The Brain Playground
Social-emotional learning that feels like recess!
The Brain Playground is a co-listening podcast for kids ages 4–8 and their grown-ups to enjoy together. Sensory-friendly and interactive, each episode sparks emotional growth through playful games, creative movement, imaginative adventures, and meaningful reflection.
Guided by your brain bud, Izby, the show follows a consistent rhythm that meets kids where they are and makes space for connection. It's a joyful reminder that every brain is awesome, exactly how it is, and every time we play, it grows a little more.

S1:E7 - Happy Habitats!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
In this calmer-paced adventure (great for bedtime or quiet moments), kids discover how animals—and people—adapt to new spaces, and learn to name what makes them feel just right.
Guided by their brain bud, Izby, kids will:
- Play a listening game, guessing animal sounds and learning fun habitat facts (snake, monkey, seal)
- Slow down to notice what makes them feel comfortable and calm, and practice tools to adapt
- Act out or imagine the moves of meerkats, bats, puffins, and crabs
- Share a special moment about where they feel their best—whether it’s cozy, creative, or with friends/family
