Inspired by his love of transportation and a ride on a monorail in Germany, Walt Disney recruited imagineers, including Disney Legend, Bob Gurr, to help create a monorail in Disneyland. Listen in this week as we deep dive into the history of how the monorails we love today, came to be and share some of the stories around it's creation, testing and initial first run stories (one involving a former US Vice President)!
