When you worked for someone else, HR was where people went when they got hired, fired, promoted, or needed to complain about the office thermostat. But once you're running the clinic, HR becomes something much bigger... and blurrier.

In this episode, we're talking about the HR stuff clinic owners don't always realize they're supposed to be thinking about: the decisions that start before your first hire, the messiness that shows up as the team grows, the job descriptions everyone ignores until there's a problem, and the legal "oh no" moments waiting around the 10–15 employee mark.

Good news: this isn't rocket science. It's just easier when someone walks you through it before you find out the hard way.
