The Courage to Begin Again: Finding Strength in New Beginnings
Have you ever stared at that blank journal, that neglected podcast, or that dream gathering dust in the corner of your heart? "The Courage to Begin Again" speaks directly to anyone who's been telling themselves "I'll start tomorrow" while watching days turn to weeks and weeks to months.
This episode cuts through the paralysis of perfectionism with a powerful truth: starting again doesn't require reinvention—it requires permission. Permission you already have. Drawing from scripture that reminds us God's mercies are new every morning, we explore how divine grace offers us a model for extending that same grace to ourselves. Why are we holding our yesterday against us when God isn't?
Through gentle encouragement and profound insights, we redefine what courage really looks like in our creative and spiritual journeys. Sometimes courage isn't loud or dramatic—it's the quiet decision to write one sentence, post one honest message, or pray one shaky prayer after a long silence. These seemingly small acts represent the bravery of beginning again, not from the same place, but from somewhere deeper and wiser.
If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or convinced you've waited too long to restart, this episode offers the reminder you need: you don't have to be ready, you just have to be willing. Download the free Resilient Creator Roadmap mentioned in the show notes to help you bounce back stronger and maintain consistency even when life feels heavy. Your story isn't over—it's simply waiting for you to turn the page.

Tele: 1:26
Maybe you haven't created anything in a while. Maybe your journal has been blank, your podcast is collecting dust, your dream has been sitting in the corner waiting for you to pick it up again and you keep telling yourself I'll start again one day, maybe tomorrow. But the days turn into weeks, the weeks into months. Sometimes the months turn into years, and now it feels like there's too much time that has passed. Let me tell you something
Tele: 2:10
It's still not too late to begin again, because the Bible says the love of the Lord is new every morning. Great is his faithfulness every single morning. That means every time the sun rises, so does his mercy. God isn't holding your yesterday against you. So why are you? You're not behind, you're not disqualified. You're just in need of a gentle rest and not a complete reinvention. And here's what I want you to hear clearly starting again doesn't require perfection.
Tele: 3:07
I know you want to be perfect, and I always want to be perfect too. But starting again does not require it. You already have it. You have the permission to start all over again. Never be afraid to start all over again. God is not waiting for you to have a five-year plan or a perfect mood. He's just waiting for your yes.
Tele: 3:16
That yes might look small today. It might be writing one sentence, posting one honest message or praying one shaky prayer, but it counts. Courage isn't always loud, sometimes it's quiet, sometimes it's, I'm trying again, even though I'm scared. You can begin again, not from the same place, but from a deeper, wiser one. So let this be the season when you return to your voice, to your calling, to your fate, because the truth is, you don't have to be ready, you just have to be willing. Thanks so much for listening to this episode of still standing with tele. If today's message spoke to you, I'd love for you to take the next step and download the resilient creator roadmap. It's a free guide to help you bounce back stronger and stay consistent Even when life feels heavy. You'll find the link in the show notes and if you're ready for deeper support, keep listening.
