From Dawn to Doctrine
After extensive study of Christianity and as a follower of Jesus Christ, I am launching a podcast aimed at new believers, with the goal of educating both new and seasoned Christians. I will clearly explain the “whys” behind core Christian beliefs, addressing a gap in modern churches, particularly in the West. Many churches focus on the positivity of following Jesus, diluting doctrine to attract attendees rather than nurturing deep faith. This creates lukewarm Christians who often leave more confused than before. Church should be a place to learn about creation, sin, Jesus’ redemption, and God’s ultimate victory, not a cult of positivity. On this podcast we aim to fill the gap!

Icon Corner: The Story of Father Seraphim Rose
Welcome to From Dawn to Doctrine presents Icon Corner, the podcast where we trace the transformative paths of holy figures who bridge ancient faith with the chaos of their times. I’m your host, [Your Name], and today we’re heading to the sun-baked hills of 20th-century California to explore the life of a man who went from atheist intellectual to revered monastic voice: Father Seraphim Rose. Born Eugene Rose, he navigated the bohemian undercurrents of mid-century America, only to embrace a radical Orthodox asceticism that still challenges our modern world. His story is one of intellectual fire, spiritual awakening, and unflinching truth-telling—a reminder that even in the heart of secularism, the ancient faith can take root. So, brew some strong coffee, find a quiet corner, and let’s uncover the extraordinary life of Father Seraphim Rose.
