up the data Just I got insane bro. I seen a video cuz I never understood like how an AI data center is using up water Like that. I'm like it was machines. What the is hot. No, bro I saw a video of that cooling off in water and I was like a yellow car. So no, but they need to find another chemical That's crazy Any freeze uses that or glycol that's right. I don't know why they don't use that it's cheaper to use water Like a lot's like a long time like any freezer Long time think about it. When's the last time you change that interfreeze in your car? I Well now you just top it up There has to be a reason why they use water and it's cheaper. It's cheaper. It's not gonna be G You know this she's getting you know, it's running. It's running around, you know, it's running dry You know for real and like the every year bro, it's less water that we're getting as a whole so Look in California like they have like water restrictions and You don't realize how much water is being used think about New York Just just New York in general think about all the buildings in New York Out of ten buildings, maybe nine have cooling towers cooling towers I was like this big AC thing that it literally fills up with water Just a it's pretty much like a data center It just cools down the systems and it's hundreds of gallons of water that I should use each building in New York I wonder why they haven't done something like that or like even a big-ass AC Where's just taking air? They do is just that them data centers is like Rose. Yeah, they're big servers Gotta be a better way than wasting our water They're North Carolina is big for this. We've been a lot of jobs in North Carolina with like data centers and You I think that the we're finished one warehouse in North Carolina that just the The stuff is gonna go inside cost literally ten times more than the whole entire So what is it? What is this data serving like? that's where most of data is Process so like but from who though? So like in Piscataway, there's a big data center there they house. Yeah, they house data for Visa for Chase Bank for like different like Organizations and they just stage their data center their servers there They use water for cooling because it's one of the most efficient practical and cost-effective substance is available Really is not gonna be cost of if we run out of water how much like what's gonna happen? So but you can't make more water But then that's kind of not really true because think about it if it's really one of the most cost-effective ways Why don't why why don't we use that for cars? Cuz this is a That's a boiling point for water There's a boiling point for water, right So, you know, that's why you use antifreeze because that's a higher, you know a higher boiling point So like, you know and then water evaporates too So like to me to me, it's like I think that's like easy, you know, like they're coming out So they're saying that like oil could absorb Heat but it's more expensive heavier and harder to manage Refrigerant great for air conditioning system, but costly to circulate throughout an entire day data center liquid metal extremely effective But prohibitively expensive and difficult to handle safely air only Much less effective than water because air carries far less heat per unit volume It's a lot of water though because imagine that water is gonna heat up immediately Yeah, cuz like you don't have like, you know, like yo, we've all got computers, you know Like my computer like my computer boy, you just guess hot as hell bro editing bro your place Have you gotten closer your PlayStation while you have that on this? I have to open a window But like, you know the amount of freaking heat that you know GPU or you know or the CPU get that PC bug at that liquid cooler is true or get the air cool They should that you just dip it into the water cool. Yeah, that's a pain in the butt But like I feel like that, you know, that's the easy way out, you know, I'm just gonna use water I'm sure I'm sure if they're if they have the money to build these centers They have the money to do and I freeze or any one of those other cool Yeah, my money they spam bro billing, you know, just building this is insane They were actually building one over here. I should got cancelled because if now was gonna not have water this whole area But yeah, no is crazy. Like they got the money for it. They can find a better way They need to see like I'm like I'm like I'm cool you can do your data centers But you got to be self-sufficient. You can use nothing up from the grid. You can use your own electricity You can you can use a great electricity. You got to produce your own That means you got to put solar panels, whatever you got, whatever it is You got to figure out you got to figure out how to power it I you see you got a you got you know, if you're gonna cool it You can use you can't tap or water lines. You got to figure out how to cool your whole building, you know You know, whatever it is, you know, we'll give you you know We'll give you tax credits we that we're ready to give you anyways to work So we're gonna give tax credits. We're gonna you know increase, you know, some of the incentives blah blah blah But you gotta be self-sufficient if you want to build this data centers And then we're really gonna see like who's really like, okay. I really want to build into like, oh This is this just went up a hundred million dollars because now I have to figure out how to freakin power this whole thing I can't just use the grid. That's the thing. That's the other thing though The reason why our prices for energy has gone up so much is because of all these data centers They're coming at our expense. Yeah. Yeah, but they're going up at our I charged my car at home most of the time and like I think it comes out to a 29 cents per kilowatt Like so that's almost like that's almost as expensive as charging at us at a supercharger and in charging that a lot like a Tesla Supercharger supposed to be like the most expensive way of charging your car So like we're almost at that point was like you just keep increasing and increasing and increasing. I remember I remember when it was like I Mean a year ago when I got my car. It was like 20 22 cents 23 cents per kowat I just never understand Yellow all yellow. Yeah, you know what? How much I put it of gas today and my was halfway Your a key trying to sympathize with you until you said Half a tank I'd be waiting on Quanto at Costco 40 bucks 40 to now more. Yep Half a tank Get them on the regular that's Costco don't using premium cuz it really makes no difference More fuel efficient than your absolutely my That good old be full baby Shut the up. I'm also a $15 looking at I never understood the whole move to electric though if Why are we going all the way? Why are we trying to go like all electric when the grid we've mentioned the grid earlier? Like yeah, it can't handle all of it, bro. We can't know I really can't cuz like even if I think they're like at the position to one of like the I don't know who was like what the hell we pulling this power somebody somebody in charge from like the electrical grid or whatever and They asked like if ever if every American went electric can the grid handle No, it's like so what we need to have in order to like, you know We need a bit more data center You have to run like, you know more transmission lines and more Because then we get our energy like doesn't isn't our grid like in taxes something like that like our main grid It's the biggest one but it's up cuz like, you know like for that argument Yeah, I you know, I remember like Elon Musk said like if you grab I think I think I think it's like a 35 by 35 miles square and like in the middle of the desert and just Put just fill it up with solar panels It can power I think the whole United States or the whole world Just by just by that data area just filled with solar panel. You just gotta Run the lines everywhere after that. That's gonna mean it'll suck if you get a whole week full of clouds Yes, even in the winter How much maintenance is it really for solar panels we're having them I'm guessing just like clean them depending on The environment where you are you would probably have to do some maintenance. Yeah, what kind of maintenance? We haven't done anything change in the panels the rusting of the metal We haven't we got our panels installed Six years ago seven years ago. We haven't done anything to Do you be thinking that like a lot of these arguments they get to say that you know, like vehicle vehicles wouldn't work if we all had them it's coming from like these big oil companies Oh for sure. You know, I mean like at the end of the day, you know It's it's it's it's bad for them because they gotta sell the oil you gotta sell petroleum, you know, you got I mean I didn't they you can't The technology is not there to be at a mass scale yet until we get like more More like energy per Battery pack more like dense energy per battery pack like Porsche like Porsche has a their like their electric vehicle or tycan so I Know but like their their car when it came out like in 2020-2021, I believe it had like this What they call the performance battery plus and that was like 84 kilowatts in that battery pack And then like the new model year the refresh came out 2025 last year and the same car not no dimensions changed or anything now that same car has 95 kilowatts So they were able to pack more more energy into the same the same Area so until we get to a point where we can pack a lot more energy where Winter doesn't affect it, you know, like my car You know like she they should just do like how trains do it with the third line were on the street They should add like electrical panels. Yeah, where you travel and it charges your car Say if you put solar panels on the roof of your car, can't you just be charging it indefinitely? It's counterproductive It's not gonna be for the amount of so what's hybrid? It's a hybrid that make sure of electrical gas, but he's using a charge as you go I think it charges when you stop. No, I don't know. I think it charges when you like break yourself Yeah, so but you're creating your own charge in a sense. We're using gasoline to charge You know, it's just counterproductive. It's what you know, I can't it's high prices So you have a you know, the energy that you charge you can use it to not use it your gasoline But then you're using your gasoline engine to charge to recharge is kind of like You know, but there's there was a there was an article that talked about that there were I don't know I forgot where it was, but they were thinking about Building a road with like These hexagonal grids. Yeah, and they were like as you drive on that road. It will charge your car But then I know that in Japan, but I saw that solar powered Yes, it will be like oh, you know how you like you can do like wireless charging. Yeah your phones It's kind of the same idea in a way Another in Japan they have like these Unlike on the wall. It's like a walking path and as you step it generates energy They should do that in New York, bro.
