Creation Story – Revision Notes

(What God did on each day of creation)

1. Day 1 – Light and Dark
   God said, “Let there be light,” and He separated the light from the dark.
   He called the light day and the dark night.
2. Day 2 – Sky and Sea
   God created the sky, separating the waters above from the waters below.
3. Day 3 – Land, Sea, and Plants
   God gathered the water to form seas and made dry land appear.
   Then He created plants and trees to grow on the land.
4. Day 4 – Sun, Moon, and Stars
   God made the sun to light the day and the moon and stars to shine at night.
5. Day 5 – Birds and Fish
   God created fish to fill the sea and birds to fly in the sky.
6. Day 6 – Animals and Humans
   God created animals to live on the land.
   Then He created humans (man and woman) in His own image to look after the Earth.
7. Day 7 – Rest
   God had finished His work, so He rested.
   He made the seventh day holy.
