Jilly Carrell, winner of the Overcoming Adversity Award

In this episode we're talking to Jilly Carrell, the winner of the Overcoming Adversity Award. 

Jilly was a military spouse until the death of her husband Colonel Nick Carrell, who died while serving in 2021. 

We talk about her experience of navigating out of military life and the obstacles that stood in her way.

We also talk about 'Beyond The Wire', a charity which Jilly founded to offer support to other bereaved Armed Forces families.
