From Dawn to Doctrine
After extensive study of Christianity and as a follower of Jesus Christ, I am launching a podcast aimed at new believers, with the goal of educating both new and seasoned Christians. I will clearly explain the “whys” behind core Christian beliefs, addressing a gap in modern churches, particularly in the West. Many churches focus on the positivity of following Jesus, diluting doctrine to attract attendees rather than nurturing deep faith. This creates lukewarm Christians who often leave more confused than before. Church should be a place to learn about creation, sin, Jesus’ redemption, and God’s ultimate victory, not a cult of positivity. On this podcast we aim to fill the gap!

Episode 11: Death is not the end
For Christians, death often brings profound sorrow, a deep sense of loss, and sometimes even questioning of God’s justice, especially when reflecting on biblical accounts of divine judgment. However, this grief and criticism stem from a human perspective that fails to align with God’s divine understanding of death. In Christian theology, particularly within Orthodox teachings, death is not the end but a transition from the physical to the spiritual realm—a passage into a state free from pain, sadness, and ignorance, where the soul encounters truth, gains complete knowledge, and experiences true repentance and empathy. This episode seeks to comfort Christians mourning the loss of loved ones and those struggling with God’s judgments in Scripture by reframing death as God sees it: a doorway to eternal life, where the departed are in a better place, and our sorrow, while natural, should not overshadow their newfound joy in Christ. By exploring biblical examples, Orthodox teachings, and the writings of the Holy Fathers and saints, we can find solace in the eternal nature of the spirit and trust in God’s merciful plan.
