Hello, everybody, and welcome back to another episode of ISM Radio. I'm your host, Gage, and we are here tonight at ISM's executive networking event in the library at the world famous Ohica Castle. And I'm sitting here tonight with Jordan White. Thanks for joining us. Of course, what's happening? Good to go up. Great to see you. You as well. Yeah, no doubt. It was great to uh hear good things from you in there. You know, you spoke in the circle, you let everybody know what you do. And uh EBS.health is the website that people can go check it out. That's the one, check it out. You want to tell them a little bit about what you guys do? Because it's pretty interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Sure. So what we do is we're a uh tax relief for business owners. Uh what we do is we save business owners tons and tons and tons of money just to incentivize their W-2 employees to take advantage of preventative care measures like telehealth, virtual, urgent care, pharmaceuticals. Want to keep them in the uh workforce and keep them healthy for longer.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Now, does this replace their existing health care?

SPEAKER_00

No. So we we deal with ancillary benefits, so we're not looking to replace the major medical that the uh employer does bring to the table. This is in instead of, uh this is in addition to, not instead of.

SPEAKER_01

Gotcha. Okay, so it's in addition to. And how does the program benefit the business owner?

SPEAKER_00

So that's actually a great question. So uh the the Affordable Care Act, which was developed in 19 in 2013, um came up with a program in order to take the burden off of Medicaid Medicare. So the only way that they can do that is to incentivize business owners. And how do they incentivize business owners? The only way that business owners can be incentivized is money. So they save a ton of money, it's roughly $650 per W-2 employees off of their FICA. Sure.

SPEAKER_01

Now, how long does it take to implement the program?

SPEAKER_00

So front to back from the initial um conversation to employee census to onboarding to enrollment, it depending on the readiness of the company and the size of the company, because that's important too. Right. Typically, right now we're averaging about 45 days from front to back. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

And if they were to head over to ebs.health, um, they're gonna check out the website and how do they get in touch and what do they do to get involved in the program? Is there a process involved?

SPEAKER_00

So typically there is a process. Now we are targeting business owners, but the majority of the benefits that we're getting and we're giving are for employees. So employees actually can't uh contact us directly.

SPEAKER_01

They can't sign up on their own. It's gotta come through the company. It's gotta come from the company, right?

SPEAKER_00

So and the truth is it's we the language that we use is that it's company sponsored because this is the kicker. This is really what draws everyone in. Right. There's zero net cost. It doesn't cost the business owner a penny, and it doesn't cost the employee a penny. The employee gets the lion's share of the benefits. They get, as I said before, the virtual urgent care, the telehealth, the pharmaceuticals, but we can range the gamut. We can do vision, dental, uh, short-term, long-term disability, life insurance, annuities, uh, accidental coverage. We can do it all. And it actually doesn't cost the employee. The caveat being the employer has to sign up for the program with us in order to get those benefits for his employees.

SPEAKER_01

Right. But if at the end, it benefits both.

SPEAKER_00

It does benefit both. It benefits everyone because the employees get to take advantage of ancillary benefits that they probably couldn't afford anyway, because uh most of the things that I just mentioned are post-tax uh deductions. So, you know, with the price of eggs in Long Island here, nine, ten dollars a carton, right? They can't afford it. They've got to decide whether they want the eggs or the guests, or do they want short-term disability? Not many people can see that far down the road. So we take the burden off of them and we get them those benefits at zero net cost. And this does a lot of things. Number one, it gets them the benefits that truly they deserve to uh uh elevate their their status in life to uh uh help with their future. But secondly, they get employ the business owner gets employee retention because not every business has this type of program.

SPEAKER_01

Right. Now, a lot of these businesses offer health insurance and health programs and different stuff. Again, not every American has health insurance. So it's this is a big problem.

SPEAKER_00

It is a big problem, it's a huge problem. Um, and it's put that's why I medic mentioned Medicaid and Medicare, because Medicaid and Medicare has bore the brunt of the cost for our. I mean, we're we're living longer, we're working longer, but we have the most chronic illness that we've ever had in history, and we've got more chronic illness than any other country in the world. So Medicaid and Medicare has picked up that tab. And if we keep going the way we're going, you hear it all over the news, Medicaid and Medicare is gonna be bankrupt. So programs like this were devised to take some of the burden off Medicaid Medicare.

SPEAKER_01

Right. This program bridges that gap the corporation and the employer and makes them both beneficial.

SPEAKER_00

Correct.

SPEAKER_01

So that you want to join and make it possible. So how do you get in touch with the corporations to get them involved and enrolled? What's the process?

SPEAKER_00

So there's a couple of different ways. Number one is I have an affiliate satellite program where because relationships are probably the best way to build any business as an entrepreneur, so I have an affiliate program where you can earn a really significant living with your referrals. So anyone that's in contact with decision makers at medium or large companies will get them involved and show them how to present the program in a way that is just a little taste, and then we set up the uh the meetings from there. That's number one. Number two is if you go to EBS Health and you're a large corporation, you can um sign up to get a um to have uh an appointment with myself or one of my associates.

SPEAKER_01

Right. So you'll actually show up to the corporation and meet with them, or is it something that they do online?

SPEAKER_00

Either one. You either we can do we do a hybrid. Some I like to shake a hand. So if it's local within tri-state area, I'll come out or I'll send one of my associates out, or I can do a Zoom. So we're we're in everywhere in the lower 48. So I was on a call this morning with California. Gotcha. So we're you know, it depends on where you are and what type of what type of referral it is. Right.

SPEAKER_01

So they can head over to ebs.health. And sign up there and fill out a form of some sort and get in touch with you guys. All the contact information is there.

SPEAKER_00

Probably the best way, that's a great way, but probably the best way is to a direct email. It's uh Jordan White at EBS.health.

SPEAKER_01

So it doesn't get any easier than that. No, sir. Very easy to spell, very easy to remember. Jordan White at EBS.health is the email address to reach out to Jordan directly and get in touch with him and figure out a way how you can get health insurance benefits for your employees. Absolutely. And it's a big deal these days.

SPEAKER_00

And save a ton of money. Let's not forget that. Right now, everyone wants to save as much as they can.

SPEAKER_01

What's the average cost of a health insurance uh for most Americans right now?

SPEAKER_00

Right now, it's uh it's funny to mention that because the premiums are roughly between 700 and 1,200 monthly. Monthly. Monthly for a single. Right.

SPEAKER_01

If you have a family, you're way over $3,000.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, it's crazy.

SPEAKER_01

And then what what is it costing a family these days?

SPEAKER_00

Uh upwards of three to four thousand dollars.

SPEAKER_01

Wow. Yeah. So you're talking about four. And that's not even top of the top of the $28,000 a year to cover the family to go to the doctor.

SPEAKER_00

Yep.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So we can't change the price of the premiums that insurance companies are charging, but I can definitely offset so you can leverage, and business owners can also leverage this program to offset their costs for those same programs.

SPEAKER_01

Sure. Now, key word you used in there was free, which got everybody that got everybody's attention. That was a big comment. That was a big topic in conversation in there. That was awesome. That really was. That was well done. We really appreciate that. Now, what do you think of the event here tonight at Ohica Castle?

SPEAKER_00

The event is awesome. I mean, not for nothing. Ohika Castle is iconic. Sure. Um, I love coming here in the spring and summer, smoke a cigar, have uh lunch or dinner out on the patio there. Yeah. Um on the terrace. You guys did a great job of putting this event together. There's a bunch of really, really solid people, business owners, yes, first, first is people. Solid people first, solid business owners on top of that.

SPEAKER_01

Right. And that's it. When you shake hands, like you said, you're here to shake hands and meet people like me and you. We shook hands. Yeah. And I told you about my school teacher that was Mr. White. We had some, we had a few laughs, and you know, and and that's what it's about, bringing people together. And you're right, there is no better place than at Ohica Castle. There is none. So I've been doing it. I've been doing entertainment in this place for two and a half decades. 25 years I've been coming here. Uh, I've worked with all the bands.

SPEAKER_00

Say that again. You were four when you started?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, no, that's John. That's the major D. He's been here for like 18 years, and he looks like he's 25, so like they were hiring at a very young age. No, me, I'm a little bit older, but at the same point, uh, you know, it's your compliment. I really appreciate that. Um, it's just been a great venue. You know, I've been here my you know, half of my life that I've been doing entertainment here in this place. Gary has done an amazing job. And we're blessed to have ISM's executive networking event here on a monthly basis to get people together to have drinks, sit here in the library. I mean, this place is iconic. And we sit here. I mean, I I was performing in bands that were performing over there in wedding showcases here uh just 15 years ago, right? Where they're standing with the cameras right now. The whole production crew is over there filming, me and you right now. And you're sitting here like your George Clooney under the big lights. And that's the big joke tonight, you know. So we had a great night. I thought it was a great event, and we really appreciate you coming down. My pleasure. Is there anything else you'd like to close out for the people on EBS.health?

SPEAKER_00

So the truth is that uh I would like to say it this is a tremendous opportunity to enrich the lives of your W-2 employees, to have a tax savings on top of that, and to bring forth something that's unheard of. The fact that we can do the things that we can do to mitigate and offset the costs of the rising premiums for people all across America is unbelievable. It it actually is one of the reasons that I love doing what I do now. I've done, I've been in several different industries, and this is where I'm staying.

SPEAKER_01

It's super commendable. It really is. At the end of the day, you think about what you're doing to help Americans, you're helping people and you're helping corporations, you're helping businesses.

SPEAKER_00

Well, that's which is going to stimulate our economy, which is gonna drive down if the economy is doing well, it's gonna drive down the costs, and it's gonna be even better for it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so great job by you. We really appreciate what you do and keep up the good work. Thank you. And uh I know you met some great people here tonight at this event. You know, we had some great conversations. Sure. So we appreciate you attending this event, and we hope to see you here for future events at Oweka Castle.

SPEAKER_00

We'll miss them.

SPEAKER_01

And I know me and you are gonna be in the studio back in Kank's Park doing some podcasts at North.

SPEAKER_00

100%.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, place is insane.

SPEAKER_00

It's insane.
