Emma Cockshott
Emma Cockshott is the co-director of Treetops Devegetation Services, a busy arboricultural company based in Lancashire. After starting her career in banking, Emma brought her organisational and leadership skills into the world of trees, helping to grow the family business into a trusted name working with councils, housing associations, and private clients across the North West.
Emma manages everything from emergency storm response to ongoing council contracts, and brings a practical, grounded perspective to arboriculture. Passionate about sustainability, she’s a strong advocate for timber reuse, local collaboration, and building long-term client relationships.
As one of the few women leading a business in a male-dominated industry, Emma is also keen to see more women and young people enter the arb world — and believes early education and community outreach are key.
