Kate Newman is an Australian wildlife and conservation photographer based in Melbourne (Naarm).
What began as a creative outlet during Melbourne’s 2020 lockdowns quickly evolved into a full-time career. With a background surrounded by animals and a lifelong love for the outdoors, Kate taught herself photography from the ground up, starting with backyard birdlife and growing into expansive wildlife conservation storytelling.
Her work has since been featured in publications, exhibited globally, and brought to life through workshops, brand collaborations, and fine art prints.
Driven by a deep respect for the natural world, Kate’s images aim to spark connection between people and the conservation of animals.
