Episode 1 – Breaking Shame & Releasing Secrets

In this deeply vulnerable first episode, I open up about why I’m finally sharing my story of sexual abuse—and why I believe it could be the key to someone else’s healing. I ask hard questions many of us carry in silence:
What have I been too ashamed to say? What has secrecy cost me? What changed when I finally spoke the truth?

I share pieces of my own journey, including painful confessions about how abuse shaped my choices and identity, the weight of a courtroom loss, and the moment I almost gave up fighting for justice. I don’t tell it all—there’s too much for one episode—but I start peeling back the layers.

Through scriptures like John 3:16 and Psalm 34:17–18, I explore how God meets us in our darkest places. I talk about forgiveness, the danger of holding grudges, and the unexpected conversations this episode sparked with my own husband—especially about our daughter, and the reality of protecting the next generation.

If you’ve ever felt alone, dirty, or too broken to be healed, this episode is for you. It’s not easy to hear. It wasn’t easy to speak. But it’s time to break shame and release the secrets—because silence never saved anyone.
