Dimitre Genov (00:16): My name is Dmitry Genov. I'm a Managing Director at Brookline Capital Markets. I began my career at Lazard in investment banking, spent 11 years there, and then moved to the buy side where I managed various portfolios at places like JP Morgan, Julius Baer, Magnetar, and Balyasny — the last eight of which were focused on the SPAC market. I became one of the most prolific investors in the SPAC market, developed a lot of relationships with sponsors and companies, and have currently chosen to use my experience, expertise, and network to help sponsors find great targets for their SPACs.
