Meet Dianna your Travel Stylist!

From honeymoon cruises to raising a well-travelled son, from expat life in Ecuador to volunteering in Israel my journey with travel has been anything but ordinary. In this episode, I share how those experiences shaped me as a travel stylist and why I believe every escape should feel effortless, meaningful, and styled just for you.

Hi, I'm Diana, the owner of Style 4U Travel, and a very proud travel, best bets connected agent. I just wanted to introduce myself to our beautiful community. You know, my love story with travel began long before I became a travel stylist. My husband and I set out on our very first cruise for our honeymoon back in 1992.

We were wide-eyed, excited, and ready to see the world together. Seven years later, when our son was born, it didn't take, uh, very long for him to become part of the adventure. At just 10 months old, he joined us on his very first cruise, and from then on, our family traveled together through every season of life from juggling strollers and diaper bags on board to celebrating milestones across the globe.

These experiences really shaped not only our [00:01:00] family memories, but my belief. In the fact that travel is one of the best gifts we can give ourselves and our children. You know, travel has taken our family far beyond the ordinary. We've been privileged enough to live part-time as an expat in Ecuador for almost 10 years.

We did volunteer work in Israel. We've explored countless destinations across Europe, the Middle East, south America, Africa, and beyond. These experiences taught me that the magic of travel isn't about, you know, checking off all those little boxes or rushing from one attraction over here to the next one over there.

But it's the laughter that was shared, a meal that you really didn't expect to love. [00:02:00] The quiet awe of watching a glacier calve from your balcony of a cruise ship, or the way a destination just ah, hits your heart and stays with you long after you've returned home. So becoming a travel stylist was a natural step for me.

For over 25 years I owned and worked in my salon up in Terrace, helping people feel cared for and confident. And it was there that I discovered how much personalization means when you really listen, you can transform somebody's experience completely and from. That philosophy in the hair salon, I've taken it into travel.

So today as the owner [00:03:00] of Style 4U Travel and a very proud travel, best bets connected agent, as I said, I bring together my passion, my expertise, and my lived experiences to style journeys that feel effortless, authentic, and. Uniquely designed around my clients' lives. So the main clients that I work with are busy professionals, active families, and purpose-driven adventures who need a break from the hustle, the stress of doing all the planning themselves.

Now my clients are not looking for the cheapest deal. But they are also not looking for the flashiest resort or the most luxurious of tours. They want [00:04:00] quality. They want travel that's meaningful and intentional and high quality. They want to spend their money on the items that mean the most to them. So whether you're running a business, raising kids.

Are simply craving more you time. My role is to take care of the details so you can press pause, reconnect and recharge. And to compliment my personal extensive travel experiences. I have invested an extensive amount of time into professional training. To ensure that I always provide my clients the highest level of expertise, I'm very proud that I now hold my accredited cruise counselor certification with the Cruise Lines International Association.[00:05:00]

I've completed training with leading suppliers across luxury cruises, tours, family resorts, river cruising, hotels, you name it. I have been working with suppliers to get my accreditations through them, so that means that every recommendation that I make my clients is grounded in both hands-on travel knowledge, and professional education, which gives you peace of mind knowing your vacation is in very capable hands.

So what makes my approach so different from everybody else? I design styled escapes that go beyond the itinerary. Sometimes that means a wellness inspired cruise where you can truly, um, recharge. Other times, it could be adding a cation package, which will let you explore [00:06:00] while keeping up with your goals.

Often it's just creating a balanced itinerary that allows you to relax. Connect and savor. Every moment I've developed a niche in styled cruise vacations, adding a personalized touch to one of the easiest and most rewarding ways to see the world, whether you're traveling solo a couple, or with the whole family.

I understand the balancing act of a busy life because I have lived it. I've been married nearly 35 years. I raised and homeschooled my son. I juggled, juggled, not one, not two, but three businesses all at the same time. And I have navigated the ups and downs of creating a family work life [00:07:00] balance. So that's why I design travel experiences that don't just fit your schedule.

They breathe life back into it. When I'm not planning travel for my home base in bc, you'll find me exploring destinations around the world probably running, 'cause I'm usually training for something or I could just be sipping my favorite cocktail, coffee or wine while knitting something cozy or you know.

Playing on my Nintendo Switch. Gotta get some gaming in. But just like you, I treasure the moments that I can step away from all the hustle and come home refreshed, connected, and inspired.
