Hello ModernJeepers, welcome to Episode Number 60 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.
I just realized and can't believe that we have done 60 episodes! We know your time is valuable and hope we are providing some sort of entertainment as well as information for the hour or so you give up to spend with us!
This week, Matson, "Rockstar Jeep Girl" Jessy and myself brought in a special guest to get get us through the week with a little more knowledge about wheels than we had before. We are joined by the one and only, Mr. Greg Mulkey of Raceline Wheels. With a bunch of years in the offroad industry, 20 of those years with Raceline alone, building and designing the best wheels in the business, we are excited to have him on the show!
We get to go technical, with an in depth talk about cast vs forged, why air pressures make a difference, why some tires needs spacers for the beadlock ring, what's the difference between offset and backspace, and why the disco bump is coming back in style! We go so technical that we have even provided a few graphics to go along with this weeks show.
For our Tech Tip of the Week, Greg shares with us his Golden Rule and why we all need to follow it.
As always, ModernJeeper is extremely grateful to our supporters including Warn Winches, Raceline Wheels, Bestop, Milestar Tires, Rugged Radios, KMS Adventure Racks, and, of course, Metalcloak.
