What do you do when you feel weak?
In this Mother’s Day message, “A Weak Mother’s Strength,” we explore the story of the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4:25–30 and the powerful truth that weakness does not disqualify us from experiencing God’s strength.
So many women carry the weight of life silently—showing up exhausted, smiling while grieving, and trying to hold everything together while feeling empty inside. But this message reminds us that God does not require perfection or endless strength from us. In fact, some of the deepest encounters with God happen in our weakest moments.
Through the life of the Shunammite woman, we learn three powerful truths:
Weak mothers are strengthened through community.
Weak mothers are strengthened through authenticity.
And God always shows up for weak mothers.
This message is an encouragement to anyone who feels overwhelmed, burdened, exhausted, or spiritually weak. You do not have to carry it alone. God’s strength is made perfect in weakness, and He is able to meet you right where you are.
Because weakness is not the end of your story.
It may be the very place where God’s strength begins to shine the brightest.
