SPEAKER_01

Thanks for joining us on Sunday, April the 12th, 2026.

SPEAKER_00

Let's get started. Waiters, welders, seniors, single moms, small business people should know that their votes count. They should know that when they vote for a party in a community, that the resulting elected MP will serve in that party and push forward that vision. Otherwise, people lose their votes. Mark Carney is saying to Canadians, your vote does not count, that he will overpower the decision that you made through dirty backroom deals that give him unrestrained power to raise your taxes and increase your costs and to pursue a liberal agenda that is the opposite of what he promised. He's fabricating a costly majority government through dirty backroom deals that liberal that Liberals did not tell Canadians about during the election and that people rejected. I feel badly for Ms. GLADU's uh constituents, the strong majority of whom voted for our Conservative vision of an affordable and safe Canada. In fact, and if I can be blunt, under my leadership, she had a massive increase in the Conservative vote in her riding. And she said that she was going to stand up for the conservative values of affordability and safety. Now she has joined the most costly Liberal government in Canadian history, going back on her word. She has said that members of Parliament that flip parties after they were elected, promising to be in a different one, should be forced to run in a by-election. I couldn't agree more.

SPEAKER_01

In fact, I believe that constituents in her riding and every riding should be able to petition for a by-election whenever a party First of all, I want to make it absolutely clear that there is no confirmed report that Pierre Polyev is about to resign. However, I'm doing this because the enormous pressure that Pierre Polyev is under and the test to his leadership is rising significantly due to the political sex and the internal party dynamics. Just when you think that things can't go more wrong for the Conservative Party and Pierre Polyev and his leadership, he just suffered another floor crosser, the Fort 1, this past week. Now his communications director, Kate Mayerfield, resigned. So another blow to his um conservative party, his organization, and his leadership. Here's another article from the Global News that confirms, and you can see the date, April the 8th, that uh Pierre Polyev, the communication director, uh seen as an agent of change. And this is all bad news that this the communication director, just after we had the floor crosser, literally same time, decides to resign her position in the uh party. This is not the first time that rumors or discussions have taken place regarding Pierre Polyev and whether he's gonna give it up. But the growing pressure from the defections, multiple conservative members of the defected to the liberal party strengthens Mark Gardner's position. Experts say that the trend is extraordinary and damaging the conservative unity. Liberals on the verge of a majority is just to the direct pressure of Pierre Polyev's leadership and credibility. And so this is not, this article here is obviously from November the 30th last year, but it was, you know, there's always been some kind of rumors, especially when he's going undergoing a difficult time. Um people right away look at what's going to give it up. This article here, you can see that it's January the 30th, 2026. Pierre Polyev, the most successful, unsuccessful leader in Canadian politics. Well, you know, if you look at it today, the polling gap has widened. Recent polls show that Kearney's 54% preferred as the prime minister over Pierre Polyev. Pierre Polyev is only 23%. The gap is fueling speculation about long-term leadership viability with Pierre Polyev. I mean, they keep key suffering these blows. Floor crossers losing the election, losing his seat, and now we here we are now we got internal staff resigning as well on top of people crossing the floor and going to the Liberal Party. I think Pierre Polyev has recognized the fact that he has to change his approach and how he leads, and he presents himself instead of a pit bull or an attack dog in the House of Commons. I think he's now changing, he's pivoted towards trying to be more cooperative and not be as aggressive as he used to be. But one thing I can say for her that that I like about him, and I also like the other leaders as well, but particularly with Pierre Pollip, is he knows his files, he's got his facts, he makes good arguments, he's a career politician, where Mark Carney is not. Mark Carney is a businessman and he has a lot of executive experience. But one of the things that's helping Mark Carney is obviously the terrif war. Pierre Pollier's leadership, he's been challenged on it before. He survived it, he uh won that by-election to get a CFAC in the House. He survived a leadership review with 87% internal support. So a lot of the members within the Conservative Party support him. And he is trying to change the people the perception people have of him. One of the things he did was go on to the Joe Rogan show to present himself to younger, a younger demographic, not only in in the United States but in Canada. He also exposed himself to uh American politicians as because he is a conservative and the Republicans are the ones that are in power right now in the United States. So he's doing, I'd say, 70% of the right things. He just needs to get more involved with the the premiers of the country. And he will weather the storm, he's not gonna resign. That's my opinion. And like any any typical situation in politics, there's ups and downs. Right now, the prime minister is still in that honeymoon phase. I think the Kuzma uh negotiations are gonna play a big factor in how things shape up the next couple of months for for Mark Carney. And I think Pierre Polyev is just sitting back waiting for Mark Carney to make a mistake, and then he's going to capitalize on that. And polls go up very quickly, and they also come down. So let me know your thoughts and comments regarding Pierre Polyev. What do you think of his leadership? What do you think he could be doing better? And uh, thanks for watching. Be safe, and we'll see you on the next one.
