Caffeinated Mornings
Caffeinated Mornings is a monthly speaking series that focuses on a individual creative or group.
Our format is a short, intimate discussion, where the themes can range from work approach to personal interest followed by a q and a with the audience. The event showcases photographers, designers, videographers, coders, architects and is held the first Friday of every month in Boulder, Colorado.
Why this show?
There are plenty of Meet-ups and access to lynda.com tutorials, this is the story behind the making, not how to make, this regularly occurring event brings creatives, business types, artists, etc. together to share insight, commonality and inspiration.
Your host
Caffeinated morning ran for almost 7 years, before the pandemic put many of our favorite things on hold. The show is hosted by graphic designer and founder of the event, Jay Ferracane. With over 25 years of experience, Jay honors the value of design in all things, and thinks that titles and narrow views within the creative profession are overrated.
In addition to teaching at the University Of Colorado, he runs his own design consultancy, Angry+Bovine. If you were to ask him why the show exists, he would say “to share the experiences of creatives from varied backgrounds to inform, inspire and encourage the creative community as a whole to keep making and doing.”
Location
To visit us live, doors open at 9:00 am at 1304 Walnut Street B3 on the first Friday of every month. Show starts at 9:30. Follow along on Instagram @caffeinated_mornings to stay up to date.
