We are all in different places in our walk.  Some are babes.  Some are wiser.  We can be babes and wise at the same time, just in different areas.  A wise Christian will recognize that someone more milky is sharing and be patient with where they are.  A more milky Christian needs to understand that not everything everyone shares is necessarily for them or necessarily correct.  It is best to make Jesus your shepherd and spend time with Him every day so He can teach you.  (This is what I do.)  ❤️  Love you!

Good morning. I just heard, and I'm surprised, that many people don't know the gospel, the real gospel. What is the real gospel of Jesus? Because depending on where you heard it, there are wrong versions of it out there. I did not know this. I didn't know it. So we're so we're gonna discuss really quick the actual gospel. What is the real gospel of Jesus Christ? And here it is. Jesus came to the earth. Jesus died. Jesus was resurrected three days later. And the gospel of the kingdom adds, He's coming back. That's it. You have to have all of those. Now, inside of all of that is a world of information. It's a world of information. But what I want you to walk away with is this. When Jesus died on that cross, he he bought, he purchased not only us, but but things for us. Things such as salvation, healing, deliverance, prosperity, and that doesn't equal money, prosperity, protection, being made whole, being set apart, being rescued. There are more things to that. So you have to know whether you're a new believer or you've been a believer for a really long time and just stagnant. To come out of that stagnancy and come back to this fresh knowledge and excitement of what living for Christ means, it means that not only were we saved, we were justified, but we are still being saved or sanctified, becoming more like Christ. And we will all we will be saved, which is glorification, meaning you can see Jesus in me because I love my love and my mercy and my grace towards other people helps them see Jesus in me. It never ends. It's in the past, it's in it's today, and it's in the future. Everything he bought for us. It's not, it wasn't a one-time deal. It's still happening today, and it's always going to happen. So then you can go on to heal healed. I have really struggled with this because it seemed because I I've always heard that he by his stripes we were healed. Uh, that we already have it, and I don't, and people around me don't. I'm looking around and they don't. And I pray. I've seen healing, but not always. I don't understand. I'm still trying to understand this. But I know that we were healed by his stripes. We are still being healed today, and it will can it will just continue. Healing is ours. I remember going to a church, and there was a lady who had uh a daughter with special needs, and if anything could go wrong, it was continually going wrong. And at one point, she had had one parent had given her a kidney, that kidney was failing, the other parent had given her a kidney, that kidney was failing, and now they were looking for another kidney. I remember praying because it says, um, you know, your faith will move mountains. I prayed with everything I had, knowing that that mountain was going to move, because that's what scripture said. And I prayed and I prayed and I prayed, and she was not healed. And I was mad at God. I was mad because I didn't understand. I took him at his word and she wasn't healed. And I think the lesson there was just because I pray, I don't get to be God. There are other things going on that I know not of. He knows everything going on over there. I don't know any of it. He knows the plan for her life. I don't know. I don't know. So I think that if God gave me the ability to pray and you're healed immediately, I would start to think I'm like God because all I have to do is speak and someone is healed. I don't think that would be good for me at all. So I was mad at God that she wasn't healed, but the maturity, the education I got was maturity that, okay, I'm not God. And I don't see everything that's going on, and I don't know what the destiny of this person is. He does. He I prayed, he chose, he heard it, and he loved it, but he chose not for this one, not for this, because I'm doing something over here. So there was maturity in the learning, but there is healing, and we never stop believing for it because it's there. It's there. We never stop believing. There's deliverance, uh, prosperity, and that that can include money. I would call myself prosperous. I don't have a million dollars in the bank, but my bills get paid. I would call that prosperity. I honestly, that's really all I care about. Just paying the bills and living a joyful life and living for the Lord. That's really all I care about. Prosperity, I have that. Uh remember the dream where I'm standing in the kitchen with my with my brothers and sisters and my husband, and there's nothing in the kitchen because the house has just been purchased. But the kitchen is fantastic. It's beautiful, it's gorgeous to look at. And I know that all I have to do is ask my father, and he will get me, he'll get me. If I want a coffee maker, he'll go get it. So I'll come over to his. It was my father's house in the dream. Um, so you know, I all I have to do is ask. Hey, can you stock it with my favorite drink? So when I come over here, I can have my favorite drink. Yeah, he was in that dream. Yeah, he was gonna do that too. What, you know, whatever I wanted. And what a picture of prayer. What a picture of prayer. Just ask. You you have not because you asked not. Just ask. You know, he's got reasons. It's he's not a he's not a genie. We don't get to rub the lamp and get three wishes. There is destiny on our lives, there's things with our heart that he's dealing with, and he knows if I don't give it to you today, you will mature, you will keep looking for it, and you will mature in that way, and you'll get it down the road. But I need that maturity. His ways are so much higher than our ways. I I so many times I asked for something, did not get it, got mad, and quit talking to him. I did that so many times because I didn't understand, I didn't understand maturity and sanctification and all and glorification, becoming more like Christ. I I didn't understand any of that. I just wanted what I wanted. And that is also asking with the faith of a child. I wanted what I wanted. You said I could have this if I asked. I want it. Don't you know he absolutely loves, he loves those prayers. But his ways are higher than ours and his thoughts are higher than ours. He has a different ending that he's trying to get you to. But never stop trying. Don't ever stop trying. This is the fun in Christianity. It's fun, it's exciting, and it's new. And and if we've gotten into this rut of this is what my religion looks like, I go to church on Sunday, this is what it looks like. I do the same thing, I volunteer, I go home on Sunday, I live my life for the rest of the week, um, exactly like I do every week. And then on Sunday I get to go back. If that is what your life in Christ has been reduced to, you have forgotten the newness, the excitement of what this life can be in Christ, and how exciting this life can be. Go back to him, repent for walking away, repent for believing in something that wasn't true, you know, that he's boring, and ask for forgiveness and say, show me, show me the newness. Remind my heart and my and my soul of the excitement in Christ, of what this life can actually look like, of where I can go and what I can do and how I can be anointed to do things for you, and the gifts you've given me that I can start using for you. So Jesus looks good, not me, but Jesus looks good. I mean, it's so exciting, this life in Christ. We are protected, we're protected always. Do you believe that? You might so if you don't believe that, ask him to start showing you how he's protecting you throughout the day and the night and the next day. Ask him to show you how you are protecting me because I don't see it. I lock my doors at night and I hope no one breaks in. All right, is that your life? Sh ask God to show you how he is protecting you because this happened in the Old Testament with Elisha. It was Elisha and his servant, Gehazi, I think was his name. They're in a tent. Think of their, think of them on a on a little hill, and they the Gehazi looks out the tent in the morning and they're completely surrounded. I don't know whose army it was, I don't know if it was an other nation or Israel was after him. I can't remember, but they're completely surrounded by chariots. Can you imagine? It's like you look outside your door and you're completely surrounded by SWAT team. Guns trained. That was that was the fear that hit Gehazi in the gut. Wow, you're not getting out of this one, right? So he he see he goes back in the tent, he says, Elisha, we're and Elisha could care less. He's like, la la la la la. He's like, oh my gosh, we're completely surrounded. We're gonna die. We're gonna die. And Elisha says, Lord, show him, open his eyes so that he can see what I see. And so Gehazi looks at the tent again, and he still sees the SWAT team, you know, surrounding the tent. But now he sees a bigger, more numerous SWAT team surrounding his tent, pointing out at their SWAT team. And that which was protecting Elisha and Gehazi was so much bigger and stronger than that other army could ever be. Protection that we know not of. There is protection that we know not of. Um, I was recently in a in a car accident, which was surprising because I pray and I know I'm protected because I've already been, I've already done this, I've been through this. I know how he protects me. It's crazy how I'll be driving down the road and I'll just I'll I'll zone out. You know how you zone out when you when you drive the same thing every day? You just kind of zone out, you're in your mind for a bit, and then bam, I come back right as somebody is making a move that would cause an accident, uh, and I'm able to step on the brakes. That's God. One time I was driving down the road and I was about to miss my exit, my my turn. And, you know, as I'm getting there, I come, you know, I'm like, I come back to myself and I'm like, oh, I think that's it. And then I see the sign, oh, that is it. I was gonna miss it. I was gonna go. I mean, he's just always involved. He's always involved. If you don't see him, it's because you don't see him. He's there and he's involved. So you ask him, show me how you are protecting me, and he will start showing you. And don't dismiss what he shows you as coincidence. This is faith. We live in a world of faith. If he shows you something, take it in, recognize it, and say, okay, I'm going to choose to believe that that wasn't just coincidence because I usually write it off as coincidence. Not today. Today, I'm going to see it, I'm going to recognize it. I'm going to believe in faith that that was God protecting me. I was in an accident recently, which was surprising to me because I know how he protects me. I know it. But I was in an accident. She pulled out in front of me. We with no time to stop. I don't even know if I had time to hit the brakes. I don't even re- I don't know. Um, but we hit all the airbags deployed. It was jarring. I didn't go to the hospital. I didn't break anything. I wasn't bleeding. I was full of adrenaline. So I did not go to the hospital. I just came home, didn't sleep, I think, but maybe two hours that night. Every time I closed my eyes, I had that last picture in my head of right as we were hitting. And I couldn't let it go. So I was up a lot that night. And at some point during that night, I got this picture in my head of Jesus grabbing me in a bear hug right as we hit. And I thought, as I continued to think about that, I thought, you know, it is interesting. I had a bruise from the lap belt. I had bruises from the airbag on my left, but I had no, I had no shoulder belt bruise. And the fireman said, Oh, it'll come, you know, give it time. You'll you'll have a bruise. I never, I never got a shoulder belt bruise, which was really interesting. Uh I had other bruises, but I didn't have that bruise. And I had that picture in my mind of him just bear hugging me before it. So I sat down in my quiet time the next day and I was like, I, Lord, I got this picture of Jesus just bear hugging me during that accident, you know, my torso, like a hug, you know, my torso. And so I was writing it down and I was talking to the Lord about it, and I was like, I didn't get a bruise. I don't have a shoulder belt bruise. And and I thought, well, because I it wouldn't have been me that hit. It would have been Jesus' back that hit the shoulder belt. And I sat here and I said, Jesus, do you have a bruise on your back? For me? It just it took his crucifixion to the next level for me. It became personal. And I don't know that that's true, but it my my heart just melted when I thought I he might have a bruise on his back for me. I was willing to take that bruise, but I don't have it. He might. That meant so much to me. It's and it's deeper than I even know at this moment, I think. You know? Um at that time, I think the the Lord had given me some dreams. He was moving me into a new season, and that season would be intercession. I don't know a lot about it. I'm learning little by little what that means and what it looks like because I I I've not learned that much. I haven't gone to a church that went in depth about it, you know? So I'm learning, and my husband and I came to the conclusion that that was most likely an attack from the enemy because I was moving into a new season and that accident was an attack. Well, it still leaves me with the question of why did he allow it? Because I know he protects me, but he allowed that. Why did he allow that? He not only allowed it, he kept me safe in it. I mean, I've got aches and pains, and and I've got physical therapy to go to, but but largely I'm okay. I had a concussion, um, and somebody prayed for me. And from that moment to now, my head has been completely clear. I've had a concussion before, it was a long time ago. I hit the microwave door with my head, and oh wow, I saw stars. Uh, and that was some pain. And then my brain didn't work very well after that. That was years ago. But and so I was feeling those same things again until that person prayed for me. That it didn't fix my aches and pains, or it didn't fix whiplash um or the sciatica that I'm feeling, but the concussion completely gone. Completely gone. So he heals one thing, he doesn't heal another, right? What's he doing? He allows this and he doesn't allow that. What's he doing? Um, be I can't, as I talked to him that next morning, and I I knew that we thought it was an attack because I'm going into this new season, and I thought, you know, when Jesus grabbed me, is that not interceding? When he grabbed me during that crash and he bear hugged me, he interceded for me. Did he not? And I thought, wait, is that intercession? Did you just teach me what intercession is through this accident? Like grabbing onto somebody. I know intercession is standing between God, uh, according to Derek Prince, between God and the object of his wrath, saying, wait, wait, wait, can we just talk about this? I know that's a part of it. But I think another part of it is grabbing onto someone who is headed for an accident, grabbing them, being willing to take a bruise for them, loving them, and praying deeply for them. And that's what I learned through that accident. So I can't stand on he didn't protect me. It's not true. Everything, there's no coincidences in Christianity, in following God. There's no coincidence. Uh, there's no accidents. Everything he knows he knows everything. I just had this thought. Well, what about people who have been horrible accidents? I I don't know. I can't speak for them. I'm sure they have map incredible testimonies of God. I'm sure that they do. Um, I but I've not lived that one. I lived this one. I lived it. And he showed me that picture, and I learned this incredibly personal, loving, being willing to take a bruise, intercession for another person, which I have started. I started doing that. Um, and saying, okay, who can I grab? Who do you want me to grab this morning? I'm just gonna grab and I will be willing to take a bruise for them. What a beautiful picture of intercession that came out of a car accident, a car accident. And I st my neck still hurts and my back still hurts, but I'm I'm I'm willing to say, okay, I I trust you, God. I trust you. I will be fine, but I'm so glad that I learned this. I'm I'm so glad that I know this now at such a deep personal level. So we are that is a thing that Jesus bought for us when he died on the cross. Protection. We have it. We have it. Psalm 91 doesn't apply to everyone, psalm 91 applies to those who abide in him. So be a person who abides in him. And and Psalm 91 is yours. It's yours. We are made whole. He purchased that on the cross. We're set apart, we are rescued. This life with Christ is so exciting. And if you are not sitting in excitement about this, there's something you don't know. I'm just gonna leave that there. Go find it. Go to him and find this excitement in Christ. This is a great life. What I keep saying, my sister has been one that says, I want out of here. This world is terrible. I want heaven. And my I this I went the other way. I say to God on a fairly regular basis, just let me do some damage to Satan's kingdom before I'm out of here. I just want to do some damage before I'm out of here. So give me some more time to do some damage and teach me how to do some damage. So I started saying that to her. I was like, no, don't want to get to heaven so fast. Do some damage while you're here. And then when you're out of here, it's even that much better. Do some damage. So I just want to tell you, if you think that the Christian life is boring, it could be an attack of the enemy to keep you down. Ask God for deliverance. Ask him to show you that. Ask him to show you when that started. And if it's if if it's a sin that you participated in that has dulled your senses, could be that. Could be that you never knew how awesome this can be. It's so exciting. It is so great to walk with him on a daily basis. It's like nothing you've ever experienced. Like nothing you've ever experienced. And if you're not a Christian, you can't partake in this. Um, when we are saved, we get a new mind and he and a new heart. And it is those two things that enable us to experience this kingdom. So if you're not saved, you just you can't experience it. You just can't. You have to have that salvation, that belief of what that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. Um, he paid the price for our sins, and in faith and belief, we believe that in faith. Um, and we give the rest of our lives to him. What do you want me to do? How can I serve you? What can I do for you? And then this whole new world opens up. It's a whole nother world over on this side. It's very, very exciting. So I hope that you get some excitement in your Christian walk today because it's there for you. All you gotta do is go take it. Do some work and go take it. So we'll see you next time. Bye.
