Speaker 1:

Just make them dance, dance already. You make them dance, dance already. You make them dance, dance already. You make them. That's our idea. I'm gonna make you sing it.

Speaker 2:

Welcome, welcome to the real world, kids, welcome to the Los Enrique Show. Like always, we are all in your biz. Let's go.

Speaker 3:

Is this it? Yes, sir, what's up, what's up?

Speaker 1:

what's up? What's up? We all in your business once again.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we're back Once again, once again, back at that business.

Speaker 1:

Don't do it, don't do it. I hope everybody's doing okay out there. Yes, yes, yes, yes and staying cool, but just a hot flash going over. It is, it is.

Speaker 3:

And a lot of kids are back to school, yay.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, Keep your head up.

Speaker 1:

Keep your head up. I know the struggle is real. You gotta do it, it'll go by fast it will, it will it'll go by fast and all. So how you feeling? The last couple times we've been feeling under the weather I know I'm getting there.

Speaker 3:

I think I'm at like 90 percent now.

Speaker 1:

So I thought we was at 90 last time.

Speaker 3:

I think I was at 80 85, but this week I think I'm at 90 okay, so I so I'm getting there.

Speaker 1:

I'm about 92. Maybe it's the bad air, the bad pollution.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the air quality has been pretty bad and the pollen has been high and it's been really hot and dust storms. So all of those factors will result in somebody getting a little sick.

Speaker 1:

Just a little bit, but we're still back at it.

Speaker 3:

And we're still in your business. We're still in your business and we still in your business. We still in your business, you still in your business.

Speaker 1:

That means nothing. So who would be the listener of the week?

Speaker 3:

Oh yes, we do have a listener of the week this is I don't know if it's a female or a male. This is Sydney Green from Ocala Florida. Yes, Big up to Sydney Green. Thank you for being a loyal listener. We need to come up with our listener like a name for them. Yeah, we have to come up with something. So if you all have any suggestions, send us your suggestions so that we can refer to our listeners as such.

Speaker 1:

So you're saying listener of the week is that's elementary we need. We need to elevate.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we need like a little little nickname, a little term of endearment okay, okay, ghetto birds of the week no, like our nosy, nosy, rosy or I don't know something cute, we have to come up with something or we'll get some suggestions and then we'll make a selection definitely send us.

Speaker 1:

That'll be fun. Yeah, send us your suggestions and all and we usually get at the end. But where can they send the suggestions?

Speaker 3:

oh, I'm glad you asked all in your b I z z 25 at gmail gmailcom.

Speaker 1:

So you send us your suggestions and all.

Speaker 3:

What can we call our listeners?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, not listeners of the week. We're going to upgrade it.

Speaker 3:

Or just listeners in general? What do you want to be referred to?

Speaker 1:

Exactly. That's good, but so what's on your mind this time? Oh, yes, everything I say is going to rhyme all day.

Speaker 3:

Okay, okay, everything I say is going to rhyme all day, okay, so everybody is back to school, or a lot of kids are back to school. So I have been seeing some really, really fun vacation or trip pictures you know whether it's abroad or local great, great pictures from trips over the summer. Um, and I what?

Speaker 1:

no, that's funny. You talk about vacation. That's, that's that's funny.

Speaker 3:

Go ahead oh, okay, anyway, um, so yeah, I want to talk about like preparation for these trips not preparation H, but preparation for these trips and then like things that people do while on said trips.

Speaker 1:

That's funny. That's funny. That's funny. Can I? I want to raise my hand, Can you acknowledge?

Speaker 3:

me Sure go ahead.

Speaker 1:

Tell me this. So if you're going on vacation, you know one of the first things, one of the many of things, but it's definitely tough, even for me why do we go out and buy new clothes?

Speaker 3:

You know what? Because we like to be new, new.

Speaker 1:

But I mean the place you're going. They ain't never seen your old clothes. It doesn't matter. So I mean why when you go on vacation, you got to buy new clothes, because when you look good, you go on a vacation you gotta buy new clothes, because when you look good, you feel good and you always feel good in the new new.

Speaker 1:

I just thought it was just always been standard for me. You know you might go out of town. I don't care if I'm going to the next state over I'm gonna spend all your vacation money on clothes. Get something new, yeah you know now is that new like like, like. Is it just clothes, shoe, jewelry, or is all inclusive, I think?

Speaker 3:

I think it depends on the cost. Like, for most people it's clothes, it's clothes, and then you may add a like, if it's summer, you may add a sandal, or, you know, a pair of sneakers, but women, but women. But if you're, I was going to say men where do they sell those? I lost track because of you. Where are they selling these barbecue sandals that men wear at the cookout?

Speaker 1:

Do snitching like I snitch on you and call the police.

Speaker 3:

Is the flea market still open? Where are these sandals? Because it's a lot of men walking around, especially at the VA. Shout out to the VA, but a lot of people have these sandals on and we need to know where.

Speaker 1:

We don't need to know nothing. I need to know. Listen, if you give me some of them, it's going to be on the poppy.

Speaker 3:

And your pinky toe is going to be hanging out the side of the shoe I need to know who and where are these sandals found? But, for women. Like we spend a lot of money on maintenance prior to trips. Like you have to have your hair done.

Speaker 1:

And most people anytime, like at work. If I have braids, are you going on vacation Like the braids or the stereotype? Why is that?

Speaker 3:

I don't know Well one like you. Don't have to deal with your hair while you're on vacation, you know. So it can be wet, you can get your hair wet, you can get your hair. It can have a lot of humidity, it can do whatever, and so it's really low maintenance and it's still cute. So gotta get the braids you have to get your booty braids, you know you get your boho braids or whatever braids you're gonna get you know, with the, the braid and then the curly hair coming out oh um, so you spend half of the whole day in the shop doing that and then you got to get your nails done, you'd be tired before you.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, on the vacation and broke yeah, so you're getting your your hair done, your nails done, your toes done your lashes done, your eyebrows done your wax. All of that has to be done prior to going on the trip so you'd be tired you're tired and broke so then you have to decide okay, do I want to do excursions, and that's another part of the topic. Do I want to do excursions or do I just want to sit and look cute?

Speaker 3:

but yes, we do put in an order, um, to purchase clothes and new bathing suits, because there may be a theme, there may be a color if you're going with the group, or if you're going, you know you want to take pictures and you want to look nice, so then you get a new bathing suit or a new pair of shorts, or a dress and then you don't want to have the same repeating outfit on your pictures no, so how?

Speaker 1:

I mean, how far out? I mean, that's a lot of stuff. How?

Speaker 2:

far out.

Speaker 1:

So if you, if it's january and you got the trip in december, when do you start in february? When do you start planning for a december trip?

Speaker 3:

oh, that's oh. Planning for the december yeah, you can start like mid-year, maybe june, you know, give it six months. You got six months out. I mean, if you want, okay, it depends if you're going as a family, a couple or a group, because you know if you're going with the group let's say you have 10 to 15 people it's gonna dwindle down to a like, a faithful five yes, you're gonna start off with a strong team and then it's gonna yeah, then you have to set up the deposit, then you have to set up the payment plan and who has money, or you wait who to get whose check and you know who's gonna room with who.

Speaker 3:

It's a lot of of logistics prior to you know actually leaving. How does it? How does it go? Like we left, we finally the trip, finally left the group chat or something like that. So you talk about it in the group chat, you decide on a place, you have a planner team to plan things and then you have your theme of what color you're going to wear and where you're going to go to dinner. It's a lot especially for girls trips.

Speaker 1:

We do a lot. Yeah, I mean I may do a countdown, so do y'all do countdowns? I'd be like, yeah, dog, I'm leaving out here in about seven more days.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we have one person that's. She puts a count down and every day it's something.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, that gets you hyped up.

Speaker 3:

You don't want nobody.

Speaker 1:

You don't want to go on no trips, you know, shout out to the people that go on a trip and you just cut up, okay, I mean like what? I mean cut up, like you know you have arrested.

Speaker 3:

No, I don't mean cut up like that.

Speaker 1:

I mean like you're live, you're out doing stuff, you know, hey, you know you're going and going and going, you know, but because you don't want no stuffy people on, no trip there's different types of people that go on trips, like there are some people that like to relax and read and sit by the pool and just chill, and then there's other people that want to stay up all night drink excursions you know, go to dinner, you know, take shots and do all of those things.

Speaker 3:

So everybody there's different types of people during your trips.

Speaker 1:

But understand this, don't look at me crazy and all. I still love you. You're still my friend, but I'm going to get it in.

Speaker 3:

As you should. It's your money and it's your trip, and.

Speaker 1:

I want to make the best of it Now. There will be some days that I may come in the room and just chill and all, but don't have no attitude. So I've been on a trip before and this cat had attitude because I mean because we was going and leaving and you know, he just said I'm like tired, whatever, because he had a long work week okay, I mean I had a long work week too, but I'm about to get it didn't matter so don't be mad, y'all, y'all doing this now, whatever y'all see y'all.

Speaker 1:

I said yeah, we said we're coming back at eight and it turned to 12 because we was having a good time oh, okay so don't, you know like, don't make it, you know like, be like the debbie downer yeah, don't be selfish if you're not the type that.

Speaker 3:

And you know, I will do like I'll do an excursion one day, like I'll do an excursion, and then I will do like the next day, just chill at the resort and then, the next day I may do some shopping, like I like to switch it up too right I like to go sightseeing. You know, I may have one day of excursions and excitement, but we need to talk about excursions too, because that's that's a bit.

Speaker 3:

So why, let me ask you, why do we do the most on vacations and trips as far as excursions that we would normally not do at home, like, for example, because you on vacation? Skydiving doing stuff like jumping out of planes, uh, going on jet skis and you can't swim, like all of the. Why are we doing the most on vacation? And this is stuff we're paying to die, but this is something that we normally will not do at home well, you know what I just said, that maybe we talked the other day.

Speaker 1:

We was. It was fun, though we was out there on that boat in mexico, yeah, we all out there. That boat, that speedboat was gone. Those waves were insane, those waves was insane, but it was fun and I think that, like dang, like I know I can- swim way, way, way out there, yeah I mean like what if you ran out of gas and then they saying go in a circle?

Speaker 1:

you know like, follow the person in front of you we making these big old circles and it was fun, you know, and I mean, and I like that and I also.

Speaker 1:

What I don't like is now you you're talking about like, going like you want as a group, like it's okay, like me, I'm, like I'd like to be like the life of the party. No, that's just me, you know. But there would be sometimes that I may do stuff by myself and I want to do stuff, my everything that that go on like during a trip. We ain't got to do it as no group. Okay, let me put that out there. I agree, and I don't want nobody to get mad and all. But it's a trip like you do what you do. But yeah, we're gonna have time when we, we all together and all you know. But at least give me like 10, 15, 20 percent of what I'm just. I may just want to go and walk by myself. Yeah, you know I'm saying and don't look, you ain't gotta look at me, funny, you know.

Speaker 3:

So I mean I guess it just depends. It depends on the type of person that you vacation with or trip with, because sometimes people do expect you to be with them at all times and it's like, hey, you know, I want, and a lot of times, like I know for me, like I enjoy the trips, but then also, since I am a person that likes my quiet time and my individual time, like I like to have, you know, a couple of hours by myself.

Speaker 1:

So that I can kind of reset.

Speaker 3:

So, if I'm sleeping or just sitting on the balcony watching the sunset or the ocean or reading a book, I want to do that alone so that I can build up my tolerance to hang out with groups yeah, guess what, there's nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 1:

No, it's nothing wrong with that. And there's nothing wrong on the flip side, for the people that want to go out and whatever it is, and have a good time and get turned up, whatever it is, it's okay. You know, like, if the people want to stay back, you know, I'm saying if they want to sit back and chill and you know, and read a book, whatever, that's cool you ain't gotta be like oh they lame and all that.

Speaker 3:

They're just not. I mean, it's their vacation. It's their vacation, is there you're?

Speaker 1:

right, you don't know. You know people didn't work. You know overtime they did all this stuff, put in leave they did 12 hours getting their hair braided. Yeah, they tired, they tired. They can't just be ripping around they need the day to recoup yeah you know.

Speaker 1:

So shout out to you know, like vacation, especially when you're going with your friends and all, it's always a cool thing, but it's a two-sided, it's a two-sided coin, you know, like don't don't be kind of clowning people because they don't want to go out and then for the flip side, flip side, don't clown the people that want to go out.

Speaker 3:

That's true, that's true, you know I remember my our last girls trip that we went on. We went to, uh, scottsdale and um in phoenix and we had a hot air balloon. That was part of our itinerary and, uh, it was a beautiful balloon, it was huge and the team that set it up they did a really, really good job. It was like a sunset, so we had to get up at like three in the morning and drive out and then they tested the air and wind quality to see like how the air would blow.

Speaker 1:

A lot of science yeah.

Speaker 3:

Because in the balloon and go, you can just fall out the sky or if it's too windy that can be dangerous, you know. So they did all of that. We were in the middle of the, the desert, slash mountains it was. But once we got it, once we saw the team put this balloon up and all this fire to fill the balloon with with with air. It was so beautiful and we were so. We were so scared now and we were so scared. But once we got up and it went up pretty slow and we were able to see, like look down and see everything, it was beautiful absolutely beautiful now.

Speaker 1:

Y'all was scared, like I was, because a whole lot of thoughts came to mind. Y Were y'all scared of it going down. Yeah, or were you scared of all them chemicals people had in their hair and in that flame?

Speaker 3:

No, I think we were more afraid of being 10,000 feet up in the air, and then there was not enough heat to keep us up and we hit the ground Because you're just in a big, huge basket. I think there were maybe 30, 30 people that were in this basket, so it was huge basket yeah, with a huge balloon, and then you look down and all you see is just dirt were you looking down or yeah?

Speaker 3:

yeah, you can look down, you can look out, because you're just so high up and we were. And then the landing too. We were kind of bracing ourselves for the landing because the landing was our, I guess, balloon pilot. I don't know what they're referred to as, but he lowered the, the, the uh heat in the balloon so it can kind of float down slowly and then it was a smooth landing it was, it wasn't. We landed in some bush, so it wasn't like a bush a burning bush?

Speaker 1:

no, it wasn't. We landed in some bush.

Speaker 3:

So it wasn't like a burning bush no, it wasn't, you know. So it kind of caught us. It wasn't like dirt where you know it'll push up a lot of dust, and so how they did it was it was pretty clever how they land they lowered us into a bush so it wouldn't, like you know, kill us with dust and it was nice. And then we had a sunset breakfast. We had some champagne.

Speaker 1:

It really really nice, would you do it again? I would so at what point did you say what the hell am I doing?

Speaker 3:

um, when we were going up and we were at like 3 000 feet up and I was thinking, lord, what am I doing? But I've always wanted to. I even want to go to turkey, because they have you want some turkey no, I want to go to the country of Turkey because they do hot air balloons and it's like they're all in the air, like tons of them, and I think that is so beautiful I just think hot air balloons are beautiful, but they have like a thing that they do where you can.

Speaker 3:

You can go on a ride and go up in the air and it's beautiful yeah, I mean I wouldn't mind doing it.

Speaker 1:

It's not on my bucket list but I mean I'll do it. I like heights, you know, but I want to be the highest balloon see I want to go like if y'all went what? 3 000 feet? I want to go like six why, just because I would look down on the other.

Speaker 3:

You want to look down on others, okay, okay, but yeah, that was, that was really fun and we got up early and I'm not a morning person, but we got up and we made it happen and it was so fun and we had the rest of the day because we got up so early to do it. So we had to sign a waiver, of course, if you die, you die like oh okay, oh wow yeah, heck

Speaker 3:

of a waiver, but yeah, that was um, and then, I think, the rest of our trip we just did a lot of um, you know, going out to eat and taking pictures of different things and trying different restaurants. So that was our big excursion and then we were able to chill and hang out on the other days.

Speaker 1:

Well, you know what I've been on a lot of um guy outings and trips and all. Let me tell you this what get your overtime in play the lottery. Some get some scratch offs go to casino, borrow, get a loan, do whatever it is that you got to do somebody came with no money, don't come on no trip, yeah, with no money, yeah sometimes you have to sit it out.

Speaker 1:

I mean, yeah, and it's okay to sit out like you did whatever it was and you paid, got the trip paid for whatever it is. The the basics and fundamental stuff.

Speaker 3:

You don't have money for excursions, that you didn't give plasma.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, come on, because it's not fair, it's not fair for it's not fair for everybody else, because I'm thinking like I'm like. You know what I'm like?

Speaker 2:

dog I got you everybody else.

Speaker 1:

Because I'm thinking like I'm like you know what I'm like dog, I got you, you know, and I'm thinking like I don't know if people doing it on purpose. Now, granted, this cat wasn't invited on the trips, no more. But you can't be out, you know in another city or somewhere else and you ain't got no money. We all eating you like nah, I'm good, I'm getting some water. You hungry? I hear your stomach from over here.

Speaker 3:

That reminds me I agree with you on that. We went on a trip a girl's trip, it was a birthday trip to New Orleans and there was a really nice itinerary. There were restaurants and links so you can go on to the link and look at the food and see the prices and things of that nature ahead of time.

Speaker 3:

That way you can decide, you know, and, and all of the itineraries that we have and trips that we go on. It's like you know, if you choose to, it's not mandatory. You know the only thing that really is mandatory if it's that person's birthday and we're going to do something specifically for them.

Speaker 3:

But oh my gosh you know when you go to different places, you want to try different restaurants, different cuisine. There was a person or two that um, I guess, didn't have um money to go, but they went anyway and they were eating the canes raising canes chicken in new orleans. You know the chicken box with fries while everybody else is eating. Like you know, crab fingers and oysters maybe that's what they wanted.

Speaker 3:

Now okay maybe that's what they wanted that's what they wanted now, so they can't speculate that I know it was what they could afford and and that's fine, I mean, but it and and it's not to shame anybody that it's it's not but again, if you don't have the money, they couldn't even I don't think they could pay for like something else I don't know. But if you don't have it, sometimes you got to sit it out, but sometimes I think people just don't. They have fomo. You know what fomo is?

Speaker 1:

fear of missing out fomo oh the fear of missing out.

Speaker 3:

People just don't want to miss out.

Speaker 1:

But that's somebody know, but say hey girl hey, they could prevent that, not just to go along with it. They could say, hey, girl, like my money kind of tight, you know, and or is it okay if you can just kind of spot me this now? That when I get back something, but don't just eating like everything's everything I agree, I agree, but it was, it was kind of sad.

Speaker 3:

And then it's like I'm gonna wake up really early to eat the hotel breakfast because it came with the. You know, it came with the stay. I mean that's fine too. I mean, get it, get it how you, you can yeah but it was just like. It was like a scratching and surviving type weekend for them and it doesn't have to be that way.

Speaker 1:

You know what I'm saying it's just if you let people know or, like you said, maybe you can sit it out, you know, because going on a trip is one thing, getting there is one aspect of it yeah, then you. You may want to go to some stuff is unplanned you may want to go to the movies.

Speaker 3:

You may want to do this, this may come up, and then you have to buy a table or buy a bottle, and it costs money.

Speaker 1:

It does so you need to you know I'm saying you need to have at least double or even more of what it would cost, like the hotels or something. You know I'm saying at least so you can get more than just like some bread and some water yeah and then you, it looked kind of odd, and then then you may feel a type of way, and then why y'all going on those excursions, why y'all gotta do this, why it's like you, can't be like that.

Speaker 1:

You can't be like that because we, like you, can go back to the house take a nap exactly till we come back. Yeah, you know, but don't do that. At least let people know um, just let people know. I think that and I think that's fair.

Speaker 3:

Now let me ask you have you been on trips and saw people feeding like the animals, like the wild animals, Like we have, like feeding the birds, feeding the wild cats, feeding the raccoons? Have you seen people throwing food?

Speaker 1:

No, I've never, never, I have, I have never seen it and I have never done it have you been attacked by an animal of any type?

Speaker 3:

on a trip a seagull you've never had a seagull attack you?

Speaker 1:

oh man, no, because I kind of keep my distance.

Speaker 3:

But seagulls are savage. They will dive down like I remember one time, I think I was at saint petersburg on the beach and I had a burger and I was walking eating my burger and it dived down and bit a piece of my burger or funnel cake burger or funnel cake, I can't maybe both wow yeah, they're very aggressive was it close to your mouth or was this in your hand?

Speaker 1:

I?

Speaker 3:

think it was in my hand and I was walking with it and then, you know, I unwrapped my burger or had my funnel cake on the table and I was eating it and it dived down.

Speaker 1:

It took a piece.

Speaker 3:

Like you, you could have asked.

Speaker 1:

Well, did you. I threw it in the trash Like I don't want to eat, that he was coming back offer him any and so he stole that he can starve and I hope he did shout out to that skiggle. He did a good job. Yeah, I wish I had a bb gun shout out to him. But another thing like you, get ready for, uh, vacations, I know for me like well, guys, we probably like we buy unnecessary electronics really like what like phone like gadgets.

Speaker 1:

You know like you buy like me. I have bought like um fans. You know like fans that go around your neck. Okay, I have bought like um glasses, camera glasses.

Speaker 2:

Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

You know like why do I need that camera glasses, like I have extension cords and. I have the uh, like the multi plugs, um, because you, this is stuff that nobody thinks about, but they need it no, that's true. That's true, you need a stitch cord you be trying to charge your phone. They got that one plug. I'm like hey, I got like a switch right here with multiple switches in and I got extended like oh god okay I thought you were saying you buy an abundance of flashlight.

Speaker 1:

I mean like I bring a flashlight for a hurricane, like if the power go out, I would be good.

Speaker 3:

Like I bring, like so you just overpack with gadgets and stuff. You know what I over survival kit you know what? I take a lot of cleaning supplies. Yeah, you do, I listen but, I need it. I need it. I need bed bug spray. I need clorox wipes.

Speaker 1:

No, no no I need all the things hold on. I don't want to forget this, but if you buying stuff, make sure you try it out first and read the label yeah because that time we has a bug spray bed bug spray and it works. Yeah, but we're about to die yeah, we almost died.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, like it was very strong. You need a lot of ventilation yes or spray and leave don't just come to your room. I mean the dog was. The dog was had to go to the vet, to the vet to the emergency vet everybody was choking and I'm like y'all can? Y'all can breathe. Yeah, you're right, god, it's very strong, it will kill anything yes, and humans and pets, yeah.

Speaker 1:

So shout out to those cleaning goods, though back.

Speaker 3:

Back to what I was saying. So I like Clorox wipes. I bring my own hand soap because I hate using the nasty bar of soap.

Speaker 1:

Why you don't use the same bar of soap you wash your hands with and then you bathe with.

Speaker 3:

I don't know. I bring my own stuff. I have a suitcase with just stuff like cleaning supplies and my toiletries, but I have my gloves, I have something to clean out the tub, yeah, something to wipe the floor, something to lysol, you know, spraying surfaces down. I like to feel clean and comfortable in my space while I'm there, you know. And then I, there's always a friend who carries a lot of extra stuff like stuff, random stuff, like they have bobby pins, toothpicks safety pins, yeah, needles and thread needle and thread buttons, just random stuff.

Speaker 3:

And you can just ask that person hey, do you have some, um, uh, duct tape? Yeah, go in my bag. And it's like what?

Speaker 1:

I got duct tape, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

So it's just like you when you travel together, there's always somebody that has something that you could use, which is great. Because I am a last minute packer, yeah, and because I hate packing.

Speaker 1:

Can you say that again, Cause you know you, if we leave it on Friday? My name is.

Speaker 3:

Rika and I am a last minute.

Speaker 1:

I need somebody to help me, you ain't going to pack until like Friday morning Morning.

Speaker 3:

I need somebody to help me with some packing tips. Like I overpack, yes you do. And I feel like I'm not going to have enough stuff. So I overpack, but then I forget, forget, like so you have your clothes for the day, you have your pajamas for the night, but like when you go to your room and you just want to chill, I forget to bring chill clothes.

Speaker 2:

I do that a lot, I don't know how so.

Speaker 3:

I'm just saying like I need tips so that I could have all of my things and you know, know, different outfits, different shoes, toiletries, jewelry, stuff like that and then not overpack but then have everything. It's kind of crazy. How are you going to ask people for?

Speaker 1:

tips. And I gave you a tip Don't need it, don't need it, don't need it, don't need it.

Speaker 3:

That's the tip. But then what if I need it?

Speaker 1:

But you what if?

Speaker 2:

I need it. That's the tip. What if I need it?

Speaker 1:

but you, what if I need it? We be gone for like three, four days and I see you pack for at least two weeks okay, what else do you have on your list?

Speaker 3:

I mean, come on like and then they be.

Speaker 1:

Not only you overpack, but then the bags be overweight. Yeah, I mean, come on, like I gotta bring a trash bag just to put in another bag for your extra stuff.

Speaker 3:

I mean like come on, then I need souvenirs. I do need souvenirs. Then you don't have room because you bought all this junk. I can hold them in my hand. Yeah, yeah, this is a. I need help. I mean, I do, I need help.

Speaker 1:

I'm not going to fight this battle.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I need all my things and I need help that I need help.

Speaker 1:

I'm not gonna fight this battle, but you overpack, I do. I do you overpack okay, but that's just some of the things there we talked about, like overtime people do overtime, you know, buying us unnecessary gadgets. Um, how about do you ever go to bed early? Or? I know some people that when they go on a vacation, they go to to bed early. I guess they like kids.

Speaker 3:

No, I think people go on vacation to rest.

Speaker 1:

I go to bed late.

Speaker 3:

You know it's rest and relaxation R&R. So some people go on vacation just to relax. You know they like to chill, go to bed early. You know you don't have to worry about cleaning up dishes, making dinner, any of that, so they just were chill and relax.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so it's your thing. You do what you want to do.

Speaker 3:

Take a nap, do whatever.

Speaker 1:

Chill, but I have never let me think. Usually when I go on vacation I don't just never, maybe on a cruise, maybe one day, one or two days, but usually I'm always moving, really, you know, especially like if I go to um visit family, it's always that'd be like the most tiresome it is because you're trying to visit people.

Speaker 3:

Go go, go, go go eat at places that you like. Go to places that you be tired, you need another vacation or a couple of days to just recoup once you get home that is true yeah, I'll be like man.

Speaker 1:

I can't wait to and I know it sounds bad, but I can't wait till I get home, because I'm tired yeah, it's a lot of moving parts, a lot of moving parts. So you know it's up to each his own and all, but at the end of the day it's worth it, you know it's just.

Speaker 3:

You know what comes with it. What did you just say?

Speaker 1:

What.

Speaker 3:

At the end of the day.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, but at the end of the day, that's your favorite word.

Speaker 3:

The day is going to end Okay.

Speaker 1:

But at the end of the day.

Speaker 3:

You do need a rest after your vacation. Sometimes that is true. That's what's up.

Speaker 1:

So next time you get ready for your vacation, just remember Okay, do some extra overtime Save a little extra money. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 3:

Maybe get my hair braided a week before instead of trying to do. That's what I need to do Not do everything in the week of, because that is a lot and then your braids hurt. So you need to kind of get them. You still want them to look good. So I think if you do it a week prior, they'll still look good, but they won't be as tight. You can get your lashes done. You can get your nails done the week of. But, just not everything in the same, because then you still have to pack.

Speaker 1:

Right, and then if you ain't got it, it's okay, it's cool, you know what I'm saying. And then if you go on, if you go on the trip and you ain't you know, just maybe let somebody know say, hey, I'm going on a trip, you know, I'm kind of, you know, tight on funds and you know it's okay, let some. I think, if it's somebody in your group like you know, don't worry about it, I got it. Yeah, you know we can, we can, but don't do it every time. No, don't let that be a habit. No, don't worry about it. I got it. Yeah, you know we can work it out, but don't do it every time.

Speaker 3:

No, Don't let that be a habit. No, don't be that person. Every time you go on vacation, when the bill comes, you disappear, or you buying all this stuff for the trip, but then when you have to pay the person who put the trip on their card, you forget to pay them back on time.

Speaker 1:

Or something like that.

Speaker 3:

Don't, don't be that person that's how I play.

Speaker 1:

You have filed out the game.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, don't do that so if you owe people, pay them back.

Speaker 1:

If you need help, say something it is okay to sit it out and it's okay to sit it out.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I agree. Okay, so I'm going to use these principles when I go on my next trip.

Speaker 2:

I'm going to not overpack.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to get my hair done prior, the week prior, and I'm going to pack earlier and then I may go on Pinterest or look up chat GPT on how to pack for a trip. I need help. Yeah, it's bad.

Speaker 1:

How to pack for a trip. I need help. Yeah, it's bad, wow. Well, there you have it. I think that's something that we can all work on, and on our next trip, we can look forward to trying to apply some of these principles.

Speaker 3:

Yeah or not?

Speaker 1:

Exactly or not, yeah or not, but if you're going with me, you know how I feel.

Speaker 2:

Okay.

Speaker 1:

All right, but how can they reach us there, rica?
