Hello, beautiful Iranian souls and welcome to another sunshine filled episode of Living the Levity Way. I'm your host, Dr. Sabina Clark, lovingly known as Dr. Sunshine. Doctor of acupuncture, lifelong joy seeker, and living proof that laughter and lightness are not distraction from healing, they are essential ingredients. Today's episode is one that truly makes my heart dense because today we are prescribing something so simple, so natural, yet so powerful, it can transform. Your entire body, mind, and spirit. Welcome to the Joy Prescription. How laughter, play and lightness heal.'cause healing isn't always heavy. It isn't always about digging deep or doing shadow work. Not that there is something wrong with it, but sometimes true healing feels like giggles dancing, silly moments and pure unfiltered joy. So let's take our medicine the fun way. Joy is not optional. It's biological. So let's start here. Joy is not free. Warriors, it's not a luxury. Joy is a biological necessity. Studies show that when you laugh, play, or experience genuine joy, your body responds with a flood of healing chemistry. Dopamine, the motivation molecule, oxytocin, the bonding hormone, endorphins, your natural painkillers, serotonin, the mood stabilizer. All of these combined, they lower your inflammation. They boost your immunity. They improve your heart health. They reduce anxiety and depression, and they increase your lifespan. Laughter, literally rewires your brain for resilience. Play reboots your nervous system back to safety and creativity. Lightness, lift your cellular energy field higher and faster than almost anything else. Translation here. Your body loves it when you laugh. Your cells are cheering when you play. Joy is the ultimate natural free medicine. Now, let's be gentle with ourselves because somewhere along the way, many of us learned to grow up, leave joy behind. We were told to be serious. We were taught that success means stress. We learned that emotions like. Joy are childish, silly, or not productive. But here's the radical truth. Joy is serious healing work. Let me repeat that. Joy is serious healing work. If you have been feeling disconnected from joy isn't because you're broken. It's because you were drained often, lovingly, but wrongly to prioritize pressure over pleasure. And guess what? You can unlearn that. You can reclaim your natural joy just like a muscle. You can strengthen it again. Isn't that fun? Let's dance between science and soul for a moment in your body. Laughter releases. Nitric oxide, A molecule that dilates blood vessels. Improving circulation. Lowering blood pressure strengthens your heart, both physically and emotionally in your brain. Play stimulates neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to create new flexible pathways. It helps you adapt faster. Recover from setbacks and solve problems. More creativity. And in your energy field, joy raises your vibration faster than meditations, affirmations, or visualizations alone. It naturally clears energetic gunk and brings you back into alignment. And in your spirit play laughter, reconnect you to your inner child, the purest part of your being who remembers how to love live without needing a reason. Your inner child knows that life is not meant to be endured. It means to be enjoyed. How to write yourself a dry prescription and take it daily. Well, all right, here comes your personalized joy prescription schedule playtime. I mean it schedule it because in the beginning you have to, it's like a sacred, because it is. If it's not in your calendar, it doesn't happen. Block time for. Dancing, painting, building Legos, baking cookies, roller skating. Whatever feels fun for you, play just as important as work and maybe even more. Laugh on purpose. Yes, even if you fake it at first. Watch silly videos, read jokes. Hang out with people who make you laugh until your sights and belly hurt. Try laughter yoga. It's actually a real thing, and it's amazing. Your brain doesn't know the difference between a fake laugh and a real one. So fake it until you make it. It responds by releasing the same healing chemicals. Either way, get curious like a kid. Kids don't need a five year plan to chase a butterfly or build a sand castle. Invite curiosity back into your life. Try a new hobby without caring. If you're good at it, wonder somewhere new. Let yourself be fascinated again and give yourself permission to be silly. Adulting is important, of course, yes, but so is silliness. Wear socks that make you smile. Make up a goofy song while you do the dishes. Dance while cooking or making your coffee play. Dress up with your pets if they allow it. Of course, silliness softens the edges of life's heart, moments and the practice joy, alchemy. Turn every day moment into a celebration. Light a candle for no reason. Play music while you cook. Send a random, I'm thinking of you, notes to your friends. Celebrate tiny victories like you just won the lottery. Joy isn't just found. Joy is created. You don't have to take my word for it. There are thousands of stories, real documented stories of people using joy, laughter, and play to heal cancer patients. So beautiful sunshine, souls. Today's prescription is very simple. Laugh more, play more. Lighten up without guilt. Choose joy on purpose every single day. Healing doesn't always have to hurt. Growth doesn't always have to feel heavy. You can heal through smiles. Stop again. You can heal through. Smiles just as powerfully as through tears.
