What type of church is this?
In this message, we look at John 2:1–11 and the moment Jesus performed His first miracle at a wedding in Cana.
While everyone else was focused on the celebration, the servants were positioned to witness something deeper. As they served, they didn’t just observe the miracle—they carried it.
This message challenges us to rethink what it means to follow Jesus. Serving isn’t about convenience or comfort. It requires humility, surrender, and the willingness to put others before yourself. Jesus Himself modeled this by choosing to serve even when it went against His own desires.
We are reminded of three powerful truths:
Servanthood overrides selfishness.
Servants serve servants.
Servants are surrounded by the miraculous.
Some miracles are only experienced by those who choose to serve. The guests enjoyed the moment, but the servants knew where the miracle came from.
If you want to see God move in a deeper way, don’t just watch—get in position.
This is who we are.
