Still Standing with Tele

Seen by God - When Everyone Else Overlooks You

Tele

Have you ever found yourself doing all the right things—showing up consistently, serving others, creating valuable work—only to feel completely invisible? That quiet ache of wondering "does anyone see me?" is more universal than you might think.

In this heartfelt episode, we dive into those seasons where you feel like a background character in your own life story. I share my personal experience with publishing books that seemed to disappear into the void despite all the labor and heart poured into them. That disappointment is real, and the desire to be valued and recognized isn't selfish—it's deeply human.

But here's the transformation that changed everything for me: While people may overlook you, God misses nothing. "You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways" (Psalm 139:3). This profound truth reframes our understanding of unseen seasons. What feels like invisibility is often divine incubation—a sacred space where deeper work is happening beneath the surface.

Your story continues to unfold with purpose, even when chapters feel quiet or advancement seems stalled. The courage to keep showing up when no one appears to notice might be the purest form of faith we can demonstrate. Remember, you're still standing, and you are never forgotten.

Welcome to Standing with Tele, the podcast that reminds you that, no matter what life throws your way, you can still stand strong, stand soft and stand in faith. I'm your host, tele resilience and life story coach, and also the host of the podcast Navigating the Chapters of Challenge with Tele. Also the host of the podcast Navigating the Chapters of Challenge with Tele. This space is for the person who's been through the fire or hasn't lost their flame, for the creator who's doubting their voice but still has something to say, for anyone who needs to know you are not alone and this is not the end of your story. Each episode is a breath of encouragement short, powerful reflections rooted in truth, hope and healing. So if you're tired, weary or wondering if it's still possible to rise, you're in the right place. Let's take a deep breath and begin. When you feel invisible in your own story. So you're doing all the things You're showing up, you're serving others, you're creating, you're giving, you're holding space. But deep down, you wonder, does anyone see me? But deep down, you wonder, does anyone see me? I've lived there in the quiet ache of invisibility, when it felt like everyone else was being seen, celebrated, supported, and I was just a background extra in my own life. I remember when I published my books and I was just wondering why was nobody seeing these books? They were good, even if I say so myself, and I did have one or two people actually say so, but the kind of numbers I was hoping would see what I'd done after all the hours and all the labor that I'd put into it wasn't happening. Does anyone see me? You might be in that position right now, thinking I've done everything, I'm doing everything, but no one seems to be seeing me. Be valued, to be reminded that your presence matters, that's not a bad thing, and here's what I've learned. People may overlook you, but God does not miss a thing. Psalm 139.3 says you discern my going out and my lying down. You are familiar with all of my ways. So your hidden season is not wasted. God is familiar with all of your ways. He knows what's going on. He sees you. Your unseen obedience is not unseen by heaven In. Invisibility does not mean irrelevance, and sometimes it could just be incubation. So take heart your story is still being written and the author has not put down his pen. You're still standing and you're not forgotten. Your story is still being written and the author has not put down his pen. You're still standing and you are not forgotten.
