It’s just Justyce and Eli back in the studio after a 4 month hiatus. The boys talk about what happened with the pod and why it took so long. They missed y'all, and y'all missed them, so please sit back relax and enjoy the episode.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, who's back. The boys are back in the studio. Did you get like kind of nervous for a second? A little bit. Like right when the intro was played, it was like, damn, we're going live. It's a good feeling. It's good to be back. Yeah, it is. I know a lot of people have been asking. They're all bitches. They've all been just kidding. It's like every time I see someone who I who happens to listen to the pod. Where's the pod? Yeah, what's going on? I guess we should discuss that. There's not much to discuss, but I mean not really. Just give people nothing really happened. There's no fallout or anything. Like I had a except for Z. I had a couple people ask me, like, are you are y'all good? Like everybody thought we were fighting each other? Yeah, everyone thought we were going through a breakup or something like that. That wasn't the case.

SPEAKER_05

Since the beginning of time, that's just how me and Justice have been.

SPEAKER_03

It just kind of like just a roller coaster, but there's but nothing happens.

SPEAKER_05

It's just we stop and then we're like, all right, ready? Alright, cool. And then we'll just start talking again.

SPEAKER_03

But like we and that's the thing is we don't like bother each other with it.

SPEAKER_05

I don't even know if bothers the right word, but yeah, I I mean in that's how I put it.

SPEAKER_03

I know what you mean. Like I don't we don't address it. There's nothing like to address, is what I'm trying to say. We just got uh life just got a little hectic. That was the biggest thing around the holidays, and then I think everyone's plates were pretty full for a while.

SPEAKER_05

We did record one. I I talked about it on that episode too, but I guess nobody could fucking cover it. But I was like, I just kind of got like kind of burnt out on it. I just wasn't like we first started, I was all over everything podcast related, like listening to other people's shit, ours, then we moved, and we I started doing it, which I still like doing it, it doesn't matter, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But I don't know, it was like a little burnout-ish, and then you know, yeah, it got I think overall it just got a little overwhelming. Yeah. Just for a brief moment, but for those of you who happen to watch the YouTube, the YouTube's gonna be down for the time being, just due to camera issues.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

We had gotten it situated, but I think that's what was making it the most difficult. And I think that's why there's just a lot easier ways to do that, and the only way we could do it was like the most difficult. So we had to take a little step back, and I think we just needed to reassess, and I think both of us kind of throughout our whole lives, we always just go back to the roots. Yeah, that's where we're at now. So you'll have audio podcasts for quite some time.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, bitch about it and you'll get banned. I don't give a fuck.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, it feels really good to be banned.

SPEAKER_05

No, it does. I was thinking about it when did I text you? Was it Sunday? Sunday night. So like that the the whole week, I was just I kept thinking about it. I was like, fuck, dude. I really want to do it. You know, I was just thinking the whole week, like what we could do. And then I found out I was gonna move houses. So I was like, all right, well, we need to at least get a couple out in the coming weeks and then figure out what we're gonna do after that.

SPEAKER_03

So I will say I I I started to get a little in my head about a lot of things. Yeah. Like I I couldn't really pinpoint it until D told me. But it's kind of going into like a little depressive state. Not like depressed completely, because I there's nothing really there.

SPEAKER_05

It's just there's a word for it, I'm trying to think.

SPEAKER_03

There's just a little void. Yeah, there's a little hole. You're missing something, yeah. That's what it was. And so it feels really, really good to be back.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. That night, too. I was thinking about it, I was like, fuck, I'm just gonna tell him, bro. Like, we can go ahead and do it. We'll just cut the video for a little bit until we get actually situated, fully situated with it, and then ramp all the way up.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, we'll we'll get back to where we need to be, where we were.

SPEAKER_05

But ain't nothing wrong with little audio, baby. Y'all know what we look like.

SPEAKER_03

Time time to give the people what they've been asking for. They want episode.

SPEAKER_05

Just an episode, man.

SPEAKER_03

Need something to listen to. So here you go. We're back. So if anyone thought anything was going on, it literally did not. Like there's literally nothing. It just a lot was going on in our personal lives, and it kind of just Yeah, these shit was ramping up.

SPEAKER_05

This was just I was I was playing in a COD league, just practicing every night and shit. I mean, that's really it. Yeah. I mean, I was just I would get home and I would hop straight on, practice, practice, practice, and have a match.

SPEAKER_03

And I I had just gotten a new position at work, and that was kind of overwhelming.

SPEAKER_05

Just like learning a bunch of new shit that you could tell too in those last few episodes when you did get it, it was just kind of I don't know. I felt like we all needed a break.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we're back though.

SPEAKER_05

Well, at least us two. Yeah. Z, like, I wouldn't say he'll be on every episode or even every other episode. I kind of just he'll he'll he'll show up out of the blue every once in a while. I mean, he always he has a seat, so he goes through this pretty often.

SPEAKER_03

Kind of seems like more than we do. Yeah, similar to us, but a lot more reoccurring. He'll just kind of disappear. You just kind of don't hear from him, and then you hear from him a little bit, but it you can tell it's not the full Z experience.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But he's got a new romance, so that that's where all his energy is going. It's funny.

SPEAKER_05

It's funny rage rating him about it. And he says he doesn't get rage rated when he does.

SPEAKER_03

He does, he gets so mad.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And he'll be like, nice try. You're not gonna give me anything. I'm like, dude, you you already got. I don't know what you're talking about. You're already mad. But there's nothing going on with him either. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

As far as like us fighting and shit.

SPEAKER_03

No, it's just typical.

SPEAKER_05

If you see some crazy banter on like Facebook or anything, that's just how we talk to each other. It's not like we're beefing for real.

SPEAKER_03

Group chat is way worse. Yeah, it is way worse. I think the coolest thing is like we've had our circle. I mean it's kind of like grown in a lot of our friends out of each other's lives. Like you had friends that I didn't know, yeah, but then they started coming into the picture where we were all like interacting. Same with like Santana. Like, we Santana started coming around. And so like now everyone is aware and knows of each other and has had interactions to the point where when we do start getting into our little social media beef, we're just not even like we're just joking around. It's just the way we talk to each other, it's just how we fuck around with each other. Now there's more people in on it. I love it, I love it. And in a sense, it it's kind of kind of like that's where the pod went to with just us fucking around on commenting on each other's posts and stuff like that.

SPEAKER_05

Because if you listen to like the first few months of when we were doing it, it doesn't sound anything like it. That is like now, yeah. Uh and people were like told us that at the beginning, I was like, dude, like shut up, like whatever. Yeah. We want to run it. And then it changed on its own. Like we didn't, you know, just kind of adapted to it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we just kind of come in here and talk, but I was talking about that last night with uh D and one of her friends, and we're just kind of talking about she was like, What is the show even about? I was like, Nothing. It anything and nothing at the same time. There's times where we do get into kind of like where we started, there's times where we get deep, and then there's times where we're just fucking around.

SPEAKER_05

It'll be like another month or two before we talk about anything like that again.

SPEAKER_03

It kind of I think the biggest thing was that once we started talking about it and we were able to sit in a room together and just air everything out that was going through our brains, I feel like that kind of was the therapy itself to where we didn't need to as much. Yeah, it kind of had a fixation of its own.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Cause some of those conversations got like deep, deep. Yeah. I mean, I've I mean I everybody knows everything about me, so I mean, I got nothing to hide. I mean, none of us do. We but like even those deep conversations about like what we're thinking and shit, is it's pretty wild. I I mean people enjoy listening to it a lot more than I thought, yeah. Until we took this break, and then people are hitting me up. Yeah, just same, you know, same with you and everything.

SPEAKER_03

It says a lot because I was hearing about it and no one ever like reaches out to me. Like, I'm gonna leave him alone. But no, that wasn't the case.

SPEAKER_05

I just got busy, man, and the motivation for it just I wasn't feeling it personally.

SPEAKER_03

But now sitting here and like talking, like now it feels nice. I'm like juiced up. I'm like, yeah, yeah, I'm excited for the next one.

SPEAKER_05

Well, the the music was playing, I was like, fuck. Kind of like it was it felt like the first felt like the first time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's like opening day. It was like opening day. Yeah. National anthem just finished up.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I was like, yeah, I was sitting here like getting juiced up. Little little butterflies. Yeah. No, it's it's crazy. I was laying down, I was like, I'm just texting, dude. We need to get something going. I need to I don't even need to talk, I just need to be in here and you know, and and do this and go to the motions and shit. Cause the past like few months, like I'm great, everything's fucking fantastic right now, but it's just like during the week, it's just the same motions and shit.

SPEAKER_03

You have to switch it up. Yeah, and as much as this starts to eventually get into that, like become part of the routine, it's so unpredictable that it's yeah, as much as it's the same us sitting here talking, you don't know what we're gonna talk about. Like, we usually never have any idea what we're gonna say. We don't even know what we're gonna talk about. Yeah, that's right. Right before we started to you got notes? Nope. All right, me neither. Like there's been times where we're sitting here talking about all our trauma in our lives, and then other times we're talking about when you sit yourself.

SPEAKER_05

Remember that time we got fucked up and blocked out? Yeah, that was crazy. Oh man. Yeah. What's going on, man? Other than that, anything new in the past November? Probably like six or four months, four or five months.

SPEAKER_04

Is it four? Four or five.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I think we recorded right after Thanksgiving, and then that was the last one that that aired.

SPEAKER_03

Um, yeah, life's good. I mean, it's going. Playing a lot of golf, that's right where I want to be. Just golfing pretty much every weekend if I can.

SPEAKER_05

I'm so soggy, I can't play in that fucking tournament. I just gotta get this house cleaned up, man. There's a lot of work to do.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, but there'll be plenty more. Oh, yeah. Even on the weekends, we uh usually try to do it every weekend. Lou said he texted you about it. We played like a little money match, blind draw. Did you play in this past one too? Yeah, I've played in uh all of them so far. I've done like two or three.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, he texted me. I was like, fuck, dude, I just can't. And then I had my daughter too, so I don't want to just dump her off. We'll have to get you out there. I'd rather do it whenever you know it's it's my my weekend or my free weekend, I guess.

SPEAKER_03

No, it's a lot of fun just being out there with everyone. I mean, the the group that we always talk about. It's solid. Fantastic, great times. It's been a blast. I got partnered up with Diego this past weekend. We got third. Fuck. I've been playing pretty pretty good golf. Not great, you know, obviously. Like I'm not a the greatest golfer by any means, but good and better than I usually do. I know Diego's gonna listen to this, and he's a dog, and I know how good he is at golf. He sold you? He he had a bad day. He had a really bad day. Diego. He had a dude. And he started to figure it out towards the end. No, too little, too late, brother. Yeah, it was.

SPEAKER_05

God damn. You didn't get a single till the fucking sixth inning?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. But he did break up the no-hitter and played a few good holes to get us into third, but that's loser talk. That's loser talk.

unknown

Fuck.

SPEAKER_03

He's gotta redeem himself. Oh yeah. Because I I don't think he's ever played like that. You're just in the town. That's exactly what it was. So I told him, I said, dude, you're just thinking about it too much. I said, You're fine.

SPEAKER_05

Somebody's talking shit to him?

SPEAKER_03

We were partnered up with Oh, that's even worse. Now he doesn't have anything to blame it on. That's because we're partnered up with Monty and Mike, and so it's like it was the most chill group. We had like there was really no banter or nothing. We were just hanging out. Yeah. But yeah, I think he just got in his head a little bit too much. He's gonna bounce back. But I already know what's gonna happen. The next one we do, I'm gonna get paired up against him, and he's gonna play the fucking round of his life and just shut us out. I hate that shit so much. But shout out to Boyd D.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I'll get out there. I need to get out there. I love playing, dude. It's starting to get nice again. Yeah, real nice. Today was beautiful. A little toasty, but yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It'll be alright. It's better than freezing, I guess. Yeah, you can't go golfing and freezing cold weather. No. It's not fun. I've done it, then it's not fun.

SPEAKER_05

I know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I can't wait. I'm about to start getting back out there. I'm gonna start playing a little bit of softball, just league. Just to get moving and shit. That's about to start, I think, next week.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that'd be good. I got a golf tournament this weekend. A little four man.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

See how that goes.

unknown

Yeah, I want to play.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck.

SPEAKER_03

I'm playing with my grandpa and a couple of the guys from work. And my dad, Monty, Blue, and Bobby are all playing out there too. Oh, yeah. My dad texted me, he was like, How much money you want to put on it that we beach all? I was like, don't start this.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, don't. It's too early to don't start it yet. So we'll see. It's gonna get out of hand quick if we start it right now.

SPEAKER_03

So we'll see how it goes. I'm excited though. Four-man scramble tournaments are always so fun. Yeah. It's always a good time.

SPEAKER_05

Just being out there in general is fun.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Even if you're not playing for anything. Yeah, just we have a good time.

SPEAKER_03

It's peaceful. It's like the best way I can explain it is the peace and the feeling I had like on a baseball field is how I feel on a golf course. It's just bliss. Like you're outside, mother nature, moving, moving a little bit. Get a little sweat going. Maybe throw a couple cold ones in the car, you know.

SPEAKER_05

You're solid, dude. I think last time I went, oh my goodness. I drank like two beers, but it was hot. Oh, yeah. You were feeling it. Didn't eat before. Dude, I got immediately buzzed. Just off of two. I think they're premieres. And they hit different on the golf course. I know, yeah. They were delicious, and I I put them down because obviously it was hot, and I was like, oh dude, this is not good.

SPEAKER_03

Been taking those pickle shots when we're out there. Yeah. You had those? They'll buy them for cart girl or whatever. They're not bad. I never had one. No, they're not bad. Kind of refreshing, too. Yeah. It's weird. Helps with the cramps. Yeah. Little whatever the fuck's in pickle juice. I don't know. A little liquor in it. I like it. Gets you going.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I'll fuck with it.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, we need to get you out there to be fun.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, well. This next like coming month is just gonna be like chaotic. Just moving sucks. Dude, I hate moving. Yeah, me too, but I'm ready to get out of this fucking house. Yeah. It sucks.

SPEAKER_03

Just growth. You grow. Time to move on.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. No, this house. I've always hated this house. This is cheap. But I get what I pay for. Yeah. No more fucking window units. The best part. Oh my goodness. Some central heating in the air. Dude, it's gonna be nice, dude. I actually have a backyard. I actually have grass and shit I could walk on. Yeah. Get a grill. Yeah, that's gonna be sick.

SPEAKER_03

I can't wait. Yeah, the having a grill, just being able to go in the backyard, throw some food on it. It's always clutch.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I don't want to. I walk back here just crunchy, crunchy, and nothing but stickers and shit. Like, yeah, like it's not even worth it, dude. That's why I never got one for here.

SPEAKER_03

You gotta take your shoes off before you come inside. Yeah, for real. It sucks. Speaking of, you know, like there's people who like don't allow shoes in their house. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Remember Dotre? Uh-huh. Dotre's one of them. Oh, really? Their family. Just know, yeah, take your shoes off at the door, please.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, I get it. Like, you're stepping around and God knows what all day.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, their carpet was pristine, though, is what I'm saying. Yeah, like that. I think it was like a little older and it still looked like it was new. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It makes sense. I understand why. It's just damn. The first thing I walk into my house, you tell me I gotta take my shoes off. Like I can't even go take a shit first. Yeah, no, dude.

SPEAKER_05

You gotta take your shoes off. Yeah. But they had like a like a like a shoe rack in the garage, and then yeah, and then like in the front. Nobody really walked to the front door, but I'll always remember that about this house. His house. You gotta take your shoes off. Like, bro, my feet sting on each.

SPEAKER_03

Like my socks ain't much better.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck.

SPEAKER_03

That's I get it though. It does it's it is very logical.

SPEAKER_05

It's just I want to know anybody. I don't it's like like few and far between before the like the people I meet that like they do that at their house.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I I will say that Is it a carpet thing? I think that's where I was about to get. I think it is a carpet thing. Because we're we've been talking about buying a house and I did come across that thought where I was like, if we have carpet, I think that's how I want to run the house. There's no shoes in the house.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like everyone can have a pair of like house shoes.

SPEAKER_05

Have those long plastic things. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like the ones from the walk on skis around the house. At the pogo sticker on the house.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, if you do it as soon as you like move in, I think you can implement it.

SPEAKER_03

Be weird at first, but the hardest part is like the kids. Yeah. Like getting them to take the shoes off. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Where the hell are you going? Dad, I'm about to shit myself.

SPEAKER_05

Take your shoes off.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, it crossed my mind. That's why I was I think it is a carpet thing. But even then, like I know people who have hardwood floors and stuff. They're constantly like mopping their house or cleaning it because it gets so dusty and all that.

SPEAKER_05

I couldn't do that here, dude. It's too much hair. Yeah. Hair and dust everywhere. Right. Excuse me, that day that it got super ugly. I think it was that Sunday actually. See, there was so much dirt in here. It was fucking it was insane. It was it was ridic it was ridiculous.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, the the amount of wind that's been going around. It's that springtime transition. It sucks. It's always the worst. Yeah, I don't can't ever breathe. Allergies start kicking.

SPEAKER_05

I work over there by a fucking uh what is that call? Cotton mill or whatever. They have a bunch of cotton seed everywhere. Dude, I'm sneezing all day. It sucks. Especially when it's windy. Oh yeah. We just went, it was like 50 degrees like 50 degrees on Monday. Yeah. Right? Is this gonna be like a hundred mar or some shit or close to it?

SPEAKER_03

Toasty.

SPEAKER_05

Tell people get sick. You believe in all that?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I wonder if it's real. Yeah, it has to be. I don't know, because I don't think your body's supposed to like it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's not supposed to like go temperature to temperature like that. But when you're younger, your mom ever my mom always told me this, but like if we would shower anything or like don't go outside if it's cold? Don't go outside with wet hair if it's cold. Yeah. I don't think that's I don't think that's like that's not gonna make me sick. Yeah, that's not real. I think that's proven. And then like the other one was zip up your jacket, you're gonna get sick. I was like, what is my zipped up jacket gonna have to do with me getting sick?

SPEAKER_05

I don't know about that one either. I don't think so. There's no way.

SPEAKER_03

Because what what doesn't I think they just wanted you to zip up a jacket? Like you're breathing in the cold air, that can get you sick with pneumonia and stuff like that. I don't know if that's true, actually, but I I don't think that's sickness, honestly, relies on germs.

SPEAKER_05

Right. But I don't know. It's weird.

SPEAKER_03

Like, we don't live in Alaska. I'm not breathing in negative 10 degree air all day.

SPEAKER_05

It's 40 degrees outside. Yeah, it's a little chilly, but still, like, it's not gonna kill me.

SPEAKER_03

So those are some more myths that I think were created to I do remember the shower one though.

SPEAKER_05

I never believed it. I didn't care. I still went outside.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I learned another one. You're not supposed to like shower when it's about to storm or something like that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I don't think it's true that you're in a house. It's like the lightning can hit your house or some shit. I don't know. I don't I don't understand it at all. Oh fuck, it's about to rain. Hold on, let me go take a shower real quick.

SPEAKER_03

Or if it's like, or if it's already raining, like what do you mean? I can't shower because the weather outside is affecting me inside. I don't, yeah, I don't I don't understand that one.

SPEAKER_05

People just they're raised on certain things and it just stays with them for like the rest of their lives. It's uh I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Or like put your socks on, you're gonna get sick. Like what how am I gonna get sick because I don't have socks on? Just because I'm a little cold.

SPEAKER_05

That one might be true. I don't know. Your feet are a different temperature than your whole body. Yeah, it's not gonna cause you to get a cold.

SPEAKER_03

Think so either, actually. It may deregulate your body temperature, but yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's may feel a little odd. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

What's what's words? You've beaten me. Yeah, that hurts. Yeah, I don't I don't know. Yeah, on as well since we've been away. Um I've aged. I have facial hair now. Yeah. It's different.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, you walk in with a big old stash. Yeah. I forgot what it's called. Cowboy stash.

SPEAKER_03

Cowboy stash. Someone told me. I'm not gonna name names or anything, but they hadn't seen me with it, and I saw them, and they called it. I never heard this. They called it my pussy broom.

unknown

What the fuck?

SPEAKER_05

I never heard that before. I've never heard that. I've heard some insane shit. I've never heard that before.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's wild. It was insane. I was like, what the fuck did you just say to me? I'm not mad, but I've never heard that. That's an absurd statement. Holy shit. We're calling stashes pussy birds. It's wild.

SPEAKER_05

What the fuck?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I didn't know what to think after that one.

SPEAKER_05

Between the age of 30 and 50, were they in between that age? No.

SPEAKER_03

Really?

SPEAKER_05

No.

SPEAKER_03

That's weird. I've never heard that before. Younger than us. Yeah, what? Yeah. Dude. Female as well. Oh my goodness. Yeah, it was it was insane. Oh shit. That's funny. And no, it was not D. It was not my Beyonce either. But yeah, it's it's also weird because it's not the same color as like my hair. It's a lot lighter. Tomin is too. Yeah. Yeah. You know what they say about that? What? You don't know? What? No. Like why your facial hair could be like bleached? No. From eating the cooter. What? Yeah. Holy shit. Yeah. No, I'm I think it's just genetics. I I don't know what it is, but I that's just another myth that I've heard. I think it's just genetics. It's another myth I've heard.

SPEAKER_05

My my whole fucking face is red. It's like mixed with uh brown, light brown, and like a little bit of red hair in there. Starting to get a few grays. Oh, and the facial hair?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I found a couple.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

My hair.

SPEAKER_03

My head has a lot of gray hairs. That one is purely genetics because that's how my mom is. My sister has it too. I think my brother's starting to get them too already. Or just curse for young gray hairs. You better get gray hairs than go bald. Yeah, we have good hair. It's just some of them may be gray already. Caleb. Yeah. Boy, he's balding fast. He balding fast, dude. Oh, dude. Not me. I'm still straight, baby. You've seen that little alien that I've been posting on Facebook? Yeah. Little Mayo? Yeah, yeah. I tell him that's what he looked like.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, I feel bad for a man. That sucks.

SPEAKER_04

Everybody thought it was gonna be knew it was gonna be Caleb. His hair's always been fucked up. Well, he's also done so much to his hair.

SPEAKER_05

Like he permmed it.

SPEAKER_03

Permed it.

SPEAKER_05

That just like intensified it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. That that had it triggered instantly.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. All that for a perm lip, bro. Yeah. And a dangly earring. Dangly earring.

SPEAKER_03

Got the Jesus piece on it.

SPEAKER_05

Bro, why are you talking about me on the pod?

SPEAKER_03

I can already hear it. I'll hear it instantly. Yeah. Relax, dude. I'll get that phone call.

SPEAKER_05

Remember when we posted him on our Instagram and he got fucking actually got mad? I was like, dude, relax, man. It's just a fucking picture. It's a funny picture.

SPEAKER_03

Bro, he was he was pissed off. Why did you tag me? Alright, bro. If you're gonna get bagged, you're gonna get tagged. Yeah. Like, we're not getting you're not getting a bang job without getting the credit for it. You're gonna know exactly who it is. Oh man, that was funny. I think that's that's gotta be like rule eight right there. Shout out Bob Does Sports. I got that one for you. True. The dogs. You but you watch all their videos and stuff? You see the big ticket. Ticket?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, tickets leaving. It's pretty sad.

SPEAKER_03

It is. Do you think something happened there? Or you think he just was tired of going back and forth?

SPEAKER_05

Uh no, I think his wife was getting tired of him leaving and shit. I think that I think that's what it was. Because they just had a kid recently. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I I don't feel like it, but like he's doing all the stuff that they're doing. Like they did uh a full day stream, uh watching March of Madness, and they're they have a sponsorship with prize picks, so like all that. Well, Tick was doing one too.

SPEAKER_05

I don't understand it. Maybe something happened, but I just feel like I think his wife is just tired of him being gone all the time. Because those are like long trips.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean, year round, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, they live where in New York or some shit?

SPEAKER_03

Ticket lives in Philadelphia, and the rest of them live in Jupiter in Florida.

SPEAKER_05

They moved, yeah. But before I'm saying, like, even if it's like winter where they can't play, they'll just fly somewhere where they can.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Because like before, two of them were in LA. One of them was in West Virginia, the other one was in between Philly and LA. So, I mean, it makes sense, but yeah, I love that channel. It's one of my favorites. If you if you haven't watched Bob Does Sports on YouTube, it's YouTube golf. It's hilarious. It's fucking comedy.

SPEAKER_05

It just feels like you're chilling with the boys. It really does. Yeah, really, yeah. It's literally like a round of golf. Watching them is a lot better too, because they're not very good. Except for FP, but they're not very good, so that's what just makes it a lot better, just relatable.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's more relatable. It's a little bit more targeted to the average golfer. The Halloween one was hilarious. Dude, it's so funny. Did you just watch the this recent one? Uh uh. I haven't watched it yet. They played nine holes, and all four of them with Jet joined in. Yeah. Had to shoot at least six under and finish 36 have a days. Oh, no. Like nine each. Yeah, no. There's no that ninth hole was brutal. I know it was. And this is how I know FP's a dog. They got a rain delay, and then he was in the clubhouse having more drinks. Oh, dude, that dude's awesome. Yeah, it's it's cool. I like watching that little channel. It's pretty, pretty neat.

SPEAKER_05

Another thing I was looking at too this past when I posted that our Instagram story yesterday. I was looking at our old potion shit. But we started doing this shit in 2024. Damn. Which is wild to think about. It's already 2026. That is crazy.

SPEAKER_03

I was like So this summer would be two markets.

SPEAKER_05

It's about to be two years, yeah. Because our one year post was not too far, so it's like August or something. I think it's in August. Like the beginning of August. It's 2024, bro. That's fucking I didn't, it's just insane to think about like how much time and shit's happened since we started doing this.

SPEAKER_03

I had to write the date the other day and I wrote 2026, and I was like, what the fuck? It's like what is going on? I'm getting old as hell.

SPEAKER_05

It's just like thinking about shit that like feels like it just happened, and that was like actually like a year or two ago. You're like, whoa.

SPEAKER_03

I got in my truck earlier today and my hip popped, and I was like, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_05

Oh man, time goes by fast, man. Oh man, it's crazy.

SPEAKER_03

It's been insane.

SPEAKER_05

So I'm saying, dude, these past like few months have been just just wild.

SPEAKER_03

Freaking Luke's playing varsity high school baseball. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. I've seen that on Facebook. Dog, by the way. Oh, dude, yeah. It's a dog. He lists he always listens to this these two. Yeah. It's cool.

SPEAKER_05

He knows he knows what's going on.

SPEAKER_03

He uh it's crazy like watching. I know you've already had to do it, but like me and my brother have gotten I wouldn't say really close, but a lot closer than we have been. Yeah. And it's just crazy to like see him. Like he's fucking grown. You know her? Yeah. He's not just like he's not the little baby no more. Yeah. It's not little Luke. It's funny though, because I think Raylan is the one who started it. But we all everyone calls him Lukey Baby. Really? Yeah. This is his little name. I don't know. It's cool though. It's fun.

SPEAKER_05

It is. It's wild to see.

SPEAKER_03

It's different being in the stands.

SPEAKER_05

With Caleb, it was weird. Not even weird. I don't know. It didn't feel like that much, but like uh seeing Ava like about it graduating shit. That's that's wild. That is crazy. Because even I think like as far as I can remember, Caleb's all like we're not that far off in age. Yeah, he's right there. So like it it didn't really feel like that much of a change. But like she was the youngest one, so I've seen her when she since she was little and shit.

SPEAKER_03

What is y'all's age gap?

SPEAKER_05

Five years. You and Caleb? Yeah, you and Ava.

SPEAKER_03

We're each five. So ten years. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So it's about the same as kind of like y'all's, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Me and Faith are six years apart. Me and my brother like nine or ten.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. So it's yeah, it's almost the same.

SPEAKER_03

Damn, that's crazy. Yeah. Yeah, the Ava one throws me though, because I I just remember her as the little What started me?

SPEAKER_05

Oh, I was talking to one of our family friends, and he has a son. That I I mean, he was always younger and little. So like when I picture him in my head, he's like that. Yeah. But now this dude's like in college and he has like a beard. I'm like, what the fuck? Yeah. Like it's fucking crazy. And then you think about it, like, we're almost 30. That's even more crazy to think about.

SPEAKER_03

We're getting too close to 30. We are. I'm right in the middle. I'll hit 26 this summer.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, you're already on the other half.

SPEAKER_03

Technically, you already are on the other half.

SPEAKER_05

But by just a little bit, but I'm just when I turn 27 this year, I'm gonna be like, oh my god. Yeah. It's just insane to think about.

SPEAKER_03

But Xavier's pushing 40.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, that's even crazier. Yeah, old ass. I almost said it. I almost said it. No, yeah, it's uh I don't know. It's weird, man. Just to think about. That's why I've been talking about like time this whole this whole time is it just goes by fast, dude. Like it's already March.

SPEAKER_03

It's uh it's almost April. Yeah. I think another like perspective for me is like I think what makes it so crazy for me watching my brother is like I get to watch my dad watch my brother, and it's different, it's different, yeah. But at the same time, like I asked him drunk one day, and I think he he probably took it the wrong way when I asked him, but I was like, how does it feel having like your son's 25? Like, how does that make you feel? Like knowing that I'd go to work every day, pay my bills, like have my own family. I feel like that's gotta be.

SPEAKER_05

I can I could technically just be your coworker if you think about it, you know.

SPEAKER_03

I mean by technicality, that's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_05

Like, I am I could just be well, yeah, true, but like just like knowing when we were young, he would go to work and there were people your age like working with your dad. Yeah, like that's just crazy that like that shit just blows my mind, dude.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, it's it's different.

SPEAKER_05

Like he would be like, yeah, this guy at work, whatever, and then he's like our age now than you know at that time. Yeah, it's just it's just I don't know, it's just weird to think about. Yeah, like he's like, hey dad, can have some money? Like, yeah, you know, like can I go hang out with my friends? Yeah, like 24 games. You don't gotta you don't gotta like think about that shit no more. It's crazy. Like, I don't I mean I still I talk to my parents and stuff, like, but I don't talk to them like that anymore. It's kind of weird. Yeah, I I try I try to.

SPEAKER_03

I talk to my dad a lot more than I do my mom.

SPEAKER_05

That's how I am too. Like, I'll try to talk to her about some things, but I just would rather talk to my dad. I don't know, it's just easier.

SPEAKER_03

I I enjoy talking to my mom. It's just I'm very selective about what I talk to her about. Yeah, that's how I am too. Because she's a woman, and sometimes when she says things, I'm like, You're wrong. Yeah, like I I should have never said anything. I should not.

SPEAKER_05

You know what? That's on me. That's on me for saying something. Yeah, that's exactly what I am too. I mean, even with my dad, too.

SPEAKER_03

I'm just like, I'll tell him some stuff, but I just Oh, you know what's the worst that my mom does? Is that you probably just this might be multiple people, but show give me like an emotional answer, and I want the logical answer. And I'm like, No, but yeah, I don't need that, dude. You could cry right now and I wouldn't feel anything. Like, why are you gonna try and hit my emotions? Yeah, I can't find them. But yeah. I think that's why it's easier to talk to my dad because he's just it's no bullshit, it's just straight to the point.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, fuck, I was about to say something, I forgot. My train of thought just went away. But I mean, regardless, I mean I'll still talk to him, but it's just like not being like we were when we were younger is just kind of weird now. I could be out till four in the morning tonight. They would never know. They would never know, they have no clue what's going on.

SPEAKER_03

He's smashing papas and they would never know.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, dude, it's time, man. Time is I think we've talked about it a lot on this podcast, but it's just a recurring topic. It's insane to me.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, but like you have to realize too, like a lot of our listeners, they are older around our parents' age. And in between. But like they went through it too. And so I feel like it's a little bit more relatable and kind of reassuring that like these guys are thinking about that too. Like I feel like it it builds a certain perspective and it probably makes them feel a little better that we're having those thoughts.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Cause otherwise, we're just going through life and not paying attention, and just before we know it, we're fucking dead.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Dude, it's it's at night though, dude. At night when I lay down and I like actually put my phone and shit, I just start like thinking about a bunch of shit. Like, this is fucking crazy.

SPEAKER_03

I watch a bunch of movies, and like certain scenarios happen, I'm just like, fuck. But me and my dad were drinking one night, and it was weird because I thought about this earlier that week, and we were he brought it up and was talking about how we we've gotten the joy we've been blessed enough to not have to deal with a really close loss. I think we've talked about this before, but like to have that talk with my dad, it was like whoa, I was just thinking about this. Yeah. I was like, I I don't know how I'll handle any kind of situation like that. And it's it's hard because you don't think about it, but they have to deal with it too.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I mean it's inevitable.

SPEAKER_03

Like all of us are in that shit together. But I think that's at least for me, the perspective that I got placed in was if I don't hold that relationship with my parents or certain family, we won't be in it together. No. Because there's nothing no connection. Yeah. So we've been trying to do like I do like game nights with my uncles and and cousins, and we cook out and try and get together. And I I seen like the joking posts where people are like, well, we're becoming the drunk uncles at the drunk uncles at the function. But like we are, like if I don't mind getting being the one that brings my people together because it to in a sense for me, it's like if I don't do it, no one else is gonna do it because no one else is thinking about it. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So I don't know. It's just I'm just growing up and it's fucking terrifying.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's it's crazy. But I've never been like that type of person to have like people at my house and just chill and shit, which is crazy. But I mean, we're move. I mean, I move or we're moving, I guess. I'm moving with my girlfriend, and she's she's like that, where she likes people over and like get togethers, and I think that's pretty cool, just how she's she wants to do that. Because if it was up to me, ain't nobody would ever be there. No, I I love having and I only like a few select people here at my house. That's why like only you and a lot of people don't even see my house, uh it's insane.

SPEAKER_03

See, I like getting people together. But like this is why I really want to buy a house, is because I'd much rather everyone come to my house. Yeah. Rather than oh, let's pack up and go to so-and-so's, which I don't mind doing that either, but it's the same way, like I don't like to go out and drink at bars or anything because I'd rather just do it at home.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, because when I'm fucked up, I just go lay down.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Especially because the other day I got I got pretty fucking drunk. I didn't mean to. Yeah. Kind of like you were saying earlier, they just start going back to just they say, Yeah, they start flowing. I was playing the game, just having a good time in party chat. You're on the game, yeah. Drinking playing the game, and I was going to throw away a can and get another beer. It's like, whoa. And I walked right into the fucking wall. And uh D just looked at me like in shock. She's like, Are you good? I was like, uh, yeah, I just hadn't stood up in a while. I forgot how to work these things.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I used to do that uh like COVID times and I would get fucked up on the game. Oh I'd do that. You just don't stand for a few hours. You stand up, you're like holy shit, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And like you don't really feel it because you're looking at the screen. Yeah, once you look away, you're like, oh fuck. You go back to reality and you're like, holy fuck.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I'm drunk. I haven't done that in a long time. I mean, I still don't really drink like that anymore. I'll drink a few here and there, but you're drinking more than you have.

SPEAKER_03

Um here and there. Heard you be making appearances at the pool hall.

SPEAKER_05

When?

SPEAKER_03

I don't know. Caleb told me one day you showed up. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, me and Zarah were supposed to go to a movie and we ate, and there's like an hour left of the movie. I was like, I don't know. Fuck it. My dad's over there at King Louis, so we went and we just like ditched the movie and just stayed there.

SPEAKER_03

I like that place. It's not bad. King Louis?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, yeah. That's one of the few ones I'll go to. I'm selective about the places I go to because I hate ghetto people. Oh, dude. Just ruins the vibe immediately, just ruins it. They're rude, rude, they're rowdy, they're loud, obnoxious. I just don't like people very much. Yeah, I think that's just my problem too.

SPEAKER_03

And I think that place has people who are like us. Yeah, everybody just sticks to their selves, I guess. They mind their business and there's not much interaction with anyone.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Yeah, I like it. It's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_03

I do miss seeing the chaos though. Like going out and seeing people fucked up and acting dumb.

SPEAKER_05

I do miss that part of it, but I save that for when I go to like sporting events. Like I guess uh it's just really football games, but like when you go to football games, dude, you there's endless things you could see.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I got a trip planned. When? Soon? This summer. Oh, really? In June. Where's you? Dallas. Oh. We're going to a concert. Nice. Who? Uh me, Dee, and Zay. I meant like who's performing? Don Tolliver.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, that dude, that meme guy?

SPEAKER_03

Sure. I don't know. Dee likes him, and that's what she wanted to go do. And she's like obsessed with his music, and I was like, I started listening to it. It's not terrible.

SPEAKER_05

The dude that looks like the guy off of Dispable Me. The old man.

SPEAKER_03

Uh I don't know. I don't know much about him. I just heard his music. I don't mind it at all. Hmm. Some songs I I don't care for.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, the I came to Goon guy. Is that who he is? Yeah. Why the fuck is this? It's kind of pissing me off. Hold on, let me give me a second. This guy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Your biscuits loose, China wig, peanut butter house. I'm beating it. I don't know what the fuck he's saying. I don't.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know either. But she loves them.

SPEAKER_05

It's catchy.

SPEAKER_03

It's vibey. It'll be a good time. A few beers in my system, and I'll be good. Yeah. And then um where's it at? Uh American Airlines. Damn. The big double A? The double A. But also gonna try and catch a Rangers game. They play the Twins.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

During the

SPEAKER_03

Is it during the week or then on the weekend? Uh the concerts on a Saturday and then the baseball game's on a Monday.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I think it's might be cheap too since on a Monday. Yeah, dude. That'd be nice. I'm gonna get those good seats too.

SPEAKER_04

You know me. If I go the diamond club on the bottom? Yeah. Yeah, that's just sick.

SPEAKER_03

You know me. If I go do something, I'm going all in. Yeah. I'm not just gonna go get no nosebleed.

SPEAKER_05

I have this bad habit of only going to like the big shit. Yeah, so like it's already expensive, so I don't have a much of a choice. Yeah. But I do want to go to like a not a bullshit. I mean, yeah, bullshit game where I could just sit super close, you know. Because I do enjoy being up front.

SPEAKER_03

Use some PTO and take that week off. When is it? It's actually the week of my birthday, the 15th. Hmm.

SPEAKER_05

I have to see how it's lining up. Look at it. I gotta think about shit. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So we're gonna cover it.

SPEAKER_05

Just involve music, and that motherfucker will be there. Yeah. He appears like fucking Batman. Yeah. Put on the bat signal.

SPEAKER_03

You turn around and he's just right there. Music? He loves them too, so I was like, you wanna go to concert with us? Yeah. Fuck yeah, I do. So we got some pretty good tickets there, and we'll we'll probably come back sometime like the middle of the week. Yeah. It's a few days. Nothing crazy, but I needed a little break too.

SPEAKER_05

That's also what needed to do is when I go out of town, I need to start going like in the middle of the week. It's just a lot cheaper.

SPEAKER_03

Cheaper, less crowded, but you're you're literally a tourist. Yeah. Amongst civilians. Like you go on the weekend, everyone's there as a tour, like as a trip. Like there's so many more people there because that's what they're doing.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Within like a year or maybe next year, I want to go somewhere like I haven't been before. Yeah. Cause I always go like if I go to Dallas, I don't even need a fucking GP. I could just get there. Yeah. Like I already know where you're there. I know how to get there. I know how to get to certain like I know how to get to the stadium from like my house. Like it's just I've been there so many times. Never gets old though. It's always a good time. It's uh it's dude, Dallas is awesome. I love Dallas. If I were to move anywhere, I'm moving to Dallas. Really? Yeah. I could I love Dallas. I love Arlington. I couldn't do it. I could. I could easily move over there. It's where Chief lives. Or he lives in Fort Worth, but oh good old Chief.

SPEAKER_03

Speaking of Chief. We hadn't heard from him in a minute.

SPEAKER_05

Dick Ryder.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Just kidding, dude. We know you listen. Chill, chill, chill. Yeah, I still mean he's in our group chat, so I hear from him every once in a while, but we need to get him on. He's come loving, bro. After the war. Yeah, after the war.

SPEAKER_03

Shit, we might be over there with them.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I know. Hell no, I'm getting exempt. Day one. They're gonna look at me. Nope. Turn around. All right, bet. Hell yeah. Play lice.

SPEAKER_03

I'm just gonna show up drunk. Um, yeah, this is I went over there last month or two months ago?

SPEAKER_05

I kind of forgot. But I was gonna go visit him, but you wanted to go run in Austin or some shit. Like, dude, just go. I'm doing gay shit. Fucking marathon.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, leave that, leave that to the women. I wanted to put on some fucking spandex.

SPEAKER_05

How about you go lift some weights or something, dude? Do something manly. You wanna go run? Put on your little running shoes and your little tights. Yeah. Oh, I need to grab my running glasses. Put on my little watch, track my steps. That doesn't even tell me the time. Jokes, dude. Jokes, jokes, jokes. But yeah, dude. Anytime I go over there, I'm always gonna hit him up and see what he's doing.

SPEAKER_04

I'm gonna have to hit him up too. Get a house, too. Bought a house. Maybe get him to go play some golf. I don't even know if he plays golf. Well, he's about to play. He's about to. Yeah, fuck it. He's gonna go out there, hit hit T off of this AR-15. He's played baseball. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So he knows how to swing. It's gonna be one hell of a slice, but it'll be all right. It's a given. Normally, like baseball players go play golf. That slice is crowded.

SPEAKER_05

It's inevitable, dude. I still have it. Yeah. I can't get rid of it.

SPEAKER_03

I've I've gotten a lot better with it. I don't I still do it, but not as often as I used to.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. If I were to not ever play softball anymore and just play golf, I could easily get rid of it. Oh, yeah. But that's my problem, is I I hop back and forth.

SPEAKER_03

It's just all hands. Yeah. It's all that it is. I'll tell you, I don't miss softball at all. I don't fucking miss it at all. I would randomly have like a like a little itch where I'm like, I kind of just want to be back on the field, but just want to fill the ground ball real quick. Yeah. Just like just let me get one real quick and I'll be good. But then I think about it, I'm like, fuck no, I don't want to be out there. It was fun when we were doing it, but I mean we got you and we were like all in. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, we don't really do that no more.

SPEAKER_03

It was fun though when we were fucking doing it.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Because we were winning too. Like it That was a fun thing. You had you had I got in at the perfect time. Yeah, we were winning everything. We were winning everything, and then when everyone started checking out is when I was checking out, so I was like, I'm good. I I yeah I won a few rings, took a couple trips, and I'm good now. Yeah, I I filled that void for the time being, and I'm good now. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Uh I mean I miss it sometimes. I just like being out there. That's why I'm pretty much just just completely. I think all the I just need to get out there and move, bro. Because if I don't get out, I won't pretty much I won't do anything.

SPEAKER_03

What generation are our parents? I don't know. They're not boomers, right?

SPEAKER_05

Boomers are boomers are like old people. Like, yeah, that's old. It's like their parents. Like boomers are like ones that came from when they came back from like World War II type shit. Uh okay. So what are we all came back from the war, they all got their wives pregnant. Are they millennials? I think so. Yeah. What are we?

SPEAKER_04

Uh Jen Sum. Gooners? Jen Goon? Jen Goon? That's actually not a bad one. What is it called?

SPEAKER_03

What is that? What is that called? Uh age some? I don't fucking know actually. Well just look up millennials and then figure out what it's called.

SPEAKER_05

Or Gen Z. Born between 97 and 2012.

SPEAKER_03

Gen Z.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, our parents are millennials. Gen Z. That's it. That's like now, right? No, there's another one now. Age demographic, that's what it's called.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like I've gotten dumber. That or I think I just use my brain a lot more, so like I turn it off usually about this time of day. I just start dumbing down.

SPEAKER_05

I don't think there's a name for them yet. It just says children.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I mean that's that sounds right.

SPEAKER_05

Y2K? Boomer, Gen X, Gen Y, Gen Z. I don't know. I don't know which one of these is right because they're all right. They just say like different shit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, fuck that. Just change the topic. Yeah. It's stupid. I had a reason of why I was saying that. Oh. I don't think this is what I was gonna say, but talking about how like when we're out there it feels it feels good, you know, kind of just that piece. It's so cool because when we go golf with all those guys, it's like there's no age. Like everyone's just a kid again. Like everyone's just primed, ready to go. You still have two phones. Yeah. It's gonna be like that forever.

SPEAKER_05

As long as I got this job, yeah. It's a free phone, brother. I ain't giving that up.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I know, but I just didn't know if you'd ever depart from that one.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I don't know. All my shit's on there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I guess that's true. I'm about to contradict myself, so I'm just gonna stop.

SPEAKER_05

No, I mean I got the important shit on this phone and social media and my old stuff on this phone, so yeah. I'm just used to it. I lost my phone in the casino. That was pretty wild. Yeah. Oh we were getting drunk. Some good Samaritan. Samaritan, yeah. I was trying to think of it. I was trying to uh I was about to just call him personally. But yeah, because we went to my girlfriend played in a cornhole tournament, so we went to Wichita, but we left a day early. I was like, fuck it, let's just go to let's just spend the night at Choctaw. Yeah, it's just like an hour past it, so we did. It at Toby Keith's restaurant. I love that restaurant by the way. It's so fire. What is it? It's just like like chilies. I don't know, that's the best way to explain it. Like that type of food. It's like everything, like American food. American food. Yeah, basically. Fire as fuck, anyways. It's in the casino. What'd you get? Chicken fries ate. Oh, okay. And it's good from I don't know. It's just good. She got this like burger with like brisket, and I don't know. That was fire though. Damn. It's huge. Anyways, yeah, we so we ate, and then we're like, let's just take this back to the hotel. Well, to the room. So we went to the room, came back down, started drinking, gambling. I didn't win fucking shit. It's the first time I've ever gone to a casino and not won money. Yeah, it wasn't a good feeling. But I was getting like buzzed. Excuse me, my dad gave me some money to place roulette for him. So I was talking to him and I was like, alright, I'm at the table. So I put it down. I guess I put it down. Lost. Alright. So I just I get got up and left and went and bought another beer. I was like, I don't know, like five minutes or so. So we went to the restroom and I was put I was like, oh fuck. I wasn't tweaking. I was like, uh, we gotta go back to the table. She's like, why? I was like, I don't have my phone. Is that the one that works? Yeah, it was my work. It was my work phone. I wasn't tweaking just because when I got back, I would just get a new one. Yeah. But still, yeah, it was my phone. There's three there's three more days left of the trip, so I was like, fuck.

SPEAKER_03

If I don't have Wi-Fi, I'm fucked.

SPEAKER_05

I was like, dude, and I asked one of the bartenders. I was like, dude, did you have a phone up here? It's like, nah, lost and found already came, so you might want to go check over there. People are good about bringing their shit back. It's all right. So on my way to find my phone, I found a wallet. So you took it? If I was by myself, I was for sure taking that money. It was fucking stacked. Dude, I mean, it was stacked. It wouldn't close. That's how stacked it was. Hundreds. I just picked it up. I was like, fuck. So I took it. I was like, I'm here to pick up something, but I'm also here to drop off this because I found it. And it turns out that some dude just turned it in.

unknown

Nice.

SPEAKER_05

Like I was like, yeah, people are pretty good about turning like lost stuff in here. I was like, that's really surprising because I was for sure about to steal this shit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Don't casinos have like a fuck ton of camera. Oh yeah, there's cameras everywhere.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, there's cameras everywhere.

SPEAKER_03

That's insane. I mean, rightfully so, it's a lot of money going around.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I was also profiling because there was a I don't know what he was. He was a Middle Eastern guy with a thing on his head. He stink? I can't really smell, so I don't know. I was over there looking, then I was like looking at his pockets. I was like, I asked him, I was do you see a phone? Mm-mm. You fucking liar. Turns out he was telling the truth.

SPEAKER_03

Just glad I found my phone though. Yeah, that's good. Yeah. I'm not a gambler. I am. Not unless I I can like control the odds. True. Like if when we go play golf, I can play for money. Because if I lose, it's your performance. It's on me.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, but there's nothing like sweating out a bet on a team that you don't even fuck with, but you do for that moment. You know? See, I doesn't touch it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think I did drugs for so long, I already rode that high, bro. Like that. I guess you're right.

SPEAKER_05

Nothing can compare high ever again.

SPEAKER_06

True.

SPEAKER_05

I love it though. I have I've calmed down a lot because I was pretty I was getting bad about it. Yeah. Fucking my last $20. I could triple this right now if I hit this and then just not hit. Like, all right, well, now I'm broke.

SPEAKER_03

Well, because y'all were placing bets for a hot minute. Like everything. I still do every once in a while. Do you do a bracket? Mm-hmm. They sent it to me and I was like, you didn't put one in?

SPEAKER_05

I saw your dad in it. Yeah. Me and uh me and Danny put one in. Actually, it was this morning before the game started.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I just have no interest. I don't know what it is. Like, I've been watching sports out the ass. I just, I don't know. I'm getting older and um sit down, open a beer, and watch the game. Whatever it is.

SPEAKER_05

Nah, dude. I I have to put something in just to sweat it out. Dude, last year I tell I tell everybody this, but last year, I think all the way down to the Elite Eight, I had the number 24 bracket. Yeah. In the world.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I think I only missed one game all the way up until the Elite Eight. I was showing everybody that today. I'm so proud of that. For the rest of my life, I'm be like, yeah, this is never be able to do it again. Yeah, probably not. No.

SPEAKER_03

Especially now.

SPEAKER_05

And I didn't even win the money that year. I ended up like losing because I didn't pick the right champion. That's fucking ass, dude. Like, give me my money.

SPEAKER_03

You got hoed on technicality?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Just because the the guy who picks the most, or the guy that picks the actual winner gets the like more bonus points. So I got hoed out of that because I didn't pick the right winner. But you had way too much. But I had the better bracket. Yeah, it was fucking stupid, dude. I was so pissed off.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I can't. I think I made a bracket one year.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, do you remember that? Watching Tech lose to Florida. We're all at Bobby's house. I was so upset by that.

SPEAKER_04

I forgot I was there.

SPEAKER_05

I hope we do that again this year. Release they make a little run just so we could be able to do it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Damn. I remember that date. I need a good cookout. I hadn't had one in a little while. We need a good cookout. Just give it a little bit. I haven't in my house. It's nice. It's open. I need like a big get together.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Run it back with everybody. Cornhole boards. Dartboard. And a lot of beer.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I took I took Greg golfing. Oh really? Yeah, I took him with me. Did you like it? Yeah, dude. He had a blast. He did great. Yeah, he likes being outside, bro. That was like that's his shit right there.

SPEAKER_04

I even bought him a little golf club and his.

SPEAKER_05

I haven't even seen him probably since that time.

SPEAKER_04

Around that time. Probably getting fucking taller now and shit. He's huge. Is he? Yeah, he's big. He's gonna be a little bigger.

SPEAKER_03

When we eat, if he really likes something when we're eating, he'll say, This is good shit. The other day he randomly threw out this is fucking gas. What was he eating? He's walking around with a fucking big ass piece of lettuce.

SPEAKER_04

He just much like it was a fucking potato chip or something.

SPEAKER_03

That shit was funny. He still does stuff like that. He actually will eat food now most of the time, but yeah, you give him some fucking he likes him some produce every now and then. If you don't watch him in the produce section at the grocery store, I've seen him just grab an apple. Just start eating it. Just like he'll grab something and just eat in the grocery store. He's like, bro. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Can't just do that. You gotta pay for it.

SPEAKER_03

Turn around and hold pears down to the core in his hand. The fuck. Oh, it's funny. Every now and then when he's eating strawberries, he'll just eat the whole thing. The leaves and everything. What? It's random. It's weird. Sometimes he'll do it, sometimes he doesn't. He's gonna be yoked when he gets older. Dude, imagine just fucking unit. Yeah. This is Randy Johnson build.

SPEAKER_05

You gotta get some ribeyes in there every once in a while.

SPEAKER_03

Get him some protein. He does like steak. He does. Damn. I'm due for a good steak.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I feel like steak is like not even it's not a luxury meal. But you only eat it occasionally.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you don't you don't overeat steak. You gotta save it for like when you're like, I deserve a steak. Do you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Because I've met some people that they would just eat it like on a Tuesday for dinner. It's like ribeye Monday filet. Yeah, like what the fuck? Like this, dude. To me, a steak is like I don't know how to explain it. You know what I'm trying to say though.

SPEAKER_03

No, yeah, you just you don't eat steak all the time. You just it's on the it's an occasional dinner.

SPEAKER_05

I guess just because y'all gotta like that or some shit. I I know, but I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I don't know. I I try not to eat steak too often. Here lately, I've really just been eating Chipotle and subs like from sandwich shops.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's been my shit, dude. And usually it's like one big ass sandwich or one big ass burrito, like midday, and then that's that's it.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

That and then I drink the rest of my calories.

SPEAKER_06

True.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I'm I need to get out there moving again, dude. You just feel it. I feel good, but like I just I need that, yeah, I need those motions of like taking that like getting that bat or something, or getting in the tea box or some shit. Yeah, you need to get on the golf course, man.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it'll change. Some of my fucking clubs in the living room, they're right, they're ready to go. They're ready. No dust on them or nothing. We've been cleaning them every day, waiting for the call.

SPEAKER_05

Uh yeah, this this coming month is gonna be just insane.

SPEAKER_03

Just moving. Yeah, it's gonna be hectic. It'll work itself out. It would probably be a bad idea to throw a little round of golf in there to break it up.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Nah, we'll we'll get out there.

SPEAKER_04

Where's that? You getting out of the knoff? Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Him and uh what is his name? Lil'Ray? Lil' uh Northside Ray. Northside Ray, him and Northside Ray can fucking duke it out for king of the knoff. Who can be the king? Yeah. I don't want this bullshit anymore. Nah, we're going over there behind uh kind of behind Costco and David Busters. Oh, okay. There's a neighborhood behind that park. Yeah, yeah, it's over there. It's a little nice, quiet neighborhood.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Finally, we've been looking we've been looking for a while. Finally got one. Coming to my side. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I like it. I like it over there. Down the street from uh Lily's. The best part. Literally, just right there. I've been eating a lot of Lilies too.

SPEAKER_03

The Lily's is fucking gas. They were closed this week. Really? Yeah, spring break, I guess.

SPEAKER_05

Uh everybody took off.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. No randomly, but they give you news.

SPEAKER_05

I like that about restaurants when they do that as a restaurant. Because Aloha Barbecue does that where they go and visit family back where they're from. That's how you know it's genuine. I like that. Lily's gonna be right there, boy. I can't wait, dude. That's a long drive to work though. Yeah, that's the only bad thing. But we're moving, we're moving stores. Pretty soon? Uh within the next year or two. I mean, it's even further, but it's over there off kind of by my dad's work.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that that john's way out there too.

SPEAKER_05

I'm saying it's gonna be even further, but we just got a car. It's alright. Oh really? Yeah. Ready to get a new one. Finally.

SPEAKER_03

New one.

SPEAKER_05

I remember all that bullshit happened with the other one.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. We got uh a nice, nice ride.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I'm saying it's been like four or five months, and it but it feels like it's been like a year from the amount of shit that's that's gone down since we last recorded.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. It's crazy. I I just saw my watch, but I guess our our Facebook fuel feud is uh is still going. Which one? Uh just a lot of it. Just random ones. There's been new stuff said. You see it?

SPEAKER_05

No, I haven't yet. You'll see it. Was it on your cousins?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, okay. I was reading it a while ago when I was at work.

SPEAKER_03

Um, yeah, Xavier wanted to chime in and Caleb chimed in now. Oh, there we go. That's that's what I had just got a screenshot of. Caleb was throwing a bone.

SPEAKER_05

Take my brother his wings.

SPEAKER_03

I like how he changed his picture bag when I told him to. Hell yeah. Dude, he I'm telling you, he be doing that duck face. Even AI knows he'd be doing a duck face in his pictures, bro. Oh, man. He'd be pecking out his little ass lips. Little prison lips.

SPEAKER_05

It's crazy. Oh. Everybody knows it ain't nothing new. Fuck it.

SPEAKER_03

I didn't think he could look more gay than he already did, so I saw that AI.

SPEAKER_05

It's funny because we could talk about him like that. Because he talks about us like that too. So he'd be talking. People are gonna miss him. I already know where I'm gonna hear him. Yeah. Where's he?

SPEAKER_03

Where's he?

SPEAKER_05

If you can get him here.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

But he's not.

SPEAKER_03

He's in this face where he's always on some bullshit. Yeah. Oh, I gotta work. No, you don't, bro. You're sitting at home right now. I gotta put in an AC unit. No, you're not. You're gonna say the same thing when we talk to you tomorrow. You're gonna say, yeah, bro, I gotta do it today.

SPEAKER_04

He'll come around when he wants to.

SPEAKER_03

Did he tell you when he got locked out of his house? No. He didn't tell you. Oh, when? Uh I don't know if it was last weekend or the weekend before. But he I don't know what happened, but he said he locked himself out of his house and he had to walk to Wienersnitz because his phone died. Oh, to charge it?

SPEAKER_05

Oh my god, he looked just like one of these bums up here.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god. And he was probably wearing a A white t-shirt and gray shorts that go down to his mid-cap. I just see his little eyes walking.

SPEAKER_04

He looked homeless with his hand socks and his little slides. Somebody called CPS because they thought a little kid was just walking by himself. Hell yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. They thought someone from Kaboss was dipped on school.

SPEAKER_05

I didn't know that happened. Oh my God. He should have told me I would have came and helped now. Was it during the day?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I don't remember what time it was, but yeah, he said he had to walk to Weenie World.

SPEAKER_05

His life is so funny, bro. Just random shit like that always just happens to him.

SPEAKER_03

And then I want to say Santana came and helped him or something. He sent me a screenshot of them. Something that they said.

SPEAKER_05

I don't remember what it was, but dude, his His life is crazy, dude. It's so funny. It's just so much shit has happened in his life. It's just you can have a movie on him. And it's like for what?

SPEAKER_03

Like it doesn't even make sense how that happened. It doesn't. Like, how do you lock yourself out of your house?

SPEAKER_05

The last time I locked myself out of something was when I locked myself out of our my truck.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, which I would just me and you. I fucking forgot about that. Caleb brought that up to me one day, actually.

SPEAKER_05

Uh who came in help this was my dad. We were there for a long ass time. We should have just fucking walked back to the apartment. It was cold. It was cold. I was like, dude, this fucking sucks, bro. We just came to the store to get some snacks.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because we were hungry and we were at the house.

SPEAKER_05

And I had barely started driving too. Just take the truck. Fuck it. Got the truck. Lock the bitch ass keys in the goddamn truck, bro. Bro, your dad was pissed. He was. I was like, dude. I don't know what to tell you. I can't call Papa Lock. I got no fucking money, dog. Like, you're gonna have to come help me.

SPEAKER_03

You are Papa Lock.

SPEAKER_05

I think he did somebody come? I don't know. I forgot who came. It was we were still in high school and shit. I wanna say your dad came. I think he did. Or he called somebody and he paid. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

Some some shit like that. Oh man, that was fucking hilarious.

SPEAKER_05

Ever since then, though, I check if I got the big three. Yeah. Every single time.

SPEAKER_03

Left note, right note? Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

God damn, I don't know. No, I got in the habit of putting my shit in my mouth. I still do. I'll buy my key and hold it in there until I'm like seen you do it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_05

I still do it. I'll leave I'll leave it there until like I'm done, and then I'll put it on the table wherever I'm at at work.

SPEAKER_03

I have a little clip that attaches to my belt loop. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Nah, see, I'll fucking lose it.

SPEAKER_03

Because like the second I take the keys out of the ignition, I put them on my loop, my belt loop. Oh yeah, yeah. Before I even get out of the car. Nah, I'm too fat for that dog. And then before I close the I have to like lift it up and shit. Move and get out of the way.

unknown

Oh fuck.

SPEAKER_03

Good times, man. I had we have so much. Now that I think about it, we have random stupid shit too, like that for no reason.

SPEAKER_05

I have the memory on my phone and it pops up every once in a while. Because it doesn't do it like by day anymore. It just does it randomly, like random days, and I'll it I have a picture of us when I'm like, look, the keys on my truck.

unknown

Fuck.

SPEAKER_05

I remember that day.

SPEAKER_03

I wish I could remember what we got.

SPEAKER_05

Me too. It's probably just some bullshit like chips and like theater age and shit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's probably exactly what it was.

SPEAKER_04

I remember that. I remember that apartment. So there's a lot of memories at that apartment. Yeah. Twice.

SPEAKER_05

We lived there twice. Yeah. We lived there, then we moved to the house down the street, and then we moved right back to them after we were done in the house.

SPEAKER_04

That house was cool. I missed, yeah, he should have never got rid of it. That house was badass.

SPEAKER_03

That house was cool. The backyard was nice.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it had that fucking platform out there and little gazebo. Remember when Caleb ran it to the fence? The big ass 12-foot fence. Brown monster. I was cutting the yard one time. People were back there, and I like hit one of the blades on a rock and it broke. Almost killed somebody. Good times.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, I remember one time my dad was cutting the yard and he was already pissed at me because he had to mow the yard. Yeah, because he had to do it? Yeah. And he hit a rock. And it was at the house over there off the loop. Yeah. When we lived there. You remember how we had that screen door? Yeah. You know how there was like mesh on it? Well, it used to be glass. That's why it is mesh. That's why it is mesh. Is he hit a rock and that rock hit got thrown out and it hit the glass. That house has memories. Dude. We lived there for a long time. Yeah, it was a it was a long time. A long time we were there.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I mean long enough we were having sleepovers and shit. Yeah. Unintentional sleepovers, but sleepovers because my dad was too drunk to drive home or drive me home at least. And then y'all moved down the street. Yeah, that was even worse. Yeah. Just at each other's house all the time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And everyone was always there.

SPEAKER_05

We were always older. Well, I mean, we were older already, but even when y'all first started living there, dude. I mean, I remember staying over there and shit. Then y'all built the batting cage in the back.

SPEAKER_03

We were always in the that was even cooler. Yeah. And then we had the tire swing. So when you're waiting. True. Do you remember the big ass tire swing on that tree? They they took it. Oh really? When they moved, but I think it's in their storage. Oh shit. Yeah. I wonder if those people set those poles up. They are. Are they? Yeah, they're bad. I haven't like it. I drive by it. I haven't driven by there in a long time. The basketball goal's still up too. Really? Yeah. Yeah. Because we cemented that post in the it's like permanent. The house is awesome. And we had that put that nice ass backboard up where we could move it. It was like the NBA board.

SPEAKER_05

Football on the street. And it was a good street because it wasn't very busy. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Despite being off the loop, like right off the access road, there still wasn't much traffic. And we would play like a full half a block. Like it was like six houses long. We're playing a full we would. It was rare somebody would drive through there. Oh, yeah. Because it all the all my buddies who I was going to school with would always be there too.

SPEAKER_05

As many times as I've been there, I never seen any of the neighbors outside. Ever. I can't even tell you what any of them look like. Dude. Especially the next door neighbor. I never saw them.

SPEAKER_03

The the one right next to us. Yeah, I same. I never seen them.

SPEAKER_05

Never saw them, never heard them, but somebody for sure lived there because you see the lights on and off.

SPEAKER_03

They had dogs. I knew that. Yeah, dude, it's crazy. But never seen them. I've never seen their faces. I don't know what ethnicity they are, nothing. Uh eventually I did see the one across the street. It was some white dude. He was pretty chill. Oh yeah. Yeah. I want to say he ended up doing our yard. Oh really? Cutting our yard, or we cut his yard. I don't remember. Some shit like that. And then yeah, the one like across the street next door. Um that one, there used to be a girl there that I went to school with, and then they moved. And then some black people moved in, and they were cool as fuck. Oh, okay. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

The cool ones.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they were chill.

SPEAKER_05

They were chill. Jokes. Jokes. Jokes. Jokes. Don't get offended. If you get offended, go to JP's podcast. Having neighbors to me, I don't know if my dad like instilled this on me, but like, you always gotta have cool neighbors, dude. Because if you don't, you're living there is gonna be fucking miserable.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and you gotta make peace with your neighbors too, because it's like they'll look out when you're not around and stuff like that.

SPEAKER_05

Like my dad's so soggy that nobody on his block like is ever outside. Yeah. So he'll be drinking outside sometimes, just standing in the look, like the front of the driveway, just looking around and shit to see who to drink with, and nobody's ever out there.

SPEAKER_03

It's funny because I can see exactly how he's standing. The beer's sitting on his chest, he has it pressed against his chest, hands in the pocket, yeah, and he's just kind of doing that little like metal spin, like going back and forth looking around. I know exactly he does it all the time. And then he's like sad nobody wants to drink. And then the hand comes out of the pocket, he's like, gets a cigarette, that camel crush, that menthol. Oh, dude, that dude's crazy, man. Uh good times, man. There's so many fucking memories, dude. Yeah. You remember when we went to that baseball tournament and I don't remember where it was, but it had that little putt-putt course in Dallas. I think it was Dallas. Lobby. I think we I think it was in Irvine. And we had an early game and we were trying to sleep, and they were just snoring loud as hell, dude. I almost went down to the lobby and slept on the couch.

SPEAKER_05

I do remember that. That was that was like one of the coolest. I couldn't even tell you where that hotel is. It's one of the coolest hotels I've ever stayed in.

SPEAKER_03

If they hear this, I hope that they can remember which one it was. They won't.

SPEAKER_05

I'm pretty sure I pretty sure it was an air. It was in Dallas for sure, but like he walked in and then nothing was on the outside, everything was just inside that one up. Yeah. It was it was badass. Like a pyramid. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It was like uh yeah, I don't even know how to like there's no halls or nothing. It was just like on the perimeter, right?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, the and the the elevator is like glass so you could see whoever's and then there's the like mini-golf cool. How the fuck did they afford that? Yeah. Thinking about it now, because we stayed there for like almost a week.

SPEAKER_03

There's no way that I don't know. We're also younger, so our our memory might be like heightened of it. It may have not been.

SPEAKER_05

It might have been just like fucking shitty. Yeah. I think it's like a motel, but reversed. Yeah. Where it's inside, not outside. No, it was nice because that bar was uncircumcised. You know how I know it was nice that I remember? Because you have to pay for the breakfast. That's how you know it was nice. It's not complimentary. Yeah, you're right.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I remember that actually. However, I have seen some shitty hotels and motels that make you pay for breakfast. Really? Yeah, because they're trying to get their money out of it. Hey, you remember that?

SPEAKER_05

Remember that, yeah. Remember that one? We were a little bit older. Was it like one of our last ones we played in? I want to say it was towards the start. Really? It might have been. It might have been. I don't I don't remember that part. I just remember that. You had to pay for breakfast. It was like a reversed motel and the elevator and the pub hut course. Yeah. That's the only thing I remember about that. I don't remember playing or nothing.

SPEAKER_03

Another one I remember vividly is when we went to Riyados for a tournament. Yeah. Where we went often, but we made it farther in the tournament than We anticipated? Yeah, we anticipated. And then we were trying to get another room. And do you remember when we were in the lobby and our dads were like getting into the Oh yeah, they were getting mad. Yeah. Fuck them.

SPEAKER_05

Fuck them in the I remember that shit, bro. I do remember that now. Holy shit. It was a holiday inn. Yeah. We have a picture when we're like that. Yeah. I remember that. Yeah. Damn, I remember that, bro. I think my grandparents are there too.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Because then we went to the rest of the guys' hotel, and they it's like the first time they ever let us swim.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like, we're gonna drink, y'all go swim.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, they didn't give a fuck. Yeah. Ah, dude, that's a core memory, dude. I remember I got pictures from my phone from that tournament.

SPEAKER_03

We need to run back to the Dallas trip. Yeah. Ranger game, golf. Go golfing.

SPEAKER_05

I want to golf there again now that it's done. Yeah, there's no clubhouse. It was no clubhouse. It was just that fucking that portable office thing.

SPEAKER_03

Had a change in the car.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Had no clubhouse to go change.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I want to do that again. That was fun.

SPEAKER_03

They have the Dallas Cowboys Stadia uh course now. Have you seen that one? Yeah. A little bit more expensive. Yeah, but it's like all like it includes like a meal, I think before and after, and like it's all a bunch of the good, good guys play there.

SPEAKER_05

I watch them. Yeah. I watch them on on it when they play it. It's nice, too. But that Rangers one.

SPEAKER_03

See, yeah, I just cause like we were there before everyone else. Yeah. And we gotta try it out again. What year was that? 2019. Was it 2019? I think so. It was before COVID. I know that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I think it was 20. I think it was like right after my my Theo passed away.

SPEAKER_03

You remember when we went to Ohos Locos?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, that was a I was talking to Caleb about this. That was a long day. Dude, we were doing shit the whole the whole day. We were hammered all day. Yeah. We literally left the golf course and went to the life.

SPEAKER_05

That's the first time my dad ever let me drink.

SPEAKER_03

Like in front of him. Yeah. We went to the golf course, left, went and picked up pizza, and we went to the liquor store too. Do you remember that? Well, that's what I was gonna say. Would you would you believe it that there's a liquor store right where we were picking up the pizza? You think that was by chance?

SPEAKER_04

They walked out and they just split it. One went to the liquor store to get the pizza.

SPEAKER_06

Oh that was awesome.

SPEAKER_04

I know exactly where it's at.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That where we went, I know exactly where it's at. That hotel was nice too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It was a nice room that we had. I don't even remember falling asleep. I just remember waking up and I was like, oh my god. So I'm saying I know that I know Dallas, so I know where all the stuff is at. Dude, so we got liquor stored pizza, went back to the hotel, showered, ate, drank, and then you remember before we left, we like scavenged any kind of bottle we could find. Yeah. And made like fixed drinks and like sprite bottles and stuff. And then went to the game, and I think it was like it was like a beer night. So they had specials on all those aluminum bottles.

SPEAKER_05

And we sat way lower than where we were supposed to. Because there's nobody there.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, because we were like going up to our seats and we just saw a big ass section, and there was nobody. Nobody like yeah, we're sitting right there. We had like handfuls of aluminum bottles of just any beer that we could get.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, that was I mean, I was 19. Yeah. You were 18? 18 or 19. That's what I'm saying, dude. Yeah, it it was fine, but I mean, I'm I mean, my mom probably won't listen to this, but like she probably does not know that we were hammered the entire time. She knew. Yeah, she probably did. Think about it. I still got that video of my dad running to the fountain. The fountain?

SPEAKER_03

And they were barely building the stadium.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it was still like construction phase. It wasn't even close to being done.

SPEAKER_03

It barely started. The beams were up. That was about it. Yeah. And then after the game ended, we went to Texas Live. And it was that was new too, I think. Yeah, it was brand new. Yeah. And then I remember we're I remember there was this older woman, you know how I am, and I love me a good older woman. Yeah. A little kook. I started talking to her, and I think when my dad saw that, he was like, Yeah, it's time to go. Oh, most locos. Do you remember that was fire too? Do you remember we almost didn't get in? Yeah, because they wouldn't let us.

SPEAKER_05

They wouldn't let us like bro with their parents.

SPEAKER_03

Like, come on. And our our dads were like, no, they're like, these are our sons. Like, yeah. They'll be fine. He's like, well, don't let them out of your sight. And we went in. You were just like, what? Like they allow this shit? We proceeded to get lit.

SPEAKER_05

Ah, dude, that was fucking awesome.

SPEAKER_04

The food was fire. Dude, oh logo's food's fine. We were so drunk.

SPEAKER_03

That's why it was so good too. But it was no, even it's it's fire because on the King's trip we ate at Oh's and it was like, dude, these tacos are fucking fire. I remember I had bombshells for the first time a couple years ago over there before we got over here. Yeah. I'm not going to the one here. I've been for like, I've had a couple beers there one day, but. Nah, I'm not going, dude.

SPEAKER_05

It just they yeah, and we don't got the talent.

SPEAKER_03

We need to put some NIO money in there.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, dude, you gotta do something.

SPEAKER_04

We went back to hotel.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, then for the historians. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we got back to the hotel and went to sleep.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. It was a great time, though. It was a great time. Boy, that ride back was raw.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, it dude, everybody's falling asleep. Everybody was literally falling asleep. We had to drive. Yeah, I remember. We had to switch. Yeah, because they were, dude, if they were they were falling asleep for sure. They slept the entire way. I think they were awake for like the first 45 minutes, and after that, they were just out. I was like, fuck, dude, we gotta we gotta stay awake to keep each other awake. Yeah. God, what a trip, dude. That was awesome. We gotta run it back. Yeah, that was awesome. Gotta get a boy's trip.

SPEAKER_03

We get everyone to go in.

SPEAKER_05

My dad doesn't, my dad doesn't go nowhere, no. I think it's probably the last time he's been out of town.

SPEAKER_04

For real?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, my dad don't go out of town no more.

SPEAKER_03

Where do you get him?

SPEAKER_04

I'm gonna buy a carton of Camel Crush now.

SPEAKER_03

These are all yours if you come on this trip.

SPEAKER_05

He goes out of town, but it was for like Ava's uh volleyball trip. Like he wouldn't, yeah, he hasn't been out of town like by himself since probably that.

SPEAKER_04

Man, that was that's almost 10 years ago, if you think about it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we're pushing eight years ago.

SPEAKER_04

Damn, we're getting old. That's what I'm saying. That was the old stadium. That was like the last season of the old stadium, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And that's why we did it too, is because we wanted to get that last game at the old stadium. I saw a picture of it too.

SPEAKER_04

It was such a perfect night, too, if you think about it. It wasn't hot at all. It was just not the sun was already down. Yeah, it was there was a nice cool breeze. Nobody in the stadium.

SPEAKER_05

Nah, it was so depressing. It was the Red Sox. That's why I think that's why we went too.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Oh man. We gotta go back. It was so much fun. That was awesome. The new stadium isn't it doesn't it doesn't hit the same, but it is nice.

SPEAKER_05

It is nice. I do like I do enjoy being in there. Now that I have the memory of fucking game one of the World Series there too, that's even better. Yeah. Oh, dude, that's one thing that's gonna stick me for the rest of my life, bro. The game one? It's probably one of the it's gonna be one of the best moments of my life till I die. Yeah. The the noise it's electric was just full. Oh, dude, I couldn't I couldn't contain it. I was shaking.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, your adrenaline just was a roof.

SPEAKER_05

It was just oh my god. I need to share this so people can see it. I don't think a lot of people have I I got it on video. Like I was I was recording that at bat. Uh let's see, let's see.

SPEAKER_03

I remember I've seen that video so many times.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, it's the bet. I want people to hear like what I sounded like. I couldn't even talk. And I called my dad, he was like, what the what just happened? He was all crazy, he was all going crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Bro, have you seen the clips of people recording uh like the game? I don't know how real it is, but they're recording a game, and before like the last out's even made, they get the notification that's gonna be a little bit more. Oh yeah, I saw that. What the fuck? I saw that too. Yeah, I saw that too. And like now it's like it's hard to believe anything with fucking AI and all this bullshit, but um, I do want to get into some world baseball classic talk. Dude, I love I love the world baseball classic. I need to take a piss. So let's uh composite? Yeah, let's take a little break before we start taking. Oh shit, grab it. And then we're back. We're going adlas. We're just running this fresh start. We started like day one. Back to the basics. Get back to the basics. Believe it not, believe it or not, Eli's having a beer with me. I had I hadn't been drinking them, but we're having a beer. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, they've been sitting in my fridge for fucking months, dude. They just sit there. It's quite tasty. I was like, you can have it if you want. I was like, I drink one. Fuck it. I haven't drunk in a few weeks.

SPEAKER_04

Drink one, calm the nerves a little bit. Yeah, I'm telling you, dude, this is like this beer is hitting the stash, and like I can't get used to it.

SPEAKER_03

It's I don't know what it is. It takes a long time to get used to it. I've had it for the past like month or so. It's just like I'm like constantly, like, I can't.

SPEAKER_05

I'll let all this shit grow up, but my mustache, once it starts hitting my lip and shit, I I I cut it. I got like some hair scissors in there, I I do.

SPEAKER_03

I need I need to trim it a little bit, but I don't think I could live with myself. I'm so OCD. You fuck it up. Yeah, if I fuck it up, I'll be like, it takes it takes practice.

SPEAKER_05

I've fucked up my shit so many times, but I'm I'm already I already got the shit down. Yeah, I'll I'll get there.

SPEAKER_03

I don't I don't know at what what point it's gonna hit a length where I'm like I can't.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. No, it'll start going over and you start eating and you'll hit it, and that's when you're like, alright, let me yeah, let me clean it up again.

SPEAKER_03

Um yeah, you wanna play that video.

SPEAKER_05

Oh yeah, I found the video. If y'all wanna just pay attention, I mean it's very faint. I'll turn it up a little bit, but you can hear the crack of the bed, you can hear the crowd. I'll let it go till the fireworks go off because that's when you can feel that shit in your chest, you know what I'm saying?

SPEAKER_01

Go ahead.

SPEAKER_05

That's just electric. Giving people all around you hugs like you know them, you know, it's just it's insane. You start kissing everybody. Touch on plate.

SPEAKER_03

That's amazing. You know what other one was electric? Bryce Harper's bomb in the championship.

SPEAKER_04

Dude, I fucking missed it. I I called, I said, he was due, he was due like a motherfucker.

SPEAKER_03

Someone's gonna get on and Harper's gonna come up and he's gonna he was barely missing all day. Like he was right there. He was barely missing it. He's about to square one up. He's this is what he's made for. But the reason I want to talk about it is because every time I start to slowly drift on the track that you know what, maybe Aaron Judge is good, maybe he is that as good as they say. Nah, I'll never say that. He falls right back into the the category where I'm like, this dude's terrible. Like he puts up all his stats that he all his big numbers are in the beginning of the season before pitchers are in midseason form. And then once that all-star break hits, he's gone. Yeah, once it matters, dude, it he folds it's crazy, dude. He folds like when he dropped that pop fly in the World Series, he almost missed one the other day. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He did not read that ball at all. He didn't I could tell he almost dropped it.

SPEAKER_05

But if you're a ball knower, you know he almost fucking dropped it.

SPEAKER_03

I just I can't get behind Aaron Judge, man. I he's he's there's no opportunity anymore where he can convict it'll be convinced. Otherwise. Fuck Aaron Judge. Fuck the Yankees. Yeah. And God damn, dude.

SPEAKER_05

When it mattered, bro. Oh, for four or three strikeouts. All he had to do. Not even fucking. He wasn't, he wasn't seeing that shit at all.

SPEAKER_04

All he had to do is just hit a hard hit.

SPEAKER_03

He just had to hit hit it hard one time. Yeah. Especially after Harper. All he had to do is get a one good.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, if he gets a single, that momentum is completely flipped.

SPEAKER_03

Yep.

SPEAKER_05

Because that was just a little boost. You still got to do a little bit more to get it flipped. And he got the he got the strike counts. Alright, we're back.

SPEAKER_03

And in terrible fashion, too.

SPEAKER_04

Look terrible, man.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, I mean, he was so he's so lost up there, dude. He looked scared. You can see it in his fucking eyes, man. I I can't get behind it. Look at his eyes before his head bat and look at Bryce Harper's eyes. That's all you gotta do. You can just see that shit. Stone cold killer, little bitch. You know what I'm saying? Like, dude, he's I just don't get it. Oh man, I don't get it either.

SPEAKER_03

I will say, I know everyone said it for a while, but Paul Skeens, he he is that guy. Oh, dude, he's a dog. He he is it, dude. That dude is a fucking animal.

SPEAKER_05

He made one mistake and they just so happened to hit a solo off of it.

SPEAKER_03

And everybody was tweaking like, bro, it's a solo. Like it's you know what I think though? You correct me if I'm wrong, or if you think I'm wrong. That Dominican team that they played, that was, I think, one of the best written lineups in baseball history.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, yeah, dude, they're elite, top to bottom.

SPEAKER_04

This is the greatest lineup ever made.

SPEAKER_05

Even the nine-hole hitter. Yeah, he was the shortstop uh oh blink on his fucking name for the Diamondbacks. Dude, he's a dog, bro. Like amazing. One through nine, they were just all dogs. You don't get no breaks. And he was mowing through them like it was a fucking JV team.

SPEAKER_03

They had nine cleanup hitters. Yeah. They had nine four holes back to back. Yeah, you couldn't make obviously you couldn't make one mistake because the one he made, gone.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, he was trying to get that low and outside, and he just he hung it. He put his bat out there and it went. That shit, it just it happens, but dude, he's gonna be one of the best pitchers of all time. Oh, 100%. Easily, even if he doesn't get hurt, he's still can, dude, he was doing his fucking sinker 97 miles an hour. That's fucking it's insane.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man, it was fun though. I love watching the dude. The classic's the best.

SPEAKER_05

I love the classic. It's so awesome.

SPEAKER_03

I like it too because you can tell, like these guys, this is what they do for a living. But you can you also can tell like they're not even in mid-season shape. Like they're still getting ready to go.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I mean, I mean they weren't sitting on the couch a few months ago, but they weren't yeah, they weren't getting the reps like they were, you know.

SPEAKER_03

You you play 162 games a season, by by the time you hit that 80 mark, you've seen so many pitches, you should be yeah, yeah, you should be seeing it. Now it's not that easy, it's baseball, but you know what I'm trying to do. But still, yeah, I mean, these guys are they're fresh off of the offseason.

SPEAKER_05

Like that shit, it takes a while to get going, and the ones you who stood up were fucking dog. Gunner Henderson's a fucking dog. I wish they played him more.

SPEAKER_03

That Bryce Tarang, dude, he's he's good. Yeah, he's good.

SPEAKER_05

His glove is crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah. I love his swing, it's so pure.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, everyone's kind of giving him bullshit about him not starting over Gunner. Gunner should have started over Bregman. Bregman was fucking dog shit too.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, he was you can tell he was struggling.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, dude, bad. But uh, my dad was like, who's this guy? I was like, he's just a platinum glove winner. Like, look at his glove. He made a diving play like right after that. I was like, Yeah, dude, he's fucking solid.

SPEAKER_03

I like that Roman Anthony too, man. He's gonna be, yeah, he's gonna be good. He's young, dude. He's so young, 21, bro. Yeah, he's gonna be a gamer, and he was the one of the best hitters on the whole roster, yeah. Just a gamer. But one of the biggest things I want to talk about, because once they lost, I was sitting with Dee, and she just she just listens to me because she don't know ball, but yeah, it's what I'm seeing. I've been watching Luke's team play a lot, and they're they're dogs too, like they're getting after it, but I don't know who it was and at what point they started teaching this in hitting mechanics of trying to get loft on the ball. Because for team USA, the reason they were popping up and striking out so much is because they all have this uppercut swing trying to get under the ball. Which I like understand maybe if you like your 3-0 hitters count, take a hack. You know, you're trying to get that perfect pitch. Yeah, go ahead and take that swing. But the reason that you know Venezuela and Dominican Republic look so good is because they're doing what we were taught. Fucking drive your hands to the ball, throw your hands, hit line drives at head height, and you're gonna get backspin and that shit's gonna fucking carry. Yeah. And so then I go and like I watch my brother and then play, and I see them struggling to hit like a good VLO pitcher, right? But it's because they're like for us, like when I'm in the when I was in the on-deck circle, like everything I did was like get my top hand through the ball, right? Well, I see all I see it in college baseball, I see it in the MLB, but they all do that little like it looks like a chili dip, like where they and they and they do it on the on-deck circle, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_03

They're like trying to get get everything in to like get under it and get lofts on the ball, and I think that's where people like it's fucking everyone up because you see it. Oh, yeah. When you go back to these other guys, like Venezuela and Dominican, those guys are like they're fundamental baseball, they've been doing this since they were two years old. Yeah. And like you saw it. All the big hits in that championship game were ropes. Like Acunia, first pitch of the game, line drive up the middle. That's what won them the game. They're hitting gaps. The ball was just on a line, you couldn't get to it. Yeah, but it's real easy when you're hitting a pop-up a mile high to the third baseman.

SPEAKER_05

It was uh it's your brother's generation. That's when they started teaching it. Not saying you're you and your brother obviously. No, it's just like this time frame. That time frame is when your brother was coming up, like I don't know, I don't know who like did that. I don't understand. I just I think it it was that old Josh Donaldson clip. Do you remember when he was like, if your parents say to get on top of the ball, don't, or some shit like that.

SPEAKER_03

Like yeah, I think so. But even then I remember seeing a video of a like a hitting coach talking about like getting loft and backspin on the ball. But why do you want to get under the ball for? I don't understand. Even whenever think about it like this you you go play softball. Everyone talks about like cutting the ball in half. Like if anything, you're hitting down on the ball.

SPEAKER_05

You're hitting down, you're getting backspin and it goes.

SPEAKER_03

And it is different. I I understand that. Yeah. But what I'm trying to explain is no, then think about golf. Golfers, they're not getting under the golf ball. They're compressing the golf ball against the ground to cause friction that causes backspin, that flights it out. Well, why are we gonna try and get under a fucking baseball that's coming at coming at you? Yeah why wouldn't you just go right at it and take it out? You know what I mean? I I just feel like this this new era of hitting it's making a big difference. Because I get it, the home run is it's huge, it's nice. But fuck, I'd much rather have a ball in left center, right center gap.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, just the nice double, get the momentum going. What's a home run gonna do? Exactly. It's just a solo. I mean, if you need three runs, uh great. Now you're down two, like you're not getting no type of momentum at all. Like, and if they hit it and then he strikes out the next pitcher, then that momentum's instantly gone. Yeah. Then he's back in his groove. Like, it doesn't, it doesn't make a difference.

SPEAKER_03

It just, I don't know. For me, that's how I see it. And I think that's why it made such a big difference in why Team USA went in a slump because that they you got nine hitters who are home run hitters on their teams, superstars, right? Well, they all hit the same way, they hit that long ball. It's just like basketball. You live by the three, you die by it. Yeah, well, you live by the home run, you're gonna you're gonna get killed by it. That's why you had three hits in one game, and everyone else was hitless. And at that, not even making contact.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, that's yeah, they weren't seeing it. It sucks. But like when we get older and we start coaching our kids, we're going back to the way we were coached. Yeah. Because that's I I think that's the way it should be taught. Yeah, I mean I I don't know who made coaches like that now. Is it people who didn't play? Just stuck on fucking TikTok videos? I I don't I don't understand. I don't know because I see videos now and they're like these like not younger, but like dudes in their 30s wearing pit vipers with the ice cream shorts. Right. And they're the ones teaching that.

SPEAKER_04

It's just I don't it's just weird.

SPEAKER_03

No, let's get back to the fundamentals. Let's get our hands through the ball, get on top of it, because like you get a ball at the letters, right? Everything we were taught was get your hands on top of it, right? Yeah. Get your hands above it and drive through it. Well, if you're teaching this uppercut swing and you swing up at a ball at the letters, you're going straight up. Like, come on, it's common sense, it's simple physics. Like, it's not rocket science, dude. Yeah, the rocket science is actually hitting the ball. You got a ball coming in, could be 95 or it could be a fucking 85 mile per hour changeup. That's so much different. Well, why are you gonna make it harder by swinging up on the ball? You know what I mean? Like man, my brother hit a home run, and him and one of the other kids that always kind of banter back and forth with me. And he was like, You ever do that in high school? His little buddy, you ever do that in high school? I said, No, but motherfucker, I didn't need to. Yeah. I was like, I broke the stolen base record, I hit gaps, I hit balls off the fence, and before you know, I was standing in scoring position and we had no outs. And then the next guy comes over scoring me, and it's just relaying. Yeah, they're they're grinding it out and they're figuring it out. But that my biggest thing is it has nothing to do with them. It's just that's where I see it the most. Because when you're trying to time up a pitcher, that uppercut, it just it kills you.

SPEAKER_05

It really does. Judge lost, yeah, absolutely lost. Because when it wasn't where exactly where he wanted it, he was fucked.

SPEAKER_03

Have you not I don't know if you noticed, but for me, his swing path is the exact same every time. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Right over the middle of the plate, and that's about it.

SPEAKER_05

If it's not there, it's it's he's not touching it, and that's what that's what happened.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, so I I don't know. I just don't agree with it at all. I mean either.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, you put the young guys like Anthony and um even PCA, PCA swing's nice. I like his swing too. Because he he he he knows he's fast. That's what he's just trying to put in play.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, like for me, like I was fast, so I knew it. Like a lot of times, let me just throw a ball on the ground in the five-six hole and let me beat it out. Yeah, and I get the next guy up. And I think that's like that's the biggest mentality a lot of these kids don't have, or even like these baseball players, is I understand you want to be the guy in the moment, but sometimes that moment doesn't need to be bigger than itself. Sometimes it's as simple as getting the next guy up. Yeah, because if everyone is has the next guy up mentality, you're good. Yeah, like I get it, you're a major league baseball player, you're you're getting paid big bucks. But why can't you run full speed down the baseline just to try and get on? Because I think there's a couple times you run one out, it kind of fucks with the defense. Yeah, and then the pitcher gets in his head is like, well, well, my defense isn't gonna make these plays. Now I I gotta try and strike them out.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, that's why I love Bryce Harper, dude. He's been doing that since he was fucking 18. That's why I love Mike Trout. Yeah. They're still gonna I mean, I'm not saying he does it every single time, but if he knows it's gonna be close one, he's gonna run it out. He's not gonna do jog and shit. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But I don't know. I I I just I think the mentality is ten times different.

SPEAKER_05

Classica's cool because you could see the way other countries play. Oh, yeah. It's it's insane. I mean, obviously the Asian teams are different from the what we play, and then we play way different from the way like the island teams play.

SPEAKER_03

Right. But like Venezuela and Dominican. They love that shit, bro. They play with so much emotion. I love that shit.

SPEAKER_05

It's bigger than the World Series to them. Like that's we won't we won't win it again until they have the mentality. Yeah. I know Judge said it. That's like the worst thing you could have said because he fucking sucks in big time, but but like scooball, pitch one game is alright, I'm gonna go back to my team.

SPEAKER_03

Like, bro, what the fuck? Like, are you serious, dude? Like that should be the biggest thing. Like, I feel like it would be so much I don't even know how to say it right, but the kids nowadays is say the best aura you could bring is like all those Venezuelans when they go play back in the MOB this year, they're gonna see their their teammate who was on Team USA be like, remember when we beat you? Yeah, yeah, they got the bragging rights. The same way that like Shohei was able to be like, hey, if it comes down to it, I want to face Mike Trout again. Like, yeah, I got you. Like, you're my teammate, and I got you.

SPEAKER_05

That was cool as fuck.

SPEAKER_03

That was cool.

SPEAKER_05

When that happened, that was awesome. It was such a good at-bat, too, for both of them. They both knew, and then he put some good cuts on him, man. He just missed it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

But it was an at-bat. Yeah, he was fighting him off. He was actually, yeah. We weren't even doing that. No, the championship. It was just defenseless. By you. By you, by you, miss, miss, miss. Ah, it was a rough watch.

SPEAKER_05

No quality at bats whatsoever, other than when Bryce hit that home run.

SPEAKER_03

I want to know why Cal Rally didn't play.

SPEAKER_05

He wasn't hitting. He didn't have a single hit in the whole classic. Yeah. Even when he started, he wasn't he didn't have a single hit. I just him, him or Buxton, they both didn't have a single hit.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. I just don't care for Will Smith. The only time he's good is when it matters. But that's like the end of the year. Yeah. Once he's gotten all his reps in and stuff like that.

SPEAKER_05

If if uh Raleigh was hitting, he was gonna start. Because I mean he asked he's a switch hitter. Yeah. But he just wasn't hitting, so you can't have him, you can't have a guy in there who's not gonna hit.

SPEAKER_03

I I just don't even see why at that point you don't ninth inning, you're down one. Why don't you pinch hit him? Yeah. He's a switch hitter. Fuck it. I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

It was awesome though. I love it. It was fun.

SPEAKER_03

It was it was a great game.

SPEAKER_05

I'm glad they only do it every few years. It's like every two or three. Three. They're gonna start doing it three. Because they it was a break for a while from 2023 to like 2017 because of COVID and shit. But now they see how much people love it, they're gonna they're gonna start bringing it back.

SPEAKER_03

Well, did you see that baseball is like one of the biggest growing sports right now? Like it's surpassed the NBA. Oh really?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, dude, the NBA is fucking dog shit. No, it's terrible. I hate it. I I hate I can't watch it. I can barely even watch like the finals. Yeah. Like it's just it's so boring. March Madness, I watch March Madness all day.

SPEAKER_04

They love that shit.

SPEAKER_03

Everyone is there for the love of the game. Yeah. And it gets to the next level. You you show yourself there, you're good.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, dude. Baseball's on the combo. And I love it too, man. This guy was talking to me at work. He's like, he just started. He was like, so what are you doing, bro? Just watch sports, man. Honestly.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Uh NFL football's gonna be rough this year. For me. Yeah. It's gonna be real rough. One of those rebuilding years. Years. This has been a rough three. We just lost our best defensive player. That's how it is, man. And not only that, we lost him to a conference rival, bro. If we don't get an offensive line, Joe Burrow's gonna be dead.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's gonna be a few. He's gonna be gone by the time they fully get to what they want because it's gonna take a couple drafts.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know if he'll leave. I think he will.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think if he does, it'll it won't be till like towards the end of his career. Yeah, later on. Yeah. He's making too much money. And I think as long as Chase is there, I don't think he's going nowhere. Yeah. He's got one of the biggest threats against defenses right now.

SPEAKER_05

I love football, dude, but I just love baseball. It's so much just watching these games, dude. It just felt it felt so good. Just watch sitting down watching a uh two two and a half hour baseball game.

SPEAKER_03

Dude, I I that's why I love going to watch my brothers' games. It's just I'm like, I'm in it. I'm baseball. It's like the atmosphere, bro. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I think we I think we enjoy it more just because we understand it way more than kind of any other sport.

SPEAKER_03

This is how I know I'm getting old. I watch two baseball games from the right field line. I wasn't even in the stands. I was down the fucking foul line. Uh dude.

SPEAKER_05

I that's what I like watching games just because I understand like what's going on. Yeah. Pick out somebody and you'd be like, oh, this is what this guy's feeling, and you can just like analyze it way better.

SPEAKER_03

I like it because I I just I read into things so well. I'm like, this guy's stealing. Like yeah, you know. This guy's he's got him timed up, he's gotta switch up his looks.

SPEAKER_05

You know the situation, you know that's a lost art.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, pitchers don't switch up their looks anymore. Oh, really? Yeah, dude. I've been noticing it a lot. It's just changing so much. Especially in the like the college baseball I've been watching. Dude, it it's tough. It's real tough.

SPEAKER_05

It sucks when it sucks when tech stags. Because I love tag baseball so much, dude. And they're so bad. We can hit the fucking baseball, though. But that's we can put up 10 runs a game, but the other team's putting up 16, 17.

SPEAKER_03

It's that's what happened last year, too. And then they fired the pitching coach, like, oh, that was the problem. Well, shit, it's not doing any better. No, it's the starters. It's what it is. At that point, just start your bullpen. Yeah, see what happens. You reverse the reverse thing or some shit. Shit, just throw five pitchers for inning or two each.

SPEAKER_05

And they'll win a couple games against a good team. Like, oh, we're back, and then we go fucking lose the Dallas Baptist 16 to 10.

SPEAKER_03

Like, dude, this is fucking like fucking Kansas whooped our ass.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Kansas? Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

You'd let Kansas baseball beat you. That's why I'm all in on softball. Like we were a baseball team or baseball school before anything else. Yeah. It was the best part of our sports program was fucking baseball.

SPEAKER_05

Before football, before basketball, everything.

SPEAKER_03

But yeah, the softball's fun.

SPEAKER_05

We won't be good until Tadlack gets over that NIL bullshit, what he feels about it, and all that shit. So unfortunately.

SPEAKER_03

Man, the softball team.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, they're good, they're good as fuck.

SPEAKER_03

That's an all-star team.

SPEAKER_05

We got three badass pitchers now, not just one.

SPEAKER_02

That's the thing. And fucking KT can hit, bro. She's a beast, dude. She's bad. She's bad. She's so good. Yeah, she's crazy.

SPEAKER_03

She does everything, literally. I think that's what's helping that team so much is they have like five players who can play anywhere. Yeah. And none of them mind sitting down. They're just like, you know what? I'll take a break.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, you can save Najer for the big shit. And then a team doesn't have to see her three times in a row and then they time her up.

SPEAKER_03

Just let her develop all year, and then no one's seen her, no one has any scouting, and then it's like, we got you. We got you right where we want. And it helps because it's like they have righty lefty. So it's like it doesn't matter what they're doing, it's coming from a different dude. They're all good. Molly Williams is a fucking beast. Dude, she's leading the NCAA and like hits and I knew she was a dog.

SPEAKER_05

You know who her dad is, right? Uh-uh. Jason Williams. Oh, really? The old basketball player? White chocolate? Yeah. Yeah, dude. That's her dad. Damn.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't know that. It's crazy. I like that Lauren Allred.

SPEAKER_03

I think she's a dog. Yeah. She's hot. They're all good, bro. It's crazy.

SPEAKER_05

I already told my girlfriend they go back to Oklahoma City, we're going. That trip's awesome.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I bet.

SPEAKER_05

Being there. Being there at the beginning when all the games are happening. Right. You be there all day. It's cool. But especially being there if they make it deep for the championship games, oh, dude, it's so fucking fun.

SPEAKER_03

Bro, that Tennessee team looks good too. Yeah. They look real good.

SPEAKER_05

We I saw that girl pitch. It's a lot faster in person than it looks like on TV. It is fucking. And it's so close. It's so close. They have no time.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man. It's fun though watching them. It's it's different. Like it's softball.

SPEAKER_05

It's well the sports way it's not way different, but it's it's a lot different than it is baseball. It's so more like fast paced and everything.

SPEAKER_03

I think that's why I like it too. Yeah. Just all right there.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's fun. I've been watching. I I got the Texas Tech app and I bought like the ESPN Plus bundle so I can watch every game. The only ones I can't watch is when it's like on that tech network or whatever it is. I forgot what it's called, but I was like, I'm not spending money on it. I don't know. Basketball's been a little rough watch.

SPEAKER_05

I already gotta spend fucking money on the Rangers to watch their shit. It's $130. I hate that. Yeah, it sucks. I think they get a TV deal after this year, but it sucks.

SPEAKER_03

Go back to putting it on FS1.

SPEAKER_05

Basketball would be different if JT didn't tear his ACL. Oh, I watched it happen too, dude. He was watching it. He fell, I was like, dude, he tore it. I already know. Because I've torn I've torn mine twice, and I knew exactly what he did. I was like, yes. I knew it. I was like, yeah, his knee's done. My dad was like, he's hyperchanged. I was like, no, dude, he tore it.

SPEAKER_04

Look at him.

SPEAKER_03

That kind of guy, he ain't just gonna stay down like that.

SPEAKER_05

No, he don't, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I know it, I know he hates it not being able to get out there. He hates it.

SPEAKER_05

He couldn't travel either. Yeah. Because he just had surgery.

SPEAKER_03

That's a gamer.

SPEAKER_05

I hope he doesn't leave. He probably is, but I hope he doesn't. Because he's only a sophomore.

SPEAKER_03

Right?

SPEAKER_05

Him and Christian Anderson. He thinks he's. He leaves too. I think they'll pay him enough money to stay. I don't think he's projected that high in the draft either. Both of them. Fucking if they stay one more year, we'll get a few better guys than we have this year because fucking Watts' ass.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he's developed. He ain't no D5. Dude, I'm so why did he not come back, bro?

SPEAKER_05

The NIL money, bro.

SPEAKER_04

He got a bigger bag.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man. Now they're bounced already. Yeah, exactly. He'd at least have a run at it. Dude. Because he declared for the draft.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And then didn't he sign with Kansas?

SPEAKER_05

Nah, I forgot what happened.

SPEAKER_03

I think he was shit like that. He was planning on going with Kansas and then he backed out, and then he was at NC State. God, he was so good. I like D5, dude. He was good. So good, man. I loved watching him play. He was a gamer too. He left.

SPEAKER_05

I was like, fuck, man.

SPEAKER_03

I knew once he declared for the draft, I knew he wouldn't come back. Nah. I knew he wasn't going to get drafted, but I knew he wouldn't come back.

SPEAKER_05

Now he can't come back because he's already a fucking senior.

SPEAKER_03

He don't have any more eligibility left.

SPEAKER_04

He was good.

SPEAKER_03

He is real good. Hopefully they win tomorrow. The girls, too? You've been watching the girls?

SPEAKER_05

Nah. I'm not watching until that seven foot five bitch plays. Dude, she's huge. She's massive, dude. She's fucking huge. She's massive. She won't play till next year, I think, right? Is what they said.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, they said there's no reason of throwing her in mid mid-season. Yeah. They're gonna save her eligibility and then.

SPEAKER_05

Dude, she's gonna be fucking bees, dude.

SPEAKER_03

And that's what the girls lack right now is uh someone in the post. Yeah. Because every everyone to play, like the one they have, she's too big. She can't keep up. So like when we played like Kansas State, it was just a team full of guards. It's too fast. Yeah, they were too fast. And the girls, like at the start of the year, they weren't very efficient.

SPEAKER_05

When do they play? They play tomorrow too? Tomorrow night. Tomorrow night?

SPEAKER_03

I'll probably watch it then.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

It wouldn't matter if I watch it.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. But yeah, I'll be working fucking during the day, so I can't.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, I'm taking my iPad with me to work. I don't give a fuck. I usually watch it on my screen, but I'm gonna take my iPad just so I can have it right in front of me. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I'll be keeping up. I'll make that a little airpod and put on the radio.

SPEAKER_05

True. You can get the radio app on your phone too. I got it already. Best time of the year, man.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, March Madness is so much fun. I ranked it one of the best tournaments ever.

SPEAKER_05

I think I said that on the Kings podcast when I had him on too. Because I think March Madness is one of the best tournaments world like in the in the world. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It just it's a long spans out.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, you play everybody. Anybody can play all day long. CNA almost beat Duke today. They should have beat him. They didn't they didn't play us up until like two minutes left in the game. It was the starting five the whole time. Didn't Ohio State.

SPEAKER_03

They have TCU and they're like big favorites.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, TCU beat them. I picked TCU to win on my bracket too. Any Big 12 team, I usually pick them the first because the Big 12 is good as fuck, dude. Everybody's good.

SPEAKER_03

It's the best conference in the NCAA. 100% hands down.

SPEAKER_05

If Tech wins tomorrow, I think they'll beat Alabama and go to the Sweet 16, and then I don't I don't know from there. Tech can either get bounced tomorrow or they can go to the Elite Eight. It just depends what team shows. That's what I'm saying. Because we can we could be good without topping. We've seen it before, but they can also be complete dog shit like they've been. But I think they had a little bit of rest, and I think we'll be alright.

SPEAKER_03

I think that's what they needed because I mean our starting five pretty much plays the whole fucking game. Christian Anderson plays every minute. Hardly ever gets taken out.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, he went down too. I was like, fuck, dude. Please don't. Yeah, he just he pulled a stupid ass glass court. Yeah. Dumb as shit, dude. Why would you do that? It looked like ass, dude. Like it the cracks and shit. I don't know. Fucking money grabs. That's all it comes down to.

SPEAKER_03

We'll see what happens. That's really all that we can do at this point, huh?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. That's what I'm saying. I hope we make it a little run just so we can have like a little get together. Those are awesome. I love those.

SPEAKER_04

It's always a fucking vibe, dude. Yeah, it's just fun. Everybody gets together, dude. All the all the boys.

SPEAKER_03

And it's been a lot here lately, too. It's like I kind of weaved my way into the depths of it. Oh yeah. I got in a group chat now, so got a little bit more accessibility. But it's been fun, dude. I you gotta come play golf, dude. It's so much fucking fun. I can't get over it. I think about that all week. Like shitty week. There's golf coming at some point. Let's go hit some 18. Yeah. Now and we got sunlight later in the day now. So we hit a little late twilight rate.

SPEAKER_05

It's still not even dark outside. It's already I mean, it's dark, but it's not fully dark. It's already 8 o'clock, you know?

SPEAKER_03

Oh yeah. This is this is my time of year. I love the winter, but this is like this next month or so before it's real hot.

SPEAKER_05

Right when time changes is like one of the best times of the year, or right after time changes is like one of the best times of the year, I think. Weather's still nice. You get those occasionally windy days, but it's perfect.

SPEAKER_03

Oh man, I'm so excited.

SPEAKER_05

It's gonna be a good summer, man. We'll be out there. My girlfriend will make me get out more than I usually do, so she likes she's at the lake right now. Damn.

SPEAKER_01

What the fuck?

SPEAKER_05

Her family's camping out there today and tomorrow. She's like, I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go stay out there.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, um Raylan has to have surgery. Oh, really? Yeah. It's a little procedure. It's nothing invasive, but she has really bad nosebleeds.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, you're gonna fix something in there?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, just something's going on in there, but they gotta go fix some stuff.

SPEAKER_05

That's wild, dude. Just random nosebleeds all the time.

SPEAKER_03

Like in that hurt her? It not hurt her, but there were sometimes like her nose would be bleeding for so long that she would like start freaking out. It's like, dude, it's not stopping. Yeah, there's one time like blood clots were coming out and it was bad. Yeah. So we finally took her to the doctor, and that's what they said. Go in and look for a few extra things and scary, huh? Yeah. At first I was just like, it's what the doctor said, that's just gotta get it done, but that's especially if they're not ever in the doctor to begin with, too.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. And then you gotta start going, you're like, fuck.

SPEAKER_03

And so now I'm like, I kind of start thinking about it a little too much. And I I just don't think it's something I was ever, I don't know, prepared for or ever like really ready to deal with, but like worrying about your kids like that. Yeah, and then when it comes down to it. You don't expect something like that.

SPEAKER_05

No, dude. I mean, when I was out of town, I we were chilling at the hotel and then they texted me, like, really burned your hands. I was like, dude, I'm not even like there. I can't really do I can't do anything, literally. Yeah. So I'm just sitting there just watching my phone, just waiting and shit.

unknown

Like, oh my god.

SPEAKER_05

Then your mood changes. You know, you know, you don't know what the fuck's going on over there.

SPEAKER_03

I feel like it's probably part of being a man too, like being like feeling so helpless, like you can't do anything. Yeah. It's like it's the worst feeling ever. You're just out. Like there's nothing you can do. That's what it gets me. Because I I hate not being in control. It fucking sucks.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, just you feel helpless. Yeah. Like you just you're literally just like sitting there watching. What the fuck?

SPEAKER_03

There's gotta be something I can do. No, you can't do anything. You can sit there and shut the fuck up. I'm like, oh that's the fucking worst. Yeah, it sucks. But yeah, we'll we'll see how it goes, get through it.

SPEAKER_05

So I think something like that, just real quick and simple. Yeah, that's what we'll hope for, yeah. Yeah, that's all you can hope for, basically.

SPEAKER_03

I just see what happens and go from there. And then she has to get like allergy tests. You yeah, you know what they do to like test your allergies, like what you're allergic to? They put a bunch of them on you. And like your back, like your prick, yeah, your spine and stuff.

SPEAKER_04

It's like a grid. Yeah. To see which ones you're allergic to. I'm like, what the hell? Yeah. I've had that happen to me before. Yeah, to do that?

SPEAKER_05

My allergies are bad.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, mine are bad too, but I never did that.

SPEAKER_05

I'm allergic to like some pollen, some type of grass, and then obviously dirt and shit, but I am allergic to some stuff. I'm scared to see mine because I'm allergic to all kinds of shit.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

I said it earlier, but it's so much easier to talk when the disease is not here. Oh man. Bro, you know what's crazy? He said that on Facebook. He said, no more wild statements. I've been PR trained. Yeah. That's the biggest fucking lie I've ever seen.

SPEAKER_05

It's the biggest lie he's he said so far.

SPEAKER_03

It'd be like 30 seconds in and he would say something. Say some outrageous shit.

SPEAKER_05

I'm sitting there fucking having to edit out.

SPEAKER_03

Why did you show up? Yeah. Who invited you? He has been salty lately. He has. He'll be back, dude. He'll be back. He's gonna hear this and he's gonna be like, all right, I'll be back. When you're doing it again, I'll be there. Yeah. We know it. That's how he always gets. You know another thing I saw him post? You have him on Snap, right? You've seen him when he posts all that dumb shit.

SPEAKER_05

It's mostly the time I'm at work and I'm like, look, look at what he posting out to Danny.

SPEAKER_03

What made you think of this shit? Like, honestly. Well, there was one that he posted, and I I slid up on it. I said, dude, you literally just saw a TikTok that said this and came and posted it. I was like, you gotta be fucking kidding me.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, it's it's true, too.

SPEAKER_03

Where somebody's commenting he sees. Yeah, and then or then he'll post something, and I'm like, dude, you have no fucking idea. And then I post I post my story, right? Uh last night I posted a story. Oh, yeah. I was just drinking, had a little cigarette, take the edge off, and he fucking responds to me and says, I'm sending your ass to AA tomorrow. I'm like, dude.

SPEAKER_05

He's fucking stupid, dude.

SPEAKER_03

He does uh I'll make one phone call, you're going to prison, okay?

SPEAKER_05

I do that to him all the time, too. Look, get your little ass off Snapchat already, bro. Just take a break for a little bit.

SPEAKER_03

Bro, you're 30 plus, bro, acting like you're 15. That shit was funny.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, man.

SPEAKER_03

When I said that in the group, he got all mad, huh? Yeah. You can tell you got a little soggy.

SPEAKER_05

I'm not rage baited. Yeah, you are. Don't lie, yeah, you are.

SPEAKER_03

I miss him. I miss having him here just because I can't I can't make fun of him this face. I can't talk shit to him.

SPEAKER_05

He'll be back. I'll give it either next episode or the next one. He'll be back. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, this studio has made a good run.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Went through the tran the big transition, so yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's crazy how far we've come. Yeah. Like I know we hadn't been doing it here lately, but like just to be back in here, it feels fucking great.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. We got one more one more hurrah in here, and then it'll be somewhere else. It's all the same though. Yeah, I mean, yeah. Give me the mic. I think having it in different places too would be pretty cool. But we'll figure out a we'll figure out a home for it. It sucks I don't have a garage though, man. It really does.

SPEAKER_03

It doesn't have like a garage at all. You have a driveway?

SPEAKER_05

There's a driveway in there, and he built a thing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

A thing. Yeah. A carport.

SPEAKER_05

But it like goes like all the way around too, so it really won't. Yeah. I mean, it's nice that he built it, but garage is sick to have. Do you just chill in the garage? Open up the garage door. Yeah. So chill on the tear down.

SPEAKER_03

Peak.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, soccer season starting again for my daughter. So.

unknown

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_05

She loves that shit, huh?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, dude. She has a blast. I enjoy watching it. It's just because it's different. Like, yeah. I'm literally just watching.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, from compared to when you go to baseball to soccer, it's your perspective changes because now you're just like, all right, go have fun.

SPEAKER_03

I just get to watch. Like I just get to enjoy watching. When I watch baseball, it's like you're critiquing shit. I'm breaking down every fucking little thing. And I wish I could turn it off, but I can't.

SPEAKER_04

No, it's hard to. I'm the same exact way. I'm like, why am I sitting here thinking about everything?

SPEAKER_03

In the exact same way. When it comes to that soccer boy, let me kick my feet up and I'm about to just watch this. Just enjoyment time.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's so cool too, because I don't know. I I guess you don't ever really think about like how your parents feel getting to watch you grow up and get better at things. And it's surreal, man.

SPEAKER_05

Like she got that dog gene too.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

She don't take shit from nobody, dude. It's it's so cool just to see her. And I mean, that's what you hope for, right? You try to instill things in your in your kids, and that was one of them is like, hey, you may be sensitive, but you're not gonna be a little bitch. Yeah. And that's how she is. Like, she's rude. She's an asshole. I under I know why. I could she's like me, but both my kids. That's funny. No chill, either one of them. It's fun. I'm I'm excited to get back to the fall though for tech soccer.

SPEAKER_05

I still haven't gotten to a game ever since you started gone. It's been like what, two, three years already that you've been gone? Yeah, they're fun.

SPEAKER_03

I've gone to at least a couple games every year.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, I like soccer. I mean, I know what's going on and stuff now, too. So I've been watching it for a few years already.

SPEAKER_03

I'm starting to pick up on it. I need to go.

SPEAKER_04

There's sometimes they stop and I'm like, hey, why'd you blow the whistle? This year, the World Cup, you gotta watch it.

SPEAKER_05

World Cup's awesome, dude. If you think World Baseball Classic is awesome, yeah. World Soccer World Cup is it's it's like that, but their care for it is a thousand times more. Yeah, that is the like the most important trophy to all of them.

SPEAKER_03

I I'm gonna try to.

SPEAKER_05

Nah, dude, you got to. It's so cool.

SPEAKER_03

I think I might buy FIFA. FIFA's fun too. I used to play it way back when.

SPEAKER_05

Especially once you start playing FIFA too, you have to know the rules. Yeah. So you start learning a lot more shit and like plays and stuff. Yeah. It's pretty fun. I don't know. I miss the boys' FIFA runs. It's called Pro Clubs. Pro clubs are fun as fuck, too, because you get your team, but you only control your guy. Oh, really? Yeah. That's interesting. It's pretty fun. So like I'm striker, and then you know, the guys will be the wings and then the center mid Dave on defense. The only guy who wants to play defense is having back there by himself. The rest are AI, but like he's back there and holding the line. Yeah, that's fucking awesome.

SPEAKER_03

We've been playing a lot of Rocket League.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

It's fun.

SPEAKER_05

Rocket League's fun. I haven't played it in years. Get on. R Craters are so fun, dude. I love our creators.

SPEAKER_03

I can't I can't get my stuff to do it. I've seen so much gameplay, and I'm just like, no. Dude, it's so fun.

There's so much shit to do. You can go do all the quest and shit with the arc and just shoot the AIs, or you can go kill people. And the proximity chat. It's so fun, dude. Yeah. Someone down you, then you're fucking barking and shit so they can res you. You know, like bark for me, alright, you know, I'm gonna fuck. You res me and get out with my shit. Yeah. Yeah, it's one of the one of the best games that's probably ever came out as far as popularity. I I enjoy it. I didn't think I was gonna like it as much, but I do. I can play it solo or I could just play with some friends too. That's a cool thing.

SPEAKER_03

Been playing a lot of PGA too.

SPEAKER_05

Damn, I haven't played PGA in a while either.

SPEAKER_03

It's a game of the month right now. Really? Oh yeah, it's okay.

SPEAKER_05

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_05

Two hour? Two hour, six minute.

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_05

I mean, we I mean, dude, we wouldn't we didn't talk for how long? A couple months, maybe.

SPEAKER_03

I hadn't talked to you since I think right after New Year's.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. But that's that's just how we are, dude. That's just our relationship, I guess. And it's not even we could and then it's not even like not talking as in like Matt. It's just like we just don't. We're just doing our shit. Yeah, we're just doing our own shit. And then when we talk, it's like it's not Yeah, it's just right back. Yeah. But yeah, don't worry. This is one of the shorter ones, too. Like if we we've gone years without talking before.

SPEAKER_03

I think we'll be good now. I think now that we did that, I think we're gonna be able to keep it more consistent.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I'm still not listening to other people's podcasts, but have you?

SPEAKER_03

Not really.

SPEAKER_04

Like see, I just I have here and there, but like I just I don't know. It's not anything like not throwing shade at nobody.

SPEAKER_03

Obviously, I just don't like I don't even listen to like Rogan or anything. That's what I'm saying.

SPEAKER_05

I don't listen to nobody's podcast. I'll just be listening to music. I I don't know. It's just been a little a little different lately. Flam's just been hitting me up too. Asking where we're at.

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_03

SPEAKER_05

It's back because I'm already ready to like I said before we started, I had those I had those butterflies.

SPEAKER_03
