With Indie Bookstore Day coming up and ALA celebrating National Library Week, HopLit hosts Emily & David make it a point to discuss their favorite books about books! In addition to celebrating the importance of book spaces and the importance of literacy, HopLit talks book and beer news, recent reads, and when Emily shares she’s drinking Fonta Flora, David shares a fun anecdote from his time at the brewery. Emily Swank is an English teacher and the creator behind the Instagram account @thebeercanon. The Beer Canon works to pair books with craft beer, and has its own monthly brewery hopping book club. She's hosted bookish events with Columbus Brewing Company and Seventh Son Brewing, and is based in Columbus, Ohio.
