Hello, beautiful sunshine, soul, and welcome back to Living the Livinty Way. I'm your host, Dr. Sabine Clarke. You Dr. Sunshine here to work beside you. As you remember, just how powerful, how wise, and how you already are. Today we are diving into something deeply important, something most of us were never really taught, but something that can completely change your relationship with your body, your emotions, and your past and your future. Today's episode is about healing, Not just the words you see on wellness memes. I mean really sacred, messy, beautiful, embodied healing, and more specifically, why it almost never looks the way you expect it to. Why it's not a straight line. Why that's not a failure. It's divine design. So let's take a deep breath together and let's walk into this truth. Gently, honestly, with a lot of grace, the myth of the straight line. Let's begin with a myth that hurts a lot of people. The myth that once you begin to heal, things just get better. That the path goes up, that it's linear, that you feel clearer, lighter, more vibrant every day. And if you don't, if you struggle, fall back, fell. Lost. Get triggered or feel like you are breaking again, then something must be wrong with you. So let me tell you the truth. That myth is not only fault, it's dangerous because healing is not a staircase, it's a spiral. You will come back to the same wound more than once. Each time you are meeting it from a different place with more awareness, with more strength, with more softness, with more self-compassion. Healing isn't a performance. It's not about speed. It's about presence. It's about listening to what your body, your heart, and your soul are asking for right now. There is a sacredness to falling apart, and yes, I know that sounds strange, but sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is let go of holding it all together. Tears are part of healing. Stillness is part of healing. Rage, exhaustion, quiet joy, laughter after crying, all a part of it. Your body knows how to heal, but it doesn't do it on a timeline that fits into your schedule. Your soul knows what it needs, but it often whispers instead of shouts. You may feel like you are breaking, but I promise you that's not the end. It's the beginning of the next becoming. In Chinese medicine, we see healing as a cyclical pattern. Just like the seasons, there's time to grow, a time to bloom, a time to release, a time to rest, and each part is necessary, especially the quiet, dark parts. Let's touch into the body now. Because healing isn't just emotional, it's neurological. When you have been through trauma, stress, or long-term imbalance, your nervous system often gets stuck in a survival mode. You may feel like you are always on anxious, overwhelmed, restless, or the opposite, numb, frozen, shut down. This is not weakness. This is your body protecting you. Healing means slowly, safely, and lovingly teaching your body that it's safe now and safe to rest. Safe to feel safe to soften. This is why healing takes time because your nervous system needs consistency. It needs breath, it needs. Gentle choices. It needs moments of safeties to begin opening again. And yes, you'll have days where it feels like you have gone backwards, but that's just a wave in the healing ocean. Let's rise. Let it fall, let it carry you. You are not broken, you are healing. So. How do you stay on the path when it's winding emotionally and sometimes so unclear. Here is the medicine I want you to hold. Celebrate the small wins. Sometimes brushing your teeth, drinking water, or getting out of bed is healing. You don't need big breakthroughs to making progress. Rest when your body says rest. The pause is not a setback. It's wisdom. Big one. Let go of comparison. Let me repeat this. Let go of comparison. Your path is yours. You are not late. You are not less. You are not lost. You are becoming. Ask for help when you need it. Healing doesn't mean going it all alone. Healing means allowing support to meet you and above all, come back to your breath again and again. It's the simplest, purest way to return to yourself. I have a personal healing spiral, and if I may, I will share it with you. There were moments in my life, many, and I felt like I had finally healed something, and then boom, a new wave, another layer, another pain, another shadow. And for a while I thought something was wrong with me. I thought I was failing until I realized. This is how it works. We shed, we rise, we spiral, but we are not going in circles. We are rising like a staircase made of light. And every time we revisit something, we bring more truth, more peace, and more grace to it. That's the miracle of being human, and that's the miracle I want you. To remind you today, so my beautiful sunshine, soul, if you are somewhere in the spiral, if it's messy, raw, slow, or confusing right now, please know this is sacred. This is healing. This is exactly where you are meant to be, and it's not linear. In the next episode, we will talk about your inner light, the part of you that can never be broken, lost, or dimmed. But for now, I will leave you with this trust to spiral rest in the becoming. Breathe deeply. Live fully and shine endlessly. Thank you beautiful soul for joining me today on living the Livinty Way.
