Rev. Neil Bridges- “From Death's Door to Divine Deliverance”

Holiness Preaching Online

Text us here! (Leave us your number if you want a response from us!)

A breathless pastor takes us on an extraordinary journey from the edge of death to miraculous restoration through the power of two lambs. When even the simplest conversation became impossible and walking to the mailbox required multiple stops to catch his breath, Pastor Neal Bridges found himself dependent on oxygen and seemingly beyond medical help.

The turning point came unexpectedly. After reluctantly trying an unconventional treatment using stem cells from the first offspring of a lamb,

Bro.  Bridges experienced what can only be described as miraculous - within 40 minutes, he was speaking normally and breathing without oxygen support. "I'm here tonight because of two lambs," he declares. "The Lamb of God that blotted out my sins and saved me by grace, and the stem cells from that lamb, injected into my chest and lungs."

Throughout his powerful testimony, Bro. Bridges weaves together the physical healing he received through medical innovation with the spiritual redemption offered through Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. His story becomes a living parable about hope when all seems lost. From his own recovery to stories of transformed lives like "Ernie" who couldn't even complete a simple prayer but was radically changed, Bro.  Bridges reminds us that no one is beyond restoration.

This message will resonate deeply with anyone facing seemingly impossible circumstances or those who love someone who appears beyond help. In his colorful, authentic storytelling style, Pastor Bridges delivers a timeless truth: "I'm a nobody, telling everybody, about somebody that can save anybody." Whether you're battling health challenges, personal struggles, or spiritual doubts, this testimony offers a powerful reminder that both divine mercy and medical breakthroughs can work together to create miracles we never thought possible.

Speaker 2:

Hello, this is Austin Griffiths, the pastor of Open Praise Fellowship Holiness Church in Easley, South Carolina. Thank you for listening to Holiness Preaching Online. Let's take these truths of God's Word with us and apply these biblical doctrines to our lives. I know you'll enjoy this sermon from a holiness preacher.

Speaker 3:

If you're going to give me some oysters and I hope God moves on you to do it don't blow them, don't wash them, just like to come out of the shell, put them in the bucket and I'll spit the holes out that you didn't get out and take care of the rest of it. Amen, amen. My wife and me used to. Of course, we've traveled for years, but when we were alive and lived, she was alive and we lived down here and we were used to fresh seafood Fresh shrimp, oysters, crabs. We'd be off up Are y'all taping this, oh God. We'd be off somewhere in another part of the world and they'd say, oh, let's go eat seafood. My wife would cut her eyes at me with that kind of you know.

Speaker 3:

I'd say do you all like seafood? I'd say, yeah, we love seafood. Oh, have you ever ate at Long John Silver's? I'd start to say have you ever ate at Bozo's? Amen. Have you ever ate at Wenzel's? Have you ever? I could name several places, including my wife and a lot of other good, sanctified women's food and groceries and whatever. And we'd get away from them. Oh, they'd talk about how great it was and one of them would say to the other one they just don't know, do they? And they don't, they don't and they just don't know, do they and they don't, they don't.

Speaker 3:

Little boy was quoting the 23rd Psalm. Trying to that was his part in the program. He stepped up to the podium like little boys used to do. That's when boysaz was Boaz, boaz wasn't Susie. And little boy, he stepped up, quote 23rd Psalm. Of course, the way we used to do it when we were little boys. You'd put your hands behind you and you'd stand. Y'all can't see Like this Little fellas. Step somebody up and quote the 23rd Psalm. Step somebody up and look at everybody.

Speaker 5:

The Lord is, the Lord is, the Lord is a the.

Speaker 3:

Lord is a. He gave me a snicker. Yep, I can mic that guy.

Speaker 5:

The.

Speaker 4:

Lord is my a is a by then they really really got tickled.

Speaker 3:

He stepped back up and he said the Lord is my shepherd.

Speaker 4:

He's all I want. Oh my God.

Speaker 3:

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the world really felt that way? In fact, I believe it would be really really good if most of the churches felt that way. In fact, I believe it'd be really really good if most of the churches felt that way. Amen. Well, I'm wrestling tonight. I'll be honest with you and I hope I don't do like a young preacher up at Wetopka some years ago. He got up and was in a fellowship meeting up there and they put him up and he preached an hour and a half and then he said folks, I'm sorry I got the wrong message. I hope for an hour and a half. So we know that it is Praise the Lord. I certainly love your pastor and his family and a lot of you that I've known over the years Appreciate you so much. Appreciate Brother Stork, brother Marston, georgia, letting us stay with them.

Speaker 3:

I wanted to come down here. I wanted to come and see all of you Different ones, including Brother Johnson. I was talking to him about glad to see me. I said, yeah, I'm glad to see even an undertaker, because if I'm looking at him I ain't doing business with him. It's that one. Didn't he do a good job? Don't he look natural? I believe he looks better than last time. He looks dead to me.

Speaker 3:

Praise God. It's wonderful to live for the Lord. It's blessed, are they that die in the Lord, and people like Brother Mike Roberts that I've known for years and years, and others that's gone on, including my wife, that it come time and they did cross into the eternal world. So the good Spirit of God come by, witnessed my wife's funeral. My neighbor, I have two neighbors. They're the best neighbors in the world. I wish you all had neighbors as good as mine. One of them, on the right side, is a Methodist, the one on the left side is a Baptist and the husband of the one on the left she's a Baptist and feeds anything Anyway, but as far as being good to me good, they're just so good to me. And my one on the right that's a Methodist, is one of the most dedicated or consecrated persons.

Speaker 3:

However you want to say it, I'll tell you one thing you go out and get in that car and you get in that car and I told Brother Stork and them that. I said every time you get in the car, I don't care if you go into town. I said, let's pray and we start fishing. Let's pray, get in the car to go out and eat, let's pray. And they were so kind to us through my wife's situation and problem, and even with mine when I was in such bad shape and not able to even take up prayer meeting at the church. He'd cut my grass, he'd take care of our flowers my wife was beginning to get a little feeble at that particular time and his wife would help at the house and take care of the house and fix and provide for us.

Speaker 3:

So when my wife passed away and of course they were close to my children and to us, my wife's funeral, it got high. Brother, being all good, them got singing. Different ones got singing and, being all good, them got to singing. Different ones got to singing and quite a few people there and of course the Holy Ghost began to fall and began to move through that place and people began to shout and old Roger sitting up there on the front seat with several of the wholeness folks, and that was Paul Barris, and they got up and got clapping. He got up and got clapping with them. He got clapping with them. He got clapping with them and after it was over with, he told Belle his wife.

Speaker 3:

He said Now, belle, that's the kind of funeral I want. She said You're going to have to live a whole lot better than you live in to have one like that, and so, but I'm certainly honored and glad appreciate getting to be here. I love the Johnson family, not just only your pastor, his brother, daddy and all the rest of them, I just I do. They've been my friends for many years, a lot of them. We had some good times together, haven't we? We've had some good times together and I just appreciate God's people so much and I thank you for your prayers. It's different when you don't have your helpmate there. It's different, it's different. Would you help me there? It's different, it's different and I'm not. You know, sometimes we need to just hear some things.

Speaker 3:

And the pastor talked to us about David encouraging himself in the Lord and I said man, that is. And he didn't let what happened just make him go, stick his head in the ashes and say that's it, I quit, I give up. I've been out doing the will of God and working and I've been trying to serve God ever since I was a little boy. Look what happened to me. Why did this happen to me? Look, I sang about God. I talk about God, I worship God and I give God the glory. And look what's happening. And sometimes, in things like this, god turns it around to get glory for Himself, amen, amen. And so just because bad things happen to us, we're not exempted from it. I don't care how saved you are. And yet, at the same time, we know that we've got one that's going to be with us and we can trust him and we know he's still the master of every situation. And so we just have these things. And I'd like to, just if I could, and I thought I had something to preach, but really I'd love to leave you with some modern day, if that would be an appropriate term to use, or some things. You know, we talk about it nothing in the world wrong with it about what happened back yonder, and in fact I'm preaching a lot.

Speaker 3:

Was you there at the year that they done that thing on Joanna and me at the Preacher's Conference up there at Pigeon Ford? I was on Oshkin 24-7. Wasn't even supposed to be there. If you don't know the whole fact about it, my doctor, which is a woman and been our doctor for years, for joining me and they had contacted us and they wanted us to come. Well, I wasn't even able to take up prayer requests at the church there at Jersey where I'd been going for 21 years, and I wasn't even able to take up prayer requests. I wasn't even able to talk on the phone. I could barely whisper, just I'm glad to see you, and I was on Oshkin.

Speaker 3:

From my house to my mailbox is 125 steps. I don't know how many times I stepped that 125 steps to my mailbox. I had to stop on 125 steps, stop and rest, walk on to the mailbox and get my mail and I'd hold on to the mailbox and get my breath, get up enough and walk some, stop, walk some and stop. But when I seen those sheep out there, immediately I thought about it. There was sheep out there. Immediately I thought about it.

Speaker 3:

I said I was at that preacher's conference and they had asked us to say something and they were honoring Joanne and I and my doctor had given me some medicine. I don't know what it is, but she said only one time. I said I will not do it again. The only reason I'm going to do it is so you can go to this conference, to this preacher's meeting. I'm going to do that for you, but I shouldn't, medically I could get in trouble. And I told her. I said, linda, don't worry, my family won't do nothing to you. Whatever, I'm responsible. Anyway, she did it. So when I got there that I could take this and it would help me enough that I'd be able, with my Hodgkin and whatever, to talk a little bit.

Speaker 3:

All right, brother Larry Landers, a missionary to Mexico I don't know if any of you, maybe all of you know him come to me and told me about his mom that had been on Oshkin for 20 years totally and I was on Oshkin at three liters and his mom was on seven liters and she'd been on and this doctor right on the border of Mexico in Yuma and she'd been on and this doctor right on the border of Mexico in Yuma. They had heard about him and she didn't have anything. There wasn't nothing else could be done for her. They took her there the second treatment. She would totally come off an oxygen and started and she went in a wheelchair but she was able now to walk and be off oxygen.

Speaker 3:

Well, you know how it is. If I've got a knee problem, somebody knows how to heal it. I mean, if I've got an ankle problem. Somebody will tell you. If you've got cancer, they know what to heal it. I'm sorry if I'm sounding a little pessimistic, but I've found a lot of that. Everybody got a solution. So I just figured I'd throw that in the bucket with everybody else. I said, eh, there ain't nothing to that, you know, I know that.

Speaker 3:

Well, as we go on, of course, and I come back home and that trip really took its toll on me, even with my oxygen, and that what the doctor had done. In fact, as quick as the meeting was coming to a close, I had to go to bed. Several weeks went on. My children knew about it. Their mom told them about it and they said to her, talked about it, and they said to me my daughter-in-law said Papa, why don't you go down there and try that? Doctor? I've been in the Lung Institute in Tampa. I'd been down there three times taking stem cells from Tampa and I'd come up, maybe on a scale of one to ten, I'd come up maybe two and stay up like that for about three or four days a week, back down to zero.

Speaker 3:

No, I ain't going to do that. I ain't going to do that. I ain't going to do that. Well now, I dreamed that I went and had that treatment and it worked. So my daughter-in-law said well, papa, what have you got to lose? What about it? Why don't you try it to lose? What about it? Why don't you try it? I'll think about it. And I had this dream. My oldest daughter, vicki, and her husband said Daddy, if you'll go, we will take you. I'll take off work, we'll take off, we'll take you. Johnny and Doug said we'll pay the bill if you'll go and try it. Well, what you got to lose? Sinking man, a couple of water-eyed boots, that much less. That you take that much longer. Okay, we go down there and I meet with this doctor Of course I'd sent him all the reports to him, medical reports and whatever and went in to see him. I was on an oxygen, of course, and I was talking like this and he told me he said you're going to be talking normal in 30 to 40 minutes and breathing without that oxygen. And I thought to myself you don't know what you're talking about.

Speaker 3:

Brother Thomas Smith, which was our pastor at that time, would tell people don't go talk with Brother Neal, don't bother him if I've got to come to church Because he is not able to talk. And of course, in case you all don't know it, I like to talk. One fellow told me. He said you sure do talk a lot. And I said I get paid for it. What's your excuse? I get paid for it, what's your excuse? So I said, hmm, well, I get in there and he tells me what we're going to do. And of course I told him I said now look. And of course now you've got to remember I'm talking like this.

Speaker 3:

I don't believe I'm a preacher. I don't believe in fetus stem cells. He said we don't do stem cells, let's feed his stem cells. I don't believe in them. Let me just jump a little bit ahead of myself, if I could, and then I'll come back and maybe pick up the rest of it. But I'm here tonight because of two lambs.

Speaker 3:

The Lamb of God that blotted out my sins and saved me by the grace of God and made me what I am, and by that Lamb, that Lamb of the first foal, of the first Lamb, of that ewe that died, and the stem cells from that lamb, injected into my chest and my lungs, brought me out and I'm here tonight. Hayo, silver glory.

Speaker 5:

Thank God, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

Oh, he said we don't use. We don't use. He said the sheep's blood is the nearest to the human blood. Of anything. It is a foreign object. In case you wondered about it, it is. But then do you grow bread or corn in your body or do you take in a foreign object called corn? Do you grow rice in your body or do you take in a foreign object? That's medically. If any of you are medically here, explain to me that you can take in rice and it will be converted to sugar and converted into energy, corn and etc. And so forth and on. It's a foreign object but it gives you strength and it brings you out.

Speaker 3:

And he said this stem cell from the lamb of the first year, now, not the second year that you her first lamb, and only Do you remember the first begotten. Do you remember Mary's firstborn? Do you remember John said Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. I'll tell you why I'm here tonight because there was a lamb that come and took the place. Do you remember the lamb that got them out of Egypt when they had been there for 400, approximately 30 years?

Speaker 3:

And yet the blood of that lamb on the door portion on the lintel, when death come marching down through there. He couldn't touch them because they had the blood of the lamb and they were behind the blood. And the reason the night that we have this blessed hope that we have of the eternal life over earth. Tonight that we have this blessed hope that we have of eternal life over earth, the tabernacle, this house, be dissolved. We have one eternal and the heavens not made with hand, whereon we're grown. It might be that we may leave this tabernacle, but we're going to live on Hallelujah.

Speaker 5:

That old song said I live on, I live on In all eternity. I live on, thank God. Eternity, I live on, thank God. Why is it so? Because of the Lamb. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Thank God for the Lamb. I'll tell you what it takes.

Speaker 3:

It don't take shaking the preacher's hand. It don't take joining the church. It takes the blood of the Lamb to blot out your sins and to do away with your sins. And it takes the blood of the Lamb to blot out your sins and to do away with your sins. And because of the blood of this Lamb he's able to save unto the uttermost, all them that come unto God by Him. They said he's dead, yeah, but he rose.

Speaker 5:

And not only that he's alive and alive forevermore he has ascended on high and led captivity.

Speaker 3:

He said to the captive he said, come here captive Captive Come a tremble and said wait a minute, wait a minute. He said come here.

Speaker 5:

You see, he has all power and all authority. He can speak to death, and death has to back up. He can speak to the cripple, and the cripple has to walk.

Speaker 3:

He can speak to the sea and the sea has to come.

Speaker 5:

Everything that he says has to obey, obey. Him.

Speaker 3:

Hallelujah, I'm telling you he's the Savior of man, he's the Redeemer of man, he's the Lamb of God, he's our redemption.

Speaker 5:

He's our propitiation, he's our mediator, he's our high priest.

Speaker 3:

He's the Lord of lords, the King of kings and our soon coming King.

Speaker 5:

Oh hallelujah. Thank God for the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world.

Speaker 3:

There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, for the law of the Spirit of Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Speaker 5:

Oh, wretched man that I was.

Speaker 4:

Woo.

Speaker 3:

I don't know how you felt about your sins, but I know how I felt about mine. Paul called himself and he was religious. He was a Pharisee of Pharisees, but he said I was the chief of sinners.

Speaker 5:

A lamb Praise God Many times when.

Speaker 3:

I'm praying, I'll say it this way. I'll say oh God, our heavenly Father, I thank you for sending your Son as a lamb for us to save us. Amen. And because of the Lamb of God and the Son of God and because of your Son and our Savior, we are saved because of the Lamb of God and the Son of God and because of your Son and our Savior, we are saved because of the Lamb, praise God.

Speaker 3:

I got there and of course, I got to try and talk to that doctor and he said now I'm going to put these stem cells and for you that are medical, and maybe all of you, I don't hardly know how to give aspirin. Don't trust me on medicine. I don't know nothing about it much, do I tell you? Oh yeah, if I get a headache I'll rebuke it with aspirin, but I'm not medically inclined, if that should be any way to put it. But him telling me, he said you're going to be talking in 30 to 40 minutes, breathing perfectly Without jostling. I thought to myself man, you don't know what you're talking about. And we began to converse and I said, okay, what kind of lamb? He said the lamb of the first year. I said, yeah. I said what kind of stem cells? He said a lamb stem cell. I said, well, there's a. What kind of stem cells? He said a lamb stem cell. I said, well, there's a lamb that shed his blood for my salvation. Really, I said yeah, I said I'm here today because of a lamb.

Speaker 3:

He said you've already been through it. I said no way. Before I got here there was another lamb. But I said he come from heaven, he was sent by God, god's only. And I said that's the lamb of the first year that got him out of Egypt. And I said the lamb of God got me out of sin. Hallelujah, did he get you out? Praise God. We're here tonight, not because I'm here. We're not here because who's all here?

Speaker 5:

We're here tonight, not because I'm here. We're not here because who's?

Speaker 3:

all here. We're here because of the Lamb. Hey, have you ever stopped to think I would probably never have known you if it hadn't been for Jesus. I'd have never known y'all. Probably that's right. But the Lamb. And every time he'd talk something about the Lamb, I'd give him a scripture and talk to him a little bit about the lamb and he'd say I ain't never heard that, I ain't never heard that. And finally he said, okay, get on the table, took off his shirt and T-shirt and everything. Of course I'm, and he gives me two shots here. Now, don't go in your lungs.

Speaker 3:

You all see that needle that he comes out. You'll never about faint when he comes out with that needle. I mean that thing. But he gives me some Novocaine or some of whatever, that deadening deal. I mean he does that. You don't mind that, because it's a little bit of needle. You know, I'm laying on it. It ain't going to be too big, too bad, just a little bit of feeling and he'll mark a little, mark a little. I said this ain't going to be. But what I didn't realize the big daddy's laying over on the table waiting. He lays that down, stacks around just for a minute or so and then he walks over and gets that big and he comes up. Why do they always want to stick that thing up right in front of you?

Speaker 6:

You know, God, that's a pitchfork.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I said, hey dog, hey dog. He said yes, sir, are you going to stick? That thing in my lung.

Speaker 3:

I can't want to breathe now, man, no, I ain't sticking that in your lung. He said if I stuck it in your lung you can't breathe. Now I'd let one little air. You got in there out. But he said I'm going to stick it in there, right in that rib, between them ribs. And he said now, in a few minutes, those modules, that's got your vocal cords cut off, where you can't talk, where you can't breathe and get a deep breath, all that's going to go to shrinking and it shrinks and then you'll be able to talk.

Speaker 3:

And again I'm thinking you know, for years I've run from God because I didn't think the Lamb could do the job that he could do for me. I've raised and a holy church. My grandpa was a holy preacher. But when it came to my time I thought, man, there ain't no way. I mean I'd try to get it all straightened out, worked out, get everything together, and then I was going to get all fixed up, quit talking ugly and doing things I shouldn't do. Then I was going to go up there and join the church, but up, quit talking ugly and doing things I shouldn't do. Now he's going to go up there and join church. But it didn't work that way. But when the lamb come to him and got him and blotted out my sins, I ain't had no trouble doing it since. Two shots here, two shots here, four shots across here. Okay, I'm laying there.

Speaker 3:

He goes over and talks to Vicki, sits down with Vicki and they're over there talking. They're talking about the grand young'uns. Both of them got grand young'uns and they're trying to figure out whose grand young'un was the greatest. You know how these grand parents are Us great grand folks don't have all that much trouble with it. But they was going and finally he got up and walked over to me and he said sit up. I got up and sat up on the side of the table. He said breathe through your nose like you've been breathing deep. Come on, breathe.

Speaker 5:

Suck it up, suck it up.

Speaker 3:

He said I know you a long ways. Where are you from? I said Georgia. What part of Georgia? Millieville, georgia? What's that close to South below Atlanta?

Speaker 5:

Vicki screamed out Daddy, you're talking. I said I'm a breathing, All because of the Lamb. You know why I'm here tonight? Because of the Lamb, Amen.

Speaker 3:

Oh, it's because of Him that we live and we move and we have our being and have this blessed hope and this sweet assurance to know that if there's a tabernacle, this house beat is off. We have one eternal and the heavens not made with heaven.

Speaker 5:

I'll tell you, it's because of the Lamb. Hey, hey, hey, hey hey.

Speaker 3:

I was breathing and I said man, I can whoo. Great Lord, you know, I'll tell you what, if you ain't enough, when you go home, I want you to go home, I want you to go home, I want you to go in the bathroom or wherever. I want you to get your washcloth. I want you to stick that washcloth under the sink faucet and get it wet. Get it wet oh, you ought to have heard the one I made the other night. Get it wet and put it over your mouth. Just stretch it over your mouth, where you can't breathe. I want you to do that. And when you do that, that's just a portion of the struggle I was having trying to breathe and then to know that all of this is gone and here I am breathing, and it's all because of what?

Speaker 5:

The Lamb. We are here because why, hey, we're redeemed by what? What blood was shed for us? Oh, thank God for the Lamb.

Speaker 3:

He took out his pen and he threw it down on the floor and said and this is a no-no, and of course the bottom parts of my lungs is dead. There ain't nothing they can do about that. And he told me. He said now you ain't going to be 100%. So I can tell you, if you'd have got here probably two years ago, you'd be 98% at least. But he said because of this, that Lord parts us dead and done dead. We can't revive that.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to tell you what a lot of people are trying to wait until they die to try to get the blood. You better go ahead and get it before you die. Get it while it can do you some good, amen. Do it while it can quicken you. Do it while it can redeem you. Do it while it can save you. That's a good one. Hey, listen to me here. You need the blood tonight. If you hadn't had it, you need the blood of Jesus Christ to blot out your sins. You need the blood of Jesus Christ to take away your sins and he's able to save unto the uttermost, all of them that come unto God.

Speaker 5:

By Him, sin that ever liveth. I want to tell you he's not in a tomb, he's not walking in Jerusalem, but he's sitting at the right hand of God, the Father, making intercession for us, and it is allowed.

Speaker 3:

He threw the pencil down there. He said pick up that pen. I reached down, you know. I got it, picked it up and handed it to him. Threw it down again. I picked it up again. He threw it down again. I picked it up again In his hall. He got a big old waiting room, a long hall way down through there and he said now he said I want you to, I'm not talking about just stroll, I'm talking about turn it on and walk fast three times down your back to that wall. Three times back One, two, three, come on Woo.

Speaker 5:

And you know why? Why? Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.

Speaker 3:

Thank God for the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. Thank God for the Lamb and I come back up there. I was so happy, I was so excited and it had been months and months Since I'd even talked on the telephone. That's a no-no If you've got a lot of lung trouble that takes up too much oxygen, and that was a no-no. Talked on the telephone, that's a no-no if you've got a lot of lung trouble that takes up too much oxygen. And that was a no-no. And on the way home I talked to Brother Thomas for over 35 minutes. Brother Thomas told the church, said Brother Neal's better, he's on the phone 30 minutes talking to me. He's on the way home. I walked in that church that just started church. We had a hallelujah hold down Praise.

Speaker 5:

God, I'm telling you, it's the Lamb of God tonight that will take away your sins.

Speaker 3:

It's the Lamb of God that will save you.

Speaker 5:

It's the Lamb of God that will keep you. It's the Lamb of God that will heal you. He's a great physician. He's a great I Am. He's the light of the world. He's the bread of life. He's the water of life. He's the water of life. He's the hope of all of them to have the trust in Him. He's the bright and morning star. He's the Alpha and the Omega. He's the beginning and the end. He's everlasting, from Almighty to Almighty. With Him there is no limit to His power. He can do what he wants to walk where he will Amen. He can ascend and descend, he can stay or he can go. He's alive forevermore and because of Him tonight We'll move and have our being. Hey, I'm feeling better now. Thank God for the Lamb of God. Hallelujah. Oh, isn't it wonderful tonight To know that God loved us enough.

Speaker 3:

That he took His only begotten Son and made Him into a lamb and sent Him for our redemption and sent Him to pay the ultimate price and sacrifice. And because of Him, tonight we're here in this church house shouting and singing Praise God, it's.

Speaker 5:

Jesus, that's what you need. I'll tell you what America needs. They don't.

Speaker 3:

We can get a little politics here. Watch it. Oh my God, we sure don't need what we've got now.

Speaker 5:

I'll put it that way and a lot of other things that I could go into detail, but what this world needs, what America needs, is not somebody to step on the moon not somebody to fly out of space.

Speaker 3:

It's not a new program, but we need the Lamb of.

Speaker 5:

God back before us and we look at Him as a nation and say it is he who paid the ultimate price and made the sacrifice that by his shed blood we are saved. Thank God forevermore for the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. When John saw him, he said behold the Lamb. Oh, hallelujah, there's a looking. Where's he at? I don't see no Lamb. I don't see him. I'll tell you what he was a Lamb in a man's body. Hey, hey, hey. Only God can do that.

Speaker 3:

And God was, in Christ Jesus, reconciling the world unto himself.

Speaker 5:

He sent his only begotten son, and they called him a lamb. They called him a savior, they called him every kind of name that ever could be named, but most of all, he was the Great I Am. He is the Everlasting, he is the Almighty. He is a bright and morning star. He's a strength when we're weak. He's our light when we're in darkness. He's our hope when we're hopeless. He's our joy when we're in sorrow. He's our hope when we're hopeless. He's our joy when we're in sorrow. He's our peace when we're in trouble.

Speaker 5:

The world, and because of him tonight we can shout the victory. I can say blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Blessed is the Lamb of God. Oh, thank God. He sits at the right hand of God, the Father. He's our high priest forever.

Speaker 5:

At the Lord of Melchizedek he makes a session for us, he pleads our case. He's our attorney in heaven. He's our representative in glory, he's our mediator. And go between us and the almighty, holy and righteous God that me and you can't approach. He can't approach you, almighty God, I'm talking about the Lamb. The Lamb, the Lamb of God, that's able to go before God and plead our case.

Speaker 5:

Who wouldn't want to shout? Who wouldn't want to worship? Who wouldn't want to worship? Who wouldn't want to praise? Who wouldn't want to glorify, who wouldn't want to magnify? Who wouldn't want to honor the Lamb of God? Praise God, clap for Him, shout for Him, rejoice because of Him. Give Him the glory because he's doing all. Honor Him because he's honorable. There's no sin in Him. Oh no, oh no. He's a sinless one. Oh yes, but he's not the helpless one. He's able to save the seeker. He's able to deliver the bounder. He's able to open the eyes of the blind. He's able, at night, to give hope to the hopeless. He's able to give the eyes of the blind. He's able, tonight, to give hope to the hopeless. He's able to give strength to the weak. He's able to give peace to the troubled. Oh, thank God. He's able to give hope to the dying.

Speaker 4:

Oh, my God.

Speaker 3:

Woo who is likened unto him. Who can you liken him unto? There is none like him, as humble, as a lamb, yet he is as strong than the strongest. He is a royal blood. He's an eternity. Praise God. He's before Abraham and he's going to be after Revelation 22 and 20. Praise God, I'm telling you, he's from everlasting to everlasting. Hey, before the sun ever shone, he was already shining in glory. Praise God. Oh, yes, stephen Soins is standing at the right hand of God, the Father. I'm telling you tonight, he is the Lamb. He's the Lamb that came as lowly and meek, but he's also ascended as a king to his throne. He sits at the right hand of God, the Almighty Father. Oh, what a great Lamb of God he is, what a Savior he is. Oh, isn't it something that we've seen people and I'm sure you have, and I know I have? I've seen people. There was no way they could be saved.

Speaker 3:

Glory to God, he saved them yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah, yeah, I ain't going to tell you Ain't none of your business how I used to be, but I can tell you one thing I wasn't no saint before.

Speaker 5:

And when he saved me, I went back down there where I worked.

Speaker 3:

And I went in there, Brother Johnson, and I walked back down there and some of them said my boss man.

Speaker 5:

In fact, he said hey, he said, they tell me, you got saved. I said I did.

Speaker 3:

They tell me you got that holy role of religion. I said that's the kind of guy Curtis. He said, as mean as you was, that's the kind you need. I thought, yeah, you need those things yourself. Praise God. Yeah, he amazes me still. He amazes me. It amazes me. That old boy that comes in all it amazes me, hello boy, that comes down all the way up out of St Louis, missouri 9th and Limey. That's down in Boca Bottom in St Louis, in case you don't know where that is. And I'm advising you right now don't go down there at night unless you really know God's sin in you, unless you want to see if you can survive it. But I'm telling you, I mean for me to preach down there. They had five men outside watching the cars. Yeah, I'm telling you, that's the bottom of the bottom In that church.

Speaker 3:

If you only wore a mini skirt and one of them did, and she had on cowboy boots and she thought she was homeless, and she had on cowboy boots and she thought she was homeless. She had on cowboy boots and a cowgirl skirt and it was about three or four inches too short and the fire must have been close by and it shrunk way on up and she had on a big old cowboy belt and they put her up there and sang and she could sing when he Rings those Golden Bells. Now, I love that song, I do when he Rings those Golden Bells for you. But she could yodel and she sang that song and yodeling goes, you know, one day out there right in the middle of the street, both of the Thompsons and the other crowd. They all got into it. Now they'd all come to church, but they all got into it Right in the middle of the street. They was fighting. I mean they was going at it. I mean it wasn't little stuff, neither I'm talking about. There's about 30 or 40 of them out there. They was going at it. One of them said you Now walk, take that.

Speaker 3:

That old boy come to that altar. That night he was on drugs, been on drugs, he'd been on I don't know. He couldn't carry on the conversation. You could ask him something or say something. He'd just you can ask him something or say something. What did you have for breakfast this morning? He came to all of that night and we got out and tried to pray with him and I said Ernie, ask the Lord to save you, ernie. Ernie, come on, buddy, come on, man, ask the Lord to save you. I said, ernie, say Jesus, save me. Jesus, ernie, come on now, listen to what I'm saying Now, say what I'm saying Now. Look at me, look here, say Jesus, saved me, jesus. That's it.

Speaker 3:

Revival closed. We were on our way home back down south, wasn't on the way home. I told you why. And I said so pitiful, so pitiful. I said that boyiful, so pitiful. I said that boy's done, burned his brains out. He ain't got enough mind to even pray. He ain't got enough mind. He'll be lost. I got a lot of money up there in that revival. I'll tell you that it gave me $35 for two weeks. Oh, thank you all for the offering, by the way. But anyway, I told you when I said that it's so pitiful, after we finally sat down. He sat down. People come by and speak to him. We're glad you come. I mean, that was it. I said they loved us and we loved them. And if you've just done things like smoking, cussing, doing things like that, you're a saint down there.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to tell you I'm talking about this place is corncob rough. Of course that's too much theology on some of you. You don't know what I'm talking about. We loved them and they loved us so much. I was back up there nine months later. The first person who met me at that door was Ernie. Brother Neil, I couldn't hardly wait for you to get here, and you and Sister Bridges. I've been longing. I've been telling Brother Puckett, please, I want them to hurry up and come on. Tell them to come on early. I want to see them. I want to tell them what the Lord's done for me. I want to tell them how much he's done for me. Who was that? That was old Ernie down there that couldn't say nothing but Jesus. Why? Because of one lamb called Jesus, because of the Lamb of God, hallelujah. I gave up on him. I said he'll never make it, but Jesus said he's mine.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to take him and I'm going to change him and I'm going to show you what I can do with a life of failure a life of burnout, a life that's nothing, a life that's on drugs, and he never took another dope, another drug another thing One night out there somebody locked the car, locked the car, the keys in the car and they couldn't get in.

Speaker 3:

He said to one of the brothers. He said say, have you got a credit card? And the brother said, well, yeah, yeah, I got a credit card. He said let me have your credit card. He said, man, what are you going to do with my credit card? He said just let me have your credit card.

Speaker 5:

He said what are you going?

Speaker 3:

to do with my credit card. Just give me your credit card. So he finally gave it to him. He walked over and took that credit card that door, opened that car door and had his credit card back. Man how did you do that? He said, I ain't been saved too long.

Speaker 5:

Hallelujah.

Speaker 3:

I'm talking about a lamb tonight that went to the slaughter. A lamb to the slaughter Open, not his mouth. He was done before his sharers, but he pled our case in heaven.

Speaker 5:

He might not have spoke so much to Pilate, but he spoke a whole lot in heaven, hallelujah.

Speaker 3:

He might not have said a whole lot to the world and to Pilate's crowd, but he spoke enough that we could be redeemed and be saved and be what we are by the grace of God.

Speaker 5:

He made us what I am. Hallelujah, glory be to God. I don't know about you, but I'm not what I was and I'm what I was not, and I'm what I am because of him. Behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the world. I don't care who you are, what your name is, where you're from, what you're into and what you've done. He's able to save you tonight.

Speaker 4:

Thank you God. Thank you God, yes sir.

Speaker 3:

It's amazing how I study one message for three days and don't even preach it Right A lot of times. I'm one of them, hip shooters anyway. But when I seen them sheep out, I seen them sheep out, John Marshall. I seen them sheep out and of course I didn't talk to them about it and told them something. But when I seen them sheep I said, hmm, you know what sheep? They're innocent Sheep. Let me tell you something else. Maybe your pastor might have known the brothers from Oklahoma, Brother Richard and Clarence McDaniel. I don't know if you knew them, Maybe you did. They've both gone on to glory now, Both of them preachers there from California.

Speaker 3:

Their daddy was a shepherd. I mean several hundreds of sheep. They were raised on a sheep farm. Now, listen to this, You're going to love this one. You're going to love this one. And every time I'd get around I'd be picking about sheep. I wouldn't know if I could, because there was a lamb that redeemed me. And they said Brother Clarence told me one time he said, Brother Nils, if what, we would watch if one of those sheep get whored, that it wouldn't eat like it ought to and go to losing weight and go to getting whored.

Speaker 3:

It wasn't eating like it should. We'd get to watching it close, so what it was doing a lot of times, if we knew that we had all the parasites off of it nothing to buy out there, but still it was losing weight, not doing like it ought to. So we'd get to watching it, and so what it would do it would be nibbling on the other sheep. And nibbling on those other sheep it would get wool between its teeth and it would affect its appetite and it would go to losing weight and go to getting weak and if we didn't take that wool out between his teeth and clean it out, it would perish to death. Uh, but there's a lamb. He wasn't caught in a thicket as a ram. He wasn't caught in a thicket as a ram. He went to Calvary and I'm going to tell you tonight and again, thank you for letting me come, Brother Johnson, I wish I could have done better for you, but I feel this.

Speaker 3:

Somebody here tonight you need to know more about Him. You need to draw an eye to Him and He'll draw an eye unto you. You need to come closer and get more acquainted with Him. That I may know Him. Paul said, in the power of His death and resurrection, that I may know Him. I've found with some people, the more I know them, the less I really appreciate them. But the more I know about Him, the more I'm thankful and appreciate Him. He's highly to be esteemed. He's worthy of all honor. All glory belongs to Him, Amen, Amen.

Speaker 3:

And if tonight you're here and you want to know more about Him, you can, yes, sir, have a personal experience with Him On a daily basis. Stand with us, please. Would you tonight want such a one that can save you? I'm telling you, when you look at me, I'm a nobody. Telling everybody about somebody that can save anybody. I'm telling you, Ernie, I said there ain't no way. And then when I go back, nine months later, the first man meets me at the door is old Ernie. Oh, I couldn't hardly wait for you to get here.

Speaker 3:

I couldn't hardly wait for you to get here. I want you to know what all they've done. All they've done. I mean, you know sometimes, I want you to know what all they've done. All they've done. I mean, you know sometimes, and I understand and I get pretty wild myself, but sometimes we think it's got to be a huckabuck down there in free fall. But all I've done is just say Jesus. Never said Jesus saved me, just said Jesus, that was all. That was all, but that's what he needed. Sing, that's all. That's all, but that's what he needed. Sing for us. When you're ready, Would you like to come tonight? Come without money, come without price. It ain't going to cost you nothing if you'll come tonight. Come on tonight. Hallelujah, let's pray. Come on and pray. Thank you Jesus, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you Lord, thank you.

Speaker 5:

Lord, Thank you Lord, Thank you Lord.

Speaker 6:

Let them let you in the Father, jesus never opened his mouth. From the trial to the crucifixion, to the grave he was laid out After three days in the garden tomb. I can hear the angels sing as the Lamb came forth.

Speaker 6:

As the Lamb and the lion became the king, and you won't find him again at the whipping post standing there so meek, and he will be nailed to a rugged cross through his hands and through his feet. Oh, there'll never be another Calvary, because you don't have to prove one thing the day the Lamb became the law and the law became the king, you won't find him again at the whipping post, standing there so meek, and he won't be nailed to a rugged cross through his hands and through his feet. There'll never be another Calvary cause you don't have to prove one thing.

Speaker 6:

In the days, the Lamb became the Lord and the Lamb became the King. Well, jesus left his splendor to live on earth as a man, but most he was rejected because he came forth as a lamb. But the day is soon approaching that every eye shall see the lamb. The Lion of Judah has been crowned the King of Kings. Oh, you won't find him again at the whipping post, standing there so meek, and he won't be nailed to a rugged cross through his hands and through his feet.

Speaker 6:

There'll never be another Calvary Cause he don't have to prove one thing the day the Lamb became the Lion, the Lion became the King. Oh you won't find him again at the whipping post, standing there so meek, and he won't be nailed to a rugged cross Through his hands and through his feet. There'll never be another Calvary Cause. He don't have to prove one thing the day the lamb became the lion and the lion became the king.

Speaker 4:

Praise the Lord. While Brother Bridges was preaching about the Lamb of God, my mind went to this scripture. I'd like to read it to you here Before we stop praying in this altar service here tonight. In Revelation, chapter number five, the bible said I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne, a book written within, on the backside sealed with seven seals. I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice who is worthy to open the book and to loose the seals thereof. No man in heaven nor on earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon, and I wept much because no man was found worthy to open and read the book, neither to look thereon.

Speaker 4:

One of the elders came to me and said Weep not. Behold the lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, hath prevailed to open the book and loose the seven seals thereof. And I beheld and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, in the midst of the elders, stood a lamb, as it had been slain. Praise God. Stood a lamb, as it had been slain, hallelujah, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth from the earth and he took the book out of the right hand of Him that sat on the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having, every one of them hearts, golden vials full of odors, which are the prayers of the saints, and they sung a new song saying Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof, for Thou was slain and has redeemed us to God by Thy blood, out of every kindred, every tongue, every people and nation, and I like this. This is what the Lamb does for us, and he made us unto our God, kings and priests, and we shall reign on the earth.

Speaker 4:

I think we ought to behold the Lamb tonight. I said I think we ought to behold the Lamb If heaven bows down and worships the Lamb, if the four and twenty elders and the beasts that are in heaven and all of the angels in heaven Are bowing before the Lamb and worshiping the Lamb, you and I, that has been redeemed by the blood. Not one angel, brother Bridges, knows what it's like To be redeemed, but you and I have been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. Glory be to God. I say we ought to be able to rejoice and shout because the Lamb of God, amen, the Lamb of God, hallelujah, you say, preacher. I heard it all night long. Yeah, but we ought to behold Him, we ought to take another look at Him. Praise the Lamb of God, amen.

Speaker 4:

I remember years ago, brother Don Rich, amen. I appreciate and I say it respectfully our elder preachers, praise God. God's taken a lot of them on to heaven and I'm so glad Brother Bridges was with us right here tonight. Praise God. But I remember Brother Rich Amen preaching years ago on John the Baptist. Whenever you know, he said Behold the Lamb that taketh away the sin of the world. But he got in trouble and he got discouraged when he was put in prison and he sent his disciples and says Go and ask him. Should we look for another? Amen.

Speaker 4:

And Brother Rich preached that message on Don't look for another, just take another look. Amen. Just look at the Lamb again, look at who he is and look at what he's doing. Amen, don't look for somebody else, just take another look at the Lamb. And that's what this man of God has preached to us right here tonight Amen. And you and I ought to cast our eyes upon the Lamb Because he's our Redeemer and he's our Healer. He is our Deliverer, he is our Waymaker. Why? He's our healer, he is our deliverer, he is our way maker. Why don't you lift your hands and worship Him while they sing just a little bit about the Lamb of God? Lord, we thank you tonight, lord, we worship you tonight and we praise you tonight for the Lamb of God. Sing it, girls.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah. This is pastor philip steel from pentecostal lighthouse in pekin, illinois, and one of the contributing members of the HBO team. We're so glad that you joined us today. We pray that you've been blessed, encouraged and uplifted through this message. May you continue to walk victoriously in the hope of His calling. God bless.
