Jordan: Hi everyone! I’m Jordan.

Ember: I’m Ember.

Jordan: And welcome to The Astro Study Room. We are super excited to welcome you to this space and our goal for this podcast is to feel like we’re all just students meeting up after class to go over our notes together.

Ember: Whether you’re brand new to astrology or deep in your studies, you are welcome here. We are both dedicated and interested students of the cosmos ready to share this astro journey with you. I’m currently studying with Tenae Stewart, The Witch of Lupine Hollow and her Starlight Coven,

Jordan: And I’m currently studying at Kepler College and also under Heather Eland, and we definitely won’t be lecturing you with this podcast, but Ember and I both happen to be university researchers and we will provide citations, receipts, and credit where it is due.

Ember: This podcast is meant to share what we’re learning together and to talk about how these astrological topics can show up in our day to day lives on the surface level but also in more deep, transformational ways., and as the true witches we are, we couldn’t start a podcast together without a little dedication ritual to some pretty powerful allies.

Jordan: This podcast is an offering to Venus and Mars. I have Mars in Gemini in my 8th house and this podcast is how I honor Mars and honor my passion to speak, research, and uncover the hidden truths in this world, and also make them accessible to everyone. Mars gives me the confidence to ask the tough questions and challenge what makes us comfortable and I hope this space invites listeners to do the same thing.

Ember: And I have Venus in Gemini in my 9th house. Venus is the planet that’s always spoken to me in very powerful ways helping me to cultivate self love and abundance and I’m so excited to honor Venus through this podcast as I learn and grow with fellow students and always show up with an open mind and a desire to spread love and connection with our listeners, and fun fact, Mars and Venus also happen to be our chart rulers and we both have them in Gemini.
