Dr. Rebecca Theobald
Rebecca Theobald is a geographer and educator whose work focuses on civic engagement, political geography, and geography education. Her research explores apportionment and redistricting, GeoCivics, and the role geography plays in developing democratic citizens. She earned her PhD in Geography from the University of Colorado Boulder and has published widely on redistricting, elections, and geography education. Dr. Theobald is Editor of The Geography Teacher and has received national recognition for her contributions to geography education and public engagement.
