This week on Comeback Corner, we’re asking the big one: K-pop has gone global… but is it actually ready for the world?
First up: our weekly SEVENTEEN bias line-up update - M’s deep in a 97-line love triangle with Mingyu and Minghao, Wonwoo is gone (but somehow more present than ever), so Zuzu is still holding onto DK (even though he’s stealing her aesthetic and doing it better… rude).
Then it’s a deep dive into K-pop’s global blindspots: Lisa’s Rockstar MV and plagiarism accusations (hi FEIN), cultural appropriation with groups like KISS OF LIFE, and idols repping canceled brands like Balenciaga and Alexander Wang (yes, even BTS) while Western celebs drop them.
