Think First: A Gaslight 360 Podcast with Jim Detjen
Think First is a short-form podcast that makes you pause — before you scroll, share, or believe the headline.
Hosted by Jim Detjen, a guy who’s been gaslit enough to start a podcast about it, Think First dives into modern narratives, media manipulation, and cultural BS — all through the lens of gaslighting and poetic truth.
Some episodes are two minutes. Some are ten. It depends on the story — and the energy drink situation.
No rants. No lectures. Just sharp questions, quick insights, and the occasional laugh to keep things sane.
Whether you’re dodging spin in the news, politics, or that “trust me, bro” post in your feed… take a breath. Think first.

UAPs Are Real — So Why Is Everyone So Quiet?
This episode is from our first week — where we were workshopping the format, voice, and rhythm in real time. The message still matters. The delivery just gets better.

U.S. officials have confirmed the existence of unidentified aerial phenomena. Pilots, whistleblowers, and even members of Congress say there’s more to the story — including recovered craft and secret programs. But instead of public outrage or urgency, we’re met with silence, distraction, and a shrug. In today’s Think First, we ask: When the government says the unexplainable is real… why do they act like it’s not?
Stay sharp. Stay skeptical. #SpotTheGaslight

Today's Clarity Question why does the government tell us UAPs are real, then act like it's not a big deal? For years, the idea of UFOs was mocked or dismissed, but now members of Congress, military pilots and former intelligence officials are going on record. They're not just saying something's out there, they're saying there's data, programs and even recovery efforts. The public has not been told about Yet, despite official hearings, declassified footage and bipartisan concern. Despite official hearings, declassified footage and bipartisan concern. The media rarely leads with it and most people move on as if nothing happened. So let's think first. Why is it that the government now admits UAPs exist but still keeps so much classified? When officials testify under oath about reverse engineering and non-human craft? Why is there so little follow-up? How does the public grow numb to something so extraordinary? Is it overload, distraction or design? And when did disbelief in government become so strong that even shocking truths barely register? The smartest people aren't the loudest. They're the ones asking the right questions.
