Cries Of Redemption
Cries of Redemption is a faith-based podcast dedicated to breaking the silence around trauma, abuse, and deep emotional pain. Hosted by Janelle Starkey, a survivor and advocate, this podcast invites you into raw, honest conversations about healing, redemption, and the power of speaking truth. Each episode blends personal storytelling, biblical encouragement, and practical steps toward healing for those who feel forgotten, unloved, or broken. Whether you’ve walked through trauma or are supporting someone who has, you are welcome here. There is still hope. There is still healing. And you are deeply and unconditionally loved.

The Most Offensive Word Today: Sin - Women's Rights
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The conversation around women’s rights is everywhere—but what does God say?
In this episode, we address the history of woman, abortion, how sin carries different consequences, and why all sin still separates us from God. I again talk about why calling something sin can be so offensive to many people today. I also share part of my personal journey and how fear once shaped my decisions. No matter the sin, the truth remains: we all fall short—and Jesus still offers forgiveness.
This episode builds on the question from the previous episodes: Are you going in the right direction? & The Most Offensive Word Today: Sin. Because sometimes the most loving warning we can receive is the one we least want to hear.
