You can find it on all streaming services. Um yeah, and thank you for having me. Uh this is an honor to be here. I'm gonna start with a song by myself called Goodbye. Um, and then we're gonna get some lovely talented musicians up here.
SPEAKER_01Left to ask for reasons why. You know time she never slows, and we surely didn't know that this would be the last time that we would ever talk and I cry 'cause you won't by my side and this would be the last time that we would talk, and I'm left crying 'cause you went by my side, you know the say life it ain't truly fair at times all is in despair, but we will carry on singing for our friends who've gone. Cause all that we can do is sing to and we'll how the moon when we think of you cause all that we can do is sing enough to how that we think lapes, bursian girls, oh lapes, por si on gueis, oh la pez, por si vous. Oh la pez, merci. Oh la pez, merci, goodbye.
SPEAKER_02This next song is called Shalom. It's about a very special place that my family had for 75 years, and it makes me think of the sound of the northern loon on the lake late at night, and how eerie that would be.
SPEAKER_01We all knew that this time was coming soon when we would sing for the last time with the northern loon. You know it's so damn hard to say goodbye so soon Since 1949. You know we served a lot of time, plenty of good times and beer and cheap wine. Where's the time gone? Oh, where's it gone? Shalom, you've always been a second home for us to roll a place where we are free to be who we wanna be, but more importantly, it's a place for family. It's a place where we find our peace. Yeah, there's no place I'd rather be. I think we all agree it's not just some other place. It's blessed with the spirit of the gust of sin's grace. How if seventy-five years come and gone Oh, things just quiet ain't what they used to be, except in the dissonance and the family harmony. Oh, I wish it were a breeze to set you free. Shalom, you've always been a second home for us to roll. A place where we are be to be who we wanna be, but more importantly, it's a place for family, it's a place where we find our peace. Yeah, there's no place I'd rather be Shalom You've always been a second home for us to roam a place where we are free to be who we wanna be, but more importantly, it's a place for family, a place where we find our peace.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's no place I'd rather be able to do it.
SPEAKER_01The elevations climb in, I thought it'd take more time to settle in the stands and keep this guy, me beat up by myself. I'm seeing all I need. Should it hide them, the best damn canyon of the land That big long rock ain't so blown right down the road In big water by boat The population has never been so strong Utah I'm coming to the rejects roam in the land of Nabo my home away from home I knew that I knew you all Utah I'm coming to with a rejects roam in the land of Nabo my home away from home I knew that I knew you along with the colour. Your time is gon' come soon, but it don't mean you have to worry this will be here till the morning bright when the fire goes out, when the stars say good night. Why do I be so far away from home? Say goodbye to all the ones you felt true, and you don't know what to say, you know what to do with you came through to the other side where the stars come out why do I be so close to home where the creatures roam look at you can run and you can I there's no way out till the morning bright till the fire goes out till the morning bright till the fire goes out you can run and you can hide, and there's no way out till the morning bright, till the fire goes out, till the morning bright, till the fire goes out. It feels like the waters beneath me. Now I'm heading down down the old boat.
SPEAKER_02Let's just restart. Sorry, I fucked that cord up, and we need to just speed up just a little bit. Sorry, just a little bit faster, okay? Sweet. Sorry about that. Alright, this next one's sitting on a ship.
SPEAKER_01Sitting on a ship up in my backyard, it feels like the waters beneath me. Now I'm heading down down the old road in the wind, is whistling so sweetly. So I wonder sometimes. I manage, I managed to get by in my own work in my own work every day. Gonna stop now. So I live my life the way I want to. Now my hair is great, so I wanna live sometimes. I manage, I manage to get by in my own work.
SPEAKER_00In my own work every day.
SPEAKER_01So oh I wonder. So oh I wonder. What if I wake up with a smile on my face? With a smile on my face, with a smile on my face, with a smile on my face, with a smile on my face every day.
SPEAKER_02And yeah, here we go.
SPEAKER_01Of working over time, tryna find a way to fill the empty pages of my mind. There's so much gone on all the time. I'm in a looking for where to fly out from the depths of your desire. Won't escape in time into the trenches filled with fire to find the supply. My mind is fried when will I find the time to sit and scribe? Exactly what is on my mind I'm doing time in the prison of my mind, the middle vine looking for the blind Up from the depths of your desire I wanna escape in time. How my mind There's so much gone on all the time, men I'm looking for with life out from the depths of your won escaping time, one escaping time into the trenches filled with fire to find out to blind I'm from the depths of your desire.
