Hello, my beautiful sparkly soul sand. Welcome back to Living the Eleventy Way. I'm your Dr. Sunshine, and today we are talking about something that is near and dear to me. Topic of A DHD. Now let's get real. A DHD is often painted as a hyper little boys. They're bouncing off the classroom vaults. Well, let me tell you, there's a whole army of women, men, creatives, healers, entrepreneurs who are carrying A DHD quietly, often undiagnosed until midlife. Yes, I'm raising my hand here. For me, getting my diagnosis later in life was like someone is handing me the missing puzzle piece. Finally, all these over sinking, scattered, focused, crazy hyper creativity brain paired with, where did I put my keys? It all makes sense. From one second to another. So today I want to take you on a journey, what A DHD really is. Why it's not just about attention, and most importantly, how you can shift from frantic to focus these tools that are literally at your fingertip. Let's sprinkle some signs with sparkle here. A DHD brains are wired differently. We don't have less intelligence. We actually often have more ideas, more creativity, more big picture sinking the challenge. Dopamine. Dopamine is the motivation, reward, and focus neurotransmitter in A DHD brains, the dopamine highway is a little, well, let's just say full of potholes, so tasks that feel boring, torture tasks that feel exciting. We can hyper focus for hours like superheroes. A DHD isn't a lack of attention. It's inconsistent regulation of attention. Too many taps open in the brain, notifications going off everywhere, and sometimes none at all add emotional sensitivity into the mix. Mm-hmm. And it's no wonder A DHD often brings anxiety, frustration, or overwhelm. But here's the sparkle truth. When you learn how to regulate and support your nervous system, hey, your A DHD brain becomes your superpower. Let's talk real life. Ever start five projects at once and finish like none. Ever clean the kitchen instead of sending the important email Ever feel like you are emotionally reacting at 150% intensity, alos track of time completely. When you are doing something what you actually love. Well, that's a DHD. Frantic, scattered, sometimes funny, sometimes frustrating, but we are not broken. We just need the right toolbox. All right, here comes the good stuff. Tools at your fingertips. Acupressure points for focus and calm. Yin tang. The point between your eyebrows. It calms the monkey mind, the top of the head. Do 20. Clears the fog and lifts energy. Then kidney 27 under your collarbone, resets mental clarity. And then we have our breath work. Our breath is holy. It's magic. Inhale to four and exhale to a count of eight longer. Exhales, calm the nervous system and makes focus possible to save sigh. That's your vagus nerve Reset. Inhale long with an audible sigh out. Gives you an instant calm. And tap before you scroll, before opening your phone, tap your collarbones lightly and repeat. I choose to focus food as focus. Fuel protein in the morning is a dopamine support stable. The blood sugar stable, the mood and your attention. Hydration, oxygen for the brain. Then you have the mindful structure. Use timers, break task into micro steps and celebrate every win. Even the tiny ones. I have timers everywhere before I get ready on the day and my mornings here, there are like seven timers. One who wakes me up, one who tells me, okay, you. I'm breathing enough and sinking enough now you really get out of the bed and then I make my coffee. I'm moving here round, I'm stretching, and then I have the time, tells me I have to be done with my stretching and done with my coffee. I should be in the bathroom and in the shower I have an alarm who tells me, you should be out of the shower now and so on, and one who tells me, you better be in the car. So well there are helping tools and isn't just tricks. This is really nervous system regulation strategies. And when your system feels safe and steady, hey, your A DHD brain can shine. Let's do a quick frantic to focus ritual together. Close your eyes and place one hand on your belly and one hand on your forehead. Please don't drive. You need both hands to drive. Inhale through your nose and exhale slowly. This sigh. Let it all out. Now. Tap lightly on your chest, under your collarbones and whisper. I'm steady. I'm focused. And I am enough. If you are driving, when you're listening to that, you can take maybe one hand if you are safe with that and breathe and whisper. I'm steady, I'm focused. I am enough. Repeat three rounds and notice the shift. That's your A DHD Sparkle ritual. All right, if this episode. Little, little spark in you. I invite you into my mind Mastery Blueprint inside the Lty Academy. Then you will find the focus and flow guided meditations, acro pressure maps, printable cheat cards, and even. A DHD friendly journal pages. I built this because I know firsthand how it feels to carry A DHD both as a struggle and as a gift, and I want you to have the tools to outsmart the anxiety, boost your focus, and reclaim your power and sparkle. All right, loved ones that's our A DHD wisdom drop for today. Remember? You're not lazy, you're not ProCan, and you are not too much. Your brain is wired differently, brilliantly, differently. You just need the right tools at your fingertips. All right? Remember, as your Dr. Sunshine, I'm here to remind you. Don't forget your sunshine was in, and don't forget that focus is possible.
