Meet Halle Homel — alpine climber, outdoor guide, and activist. After six years on the road, she’s now based in Mammoth, guiding multi-day trips and championing access and equity for women in the outdoors.
We met Halle at Convict Lake to talk about her journey from recreational climber to professional guide, the challenges women face in mountain sports, and the confidence it takes to keep pushing higher — from fundraising for The Cairn Project to tackling California’s fourteeners.
