The Expat Bros Season 1 Episode 1

EPISODE 1 - “Meet the Artist Behind Msheireb’s Iconic ‘Echo of Lost Innocence’ Installation | Bachir Mohamad”

In our very first episode of“No Wasta Needed” podcast, presented by Qatar Day, The Expat Bros kick things off with a conversation that’s anything but ordinary — diving into how art is shaping the cultural vibe of Qatar. Our guest?! The one and only, Mr. Bachir Mohamad.

This  Lebanese-born, Kuwaiti-rooted creative is known for blending emotion, message, and bold design into unforgettable art. With a Master’s degree in the Archeology of the Arab & Islamic World (fancy, right?) from UCL Qatar, Bachir has been the engine behind some of Qatar’s most powerful art installations.  His latest project, “Echo of Lost Innocence,” featured at Barahat Msheireb, transformed this area into a space of remembrance, reflection, and philanthropic action — honoring the lives lost in Gaza with 15,000 small teddy bears that said more about the humanitarian crisis in Palestine than words ever could.
