And good Tuesday morning to you. State police from the Jonestown Barracks are investigating a weekend accident in Lebanon County. Radio Novo's Tory Gates has the details from our Harrisburg studio.

The incident occurred at around 7 45 A.M. Saturday morning. Troopers say a vehicle traveling westbound on Interstate 78 in Swatera Township went off the highway, struck an embankment, and two trees before coming to a stop. A passenger described as an 11-year-old boy suffered a head injury and was airlifted to Hershey Medical Center. The driver, reportedly the child's father, was not said to be injured. Rainy conditions are believed to have played a role in the accident. I'm Torrey Gates, Radio Novo News.

It was on May 11th that a South Lebanon Township police officer conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of East Walnut Street for vehicle window tint violations. During the investigation, 33-year-old Raphael Nazario Roman was found to be driving on a suspended license while also presenting a counterfeit insurance document, which he said he purchased on Facebook. Charges of possession or use of fraudulent documents, driving while suspended, and required financial responsibility have now been filed against Roman. A suspect is in custody in connection with a Dauphin County homicide. A man's body was found Saturday morning alongside State Route 441 in Londonderry Township. The victim's name has not been released, and neither has his cause of death. Twenty-five-year-old California resident Ilia Romanchenko has since been arrested in Florida on a homicide charge in the case. Republican State Representative Brenda Pugh is introducing a measure that would bar the Commission from sending text messages related to unpaid tolls and fees. Pugh says the bill is meant to protect the privacy of citizens and eliminate confusion over whether notices are legitimate. People have been reporting scam texts related to unpaid turnpike tolls for months now. More news on our Radio Novo app, Laura Labow Radio Novo News, a service of Seven Mountains Media.
