And the story disappeared almost as fast as it surfaced. Why did a fleet of mysterious drones fly over a US military base for 17 days, and why don't we have answers? In December 2024, langley Air Force Base in Virginia, home to F-22 Raptors and key intelligence units, was buzzed nightly by unidentified drones. The incursions lasted over two weeks. Some drones were large fixed-wing types, others were quadcopters. The Pentagon confirmed the incidents, but still has not identified who was behind them or what their purpose was. So let's think first. If these drones weren't hostile, why did they keep returning and why couldn't we stop them? Why did it take weeks for the public to hear about this and why is the story already fading? How can we trust official narratives when they downplay events that clearly alarmed military leadership? And if this wasn't a foreign threat, what does that say about our ability to protect critical airspace? The smartest people aren't the loudest. They're the ones asking the right questions.
