Crayons out, mics on, and a turtle to bring to life. We sat down with Memphys during the holidays and discovered how a simple colouring page can flip a noisy day into something calm, curious, and surprisingly honest. As the greens and browns filled the paper, the chat wandered in the best way: from treasure-hunting fantasies to real-world care for the little wild lives we share space with.

Memphys walked us through his holiday haul — a metal detector, a tiny plane-like drone, and a dig kit — and we mapped a day from lunch to the lake. Along the way we broke down how magnet fishing works, what rust does to the catch, and how to make smart choices if you pull up something you shouldn’t keep. That led straight to values: when to share, how to return lost finds, and why doing the right thing feels better than a lucky haul. Then came the turtles, dozens of them, shy and curious. We talked about feeding them safely, reading their mood, and rebuilding trust when people haven’t been kind.

Between colour choices and lettuce plans, we leaned into humour. Skeleton puns, frog gags, a butt quack groaner Memphys has heard before — the joke scorecard swung between groans and giggles, which is half the fun. We also celebrated small wins at school, teased out sibling dynamics, and prepped for a wedding walk with a toddler in tow. The day rounded out with a love note to local libraries: free podcast rooms, quiet creative spaces, and the kind of community setup that makes mindful habits easy to keep.

If you’re feeling fried, take this as your sign: put a colouring book on the table, throw a game on in the background, and let your hands lead your mind back to steady. Press play, then tell us your favourite low-tech reset, and don’t forget to follow, share with a friend, and leave a quick review so more people find their calm.

Colouring And Holiday Vibes

SPEAKER_01

Well, welcome to another edition of Beyond the Plan, and I'm here on the school holidays in or Christmas holidays with my mate Memphis. How are you?

SPEAKER_00

Good.

SPEAKER_01

Now, Memphis, we're doing something a little bit random at the moment. We're trying to do two things at once. Yeah. This is your idea. I like it. What are we doing?

SPEAKER_00

Colouring.

SPEAKER_01

So we're going to colour in while we're doing the podcast. So if I ask you a question and suddenly you aren't focusing, I'm going to have to ask you again. Hey, stop colouring in your turtle and let's talk about this. Now you've got a turtle in front of you. You're colouring in, like not a real one, just a picture of a turtle. Yeah. What colours are you going to do? You've got a little green on the outside like that.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

What's what's going to be the next colours you think?

SPEAKER_00

Uh I'm going to oh actually, hold on.

SPEAKER_01

He's got his colours over here. Oh, yeah, we've got it in the middle. We've got the can't see because I'm on a video podcast. But we do have the book. I've got one side, he's got the other side. I've got a big frog that he said looks like me, which is lovely. And Memphis has got a turtle on his side because he loves turtles. Yeah. You've got some little fish up there too, like four little fish to colour as well.

SPEAKER_00

So it just fixed it, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Nice. Okay. So what's your next colour on the turtle? Or what are you gonna cut? Which part of the turtle are you gonna colour next?

SPEAKER_00

I'm gonna colour the next wing with green again.

SPEAKER_01

Nice. Wing? Is it a flying turtle?

SPEAKER_00

No. I meant flipper.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's flipper. Alright. Alright, now do you find this like really relaxing colouring it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Do you?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I didn't realize how like I've heard of being mindful, but I know it's like this mindful. I'm almost falling asleep on colouring.

SPEAKER_00

I'm almost falling asleep from colouring. Well not really, but yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But you do find it relaxing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I find it relaxing.

SPEAKER_01

What other things do you do to help relax?

SPEAKER_00

Nothing really.

SPEAKER_01

Nothing. Do you find this is one of the most relaxing things to do?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, honestly.

SPEAKER_01

That's cool. That's I like it. So we got different colours here, and we're cutting on now. What what else have you done on the Christmas holidays? Let's talk about holidays while you do it there. What what else have you done?

Relaxation And Mindfulness Through Art

SPEAKER_00

Uh do you want me to tell you what I got or oh for Christmas, yeah. Yep. Okay, I've Okay, I've got in like a dig set thing for Christmas that that whenever I pick up like any material that I'm able to dig up of the shovel, I can put it inside the casket or whatever. Yeah. And uh I can shake it around to see if I get like gems or gold or diamonds, even.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we'll see, gold's not a very good colour, so if you get gold, just hand it over to me and I'll look after it for you.

SPEAKER_00

Right. Gold sells for like millions of dollars.

SPEAKER_01

Oh damn it, he's too smart. Okay, fine. Um, all right, so where about you plan on using that device?

SPEAKER_00

Uh any ideas we're gonna start looking for, probably forest, maybe, I don't know. Uh but there's another thing that I would actually like to bring to the beach one day. And that's a metal detector.

SPEAKER_01

You got a metal detector as well?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. You're really looking for the finances here.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I've also gotten a drone that looks like that looks very pi big in the picture, but it's actually very small and it looks like a plane.

SPEAKER_01

Isn't that illegal to go and look in people's yards and stuff with a drone?

SPEAKER_00

I haven't even used it yet. I've only had a look at it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, that's pretty cool. So you got a drone and you've got some a digger.

SPEAKER_00

I've got a Spider-Man money box.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, maybe you need to start saving some money because you keep paying me with fake money. You want to talk about that?

SPEAKER_00

I pay you real money if you just imagine it.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, exactly. We often get to the county boy our sushi or our milkshake and say, Yeah, but you want to pay this time? And he gives me some air money, which is unfortunately not redeemable for real cash.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So today we've had a bit of a morning tea together, and then we're doing a bit of colouring in. We're doing the podcast as we colour, which I think is a great idea by you. Two things at once, it's great. And what's next? What are we gonna do after this?

SPEAKER_00

Uh we will go to Cole's, get some things for lunch, we'll make lunch, and then we'll try and figure out how to rent or download or buy the Minecraft movie, and then we will go, and then after that, we will then after that, we will get some lettuce or something, we will go to uh a pond or sorry, a lake thing that has a lot of turtles, we will feed the turtles, then we'll go somewhere else that still has water, so like a lake or pond or something. Yep. Then we'll then we will um get um then we will um get a uh oh yeah, magnet fishing, magnet fishing.

SPEAKER_01

Now please explain to the audience uh what magnet fishing is because I had no idea what magnet fishing was. Is it fishing for magnets?

Christmas Gifts And Treasure Dreams

SPEAKER_00

No, it's uh you can you can fish for rare treasure treasures, yeah, or even uh uh stuff that is illegal, so like or guns or grenades.

SPEAKER_01

Too many TikToks for you. Oh it'll be too many TikTok watching for you. I don't think we're gonna find a gun upon it if we do. What would we do with it? Uh what would you do with it, honestly?

SPEAKER_00

Oh zero zero.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you would, you would. You do the right thing. So okay, so magnet fishing means you use the a rope with a magnet and the end and you throw it in the water and see what you can pull up that's magnetised.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Cool. All right.

SPEAKER_00

And if it's uh has a lot of rust, it either will stick to it goodly or it'll not stick to it at all.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

50-50.

SPEAKER_01

Have you used it yet?

SPEAKER_00

No. Only on I've only tested it on metal stuff hat.

SPEAKER_01

Outside the water. Yeah, cool. So we can try that today. Sounds like we're gonna be pretty busy today.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So we watch a bit of a movie over lunch, and then we're gonna do feed the turtles, do a bit of magnet fishing, and then it'll probably have to be time to drop you off, which is a shame. You know, time goes so fast together. Um tell me about. We talked also about maybe next time going to South Pink or something like that, some different bit of a trip on the train.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Trains are pretty cheap these days, only 50 cents for travel. We're pretty lucky.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We'll go in there and maybe look around there as well.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Should we take your metal detector there and what if we do that? And you you'd probably find lots of money in amongst all the beach over there.

SPEAKER_00

Are you sure we can bring a metal detector on the pl on the train?

SPEAKER_01

Imagine taking the metal detector and actually following the beeps and then hey, I think I've got some money here, and it's actually next to a person on the beach, and it's actually their wallet, but they're right there anyway. That would be weird.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

No, sorry. Sorry, sir, sorry, sir, sorry, miss. Or would you say, no, that's mine now, and my metal detector found it, so that's mine.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, I'll give it back.

SPEAKER_01

Oh no, you would you do the right thing. Now I don't know what's happening with this lily pad because I started doing brown and black in between, but I don't know if it looks that good. I might have spoiled this lily pad. We'll see what I can do to fix it up a little bit.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you're about to do four patterns, bro.

SPEAKER_01

Hmm. So what else have you got? You got anything else planned for the holidays?

SPEAKER_00

Um I have no idea.

SPEAKER_01

No?

SPEAKER_00

Oh, I have no idea.

SPEAKER_01

Did you end up getting your lovely lockbox for Christmas? I know you wanted one of those. You didn't get a lockbox?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

Maybe with the treasure you find you can use a made to buy a lockbox. I know you want one so bad.

SPEAKER_00

No, I don't.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_00

If I could buy a lockbox, I would lock up your lockbox.

SPEAKER_01

I love the lockbox. So you can't use it to put your phones away. Oh, that's funny. That's funny. And were you surprised by the gift I got you?

SPEAKER_00

What? Huh? Huh?

SPEAKER_01

The present I bought you. Were you surprised by that present?

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, I was so surprised by the uh podcast equipment that you got me. And this book, colouring in book.

SPEAKER_01

So good. We're actually using it. We're using all your presents today.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, I wouldn't say all of it because uh my mum didn't want me to bring the other podcast supplies, but yeah, it's okay. We have magnet fishing.

Plans: Movies, Turtles, And Magnet Fishing

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Um, okay, so we've got today organized, we've got maybe a next session organized in South Bank, do something different. We talked about maybe going to the museum if it's got some cool stuff there. I want to try and take it somewhere place we've got some turtles or replicable of turtles. Um looking forward to taking you to the turtles today because the other day when Rachel and I went, there's like about 50 turtles. I was trying to count them, I got to like 43, and there's like still more coming over. I like the little motorboats with their little flippers coming over and their feet head up out of the water excited as. So they were very excited to get some food.

SPEAKER_00

It's like it's it's bro, that that they're like, they're like, oh, when a Vogary comes around, that me just food time.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. Well, I think a lot of people unfortunately might throw rocks at those turtles or something because they've been very timid lately. They haven't been coming around, and when they when you walk over there, they put their heads down straight away and don't come back up. Whereas before that, they'd come up and know you're feeding them. So hopefully those people, if they've done that, have gone away now. I'm just presuming that, by the way, but but they're acting very scared at the moment, so hopefully they can be brave. What what to what do turtles eat?

SPEAKER_00

Lettuce stuff.

SPEAKER_01

Lettuce stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Well, I know it's lettuce.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So they're not like Memphis. Memphis doesn't like lettuce.

SPEAKER_00

Don't you dare, buddy.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I know you're gonna have chicken burger today with lots of lettuce, tomato, cheese, cucumber, no, chili.

SPEAKER_00

No, no, no, no, no. No, just a bun, chicken, bun.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that sounds delicious, actually. What about mayo?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

May you have mayo?

SPEAKER_00

What scary jokes of all time.

SPEAKER_01

You know what's been really upsetting lately? Is that the last two times we've seen each other, you're not laughing at my jokes anymore. You're like my family now, they just roll your eyes. Why don't you laugh at my jokes anymore? Oh, they're actually funny. Like, why couldn't the skeleton go to the dance?

SPEAKER_00

Why?

SPEAKER_01

He had no body to go with. He had no body? There we go, he's back. He's b I had to explain it, but he's back.

SPEAKER_00

Did you say no body or like no body? So like you mean like without the chest?

SPEAKER_01

Without the entire channel. Yeah, yeah, nothing.

SPEAKER_00

Oh I thought you meant like no wife.

SPEAKER_01

Why couldn't the skeleton do a bungee jump?

SPEAKER_00

Why?

SPEAKER_01

He had no guts.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I said, does it stop making jokes a laugh?

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. They're bad. Have you got any good jokes?

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_01

Do you have any good jokes?

SPEAKER_00

Why did the G Oh no why was the Yeah, thank you. Why was the why was the G afraid of Airy?

SPEAKER_01

The G? What's the G?

SPEAKER_00

The G.

SPEAKER_01

What's G mean?

SPEAKER_00

G.

SPEAKER_01

Or was the G afraid of Airy?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Why?

SPEAKER_00

Because it spells Gary.

SPEAKER_01

See, that's worse than mine by miles. That's terrible. That's like a D minus. Can you give can I give you a D minus, even though it's not skill time?

SPEAKER_00

I'll give you a D minus for giving me a D minus.

SPEAKER_01

Did you eat your report card yet?

SPEAKER_00

Do you see if I eat if I ate my report card yet?

SPEAKER_01

No, I said, did you receive your report card yet?

SPEAKER_00

I ate my no. I ate it, no. I I received my half year report card.

SPEAKER_01

And talk to me. Is it good?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I got like B pluses, A pluses, C pluses, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so there's a problem then. This is a problem. If you're a smart guy, why aren't you laughing at my great jokes?

SPEAKER_00

Well careful.

SPEAKER_01

You know there's careful what we're gonna say here.

SPEAKER_00

You know there's some people who in the world are funny.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

Most people in the world are not funny.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I feel sorry for those people who aren't funny. You know, being one of the funniest people in the world, I'd feel very sorry for them. Maybe I could give them some pointers and some tips. What do you think?

SPEAKER_00

Gary.

SPEAKER_01

Careful what you're about to say.

SPEAKER_00

You're one of those most people who don't.

SPEAKER_01

Excuse me? Oh my gosh, I can't believe we're gonna have to edit this edition of Beyond the Plan because he's just lying now.

SPEAKER_00

Not lying.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not gonna lie, Gary, you're the funniest. That's what you're gonna say.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not gonna lie, Gary is not the funniest.

SPEAKER_01

You tell me how to say that line. I'm not gonna lie. And you have to say it at the start.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, bro. I'm gonna teach you how to magnet fish. So you better respect me, don't otherwise I will pretend to be your military sergeant, okay?

SPEAKER_01

Okay, deal.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe better.

Jokes, Siblings, And School Reports

SPEAKER_01

I've got a question, but what happens if I throw in the line to do magnet fishing? Magnet at the end of the line, throw it in, and I'll pull out like a kilo of gold.

SPEAKER_00

Well, first you're gonna have to let me throw first.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, what about to teach you. Yep. But for my first time, my first turn, if I actually throw it in and get a kilo of gold, is that actually mine because I caught it? Or is it yours because it's your equipment?

SPEAKER_00

Technically, I mean it was caught by my I mean it was caught by my uh magnet fishing thing, but at the same time you threw it, so maybe we could share it, I guess.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, share it. Okay. What if we catch like a metal, like a um steel capped old boot? Does that mean you get to keep that one?

SPEAKER_00

Anything that you don't want, I suppose I'll have.

SPEAKER_01

So you'd like to keep an old boot.

SPEAKER_00

You know, the more old of how things are, the more you know what? I'm just not gonna spoil it.

SPEAKER_01

The more valuable they are.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So a bit like me.

SPEAKER_00

Um I mean, I wouldn't say that. Why?

SPEAKER_01

You just said the older you are, the more valuable you are. Uh-huh, I got you there, didn't I?

SPEAKER_00

No, you didn't.

SPEAKER_01

Now, another significant happen thing happening next year is your mum and dad get married.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, are you gonna come? Are you gonna come?

SPEAKER_01

Mum and dad might just keep it just like you know, close, close, close friends and family.

SPEAKER_00

So I don't care if they don't invite you, I'm inviting you myself.

SPEAKER_01

Are you gonna dress up in a suit? Oh no, you don't have to, do you?

SPEAKER_00

They're forcing me to go down to walk down the line with my baby brother, Rivan. Uh sorry sorry, not scratch that. Oh, yeah, that means they're making me walk down the line with uh my baby brother and uh my sister.

SPEAKER_01

Will he behave?

SPEAKER_00

Well, first of all, my baby brother is a toddl, probably a lot, and he can't speak also, so yeah.

SPEAKER_01

How old is Riven now? What's he about?

SPEAKER_00

Four, I think. I think he's four years old.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Do you guys get along very well or not?

SPEAKER_00

Uh my sister yells at him a lot.

SPEAKER_01

Gets frustrated?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, she gets frustrated by him, sometimes yells at him, no.

SPEAKER_01

That's what sisters and brothers do often.

SPEAKER_00

And hey, and Ebony, if you're watching this way, Ebony, if you're hearing this, you need to stop being mad at me. Because I'm just telling the truth. And I'm being honest.

SPEAKER_01

Ebony won't get angry at you. Alright, now here we go. I want to see Memphis's true opinions right now. I've just finished doing the lily pad that the frog's on with different colours. I'm colourblind, so I hope it's the right colours. I've got yellow, green, brown, black, four of them actually. Yellow, green, blue. And let's see, Memphis, what's your thoughts?

SPEAKER_00

That I need a bit of a rather magnify.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you. Because I'm definitely not very good at art, but I'm enjoying colouring in. It actually is fun. It's very mindful. So, people listening out there, if you're escalated stressed and you get an opportunity, get some colours out. At the last school I was at, I was telling Memphis, there's a lot of seniors even at that. We organized one day in the library to open up and people could do their colouring in. And it was like 28, 30 people, a lot more than six, seven, were there actually doing colouring in, and it was so cool. And I'd actually went to some seniors and said, Oh, isn't that boring? Like, don't you want to go out and have your some lunch? And they said, No, so this is actually so relaxing. And now I get it.

Libraries, Creativity, And Calming Strategies

SPEAKER_00

How am I making noise? I'm not even talking, and it's making me do noise. No, because I look, I'm not gonna talk.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not gonna lie. The light's going out. No, I can't see what's going on. I'm not gonna lie, I'm not making any noise. If I go outside the lines now, it's because I can't see because the lights are gone down, the centre light and the library's going out. People, if you're listening to this, get down to North Lakes Library or Kippering Library. You haven't been to Kabulch one yet, but they have free use of podcasting, and the rooms are unbelievable. So much fun that you can just relax in air conditioned comfort and just do some creative stuff.

SPEAKER_00

I also told Gary some about how good of a builder I am.

SPEAKER_01

We call you Bob the Builder.

SPEAKER_00

But there's one small negative problem about my building skills. I'm sort of bad with the roof because I I mean, like, I'm good at making roofs. Yeah. It's just the minor details about it is that like at the end there's always like a small platform that I have to make a pat pattern out of each time.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, pattern.

SPEAKER_00

But if the pattern doesn't look good, then you could either change it yourself or I could try to make it better.

SPEAKER_01

Does it make you frustrated when that happens?

SPEAKER_00

A little.

SPEAKER_01

Do you ever blow up deluxe? Do you ever get like really cranky and lose it?

SPEAKER_00

I do not know.

SPEAKER_01

You do know.

SPEAKER_00

No, I don't.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know where I do it? What? In traffic.

SPEAKER_00

Oh brother.

SPEAKER_01

But the problem is I'm still part of traffic, so it's my half of the problem is traffic.

SPEAKER_00

Your traffic.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you.

SPEAKER_00

For complimenting me.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, traffic makes me escalated and frustrated. I can't really get out my colouring book and colour while I'm in traffic because then I'll probably get booked and I'll have a crash. But maybe when I get home I can de-escalate by doing something like this for like even 10 minutes. Yeah, so people like there. Here's a good strategy to calm down. And even if you're stereotypically, I'm gonna be a bit of a stereotype here, where you think you're uh bloky bloke and go, Well, I don't cut in, it's a girly thing to do. Honestly, have a go. It's actually really relaxing. Even put the sport on in the background or we're podcasting at the same time. And it's actually really fun. Really fun. Now, how much longer are we gonna go here, buddy, before you start going out shopping? Uh are you still enjoying it or do you want to keep?

SPEAKER_00

I stop soon.

SPEAKER_01

What do you want to do? It's up to you. You have choice and control.

SPEAKER_00

Can we stop here now?

SPEAKER_01

Stop now, yep. Yeah. But first you have to comment on what you think of this frog having partly an orange back.

SPEAKER_00

Magnificence.

SPEAKER_01

Can I just colouring his butt before we go?

SPEAKER_00

No. Sure. Why does okay?

SPEAKER_01

Why does it make people laugh? When we talk about butt, why does it laugh?

SPEAKER_00

Well, it's because uh, you know, I'm not I'm not okay, no, okay, nope, just just do it, okay. Yep, whatever. I don't want to say it on the podcast.

SPEAKER_01

Do you gonna hear something really strange if my sisters hear this? This will be really weird, right?

SPEAKER_00

What? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But every Sunday when we were growing up, we'd go to church in the morning and then on the way back home, we'd have like a roast, like a roast veggies or roast chicken and stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And if we ever had the roast chicken, my elder sister Tanya, if you listen to this, yes, you know this is you, used to always want to have the chicken butt.

SPEAKER_00

What?

SPEAKER_01

The butt of the chicken. Oh, I can have a chicken butt, can I have a butt cover the chicken butt? And I'm like, I never wanted because it was like, I'm not gonna have chicken butt. What the hell? Which reminds me. Remember why ducks have feathers?

SPEAKER_00

Oh brother, another one of Gary's jokes. Why?

SPEAKER_01

To cover their butt quacks. No, no, I'm not, I'm not, no, no, no, no, no. No what? No, I'm not gonna do it. That's sad. That's a shame. That's one of my best jokes, and you're starting laughing at that.

More Jokes, New Year, And Next Colouring Picks

SPEAKER_00

Bruh. I laughed at it once. If I hear it again, nah.

SPEAKER_01

No good.

SPEAKER_00

I mean I I mean, maybe if I forget about uh no. Okay, so maybe sometimes if I hear the same joke again, I might laugh again. I have no idea.

SPEAKER_01

Hmm. But what about but what about if I tell you this joke?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know that frogs can tell you how deep the water is?

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

Knee deep, knee deep.

SPEAKER_00

Ribbit.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, you're not laughing at that one, tell you. Okay, my goal is to make him laugh before we go off the podcast. This could this could be a three-hour podcast. Here we go. Okay, um I'll tell you what I've told you before, right?

SPEAKER_00

There.

SPEAKER_01

That looks really good. You've done the outline of the shell through the middle, so it's all that's really cool. You press nice and hard on yours. I'm too scared to do that because I'll go outside the lines. I like that.

SPEAKER_00

Bro, I've done the green and the brown.

SPEAKER_01

It looks good.

SPEAKER_00

My bro, my right hand is hurting so hard right now.

SPEAKER_01

Your yours at least looks like real colours. Mine have got like I've got an orange frog with a different coloured, multicoloured lily pad. Um, remember this one? Why was the sand wet?

SPEAKER_00

Uh no, what why?

SPEAKER_01

Because the seaweed Yes! There it is!

SPEAKER_00

Oh disgusted!

SPEAKER_01

Okay, before we go, what is are you doing for New Year's? Do you sit up for New Year's? I do you see the new year in?

SPEAKER_00

I forgot.

SPEAKER_01

Are you gonna sit up for 2026 next couple days and sit up and go, I'm staying up to midnight, mum and dad, and I'm gonna Yeah, maybe. Yeah? Do you ever sit up for New Year's?

SPEAKER_00

I forgot.

SPEAKER_01

You forgot. You each year you don't know whether you sit up. I think we're gonna go up the top of a mountain and then look at all the fiber from up above. Get away from the crowds.

SPEAKER_00

Right. I've haven't even done the head. Same with you. And I haven't even okay. So here. Here's the thing. I've done the toes of the turtle. So the outline of the turtle's foppers.

SPEAKER_01

He looks cool.

SPEAKER_00

And Gary hasn't done the thumbs of the the thumbs of the frog.

SPEAKER_01

The thumbs. How many thumbs have they got? Nine.

SPEAKER_00

The fingers of the frogs. So that's actually kind of coincidental, because uh I'm doing the outline, which is kind of like fingers, if you think about it. But Gary's only done the inside of the fingers. So that's kind of coincidental. This is kind of like a like a finger, if you think about it, like the entire green thing here. But then this you only colouring on the inside.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. And then after we do these two, we will do.

SPEAKER_01

He's just going through the book here. There's lots of different animals.

SPEAKER_00

We will do what's it called the book?

SPEAKER_01

Cute animal colouring.

SPEAKER_00

Oh raccoon, that's cute. There's a one that I don't want to do.

SPEAKER_01

Rooster, cookaburra, rhinoceros, reindeer. Tiger lion.

Unicorns, Wheels, And Wrapping Up

SPEAKER_00

She called uh he called uh what's her name again?

SPEAKER_01

Uh Vanessa.

SPEAKER_00

Rachel.

SPEAKER_01

You'd get me in trouble.

SPEAKER_00

He called Rachel the tiger the lion.

SPEAKER_01

Because of the hair.

SPEAKER_00

A lion? Tiger and the lion. Uh and next time after the two animals, me and Gary will colour in a chameleon.

SPEAKER_01

That's a frog with a tail.

SPEAKER_00

And a pony. This is a pony.

SPEAKER_01

That's actually really cool.

SPEAKER_00

This is a pony, not a unicorn. Because if it were to be a unicorn, there would be a unicorn horn.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know why it's called a unicorn?

SPEAKER_00

Why?

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what the word uni means?

SPEAKER_00

Unity.

SPEAKER_01

No, uni. Uni means one. So it's got one horn. That's why it's called a unicorn. True story. He's looking at me. He doesn't know whether to believe me or not. It's true. Okay. Okay, what's a unicycle?

SPEAKER_00

A unicycle?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. How many wheels have a unicycle got? No, that's a bicycle. That's a quad. That's a quad. What's a unicycle? Uni means one, so it's got one wheel, a unicycle.

SPEAKER_00

A unicycle? A unicycle. A unicycle. A three. Three.

SPEAKER_01

That's a try.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

That's a tricycle.

SPEAKER_00

Oh my.

unknown

I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

He's trying to get me back. Alright. Well, I'm looking forward to going feeding the turtles. Having a nice big lunch. Yeah. And we'll see how many turtles there today. Thanks, Memphis, for coming on the show.
