Speaker 1:

I see you in everything. I see you in everything. You're working it all out for me. Oh, what can I do but sing and give to you all the glory? You put all my fears to rest. I bring to you my anxiety. Oh, I am forever blessed. Your passion is always chasing me. You are Maker, maker of all things. You are Lover, lover of all beings, my Redeemer bearing all my pain. You are Jesus and I love to sing your name. I see you in everything. Such kindness in my own story. Oh, what can obscure the truth? My Father in heaven loves me. I dance in the pouring rain. You shower your love on everyone With a power I can't escape. Whenever you speak, I come up.

Speaker 1:

We are now at Upper Session Road of all things. You are my lover, lover of all things, my redeemer bearing all my pain. You are Jesus and I love to sing your name. Any good that I am, it all comes from you. Any love that I have, it all comes from you. Any joy that exists, any peace that persists, you make all things new. Life alone comes from you, my Maker, maker of all things. You are Lover, lover of all things, my Redeemer Bearing all my pain. You are Jesus, and I love to sing your name.

Speaker 2:

Hello everyone. This is Brother Dylan here. Just wanted to take the time to talk to you guys about a couple things. I know we've had a recent couple episodes that's been updates and things that's going on in our podcast and our ministries on our podcast and our ministries. Just wanted to touch base with that and kind of discuss more things that's been happening this past week so and then try to discuss some of them things and then hopefully this will be the last one for a while, unless something else happens. So let's go ahead and get started, all right? So several people have asked us you know what's the schedule look like now? What are we preparing to? Are we going to have a sermon every day, something in that ballpark? The thing that I would like to discuss to you about this issue and things like that and questions that people has brought to us Our schedule for posting sermons now is going to be Monday, wednesday and Friday, and we did that because it kind of lowers the time and dedication Not necessarily the dedication, but the time preparing for sermons and kind of decreases the amount of work that we're having to do With us.

Speaker 2:

Recently, with the previous podcast host that we used, we was able to post every single day a sermon, except on the weekends. So Monday through Friday you would have a sermon, except on the weekends. So Monday through Friday you would have a sermon. But that was very difficult on me and plus others that have been posting to this podcast. It takes a lot of time to find sermons and able to edit them and get them cleaned up and enough to have a better sound quality and things like that. So it takes a lot of time to have a better sound quality and things like that. So it takes a lot of time. So this way it would help us to have a sermon three days of the week. So basically just cut down a lot from what we're doing. And it's not that we've lost desire or not that we don't have any passion for this ministry anymore, it's nothing like that. It just takes a lot of time to do that. And this way it can cut down that time frame of working hard to try to get a sermon every day, to perfecting the other sermons that we're now posting, and it gives us time to work on other things in the ministry. It gives us time to work on other things in the ministry and also it helps us to kind of cut costs.

Speaker 2:

With our current podcast host. They give us so many hours in a month to upload our audio. I think we get 12 hours in a month to a podcast person. That's not very much, you know, fortunately. I wish it was unlimited, like our old podcast host. But with Buzzsprout that we're using now gives us a lot more benefits, a lot more perks that we actually needed, more benefits, a lot of more perks that we actually needed.

Speaker 2:

So we had to make the switch. Of course, you know, with that switch it's going to have some negative things and some positive things, but the positive outweighs the negative and we're just trying our best to keep this ministry afloat. As everyone knows, the finances is very crucial for everyone and we had to work with something. Unfortunately, we do best with making money to support this podcast through the ads that we used from the previous host and that's going to cut down tremendously. So we're kind of worried about that and we're just trying to be transparent and I want for us, our listeners, to understand where we're coming from, so that you guys can know what we are looking at, and my plan is to keep doing this for a long time, as the good Lord gives me the opportunity and because we love enjoying it and my team that's part of it now and they really love enjoying it. So we want to keep going as much as we can.

Speaker 2:

You know, with that being said, finances are are very tight. With that being said, uh, finances are are very, um tight at you know, at times there's been, uh, countless times that, um, and I'm not trying to put myself on a pedestal or to my own horn, basically, but there's been several times I've took out of my own um wallet in order to keep the lights on. Basically, um, and we we do struggle, um, trying to keep the lights on, basically, and we do struggle, trying to keep everything going. But you know, god's helped us a long way. So, with that being said, some of us ask you know, with sermons, the increase, is there a way for us to get special sermons or is there a way for us to get the sermons early so that we can have them on certain days?

Speaker 2:

There is an option with our membership club. Basically, if you sign up and it charges you $5 a month that's the minimum and you get the sermons two days before everyone else. You also get bonuses, like other extra episodes that actually don't count against our hours that we can use. So I plan on using that for interviews and things like that, for preachers' interviews and some devotionals and things like that that we're looking at. So I'm hoping that will work out and you guys can benefit from that and you can also help us.

Speaker 2:

In the meantime, we could desperately use some giving. I hate that. I'm not asking anyone to give. I know the finances are very tight with everyone, but if you could give $5 a month that would help us tremendously. You know to. It would help us keep the podcast hosting up and it's not hurting everyone. So I try to give where I can to keep the podcast in the way it should. So I just wanted to touch base with that. All right, let's start with the next thing.

Speaker 2:

Some have asked about the classic Holiness Sermons podcast. We did have some reviews on Apple Podcasts and I was asking us why we haven't posted in a while. But very recently Brother Tim Jenkins from Virginia has taken over that podcast and he's done a fabulous job. He has uploaded a bunch of sermons. They do not have intros or outros and we've decided to kind of cut that out and for him to kind of work and start mass uploading to kind of catch up on the year that we've missed of not uploading to that podcast and we're looking forward to seeing how far that podcast grows. And you can find that podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcast. We're really excited to see the benefit of it reaching a lot of people.

Speaker 2:

A lot of people enjoy hearing the old time sermons that's preached years and years ago, but then it takes time and it takes work actually trying to locate them sermons. So if you have any old sermons from tapes or from CDs, please send us an email or you can send us a text in the show notes. Please make sure, if you do text us, to leave your phone number or your name in the text message, because we have no way of seeing the number when you do text us through our system. Unfortunately, buzzsprout does not offer that, but make sure you put your number in there if you want us to contact you. If you want us to contact you by email, just put your email in there so that we can at least get a hold of you somehow. We would definitely want to give that opportunity for you all.

Speaker 2:

If you are tech savvy and you have the sermons on your phone or on your computer you can upload them to our Google Drive folder. It is in the show notes of a sermon. So if you click on sermon, listen to it. Then you start reading the show notes on Apple podcast or Spotify or any other podcast platforms you'll see. On there it says Google Drive folder. You click on that link and it'll give you an option to upload. So if you have them on your phone you can upload. That would be a great way. But if you have them on CDs or tapes, please send us an email or a text and we'll send you an address for you to send them to. We'll send them right back. I am still currently working on some tapes from a couple of brothers that have given us tapes to use, so it will take some time. If it's tapes CDs I can do pretty quickly, but just keep in mind tapes is a longer process. So I just wanted to touch base with that.

Speaker 2:

Also, someone sent us a sermon. A listener sent us a sermon. It was called Titled Sanctification, but it did not have a preacher's name or, I'm sorry, it didn't have the preacher's name. It just had the title, the word Sanctification. If you're listening and you've sent that to our Google Drive folder. Please send us a text or an email telling us who the preacher was so that we can get that uploaded. It had great sound quality and we would love to use it, but we just didn't have a name of the preacher that preached it. I tried to listen to see if I could catch the voice, but could not recognize it.

Speaker 2:

So if you have that sermon and you sent that sermon to us, please send us a text and we would greatly appreciate it. We have no way of contacting you because it didn't have your email or anything in the Google Drive folder. So we'll greatly appreciate it if you can just send us a text or email. We really appreciate that. I think I've said appreciated a lot, but yeah, guys, I really appreciate you guys. I think I've said appreciated a lot, but yeah, guys, I really appreciate you guys taking the time to listen to this podcast and our team works very hard and we have a lot of people that helps us in the ministry and I'm very thankful for the opportunity.

Speaker 2:

All right, one more thing to discuss for the opportunity. All right, one more thing to discuss Our HPO Kids podcast. Several has asked about. You know what's going on with that. Heritage Bible College is currently out of school. As everyone knows, most schools are out for the summer, so there is no content being pushed out and hopefully in August that will start back up. In the meantime, I plan to try to get out some other resources that we can upload to that podcast. I've been searching for that and if you have anyone that has recorded audio for children's ministry or something like that, please send us an email and if they would be willing or you would be willing to release that to us that we can use in the meantime, I'd greatly appreciate it. That would help us tremendously to kind of fill in until heritage can start back with their recordings and get their first episode going and then finish up with their season with a new season coming out. So I hope everyone is enjoying that.

Speaker 2:

It's kind of like if you've ever heard of Ventures in Odyssey. It's kind of like that they do a fabulous job, an outstanding job. Several colleges have kind of helped us as well, like Heritage Bible College has done that, and I think Figbee has also done theirs as well and they did one season with us and they really enjoyed it. And if you're a college and you're looking into kind of helping with that, please contact us. Are a college and you're looking into kind of helping with that? Please contact us. We'd be willing to just set something up and, um, you know, have a meeting and kind of discuss um your direction and what you would like to produce for us, and we can definitely take care of um the podcasting part of it. We just put it on our podcast and, uh, you get full credit and, um, we want to to kind of expand our ministry and Heritage Bible College. It started out with just as a club and the kids would come together in the evenings and kind of work on it and it's turned into a curriculum. It's, it's done. It's done really well and God has truly had his hand in it and we're very, very thankful.

Speaker 2:

And I felt inspired years ago when, before the podcast had actually come into effect, that the children has to have something. Adventure as an Odyssey is wonderful and well, but I would like to see you know part of our movement kind of get involved with that. I know we have, you know, sister LaDonna Blue and Mike Blue with Little Mary and several other ministers that have kind of took in that role and do the same thing and we appreciate that so much, but we kind of wanted to have it in part of our ministry as well, appreciate that so much, but we kind of wanted to have it in part of our ministry as well. So we reached out to heritage and um see, if you know, they'd be willing to help us and they, they jumped on board and they've done fabulous job ever since and we constantly get I would say constantly, but we get often um compliments and um you and appreciation of that podcast, and several adults and parents have reached out to me and told me hey, thank you for setting that up and getting that established that their children love it and they've been learning a lot. So God has truly had his hand in it. And I wanted to thank Brother Aaron Aslan. He took over that ministry and just has done a fabulous job and we're excited to see what the future holds with that and hopefully it can turn out to a much bigger thing, and we're thankful for what God has done there. So I just wanted to add that as well.

Speaker 2:

So next thing I would like to talk about is, if you have a podcast and you've been kind of experimenting and you kind of want a following, you want to kind of increase your audience, please send us an email. You can create us a short advertisement, audio advertisement, and we will play it on our podcast free of charge. We won't charge anything. We want to kind of push more podcasters of the holiness movement in that direction and you know we want to lead the message of Christ to many lost people. That we can and if we can, you know someone has listened to our podcast and they hear. You know another podcast advertised that's wholesome and that's clean and that's a good Christian based podcast. I believe it would be worth it. So we're just trying to advance his kingdom.

Speaker 2:

In no means this podcast ministry is is to gain any monetary things. That's not our goal. That was not my objective when I started it. It won't be my objective until I end. I mean that's just how it's going to be. Our objective is to reach a soul to Christ. If we just reached one person in our ministry it would be worth it all and I've had that motive ever since I started it and I plan to keep that motive.

Speaker 2:

Being a minister myself, I pray that every time I preach that I reach somebody. You know, if it's just one person. That's what it's worth. I want to be able to be, you know, honored by Christ in that, in that method, um, not be honored by man, but honored by Christ. And uh, um, I definitely want to pull a soul out of hell and that's my number one goal. I've got many things that I need God to move in, and if I can do for God, god will do for me. So, um, I would really appreciate if, uh, appreciate, if anybody has them and would have some podcasts and they would like to share it across our platform. We would love to have you and just send us an email or text and we'll get in touch with you and get that exchanged and hopefully post it to our podcast at an all sermon episode or something like that. So we're excited.

Speaker 2:

All right, I think I've rambled enough. I just wanted to say thank you all for your kind words. I would really appreciate it if you've just now started listening for a while. If you have Apple Podcasts, please leave us a review, or Spotify. That helps us reach other people, more people. Give us a review on Podcasts or Spotify or other podcast platforms that help us reach a lot more people, and also send us a text through our fan mail on Buzzsprout, tell us how much you appreciate this podcast. That helps us reach others as more people respond. We know the algorithm and all things like that. It pushes it out to other people. People probably never even heard of our podcast. We want to reach as many souls as we can, so we would really appreciate some reviews and that would help us tremendously.

Speaker 2:

And keep in mind to keep us in your prayers. We're praying and hoping that we can keep this podcast going, and my worst fear right now is the financial part of it and, um, it's not that I'm begging for money, but I'm just being transparent. I'm trying my best to keep it afloat. Um, with everything that's you know going on, we're we're trying our best to keep it on. So, um, keep us in your prayers. Um, been burdening me about it for a while now. So keep praying for us and keep praying for my family. I would like to see a lot of my family members saved, got a lot of needs before the Lord. I have some things going on at work that I'd like the Lord to move in and want to do well, and some upcoming tests for work, and so please keep us in your prayers. I would greatly appreciate it. All right, I think I've rambled enough for you again. So may God richly bless you all and I hope you guys have a great week and you know, take care and be careful. May God bless you.

Speaker 3:

The Close and tight and finding it harder to see the kindness you told us to be and trying to hope that I'd try and know You'll make a way, you'll make a way, you'll make a way. You'll make a way, you'll make a way. Come kingdom of God, true and kind, the boldness of our sacrifice. Your heart shows Love.
