M is off to the 2nd day of a water polo tournament, Aidan is recovering from a Happy Fits concert, so a very short pod this Easter morning.  Just a quick vibe call on today's game.  M reads the tarot cards but comes up empty.  The crystal ball is hazy but does eventually give out an admittedly unanalyzed Safe Bet of the Day™. Go Banana Slugs! And Giants!

Good morning everyone. Welcome back into the pod. It is an early, early Easter Sunday morning, shaping up to be another beauty out here. Now, I have to confess right off the bat that I again did not see or listen to last night's game. This time for more foreseen circumstances, I was at that water polo tournament all day and early evening, and then in the evening, I was tuned in to those Final Four games because I have Yukon winning my brocket, like I said yesterday. Looks like I'm up against my niece Catherine for family bragging rights. She has Michigan. Also, since I was away until late last night, and I have to be back in Santa Cruz by 8 a.m. this Easter morning, I am doing this at 4 a.m. and I have had no time to look at either last night's game or today's game. All I know is that it's Singo versus Webb. So for today, there will be an admittedly unanalyzed safe bet of the day. Though, since my analysis hasn't been working lately, maybe we should just go with the vibe after all. And my vibe is telling me to go right back to the well and take Giants' first five money line at minus 115 and bet on Webby. I look into the crystal ball, it tells me that there's no way the Giants are gonna get shut out again. It's a warm afternoon game and they are going to score some runs. I just can't imagine Singa is gonna do the same as Clay Holmes and McLean. So I guess that's the question. Can Singa do the same? Can Webb stop the bleeding? Can the Giants even up the series? And I don't have any answers to any of those questions. Like I said, I have just barely got out of bed. I'm gonna have to make this quick also because I do have to get on the road. So we'll just make that the truly Homer pick, a Hope Springs eternal pick, but I just don't have any time. All I know is Singa is really good and he could easily shut down this anemic giants offense, but Logan Webb is also good and he could shut down the Mets offense. So really that's all I have. Like I said, I have to get on the road here in just a few minutes, so I'm just throwing that out there. Uh believe me, I don't pe I don't expect anybody to really take this pick. It is, like I said, the unanalyzed pick. Tune in tomorrow. I see the Phillies are in town, and I did look real quick, and they have a 22-year-old rookie on the mound, Andrew Painter, who they have high hopes for. He has only pitched in one game in the big so far. That was earlier this year, and he pitched really well in that game. Hopefully, I will have time to get back to my routine, do a little research, and do a proper podcast for that game. Although, if this vibe things work, maybe we'll just go with that because the analysis hasn't been working. Anyway, that is tomorrow's game. And now that I think about it, that's probably going to be about the same time as that final Yukon Michigan game. So might not be watching all of tomorrow's game either or much of it. But tune in tomorrow. At least we should have a proper podcast with some analysis, with some numbers, and something to go on from there. Anyway, that's all I have for you today. I have to get back on the road. Have a great day. Go banana slugs and go giants.
