All right, y'all, quick special episode because what show is literally next week? And I'm so excited. I could not wait to jump on the mic and let you know what we've got going on while we're there. If you're coming to the show this year, I can't wait to meet you. And this is a personal invite from me to you to come to some of our classes and let's go have a beer. I'm teaching two sessions. I will be all over the floor. And we're even doing live podcast recordings while we're in Indiana.
So let's talk about what's happening and where you can find us. So why does the wet show matter and why should you go there? This industry has truly changed my life. It's not like you woke up and was like, I wanna run a ship business, right? But it gave me a career, a voice and a community. And wet is one of those places where you don't just learn stuff, you actually build relationships and you leave thinking bigger.
I always say your next level doesn't come from staying comfortable. It comes from getting in the rooms, real rooms where they're having real conversations and being willing to look at your business and your leadership a little bit differently. So on Monday is the presentation on the knot track, which is called septic success blueprint. I'm teaching septic success blueprint from one to two 30 in room one.
That's room 133. And this one is for owners and leaders who want more than just surviving week to week, moment to moment. This session is about building a business that actually works for you, not one that runs your ass into the ground. We're talking about real systems, real structure, real strategy. And we're going to talk about things you can take home and implement in your business right away. We're talking how to scale without chaos.
how to stop being the bottleneck in your business, how to let go, how to create clarity in your operations, your team, and really getting to know your numbers. If you're doing good, but you know you could be doing fucking great in 2026, this one's for you. If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, capped out, ready to blow it up, this one's for you. You don't have to do any of that. And I want to give you the practical, usable tools I've personally used in my own business.
Tanya Wilson (02:30.424)
things you can actually implement, that's exactly what this class is made for. On Tuesday, we will be producing and presenting Septic Strong, which is actually a women-focused class. We are so excited to teach this class. My septic bestie, Kim and I, will be doing this class. And it is totally different. It is...
one of a kind, fiery, and to be honest, it's just really coming from our hearts. It's happening Wednesday from 2 30 to 3 30 in room 233. That's room 233. We're on the women's speaking track. And let me just stop a second and let's talk about this because this is monumental. This is truly history changing.
in what the wet conference looks like. This is the first year where they actually have an entire day and an entire speaking track dedicated to women presenting and women-focused classes. I get super emotional about that because we've been asking for and trying to do this for so many years and I'm so proud that I get to be one of the presenters that is actually on the speaking track. So,
Kudos to everybody that has participated in making this happen. We're so excited for that. And that is what this class is literally all about. Because we're talking about confidence, leadership, owning your seat at the table or building your own fucking table and navigating a space that let's be real, hasn't always been built for or has been very kind to women.
This is not a sit quietly and take notes kind of a room ladies. No, no, no. This is going to be a real conversation. It's about business. It's about mindset. It's about personal growth. It's about leadership and it's about not playing small anymore. So many women in this industry say, I just do this. I just answer the phones. I just run the office. Girlfriend, that is the fucking business.
Tanya Wilson (04:48.544)
And I want you to stand up, fix that crown. And our goal is to send all of you walking out with this leveled up energy of understanding the impact of who you are in the business, really embracing who you are as a woman in this industry and what you contribute and stop playing small and staying behind the scenes. So.
We need to see a lot more women faces out in the wastewater world and that is what this class is really going to be about. So if you're a lady in this industry, I want you to know I will be looking for you as well at the women's mixer on Monday night. Come and find me. I would love to meet you. I would love to grab a coffee with you, a beer, whatever your fancy is and just talk about your business, your goals, who you are and what you're wanting to build.
And then on Wednesday, that's going to be a blast because we're doing live podcast recordings at the Cole Publishing Booth, which is booth number 6473. That's 6473. At 10 a.m., I'll be recording a live episode with my franchisor partner, Micah Finley, who is also one of the Young Professional Award winners this year.
We'll be talking business growth and what it really looks like to build something big in this industry. And I got to tell y'all our franchise model, our business model, our distribution channels of building out more amazing septic businesses has literally fucking exploded. Like there's no other way to say this. We have incredible people on our team. We genuinely and authentically are helping business owners.
build bigger, stronger, septic companies. And I'm so proud of what we've been able to accomplish so far. We have seven locations operating in Texas, one in Arizona. And I don't, I've literally lost count of how many new ones are coming on board right now. We're gonna be in Washington, Colorado. We've got a few more opening up in Arizona. There are so much interest from New Mexico. We got Ohio, we got.
Tanya Wilson (07:08.27)
Seriously, the upper northeast. It's so cool to see what is happening here and it's catching fire because it's different. So definitely come and listen to our podcast recording so that you can get a feel of what it is we're trying to build. And then at 11 a.m., right after that one, at the same booth, I'm doing a live recording for Ladies Kickin' Ass, my other podcast.
With my septic bestie, Kim Turner of Turner Septic, y'all know that's going to be a good time. If you know us, you already know it's going to be real fun and full of really great conversations. So come watch, come say hi, come jump in and be part of the conversation. It will make it so much more fun being interactive. It's going to be such a great time. So here's the deal. What? It's next week. It starts Monday. It goes through Thursday.
is Septic Success Blueprint, so come learn better things for your business, 1 to 2.30, room 133. That night is the Women's Mixer. On Tuesday, it is Septic Strong from 2.30 to 3.30 in room 233. Boy, that's not crazy alliteration or anything. And definitely come be a part.
of our live podcast recording at the Cole Publishing booth on Wednesday the 17th. That's booth number 6473 at 10 a.m. for handle the shit and 11 a.m. for ladies kicking ass. If you see me in the halls, stop me. You see me in the big, I don't even know what the hell you call it, showroom. Did they do the showroom? Like, I don't know. It's where the show is. It's where all the big fucking trucks are at. You know, all that place.
Please stop me, introduce yourself. I would love to meet you. I would love to learn about your business because this industry is so much more than just pumps, pipes, septic tanks, wastewater treatment, all these things. It really is a community of amazing, bad-ass people. And honestly, like traditionally, it hasn't been a real network friendly kind of place. Everybody kind of keeps to themselves and they don't spread the wealth.
Tanya Wilson (09:30.886)
And I am really trying to beat the hell out of what that ceiling looks like because I feel like when we all work together, we elevate an industry as a whole. And this is when lives change. This is when businesses change. This is when industries change. And we all have the power inside of us to be able to make a mark and help do that. I'm so grateful for this community. I'm so excited for these conversations.
and I cannot wait to see so many of you in person. We are planning to try to record as much as we can of these sessions and drip them throughout Ladies Kickin' Ass and handle the ship for the next couple of months. I know it's gonna be great information and so if you can't make it to the wet show, we still would love to be able to give you all of the information that we'll be talking about in these classes. So stay tuned for that and until next time, keep kickin' ass.
and keep handling the ship.
